Jewel Theft and double crossing? What could be better? Three words. Bang. Yong. Guk.

Bang Yong Guk: “*whispers* Come on. Hurry up.”

You drop from the ceiling and land silently next to your partner who is hungrily eyeing the rare jade diamond on display. You reach into your pocket and pull out a pouch. You grab a handful of its contents and blow the fine white powder across the floor. Red lights appear forming a grid that would set off alarms if touched. You smirk as you slide under the first one. You do a backhand spring over the next two. You slide gracefully under the last one and stand up, raising your arms.

BYG: “*mumbling* Show off.”

You plug in a decoder and unlock the glass case causing it to slide down into the hidden slots. You carefully reach over an invisible laser grid and grab the diamond, replacing it with a replica. You slip it into your pocket and flip over the laser grid again. You pull the gem out of your pocket and admire it with Yong Guk. Just as you are about to slip in into a box, the alarms go off. You look up at Yong Guk who is wearing a wicked smirk. You back up away from the boy clutching the jewel.

You: “Yong Guk what’s going on?”

Before the boy can answer, you feel a foot whip across your face. You look up to see a girl in a fighting stance and the gem laying on the ground between you two. You lunge for it and the girl kicks out at you. You catch her foot and use it to flip her out of the way. You reach for the gem but the girl kicks it out of the way. The two of you engage in heated battle, missing Yong Guk and the other two guys present escaping with the gem. The girl suddenly runs away as blue and red lights flash outside the window. You try to escape but are grabbed by the police. You are sentenced to two years in prison.

---Two years later---

Ahjumma: “Yah! Stop right there!”

You are sprinting away from a food stand with a loaf of bread. You look behind you to see the Ajumma running after you, you smirk and turn down an alley and exit on the other side which is bustling with people. You run to an orphanage and give the bread to the children out in the yard. A nun walks over to you and smiles.

Nun: “(Y/N). Thank you so very much. We have been struggling so we have had to cut back.”

You bow and walk away. You pull a small blue book from your bag and open it up. Written inside it is a list of artifacts that have been “recovered” for museums. They belong to innocent families who have been searching for these pieces. You have been come a modern day Robin Hood for these families but there is one thing standing in your way and that is your ex-partner Yong Guk. He has been stealing the artifacts the two of you once swore to protect and selling them for money. You flip to the last page and see the picture of the jade/sapphire Buddha you put in there when you and Yong Guk first started your Robin Hood-like thievery. You start making plans to head to its location, a museum in Thailand. What you don’t know is that Yong Guk is making plans as well to steal the artifact.

---One month later---

You are in Thailand visiting the museum that holds the jade/sapphire Buddha. You notice the motion sensors and laser grid which surrounds the piece. You make a mental note of it all and turn to leave, hitting a broad object.

You: “Mianhaeyo.”

The object turns around and chuckles. You look up and come face to face with Yong Guk. You frown at seeing him.

You: “What are you doing here?”

BYG: “Probably the same thing that you are. I am here to steal a rare but valuable artifact.”

You scoff at the boy and walk away, missing his smirk and slight chuckle. You go home and prepare for the heist.

---Later that night---

You are dressed in your signature all black outfit. You drop from the glass dome roof and land lightly on the floor, you toss a small ball across the floor. It explodes and a white fog fills the room, causing the laser grid to become visible. You pull out your phone and disable the motion sensors. You attach a small device to it and activate it. The phone disintegrates almost instantaneously. You move through the laser with all the grace of a world-class gymnast. You use your decoder to unlock the code and retrieve the Buddha. You move through the lasers once again but run into Yong Guk on the other side.

BYG: “Thanks. You saved me from having to figure out all the mechanical stuff on my own.”

You: “I’m not giving this to you. I’m returning it the temple where it belongs.”

BYG: “*chuckles* I don’t see that happening.”

You throw a grenade-like bomb at Yong Guk’s feet and it explodes causing a thick purple-ish black smog to fill the room. When it dissipates, you are gone. Yong Guk spins around looking for you as you leap from rooftop to rooftop. You land on a quiet side street and remove the black leather outfit you have you to reveal simple jeans and a t-shirt. You walk out o to the busy street to your hotel and go to sleep.

---The next day---

You climb onto a bus and head to the biggest temple in Thailand. You sit with the monks and set the wrapped package on the floor. You unwrap it to reveal the Buddha. The monks thank you profusely and place the Buddha in its rightful place. You walk out of the temple and run into Yong Guk outside.

You: “What do you want?”

BYG: “*rubbing the back of his neck* I’m sorry. I thought if you stopped stealing we could have a chance.”

You: “Us? Have a chance? Maybe if you hadn’t betrayed me and sold me over to the police but no.”

BYG: “I said sorry. (Y/N), I really like you. I think I am actually in love with you.”

You: “You’ve got to be kidding me? After what you did to me did you really think I would feel the same way?”

BYG: “No but I wanted to at least have a chance.”

You walk away from the boy only to have your arm grabbed. You are whipped around and come face to face with Yong Guk who pulls you into a kiss. You struggle against the kiss before eventually giving in.

BYG: “Does this mean I’m forgiven?”

You: “I guess I could. You are a good kisser after all. And I think you may have stolen something else.”

Yong Guk looks at you confused.

You: “My heart.”

Yong Guk laughs heartily at your cheesiness and pulls you into another kiss.

BYG: “I’m glad I did, angel. I love you.”

You: “I love you too.”
