Risa's pov:

My eyes were tired as hell and I couldn't stop myself from yawning constantly.

"A fly will fly inside your mouth like that..." Jihoo chuckled, making me smile sheepishly before gulping down my morning coffee.

It was late in the morning, but Jihoo and I decided to get breakfast together since he was now in the country.

"Haven't slept that well." I explained as I sipped more from the delicious coffee.

"How come?" Jihoo asked curiously, his eyes hinted with worry.

"I just had a nightmare." I smiled lightly and shrugged my shoulders as I took my toast and brought it to my mouth, taking a small bite from the crispy bread and the soft melted cheese and salted ham.

"So, how is life there in New York?" I asked, curious to know how he was spending his time abroad instead of working here in South Korea.

"Good. A small problem here and there, but everything is going well. I'm not regretting my decision." Jihoo chuckled, making me smile brighter.

"And you? Maeri told me you take different classes now?"

I blinked a few times before getting what he meant and gave him a sheepisch smile.

"Yeah... Since I'm working full time under my company now, I'm taking lessons like singing, dancing and acting... Can be handy for later."

Jihoo nodded his head as he ate his food slowly.

There was a silence, but it wasn't awkward.

Maybe people would think it was a bit weird and awkward to et and sit together without anything to talk about, but not for us.

We have grown in our friendship to not even care about that anymore.

"How long are you going to stay here actually?" I asked after the silence broke because of the waiter taking away our plates.

"I'll be leaving end of this week, but I'm sure to come back again."

I smiled as I nodded.

"That would be nice."

I nodded as I sang the lines on my piece of paper, over and over again, trying my best to use the right technique.

"I can see you have trouble changing from low to high and back. This is something we have to practice, but overall, you have improved a lot for someone who isn't a singer." my teacher complimented me, making me brighten my smile.

"Thank you; I'll keep practicing." I bowed my head slightly.

"Sure do." she smiled. "You can go for today, Bitna is going to come for her daily practice."

I nodded as I heard Bitna's name.

Just like timing couldn't be any better, the very same person we talked about, knocked ont he door and walked inside, greeting me and the teacher with a friendly smile.

"Oh, you're done sunbae?" Bitna asked as I gave the woman a small nod.

I quickly left the room and went to the cafeteria to get something to eat after all that singing, and something to drink of course too.

Kim Bitna. Just like me, she was scouted and entered the company like that.

She was a beautiful person. The same age as me, she was different than me.

Though neither of us two were the cutesy type of women, she was different and SM Entertainment searched for someone different to expand their businesses.

Long wavy hair, a small face with big eyes, the skin like porcelain and having the right propotions was almost like a blessing for her.

Bitna was a model, just like me and debuted last year. The popularity came fast and she already got many offers.

People think I might envy her for this, but that's not true. Sure sometiems she got better offers
