After witnessing the horrifying scene of her mother's assassination, Kim Taeyeon became an orphan who suffers from amnesia. Despite losing her memories that caused a strange shift in her personality, Taeyeon became the smartest girl at her school without realizing it. However, only a rare few knows of her hidden talents due to her lack of interest in the people around her. She enjoyed a lonesome, slack and leisurely life until the arrival of her persistent seatmate, Tiffany Hwang.

Tiffany's patience and perseverance seem to cause many reactions out of the cold and careless Taeyeon. But Tiffany's interest in the girl had also caught the attention of Tiffany's best friend, Jessica Jung. The daughter of a well known executive from one of the top companies in Seoul, GG Corp.

Jessica Jung felt irritated by Taeyeon ever since she laid her eyes on the strange girl and wanted to have nothing to do with her. As time goes by, Tiffany and Taeyeon grew closer, while Jessica and Tiffany grew further apart.

One day, fate pulls Tiffany away from Taeyeon in order for Tiffany to study in America, causing a great misunderstanding between the two friends.

Dedicated in following her own path, she disobeys her uncle's wish for her to study in America, and arrives in Seoul. 

During her studies in Seoul, she develops a highly independent and cold personality and seldomly associates herself with others. Coincidentally, that did not prevent certain individuals to take a surprising amount of interests in her, including the girl who felt irritated just by the sight of her, Jessica Jung. Having been called back by her father to study in Seoul, Jessica tries her best to persuade her father to support her dream of becoming an idol. When she was about to give up her dreams after numerous failed attempts, she was surprised when her father suddenly changed his mind because of her.

As fateful events present itself, some of Taeyeon's past slowly resurfaces and through time, it inevitably catches her attention. At first Taeyeon was oblivious, however, as more events unfold, her heart can no longer leave her questions unanswered. 

Things get even more complicated when Tiffany arrives back in Seoul as if God was testing the three in a cruel game of love. 

In the midst of all, she discovers that her biological father was the wealthy CEO of GG corporation.

Taeyeon's goal: Just to have a joyful life. Will she find happiness by getting the girl of her dreams and the answers to her questions -- or suffer the same fate as her deceased parents?
