Early update today!! 

Be thankful because I woke up early and I'm on holiday today... Hahahahaha xDD

Okay okay the last chapter a lot of you guys were complaining that EunHae should get back together already!!! Yeah I know, I can't bear to separate them for too long either, but I needed to tell both sides of the story as well, don't you think?? >_<

I promise they're back together in this chapter, okay? But expect some drama first. Try not to cry nehh?? *brings out whole box of tissues just in case*

Author’s POV

Donghae was weak from hunger. He hadn’t eaten anything since yesterday’s half-hearted pasta dinner. No more tears escaped his eyes no matter how much he cried, as his tear ducts have all dried up since long ago. He was lying limp on the couch face down, still tightly hugging the monkey plushie.

He couldn’t understand what the immense throbbing pain in his heart was, although it seemed to get even more painful every time he took a breath. He couldn’t understand what just happened yesterday, although he knew that he was probably the cause of it. He couldn’t understand why Eunhyuk didn’t bother returning to him, although he was sure that he knew the answer already. But he didn’t want to face the truth, or what he thought was the truth.

Eunhyuk didn’t want him anymore. Not when he had always been such a clingy crybaby who depended too much on his boyfriend, and definitely not after he told him to stay away after the huge misunderstanding yesterday. Donghae could feel the familiar crying sensation wash over him even though he couldn’t cry any longer.

Was Eunhyuk still mad at him?

Donghae’s stomach protested violently in growls and groans, forcing him from the couch to get something to cure his pangs of hunger. He stumbled across the room to grab a glass of water but froze in place when he finally saw the white notepaper on the night stand.

He shakily brought the note to his eyes, not trusting what he read.

Hae baby,

                I’m sorry for not trusting you. I’m sorry, baby. I promise I won’t do that again. If you don’t want to see me anymore, I trust your decision on that. I trust you know what you’re doing. Although it hurts me the most to leave you alone like that… I’ll stay away from you because I trust your decision. I trust you with that ‘Wookie’ guy. I trust you with your friends. I trust you with your life. I’m sorry for doubting you. I was wrong, and I’m sorry.

                I love you. I trust that you still love me too. But it is still your choice. I don’t want to force you to forgive me because I trust that you will find it in your heart to forgive me in due time. All I ask from you is that you wouldn’t hate me for what I did. I admit I was wrong to jump to conclusions like that. I’m so sorry, baby.

                One day without you is pure torture for me. I love you so much that it hurts, like my heart was just torn out and ripped in two. Nonetheless, I respect your decision to stay away from me. My love for you will never change, and I hope that you will remember that.

                If you don’t hate me anymore, can you please meet me at the park where we first went on our first day here together? I’ll be waiting for you. You don’t have to oblige if you don’t want to, though. Because I trust that you will make the right decision for your heart. I promise that I won’t get mad or angry if you don’t come. I will totally understand.

Donghae crumbled to the floor, clutching his aching heart. His tear ducts sprang back to life and pooled tears in his eyes, spilling out in two long trails down either sides of his ashen face. Eunhyuk didn’t leave him. He was waiting for him. Donghae didn’t know how to respond and sat on the floor in a daze. His fatigue wasn’t helping him either. His head was starting to pound and his breathing was becoming irregular.

Donghae’s POV

Hyukkie was waiting for me. All this while I thought he left me… I couldn’t stop myself from crying again. I was sick of crying but my body refused to listen to me.

The headache started to get worse. I clutched my head in my hands and screamed in frustration
