Frozen
Frozen TimeHello you beautiful people out there. ^_^
Sorry for not updating last week, I was kinda still having a migraine from not sleeping well during my grandmother's funeral... And then I had a bunch of relatives staying at my house so (obviously) I couldn't exactly update with them around... xP
My sincere apologies... *takes a full bow*

Eunhyuk’s POV
“This totally doesn’t make sense,” I told myself firmly, not wanting to believe it. “It worked perfectly before, what’s happening now?”
I tried another slide and peered into the microscope again. I still saw the same thing. All five samples of the evolved virus strains I had seemed to have mutated again. Worst of all, my salt antidote no longer worked against the newly-mutated monsters.
Shoot.

Kibum’s POV
“Hae.”
I took his shivering hands and tried warming them between my own, rubbing on them for friction. Hae looked gratefully at me as he tried to bury himself further into the warm fur linings of his winter coat. I bit my lip, feeling helpless that I wasn’t really able to do much about it.
“Feeling better?” I asked concernedly, when the last of his second hot chocolate was sipped up.
“A little,” he sighed, shuffling his feet together.
“Okay,” I hummed, not knowing what to do next. “Umm, can I get you anything else?”
“Maybe another hot chocolate?” he asked, his eyes hopeful. I smiled teasingly at him and nodded my head, standing up to order at the counter.
“Yah, I’m gonna have to ask Hyuk to reimburse me for all the hot chocolate I’m buying you,” I joked.
“I’ll make sure he pays you back double,” Hae grinned equally as mischievously and winked at me, making me laugh all the way to the counter.

Author’s POV
“NO!!”
Too late, Eunhyuk dashed back for cover just before the single drop of nitroglycerin splashed into the pink concoction.
“BOOM!!!”
Shards of glass flew across the lab, some landing into sinks and others on the floor, raining down around the crouched man. He’d found out that he had used the wrong chemical too late when it was already spiralling down the burette into the chemical mixture.
Eunhyuk made sure the coast was clear before peeking out behind the table. His left sleeve had been sliced open by a piece of flying glass and it had embedded itself in his skin. He winced as he pulled the glass out and gingerly stepped over the mess on the floor, ignoring the stinging pain in his arm where a trail of blood was already smearing across his white lab coat.
“Almost… there…” he huffed, trying to salvage what he could from the small explosion. “Why…”
“Hyuk?? What are you doing here? I thought you were supposed to be at home??”
Eunhyuk spun around on his heel, witnessing Leeteuk panting at the lab door as if he’d just run a marathon. Leeteuk’s eyes widened at the pink, shiny mess on the floor and he gasped when he saw the deep gash on the younger’s arm, staining his clothes a deep red. “Hyuk, you need medical attention right now. Don’t move your arm.”
“I’m not going anywhere, hyung,” Eunhyuk forced a chuckle as Leeteuk waddled through the glass and approached him with a first-aid kit in hand.
“Give me your arm,” Leeteuk ordered.
“I’m fine, Teukie hyung. Please don’t worry.”
“What do you mean you’re fine? You’re bleeding very badly. Now just be a good boy and hold it in…” Leeteuk ripped a gauze bandage and tied it firmly above the gash to try and stop the
