Xero

My phone went off waking me out of a quiet sleep. I opened its screen and squinted, trying to read the message.

At first I read:
>Xero. Come back home from school. You are awkward. I know you like Namjoo. I'm going to bed with Jackson.<

I shook my head and rubbed my eyes, re-reading it to make sure this was all just my brain playing games with me.
>Xero. I'm back home. See you at school tomorrow? Hopefully it wasn't too awkward in school. Namjoo is such a good girl. What are you doing? I'm just lying here.. onto my bed.. thinking about stuff. Stuff like you... like Jackson... mostly like you ;)<

I smiled and started typing back.

What I wanted to say was:
>Of course I'll see you at school :) I'm glad you are home safe. Was everything okay tonight? I am thinking about you too... I miss you... And thinking about that date with you...<

But what sent was:
>Of course I'll put you at doors :) I'm slapped you are breads saved. Was chickwings okay tonight? I am linking to you... I piss you... And winking about that gate at you...<

She responsed quickly:
>...huh..?<

I sighed as I re-read what I had sent.
>Sorry... Autocorrect...< 
Then sent her what I meant to say.

>haha stupid xero ;) everything was okay... i miss you too<
>I know... Get some rest now, love :)<

I quickly passed out again, sleeping heavily through the night. I was tired that day, for some weird reason.

I was woke by a kind knock on the door. It was my mom. She sat at the edge of my bed as I fought to wake up.
"Xero, since your big school break is coming we planned for the three of us to go to the two cabin's at the lake. We know you usually bring your friends, but did you want to invite Sojin instead?"
I blinked and mumbled. "Appa's okay with me bringing her?"
"Of course," She pushed some of my hair out of my eyes. "I talked to him about her."
I smiled at her. "You like Sojin now?"
She sighed. "Was I that obvious..? It's not that I didn't like her, I just knew that you were getting into drama over god knows what, and I didn't like that. But you two seem fine now. It warmed my heart to see my precious little boy holding his very first crush on the couch." She pinched my cheeks, laughing.
"Yahhh, umma..!" I tried to fight her pinches but was too weak. "I am not a little boy anymore."
"I know, but I will always love you..."
"I love you too..." I smiled again to her. "Umma, can Changjo and Namjoo come too?"
She frowned in questioning. "Who are they?"
"They are Sojin's best friends, who are dating now." I rolled my eyes in wonder. "I think."
"Yes, they can come." She stood up and went to my door, looking to me before she left. "I will talk to your appa."

School started and I felt my sides pinched by some person. I turned around to find Sojin smiling up to me.
"Hi Sojin." I smiled to her, then looked around, noticing the many people around us today. "How are you?"
