"That may be, but we can't just tell everyone that you beat Taec up because he knew you kissed your sister. Correct? Plus, He is still the son of the CEO after all and your step brother."

With that Taec smirked at the idea and finally was able to calm down a little . Taeyeon looked back at Taec with disgust in her eyes and she too went upstairs. The rest of the meeting was just the adults catching up with each other and eventually Mr. Lee and Mr. Bae left Jessica's home with Taec limping behind them.

Taeyeon tossed in her bed restlessly.

Feeling frustrated that her plan backfired, she had to admit that she was thankful for Mr. Lee's sudden appearance. She was very lucky because Mr. Lee's words held more credibility than her's ever would. Not only that Mr. Jung would have prevented her from finding a job in Seoul, she would have lost a valuable asset in her search for her parents. If she admitted about beating up Taec, she would have definitely suffered worse. She knew ahead of time that if she was to upset Mr. Bae it may affect her entire life in Korea, which is why she came up with the plan of staying with Tiffany. However, having never dated, she did not realize the consequences of just sleeping with a friend. When she thought more about it, it made more sense. But it just makes her life difficult, and it's even more complicated for her because she is dating a girl. So, in the end she has to be careful around both guys and girls. That night, to her it was just a sleepover until that drug kicked in. Which reminded her that the drug stated it only intensified the victim's feelings prior to taking the drug...did that mean Tiffany loved her? Why else would she kiss her?

She pulled up her phone and then googled for an answer. Hopefully, something else will come up other than love. In fact, there were other possibilities than love, but of course the results weren't much better.

Feelings, romance, love...feelings, romance, love...all the search results lead to that. Other than that...lust...What the heck is that? And a quick google search...

"uhhghh!!" Taeyeon shuddered at the thought.  She set her phone down and gave up on thinking. Then remembered that Jessica seemed very upset at her. She thought Jessica didn't like her. Although the girl has been nicer to her compared to before, she can't help but be defensive. What if I just disappoint her and then embarass myself. She felt that she doesn't know how to be a good friend and if a friend at all. High school was high school. At least she knew what to do, like study together, watch movies and just have fun at her own house. Now she got all these things on her mind, responsibilities and everyone around her like going out, socializing, she doesn't know if she could keep up. 
 

Aish. At least I owe her an explanation. Why do I feel so guilty...and yet if... Taeyeon gave up on thinking and got off her bed. 
 

She lazily walked outside of her room and went over to Jessica's bedroom door. 

"You know if you go in there, you are going to die a horrible death." 

She turned around to see Krystal looking at her, who just gotten out from hiding.

"Whatever." She just decided to walk on in. 

On the bed, she saw a lifeless Jessica lying down facing the wall. Taeyeon walked over and before she could say anything, she suddenly felt guilty. Not that she knew why, she sat on the edge of Jessica's bed and reached out a hand to grab the girl's attention. 

"Get out."
