Kikwang pulled IU away from the crowd while other B2ST members continued entertaining the crowds. Now, they were alone, behind a tall white building.

“Why do you bring me here?” IU asked, shocked with Kikwang act.

“I need tell you something,” Kikwang replied with his serious expression.

“Why don’t you tell me through the phone?” IU asked, not truly satisfied with Kikwang answer.

“Because we need to go now,” Kikwang replied confidently.

“Where?” IU questioned, didn’t understand with Kikwang statement.

“To the Jeju Island,” Kikwang replied casually.

“Jeju Island?” IU asked, felt blew by the statement.

“Yes, I-I’ve found his location,” Kikwang stuttered, suddenly felt unsure. Still, he needed to be fast before that guy runaway again.

“But can’t you wait for another day. I’ve to at least tell my parents,” IU pleaded. This was too sudden for her.

“We will think about the excuses later. Now, we need to go,” Kikwang pulled IU again to the parking lot.

The blue black BMW M3 Coupe swiftly drove out of the university with both IU and Kikwang in it.

“B2ST has just finished a performance, sir,” the secretary told his superior, Mr. Lee Seung Gi.

Seung Gi frowned. As far as he knew, B2ST never asked for his permission for a performance today.

“What facility that they use? Why they did that?” Seung Gi simply asked as his eyes were still on the papers on his working table.

“The foyer. It’s just a simple performance. I think it is because of your son,” the half-bald man replied humbly, standing still in front of his superior.

Seung Gi lifted up his head, looking at his secretary confusedly. “My son?”

“He confesses to Lee Jieun, the first year student,” the middle man avoided his superior eyes by looking down.

Seung Gi expression changed instantly as he smirked. “One point for me,” he said to himself.

“Omma, I’m going to stay over at Suzy house today,” IU talked through her phone as her eyes kept glancing at Kikwang, as if asking whether it was the right thing to do.

Kikwang smiled, to assure.

“There is a group assignment that we need to finish by tonight. Yup, the dateline is tomorrow,” IU paused as she listened to her mother as her eyes were now looking at the road.

“Thanks Omma,” she finished the last sentence and cut off the line. She sighed, relieved that her mother believed to her words.

“I hope she won’t ask Suzy anything,” IU mumbled, feeling guilty for lying to her mother.

“Have her did that before?” Kikwang asked while his eyes stuck on the road.

IU shook her head although she knew Kikwang was not watching her. “Nope,”

Kikwang grinned satisfiedly. “Good,”

“Two ticket to Jeju Island,” Kikwang told the woman staff at the counter.

“Here, sir,” the woman passed him two pieces of card-like paper.

“Thanks,” Kikwang gave the woman his infamous eye smile and turned around. He didn’t need to see her to know that she was smiling shyly. He made his steps to IU who was standing not far from the counter, waiting.

“When is the plane?” IU asked when Kikwang approached.  

“5 minutes from now,” Kikwang answered with his teasing tone while looking at his watch.

IU raised one of her eye brows, a sign of disbelief.

“I’m serious. Let’s go,” Kikwang replied simply and started to walk away.

IU was frozen for a while before she chased him back.

“So, tell me about that man,” IU asked as she was trying to keep up with Kikwang fast steps.

“He was only a normal lorry driver until he met my dad,” Kikwang answered in monotone, not even tried to glance to IU.

“Then?” IU asked, unsatisfied.

“His only son was sick at that time. The deal was my dad treats his son while he killed Yoseob parents,” Kikwang continued, finally entering the lounges.

“He agrees?” IU was not actually asking, she knew the continuation to the story.

  “He was jailed for 10 years for that car crash even he was accused for unintentional murder,” Kikwang sighed, looking down. He felt guilty for that old man. He was old and had been jailed yet he might be jailed again. However, this was all for Yoseob. He needed his statement.

IU silenced. She pitied the man. He had had his payment. She didn’t sure if this was the right thing to do.

“I’m home,” Yoseob greeted as he was back from the musical first practice.

“Welcome home, Yoseobbie,” Eun Hee replied cheerfully. “Wash yourself and then bring Jiyong here for dinner,” she said while arranging the dishes on the dinner table as So In was helping her with the cutleries and plates.

Yoseob smiled and climbed up the stairs. Sun Hee was rarely home but once she was home, the house felt so homey and warm, most probably because of the motherly aura. IU would surely inherit this motherly attitude. Whoever that got to be his husband and father to her children would be the lucky.

Yoseob suddenly remembered the scene that happened earlier that evening. Kikwang and IU had become a couple officially. Actually, he felt angry to Kikwang for making IU his girlfriend yet he felt guilty at the same time. Kikwang had helped him a lot and he couldn’t just claim IU because he liked her. But, he was so sure that Kikwang love Suzy but why did he do that. Or, he actually did like IU.

It reminded him of what happened at the camp where Kikwang punched him for IU. Yoseob sighed. He was blind. Kikwang might do like IU. However, the way he looked at Suzy was different. Yoseob shook his head. This was too confusing. He didn’t know which to believe.

Unnoticed, Jiyong held one of his legs. It made Yoseob woke up from his deep thought. Yoseob smiled and lifted Jiyong to his chest. “Want to bath with me?” Yoseob smiled.

“Where is IU?” Yoseob asked casually at the dinner table while he placed some foods in Jiyong’s plates.

“She calls me earlier saying that she will stay at Suzy’s house tonight,” Eun Hee answered.

“Well, how is the musical practice?” So In asked Yoseob.

However, Yoseob was drowning in his thought. Somehow, he didn’t believe that statement because he saw Suzy was walking home alone.

“Yoseob,” So In called as he noticed that Yoseob was pondering.

“Yes,” Yoseob startled with the sudden call.

“How is the practice,” So In repeated the question to soothe the situation. What actually happens between them? So In thought.

“Fine, we have got the script and the director is a bit strict. Still, I’m sure it will be fun,” Yoseob replied, trying to be his normal cheerful self.

The sun had set down. Suzy was making her way to her home while her mind was floating away. It was about what happened yesterday and today. She noticed Kikwang was not there for the first practice for the musical. They had even got the script but she didn’t have the chance to read it yet as the director kept explaining about the practice schedule today. The characters were not decided yet. She didn’t have a high hope for the main character but every girl would love to be the heroine.

Then, she noticed the crowd in front of her house. She was frozen, fear quickly appeared in her chest as a heavy burden and feeling. Then, she saw two police cars came from the opposite direction and stopped in front of her house. The policemen got out of the car and walked through the crowds. Suzy couldn’t see through the crowd but she was sure that they entered her house.

Her chest became heavier. She gathered her courage to make steps toward her house. She was afraid. She was scared. She was worried. She was anxious. All the feelings mixed. Afraid, scared, worried, anxious of what had happened to her parents.
