NO ONE'S POV

Im Nayeon woke up with a massive headache, she's been busy with work she hasn't been able to get enough sleep, well, that's what she wants to believe in. But everyone knew it was from the non-stop crying she does whenever she is alone in her house. It used to be a home, a warm and cozy home.

She got out of bed and the first thing she noticed was how big their place is. Weirdly she always thought the place is too small but ever since her soon-to-be ex-wife left the place, it felt that it was empty. The warm and cozy home she used to live in is just a plain, cold and empty house now. Her body feels heavy every time she opens her eyes on a new day, she settled on the sofa, hugging her pillow while she checks her voice-mail.

*BEEPS*

"Unnie, it's Sana just calling to check on you. Since it's your day-off, please sleep a lot, and make sure you eat at the right time. If you need anything give me or Tzuyu a call, I'll see you on Monday." FROM : SANA-CHAN

*BEEPS*

"Nayeonie! Dahyun and I are going to try this new restaurant, they have a variety of food. We can pick you up if you want to, just give me a call and we'll be right there." FROM : MOMORING

*BEEPS*

"I've been calling you since last night, Sana told me you were home. Uhm I'm just wondering how are you doing? I heard you've been working yourself too much, you know that's not good for you, right? If you need time off just tell me, don't wait for me to force you to rest. Text me once you wake up unnie." FROM : JIHYO-SSI

Nayeon just looked at their wedding portrait while she listens through her voice-mail. To be honest, her head was not picking anything up, it's empty. To her, it was just noises.

*BEEPS*

"Good morning Unnie, it's Mina. Well, Chaeyoung is with me, we're having dinner at the moment. We haven't heard anything from you since then. I hope you're doing okay, Sana said you won't talk to anyone if it's not about work. I'm just letting you know that there's a lot of us who won't mind listening to you. If you're ready to talk we'll be here, just take your time. Let's meet up whenever you can." FROM : MINARI

*BEEPS*

"Hey... Nay-"

Even before she heard the whole thing, Nayeon had ended the recording. She knew who that voice belongs to and she's not ready for it. She's not ready to hear her voice, to hear her explanation and she's not ready to hear her say her name.

Once again to avoid the topic Nayeon turned the TV on but no matter how hard she runs away Jeongyeon still manage to catch up to her. Because the first thing that she saw was Jeonyeon's press conference. She was about to turn the TV off when Mina spoke,

"Yoo Jeongyeon is gonna have an indefinite leave from the entertainment industry." The Japanese said.

Nayeon stares at the rectangular box in front of her. Jeongyeon was sitting in the middle of the table in front of many people while Mina explains what led to the decision. She didn't hear anything about it, since all she did was bury herself in work and avoid her as much as she can.

She looks at her wife, her eyes were empty it's like somebody took the life out of her. Out of nowhere her tears fell, she thought it's too early to cry but she knew that pain doesn't know time. Any more of it and she'll break down but before she could turn the TV off,

"Manager Myoui!! From SBS, can I ask Jeongyeon, one last question?"

Mina looks at Jeongyeon, Nayeon notices how her wife nods back. It's been an endless question about their marriage and the taller girl hasn't said anything other than "No comment."

MN : "Go ahead."

"Ms. Yoo all of us who came here and even your fans just want to know one thing, what really happened between you two?"

This time instead of answering straight up, Jeongyeon paused for a while. The people in the room became silent, waiting for what she has to say. Nayeon's heart aches for so many reasons she's not sure of, one of it was seeing Jeongyeon having to go through all this on her own. The taller girl stood up to grab the mic and said,

"We lost control." She looks at the camera as if she was telling it to her,

"We lost control Nayeon."

Maybe Jeongyeon was right, maybe they did lose control, maybe this is what they meant when they said,

The more Im Nayeon shines the more her wife, Yoo Jeongyeon fades.

Maybe the one who lost control was her.

She knows she should've listened to what her wife has to say, to her explanation. She loves Jeongyeon, she loves her more than anything in the world, Yoo Jeongyeon is her life. But in the heat of the argument, her mind became a mess and without properly thinking she blurted the words,

"Get out! I want a divorce!'

And since this is Yoo Jeongyeon we're talking about, the girl who'll go to the ends of the world just to give her wife what she wants. Jeongyeon just calms herself down, packed her bags, and left. But you can't blame everything on Nayeon, she was hurt and the only thing she can think of at that moment was to avoid the person who hurt her. Before she knows it things have fallen apart, she hates Jeongyeon. She hates her for always giving her what she wants, for how she just walked away and didn't even try to argue with her back then but she hates herself more. She hates herself for pushing the only person she needs, for pushing Yoo Jeongyeon away.

She wonders when it started, when did her happy marriage fall out of place, was it because of the different things they wanted? Or was it because they had enough of each other? All she knows was one day she woke up and Jeongeon was nowhere near her. With tears drowning her Nayeon ponders,

When did their end begin?
