Chanyeol was starting to realize that something was really wrong when he didn't hear anything from Haneul that night, and since she didn't have morning classes the next day he didn't see her the next morning. Then she didn't even approach him during the rest of the day except when he texted her asking if she would be having dinner with them, he got a 'No, late shift at Halcyon so I'll eat by myself'.

Usually, Chanyeol would still go and look for her, pester her into eating with him or surprising her like so many times he had done. However, this time, he yielded without putting up a fight.

The same thing went on for Saturday and Sunday, and while Chanyeol was not thinking about it every second of the day, he did start to get that bad feeling in his gut. And even Yixing noticed the change in his behavior, because during practices he would find Chanyeol suddenly staring off into space or constantly checking his phone and then tucking it back into his pocket quickly afterwards. He seemed to be in a bad mood, too. He didn't have classes on Monday so he spent the whole day walking around, wandering around central town as if he didn't have anything better to do.

Whenever he was in the elevator, before he reached up to press the number 19, his eyes would always flicker down to the number 13 and hesitate before pressing his floor.

But, he did actually make it to her doorstep Saturday night, Chanyeol stood there for a good five minutes, thinking of what excuses he had to be knocking at her door at almost eleven.

He returned – sulking – back to his apartment before eleven-thirty and went straight to his room, leaving a very confused Jongin sitting in front of the TV.

Jongin eyed the door of his bedroom worriedly, then fumbled around for his phone (he had a little trouble with that, he thought he'd lost it – again – but finally found it stuck in between the seat cushions) and opened a Line group chat.

Before he could type his reasons for opening the group, someone beat him to it.

B.Hyun: What is this?

Chen: Don't we already have a group?

Bokyung: Hi guys :D

Sehun: Supppppppppppppp

Jongin rolled his eyes and flopped back down onto the couch.

Kai: Slow down, Haneul noona and Yeol hyung aren't in this group

B.Hyun: [smirk]
B.Hyun: I see where this is going

Chen: I don't get it

Suho: Me neither

B.Hyun: omg
B.Hyun: Am I the only one who's getting this?

Sehun: Nope
