Suzy was waiting at one of tables provided at the cafeteria. She didn’t even know why she agreed to meet the caller. She didn’t even know the caller but she was curious. Yes, she just wanted to know that person and what he wanted to talk about. She hoped it was not something serious. Was it because of Ji Eun? Ji Eun had become popular because she performed at the show, some liked her but most hated her. Poor Ji Eun.

“Suzy,” A voice called out her name and it killed her thought.

Suzy looked upward, turning her sight to the owner of the voice. “Kikwang Sunbae,” She exclaimed out of surprised.

“Come with me,” Kikwang grabbed Suzy hand.

Since cafeteria was an opened and public place, there were a lot of eyes on them. Kikwang, a B2ST member, one of the popular guys at the university just took a hand of an unknown girl. Suzy was sure that was what they were whispering to each others. However, she didn’t have any intention to pull back her hand. Wait? She was waiting for the mystery caller.

Suzy stopped her steps which made Kikwang stopped too. Kikwang turned to Suzy with a confused expression.

“I’m waiting for someone at the cafeteria actually. I’m sorry,” Suzy said kindly, pulled back her hand and turned to the cafeteria.

“No,” Kikwang pulled back Suzy’s hand.

Suzy was puzzled with all Kikwang act. However she was not in the mood of asking.

“That person is me. I need to bring you to the clinic,” Kikwang said kindly.

Suzy became more confused. “Clinic?” She voiced out.

Kikwang nodded his head. He took Suzy’s wrist and pulled out the wristband, exposing the purplish-red wrist. Kikwang sighed. This was worse than what he expected.

Suzy was frozen when Kikwang pulled out her wristband. She didn’t expect that but she didn’t hate it. Suzy then followed Kikwang to the clinic. The doctor covered her wrist with a bandage and gave her pain killer, swollen-reducer medicines and some others. Suzy just kept quiet, looking at Kikwang with his anxious look. He must felt truly guilty, that was why he doing this. Suzy sighed. It was the right thing to do but Suzy didn’t know why she felt hurt thinking that Kikwang was doing this out of guilty.

While they were in Kikwang car, Suzy tried to ask him although she knew the answer. “Why do you do this? I’m not even your friend,” Suzy looked down, waiting for the answer.

Kikwang turned to Suzy and turned back to the road as he was driving. “Because I’m the one that hurt you. That the least that I can do to fix it,” Kikwang answered.

“I see,” Suzy replied. It was an expected answer and she was sad with it. She was wishing for something but what was it? What did she want exactly?

Kikwang turned to Suzy. She looked a bit disappointed.

“Do you have class after this?” Kikwang asked, trying to lift up the situation.

Suzy shook her head. “The lecturer cancelled the class,”

“Want to have a lunch date with me?” Kikwang asked teasingly, trying to joke and cheer up Suzy as he kept looking at Suzy while trying to look at the road.

“Lunch date?” Suzy giggled. “I prefer a lunch date with Yoseob sunbae,” Suzy continued as she still giggling.

“Yoseob? Why him? Am I not good enough?” Kikwang asked again, smirked. He was a bit surprise and slightly disappointed to hear Yoseob name but he was happy that Suzy finally smiled. She didn’t curve a single smile today, maybe because of what had happened to IU.

“No, you are great,” Suzy looked at Kikwang smiling. But you are Ji Eun’s favourite. The thought killed her smile. She felt guilty. Did she just grow a feeling toward Kikwang?

“I am? Then, why don’t you like me?” Kikwang asked naughtily. He noticed that Suzy suddenly stopped smiling and he didn’t know why. He couldn’t just give up yet.

Suzy giggled. “I do like you,” Suzy instantly widened her eyes and stopped laughing. She sighed. What have she done? “I mean...” She lost the words to say.

“You like me? Are you serious?” Kikwang asked excitedly. This was not in his plan but he was happy to hear it. A cute girl just confessed that she liked you, won’t you be happy?

“No, I mean.... Aigoo..” Suzy didn’t know how to explain. She did like him but she can’t say that she liked him but she also can’t say that she hate him. One thing for sure, she had a feeling for him but she just couldn’t tell it out loud.

Kikwang laughed lightly. “If you like me, why don’t we date?” He invited, still in a teasing tone.

“Eh?” Suzy was shocked. What was that? An offer? Dating offer? With one of B2ST members? With Lee Kikwang, one of the most popular guys in the university, the son of the university president?

“Sunbae...” Suzy was wordless again.

“I’ll give you time to think about it,” Kikwang voiced out as Suzy was still confused. Kikwang was not sure whether he was serious or he was still joking. Well, it started from a joke but then he really wanted to know Suzy’s answer. However, if she answered yes, he should accept it, right? Kikwang glanced at the confused Suzy and smiled. Whatever her answer, he won’t regret it.

“Anyway, let me treat you for lunch since I steal some of your lunch hour time,” Kikwang tried to break the silent.

“Okay, sunbae” Suzy answered. She didn’t have to reject that offer. She was hungry and she needed food.

“Could you call me oppa? It is weird when you are dating someone but she keeps calling you sunbae,” Kikwang pretended that he was sulking.

“We are not dating yet,” Suzy replied feeling a bit annoyed.

“This is a lunch date, remember?” Kikwang raised one of his eyebrows, smiling naughtily. He reminded Suzy of the first question that he asked just now.

Suzy giggled. “Yes, OPPA,” Suzy replied, stressing on the word ‘oppa’ and continued giggling. She was happy and the reason was Kikwang. It felt like they were dating already. At that time, she had forgotten how bad she felt about IU, her annoying lecturers, her disturbing assignments and about every single thing that burdened her.

“I’ll go,” IU said to her mother. She decided to go to the campus today. She would try her best to face all the haters. Plus, now that she had her mother, she knew she could face it.

“Ji Eun, morning,” Suzy greeted IU weakly as she saw IU walked out of the door.

“Morning,” IU replied. She noticed the weak tone of Suzy voice. She also noticed the bandage on her wrist.

“How is your wrist?” IU asked, starting the morning conversation as she was concerned.

“It’s getting better,” Suzy replied, trying to smile. However, she felt guilty.

“Ji Eun,” Suzy called out the name softly. “I have something to tell you,” Suzy stopped and held IU’s hands. “I hope you forgive me,” Suzy said, in sad and guilty tone.

“Forgive you? For what? You didn’t do any wrong,” IU was puzzled.

“Kikwang and I...” Suzy paused, looking at IU and looked down. “We are almost dating,” Suzy sighed. IU must be mad at her now. She didn’t dare to look at her face.

IU smiled. “Do you like him?” IU asked kindly. She was actually happy that Suzy told her.

“A bit, maybe,” Suzy replied, still not looking at IU.

“Then why don’t you date him?” IU asked softly.

Suzy was surprised with IU question. She instantly looked at the smiling IU, puzzled. She was not mad. She was smiling and it was sincere, a very lovely and sincere smile.

“Aren’t you mad?” Suzy asked innocently.

IU shook her head. “Why should I? Kikwang is an idol and I like him as an idol not as a man or a person,” IU explained.

“Really? So I can date him?” Suzy asked curiously, partly excited.

“Of course, I would be the happiest person if you do that,” IU replied, smiling happily. She was happy that Suzy was happy. Part of her was happy that Suzy won’t have any feeling towards Yoseob. But why? Why she didn’t want Suzy to like Yoseob?

“Thanks Ji Eun. Then I’ll give Yoseob to you,” Suzy replied excitedly, jumping slightly at her place.

“Yah! Yoseob is not even yours,” IU replied jokingly although she was actually happy with that statement. Then, they laughed.
