Author’s POV

Fortunately for Donghae, he couldn’t remember a single thing he did to Eunhyuk the previous night before, probably because he was still out of it. His memory stopped after the both of them stepped foot in the suite. Eunhyuk didn’t really know whether to be glad or to be disappointed, watching Donghae trudge in and out of the bathroom the next morning, as if nothing just happened the last night. He just decided to lean back against the pillows and if possible, catch a few more winks before he had to get up. He was dead tired. After all, he had spent half of the night trying to calm himself down and making sure Donghae was safely snoring in bed before he actually had the chance to go to bed and sleep in peace.

He heard the bathroom door open for the last time as Donghae noiselessly made his way to the bed. He peeked out and saw his boyfriend at the foot of the bed, looking as if he was getting ready to pounce on him. Eunhyuk quickly shut his eyes and drew the covers nearer to his body as he got ready for the massive impact in three… two… one…

“Oof!!!”

“Hyukkie wake up!!”

Donghae leaped onto Eunhyuk’s sleeping figure and started digging his fingers into his sides. Eunhyuk on the other hand was prepared for the jump but not the ambush, and he kept squealing out loud whenever Donghae’s fingers ran over his ticklish spots. Donghae grinned and continued attacking him without mercy, until the both of them rolled over and over in bed, getting all tangled up between the bed sheets and blankets.

“Wakey wake wake, Hyukkie!!”

“I’m up!! I’m up!! *gasp* Babyyyyy!!” Eunhyuk panted out between gasps as he tried fighting back the sneaky fingers slipping into his shirt. “Babyyy!! Please…”

Donghae stopped only when they were near the edge of the bed, almost falling to the floor. He sat on Eunhyuk’s tummy and thumped his head on his boyfriend’s torso, listening to the heart that was beating perhaps twice as fast as his own. He felt Eunhyuk’s arms wrap around him. Without any warning, suddenly Eunhyuk began tickling him back. Donghae started giggling and squirmed on top of his boyfriend, causing the both of them to fall onto the carpeted floor, Eunhyuk first.

“Ow!!”

Donghae dropped on him on all fours and let out another giggle. He sat up and pulled Eunhyuk up into a sitting position. Eunhyuk let out a monster yawn while rubbing his head. He peeked at Donghae with sleepy eyes, who was starting to laugh hysterically at Eunhyuk’s serious bed head.

“Hyukkie, let’s go!!”

“Where do you want to go today?” Eunhyuk suppressed another enormous yawn he felt coming. “Aren’t you tired or anything?”

“No,” Donghae giggled in response. “Actually, I feel like some ice cream.”

“Now? In the morning? Babyyyy…” Eunhyuk couldn’t believe he got ambushed for ice cream. “You could have just called room service. You didn’t have to wake me up,” he grumbled.

“Come on Hyukkie, I want my ice cream.”

“I can’t believe you got me up so early just for that. I’m tired and I still wanna sleep,” Eunhyuk complained.

Donghae pouted and got off the floor. “Fine, I’ll go get some myself since Mr. Grumpy Head here doesn’t want me around.”

“I didn’t say that!!”

“You thought that.”

“Did not!!”

“Did too!!”

“Are we doing this again, baby?”

“We don’t have to if you don’t want to. I’m leaving.”

“Baby wait!!”

Eunhyuk scrambled off the floor just in time for Donghae to slam the door in his face. He groaned in frustration and hurriedly rushed back to the bathroom to wash up and fix his horrible bed head. He washed in record time. He flew out of the bathroom only to hit his little toe on the nightstand and he hopped around in pain, trying to suppress the tears from squeezing out of his eyes. The pain subsided only after a while. He then noticed that Donghae had left his wallet behind on the nightstand and he put it into his pocket, ready to run out after a sulking Donghae.

He opened the door and dashed out, only to be met with towels tumbling over his head and falling over the hotel maid who had come to clean up the room. Eunhyuk mumbled his apologies and helped the maid to pick up all the towels from the floor. Luckily the maid didn’t seem to mind, so he ran off immediately after that towards the elevator.

He tapped his foot impatiently, waiting for the elevator to reach his floor. It seemed to get stuck at the third floor for some reason and it was a good five minutes before a loud ‘DING’ finally sounded. The elevator opened to show the lift crammed full of people. Eunhyuk sighed in exasperation and motioned for the people in the elevator to continue their journey without him. The lift was taking too long and he felt like he couldn’t possibly wait for it to make another round without him tearing half his hair off. Everything seemed to go wrong for him.

In the end, he dashed towards the emergency stairs and attempted to run down to the dining hall on the second floor from the tenth where their suite was.

Eunhyuk was breathless and panting painfully when he finally reached the dining hall. His eyes scanned the area for a certain brunette but he wasn’t in sight. He wiped off the sweat from his face after all that intense running and plopped down on a nearby chair, feeling his legs going all jelly. He frantically racke
