During class you saw that everyone kept giving you glances. Everyone had heard that you and Kai are now going out with eachother giving the whole school a shock. It seemed like Baekhyun and the others hadn’t found out of it yet since Baekhyun was being his usual self today, for now at least. You knew what was coming the next few weeks now that everyone knew you were going out with one of the schools kingkas. You could just imagine all the attention you’d get from now on. You couldn’t help but wonder though, how would the girls bully you? Would they go all K-drama style? Like locking you in somewhere or corner you in the bathroom and threaten to give you a new haircut? Ok, you’ve watched to many dramas with Lay and Youngjae.

 

 

Class had ended and everyone left the classroom in a hurry and so did you as usual. Once you exited the classroom, the familiar tall boy was standing outside leaning on the wall taking you by surprise.

He flashed a smile as he saw you. “Hey, Heesung!” He greeted and walked towards you. Oh, . You thought but greeted him back with a short nod with your head. In the corner of your eye you saw that a few of your classmates had stopped too watch what was going on, especially Hayoung and her two minions.

“H-Hey, Kai.” You awkwardly said and tightened your grip around your books.

“I was waiting for you.” He said and looked down at you with a smile. “I was wondering if you’d like to sit with me and my friends at lunch later?” He asked.

You imagined everyones stares if you’d walk into the cafeteria and sat down with them. How everyone would stop what they were doing just to stare. “Really?” You asked and your mouth fell.

He nodded. “Of course!”

“Sure…” You mumbled and he chuckled.

“Great! I’ll be waiting for you!” He gave you a swift one-arm hug before he walked down the hall. Your eyes followed him then you saw Hayoung with agape as she stared at you.

“What was that?” Baekhyun asked and came from behind you making you jump. You’d almost forgotten about him! You turned around and he had just come out of the classroom looking at you.

“Uhm. Kai was waiting for me…” You mumbled and his eyes slightly widened.

“Oh, really? Why?”

“Well…” You noticed that you were the only ones in the corridor now. “Remember when he asked me to go out with him?”

Baekhyuns breath hitched. “Yeah?” He said in a low voice.

“I… I said yes.” You muttered and looked down. Baekhyun gasped as his eyes widened. His grip on his books tightened.

“Y-You did?” His jaw clenched as you dared to look up. You slowly nodded and he turned away for a moment and breathed out from his nose before he looked at you again. “What did he say?”

“That I should sit with him and you guys at lunch later.”

Baekhyun nodded but didn’t say anything else. You felt slightly uncomfortable with the silence that developed.

“I’ll be going to my locker.” You said and hurried down the hall. Baekhyun didn’t say anything as you disappeared behind a corner, he didn’t even follow you. You were wondering why he was behaving so… Not like him when you told him that you said yes to Kai.

 

Baekhyun was left standing there for a while before he slowly turned and started walking to his lockers. He couldn’t believe that you’d said yes to Kai. When you did, he felt his mind stop for a moment and he didn’t know why. This means that Kais bet has just begun and he could just imagine what would happen once it was over. Kai would probably dump you in a harsh way and he didn’t want that. Maybe he felt bad because you’re his friend and he didn’t want you to get hurt. He even saw you as one of his good friends now even though you haven’t been friends for long. There was something about you that he liked but he didn’t know what. He felt his mood sink now that he’s found out that you’re going out with Kai. He could just imagine how Kai would trick you into developing feelings for him. He wondered though if you would be dumb enough to actually fall for it. But if you didn’t have feelings for him, you wouldn’t have said yes right? That thought made him uncomfortable.

 

 

Next class was geography. You were already seated and were just waiting for class to start. This is the class where Chanyeol is here as well but lately he’s been skipping it. Wonder why… A girl is probably more important than school for him and Kai it seems.

As the rest of the class entered the classroom Baekhyun hurried to his seat beside you. He greeted you with a smile but it didn’t reach his eyes. You wondered why he was acting so strange. You greeted you back with a short nod as he sat down.  

Chanyeol walked into the classroom and was greeted with the female students that sat in the front. He greeted them back with his well-known toothy grin before he turned and spotted his friend in the back of the classroom.

He was about to call out to Baekhyun but quickly stopped doing so. He noticed that his friend was to busy talking to his seatmate which happened to be you. He saw him smile and chuckle a few times as the two of you conversated about something. Not letting his eyes off the two of you he took a seat all the way back as well but on the otherside, closest to the door in the back.

You knew that Chanyeol had spotted the both of you and you tried to get Baekhyun to stop talking for the moment. You had to be careful now that Chanyeol was in the room since he isn’t supposed to know that you and Baekhyun are friends.

“Baekhyun, shut up for a moment.” You hissed and he immediately stopped talking and gave you a confused look. “Your friend is here.” You lightly cocked your head forward towards Chanyeol who sat on the other side of the room. “Remember, he’s not supposed to notice anything.” You reminded him and he nodded and slowly turned forward.

Baekhyun then turned towards Chanyeols direction and flashed a grin and got one back. The teacher hadn’t arrived yet so Baekhyun got up from his seat and walked towards his friend.

“Hey, dude!” Chanyeol greeted with a huge grin. Baekhyun greeted back and leaned on the wall behind Chanyeol. “What were you talking about with Heesung?” Chanyeol whispered to Baekhyun so the boy had to lean down to hear what he was saying.

“Oh, nothing.” Baekhyun lied and lightly shrugged. “Just asked if we had any homework, that’s all.” Chanyeol nodded before he raised an amused eyebrow.

“Ah, I see. Since she’s number one in school you’re taking advantage of her skills aren’t you?” Baekhyuns eyes slightly widened as he quickly glanced at you. Of course you heard their conversation, but kept your eyes out the window. “Smart move Baek!” He lightly nudged the boy with his elbow. Baekhyun nervously chuckled and nodded. ! Did she hear?

“By the way.” Chanyeol started but was quickly interrupted by the teacher walking in with heavy steps. Baekhyun hurried back to his seat and faced forward as the teacher began class.

 

 

Class ended and you quickly stood up to hurry out the door but someone quickly stopped you from doing so.

“Hey, Heesung wait!” A low voice called out and you stopped in you tracks and slowly turned around to the owner of the voice.

Chanyeol smiled as he got up from his seat with his hands in his pockets as he stood in front of you. “Kai told me you were going to sit with us at lunch!” He said and his smile didn’t move an inch. You didn’t say anything as you just stared at the tall boy in front of you through your lenses. Chanyeol awkwardly scratched at the back of his neck when he didn’t get a response.

“I can take her with me later.” Baekhyun said and came up behind you. Chanyeol looked at his friend and blinked. Baekhyun tried acting normal as he came up beside you. “Why don’t you go and tell the others we’ll come as soon as we return our books, ok?” He continued and smiled at his friend. Chanyeol stared at Baekhyun for a moment before he slowly nodded and walked out the door.

Baekhyun sighed out as he followed you out the door and once again, it was only the two of you in the hallway.

“I guess I’ll follow you to the cafeteria after you return your books.” He said and twisted his mouth.

“Sure.” And you began walking towards your locker with him right behind you.

 

 

It’s the first time you were walking these hallways with someone. You’ve always walked these hallways alone when no one else was around but now you had Baekhyun with you. The two of you didn’t say anything to eachother as you headed towards the cafeteria. The closer you got the louder the chatter became, then Baekhyun spoke up.

“I’m going to have to pretend I don’t know you…” He mumbled while he kept his eyes forward.

“Yes, you do.” You won’t know me anymore much longer.

As you entered the cafeteria doors Baekhyuns quickly led you towards a round table in a corner and you heard how the chattering in the room slowly began to silence.

The rest of the boys looked up once Baekhyun lightly slapped D.Os back when you arrived. Kai beamed as he saw you and he quickly got out from his seat to embrace you in a hug, which surprised you.

“Hey! Sit beside me!” He said and pulled out an empty chair next to his seat. You awkwardly sat down and immediately switched to your acting mode. “These are my friends.” He said as he took his seat and made a gesture towards everyone around the table.

Mumbling had begun in the cafeteria once you sat down beside Kai. No one could ever get a seat with these boys, ever. Not even the girls Kai or Chanyeol ever dated in the school. Yet there you were, sitting with the schools kingkas. You could just imagine all the you’re going to get from this later on. This felt so weird since you felt a déjà vu moment right here. You remembered that time you bumped into them in the mall and you sat with them in a café. But the feeling in the air was so much different and you were another person for the moment.

“Why don’t you introduce yourselves to my girlfriend.” Kai emphasized the word ‘girlfriend’ to proudly. You noticed how Baekhyun and D.O gulped and how Suho quickly glanced at you. Sehun was just staring at his plate in front of him. Chanyeol was the first on to speak with his usual toothy grin.

“I’m Chanyeol.” He said. “We’re in the same geography class!” No, really? You rolled your eyes behind your lenses but gave him a short nod with your head.

“Call me Suho.” Suho flashed a smile at you, but his smile just looked apologetic. You gave him a short nod as well.

“You can call me D.O.” D.O tried not to look at you, you saw him gulp as he kept his eyes on his lap.

“You know me already.” Baekhyun said and gave you a short nod.

Lastly, Sehun hesitantly looked up and gave you a small smile. “Th-Thehun.” He said in a quiet voice before he quickly turned his eyes to his plate again.

You saw Kai frown in the corner of your eye. He wasn’t probably pleased with how they were acting. How can you blame them? It seemed like they were trying their best to act as if they don’t know you.

Kai quickly turned you with a smile. “Why don’t you introduce yourself?” He whispered and you felt his breath hit your neck and you tried not to shudder.

“Heesung.” You mumbled and looked down.

“You don’t talk much do you?” Chanyeol asked and blinked at you. You quickly shook your head as you made a blush appear on your cheeks by thinking of an embarrassing memory again.

Baekhyun almost gasped as he saw the tint of pink spread on your cheeks. He’s never seen you blush before. Or even embarrassed! You were always radiating this strong and powerful aura, sometimes a scary one if he had to add. He stared at you as your blush took him by surprise. Him and Sehun even exchanged surprised glances.

Kai chuckled as he mumbled. “Cute.” To your ear and you almost frowned.

“A-Aren’t you going to go get something to eat?” Baekhyun asked and tried hiding his stutter, still a bit surprised of your blush.

Kai looked at the boy before he turned to you with a questioning look. You quickly shook your head again. “N-No, I’m not hungry…” You said and Baekhyun was taken a back once again. You just stuttered and he couldn’t help but. Somehow find it cute.

“Are you sure?” Kai asked and leaned closer to you, your shoulders touching. You nodded and looked down at your lap where you had your fingers intertwined with eachother.

Baekhyun nodded and slowly got up to go and get food. The others had slowly started eating and you noticed that people had started chattering again. But you didn’t miss the glances a few gave you from other tables. You even heard your name being said followed with laughter from a few tables here and there.

Once Baekhyun came back, Kai tried starting a conversation between all of you. Chanyeol was the only one that talked the most. The other four replied with mumbling or just nodding their heads and you saw Kai frown a few times in the corner of your eye. You just wanted to get this day over and done with as you started getting bored by sitting with them.

Kai finished his food and pushed the plate away from him so he could lean his elbow on the table and turn to you. “So are you free this weekend?” He asked and smiled.

Baekhyun looked up from his plate while chewing. You remembered telling Baekhyun that you’d go to his place and help him study and he wondered him self if you’d remembered that. Without looking down at his plate he picked up a piece of meat with his fork as he stared at you, wondering what you’d answer.

“I-I…” You stuttered acting all shy. “No, i’m not.” You said quietly making Kai widen his eyes. Baekhyun widened his eyes as well, feeling slightly victorious inside. Did you remember that you had plans with him? Even Suho looked up from his plate and looked at the two of you.

“Oh.” Kai muttered looked down for a moment feeling a bit disappointed before looking at you again. “Why not?”

“I’m going to help a friend with something.” You said, not actually lying. Baekhyun felt that he had just made eye contact with you through your lenses after you said that. He felt a jump of happiness in him, and he knew that you were talking about him. Kai raised his eyebrows; probably amused by the fact that you said ‘friend’ and he probably didn’t think you had any. Well boy, please.

HAH, GET THAT KAI. Baekhyun mentally danced in his head as he continued eating. Even Chanyeol was taken by shock when you had just rejected Kai.

“Can’t your friend get help from someone else?” He asked and tried his best not to frown. Baekhyun looked up once more and waited for your response.

You slowly shook your head as you started fiddling with your fingers on your lap. “I promised.” You mumbled and he nodded then straightened himself.

Baekhyun couldn’t help but feel a hint of victory in him after you said that you promised. He was planning to buy you lots of cheese chips this weekend just because of that. Kai sighed out before he turned to you again.

“Well, then. Do you promise to spend time with me after school sometime next week?” He asked and smiled a loop sided smile.

Your mouth fell as you pretended to think of something to say. HELL NO. “Uhm… S-Sure.” You said and a small smile played on your lips and Kais smile widened.

It seemed like your little smile took the four boys by surprise. Baekhyun stared at you and froze in his movement right before he was going to put another piece of meat in his mouth. D.O looked at you with his eyes wide, Suho couldn’t help but let a smile escape his lips as if he was responding your smile. The maknae quickly exchanged glances with Baekhyun as they both stared at you.

 

 

Once everyone had finished their food they all stood up and Kai gestured for you to stand up as well. A few students had already left the cafeteria a while ago but those who were left stared as they watched the boys leave their trays by the dish rack. As all of you headed towards the door Kai swiftly wrapped his arm around your waist taking you by surprise with his spontanius skinship once again.

You jumped a bit when he did so making him chuckle in amusement. Chanyeol turned back with a huge grin as you all left the cafeteria and just walked down a random hallway.

Kai was amazed at how slim your waist felt under that baggy sweater; it even felt you like you had some muscle going on there. It even gave him a hit of déjà vu moment but he quickly ignored that thought. He didn’t understand why he got the feeling of déjà vu all of a sudden.

All of you suddenly stopped in the middle of the hallway and you noticed that you guys were alone.

Chanyeol leaned on the wall then grinned. “So what’s everyone up too after school?” He asked trying to start a conversation going.

“Study.” Suho quickly answered and D.O said the same thing as him.

“Uh… I promithe to help my mother.” Sehun gulped.

Chanyeol then turned to Baekhyun who widened his eyes. “Well. I have to. Study as well.” He scratched the back of his head. “Still a lot to catch up with.” You noticed that all of them were lying.

Chanyeol groaned and turned to Kai. “It seems like it’s only you and I buddy.” He said and Kai pulled you closer to him making you gasp as your shoulder collided with his side, another wave of déjà vu hitting him.

“It seems so.” He agreed.

“So it’s free period now right?” Chanyeol asked and Suho nodded. Chanyeol then turned to Kai once again. “Wanna go?” A mischevious grin spread on his lips.

“Go where?” You asked and looked up at Kai. Kai grinned and looked down.

“Promise you won’t tell?” He asked and you slowly nodded. Kai smiled in approval. “Chanyeol and I usually sneak out of school and head to town.” Oh this is new. You thought as you made sure you’d remember this information.

“Oh.” You said quietly and nodded. “So you’re going now?” You asked and looked up again. Kai squeezed your waist gently making you want to hit him.

“I don’t need to go if you don’t want me too.” He said. Oh, so dramatic Kai. Chanyeol made a disgusted noise and frowned at the two of you.

“Oh, please!” He said but quickly chuckled as Kai lightly slapped him on his shoulder chuckling as well.

You slowly got out of Kais arm and slowly shook your head. “I-I, don’t mind.” You muttered and Kai raised his eyebrows. “You guys can go…”

“Really?” He asked, surprised. When he’d say that to another girls they’d always beg him to stay. You nodded and he grinned as well as Chanyeol. He quickly embraced you in a hug and Chanyeol lightly patted you on the shoulder once Kai let you go.

“I’ll see you guys later then?” He asked as he walked backwards down the hall. You gave him a small wave and he returned it before he turned around and quickly disappeared with Chanyeol behind a corner. You were now left alone with the other four so you turned around and faced them.

Baekhyun had a sly grin on making you raise an eyebrow. “What?” You asked curious to why he looked like that.

“You rejected Kai.” He said almost too happily. Even Suho looked at him with a weird expression. Baekhyun almost skipped towards you until he was standing right next to you. He still had that grin on his face as he looked down at you.

“Yes, so?”

“You said that you promised a friend.” He emphasized that word ‘friend’ and his grin widened. He just had to express his happiness right now.

“Yes… So?” You furrowed your eyebrows and even took a step away from him.

“Hyung, are you ok?” Sehun asked and eyed his hyung from top to toe.

Baekhyun ignored him for the moment. “And that friend was me.” He grinned his voice like a childs.

You didn’t say anything, which Baekhyun assumed, was a yes. He grinned and cheered as he literally jumped up and down. Now his friends were staring at him as if he was crazy, which he was for the moment.

 “And why are you so happy about that?” D.O asked, still looking at his friend weirdly.

“I don’t know!” Baekhyun said still with the grin on his face. You mentally face palmed. Baekhyun seriously didn’t know why he was so happy he just felt really happy and energetic at the moment.

“Idiot.” You muttered and shook your head, luckily no one heard you.

“So you’re going to study at Baekhyuns this weekend?” Suho asked and looked at you and you nodded. Sehun immediately smiled.

“I want to follow!” He said and skipped towards your side. Baekhyun froze for a moment and gaped at the boy.

“But-“ He started but got interrupted by the other two.

“Mind if we follow as well?” D.O asked and smiled as he placed his hands in his pockets. Suho nodded beside him with a smile on his face. Baekhyun looked at his friends with his mouths open before he turned to you. If he had to admit, he didn’t want anyone else to follow. He wanted to be alone with you, the thing was. He didn’t know why though.

You tilted your head as you looked back at Baekhyun. “I don’t see why not?” You said and Baekhyun gasped.

“But- I-“ He started and looked like a goldfish. He was waving his hands around in front of his body as he looked at all of you.

“You what Baekhyun?” You asked. He closed his mouth and straightened himself. He slowly shook his head and took a deep breath.

“Nothing.” He breathed out. Suho raised his eyebrow at his friend in confusion.

“So what do we do now?” D.O asked and exchanged glances with everyone. “It’s free period and everyone is probably studying.”

It was silent for a moment before you spoke up. “Library?” You suggested and everyone turned to you.

“Sure.” Suho nodded and smiled. “Who’s getting the snacks this time?” He then asked and looked around.

Sehun shook his head and said that he was broke; D.O said that he didn’t have money while Baekhyun forgot his wallet at home. Suho sighed before he looked at you.

“It’s rude to let a girl pay.” He stated and Baekhyun remembered that you were the on that bought the snacks the first time you tutored him. Then the sandwich from yesterday he remembered as well.

You tried not to smile at Suho after he said that. He actually was a gentleman and it made you stifle a smile.

“It’s ok.” You said and shook your head. Suho raised his eyebrow while D.O turned to you with wide eyes. “You guys are probably going to get hungry anyway.”

“You sure?” Baekhyun asked and blinked. You nodded.

“The school cafeteria might have something.” You said. Once lunch was over the ladies that worked in the kitchen would take away the food and bring out some snacks and small pastries together with beverage. Most of the students would just buy from the vending machines since the cafeteria was much more expensive.

“I heard that it’th pretty ethpenthive.” Sehun mumbled and looked down at you while you shrugged.

 

 

 

You were sitting on your usual table in the library while the boys stood around the table.

“Are you sure?” Suho asked and it didn’t feel well that you were going to be the one spending for the snacks, especially from the school cafeteria. You nodded as you placed your hand in your skirt pocket.

“Noona, you don’t have too.” Sehun said quietly as he waved his hand in front of him. You looked up at Suho and told him too stretch out his palm towards you. He confusedly did as you told him and you held your fist above his palm.

“Now. You listen to me, ok?” You said and the three boys nodded. “You buy whatever you want, ok?”

D.O was about to protest but quickly shut his mouth as he felt your eyes on him. A shudder went down his spine as he took a step back and slowly nodded.

“Suho, don’t open your fist until you’re about to pay ok?”

Suho furrowed his eyebrows, still confused. “But how do I know, It’s going to be enough?” He asked and you tried not to chuckle.

“Oh, it will. Do you promise?”

He slowly nodded and you slapped the bill in his palm and he immediately closed it. You leaned back in your seat and crossed your arms. “I’ll know if you’ve opened your fist.” You commented and Suho unconsciously tightened his fist.

“A-Anything you want?” Baekhyun asked. He felt a slight change in the air after you handed Suho the money.

“No thank you.” You answered. “You better go now.” And with that the three boys hurried and disappeared behind the shelves.

 

 

As they walked down the empty hall towards the cafeteria Suhos fist started to tremble.

“How much do you think she gave us?” D.O asked in a whisper, no idea why he was whisper.

“It feels like one bill.” Suho whispered back. They didn’t know why they were whispering.

“It can’t be that much… Right?” Sehun leaned closer towards his hyung. Suho shrugged and they approached the cafeteria.

“But it feels much.” He said as they entered the big room. There were only a few students sitting scattered on a few tables studying. They were the ones that usually bought from here, the ones who had the money to even spend in the cafeteria regularly.

They walked towards the long table where all the snacks were sorted. They gaped, as they looked at all the snacks that they saw. It was like the content of the vending machines multiplied by five and even more stuff were added. One of the lunch ladies that worked in the cafeteria walked up from the other side of the table with a smile.

“What would you like boys?” She asked and looked at all of them.

Suho gave her a smile back.”Uh, we’re just looking first.” He said and she nodded.

“I’ll be standing by the cashier if you need help.” She said and walked towards the end of the table.

 

 

“Hyung!” Sehun exclaimed and pointed to a box on the table. Suho walked towards the maknae who had walked towards the other end of the table. He looked at what Sehun found and he too, gasped.

“Chocopieth!” Sehun smiled and picked up the box of chocopies. He then flipped it around and the two stiffened once they saw the price. Sehun glanced at his hyung before he slowly put the box back down on the table.

“Well… She did say that we could get whatever we wanted…” Suho mumbled as he stared at the box of chocopie.

Sehun didn’t say anything back but D.O suddenly called. “Hey, guys! They sell ramyun here!” He said and waved a cup in the air. The two made their way towards him.

The lady appeared again with a smile. “Of course! If you buy it, we’ll make it for you right here!” She said and D.O raised his eyebrows surprised. The lady smiled again before heading back to the cash register.

“Heesung, hasn’t eaten anything.” Baekhyun said and took the cup out of D.Os hands. They all widened their eyes.

“Oh, right.” Suho said then turned his attention towards the different types of ramyun. “But what would she like?” His question remained unanswered for a while, as the boys didn’t say anything. Even Baekhyun didn’t know what type of ramyun you liked. He didn’t even remember the ones he bought the first time you came to his place.

“How about… We come back to this after we looked for what we want?” D.O suggested and everyone immediately agreed before they spread in front of the table.

Baekhyun took out his phone and dialed your number and you immediately answered as you felt it vibrate in your pocket.

“Hello?” You said and Baekhyun turned around and saw D.O looking at him.

“Yeah, uh…” He started and walked back to the ramyun cups. “What kind of ramyun do you like?” He asked. So they were planning to buy something for you even though you said that you didn’t want anything.

“Hm.” You said and thought about it. “Something spicy. Pork or Chicken.” You said and Baekhyun nodded as he looked at the labels on top of the cups.

“Ok! See you soon!” He said and hung up then put his phone back in his pocket.

“What did she say?” D.O asked and Baekhyun furrowed his eyebrows.

“Something spicy. Pork och chicken.” D.O nodded then looked at the labels as well.

 

 

 

Sehun hesitantly took the box of chocopies and Suho gulped as he did so. Suho took a bag of shrimp chips for himself before he continued looking around for something else.

After a while they all gathered together and checked what everyone got. Sehun got a box of chocopies and Hello Panda together with a bottle of water. Suho got a bag of shrimp chips together with other bag of chips and a bottle of water as well. It was a bit hard for him to hold everything though since his fist was still closed around the bill you gave him. D.O got a few boxes of pocky and small bags of biscuits with a bottle of coke. Baekhyun was holding onto a cup of spicy pork flavoured ramyun and cheesed flavoured snacks and chips. They were mostly for you though. For himself he got a few bags of chips and a bottle of coke.

“I think this is enough…” Suho said as he eyed what everyone was holding. They all nodded and headed for the cashier. The lady beamed as they all started placing their food on the small space beside the cash register and the lady began bleeping them off.

When she was done bleeping everything she looked up. “Will there be anything else?” She asked and Sehun quickly ran and got a small bag of cookies and gave it to her. She bleeped it with a smile and asked if there was anything else.

The boys all looked at eachother before Suho shook his head. A small screen was in front of the cash register and green numbers appeard on it.

40,200 won. It said on the screen and the boys gulped. They still didn’t know how much had given them. The lady raised her eyebrows. “That’s not much.” She commented and looked at the boys. “You sure you guys don’t want anything else?” She asked and made a gesture towards the long table. All the boys were thinking the same thing.

HOW IS THAT NOT MUCH?

“N-No, thank you.” Suho said and shook his head politely. The lady raised her eyebrow.

“Sure?” They all nodded and she shrugged and started pressing buttons on the cash register. “That’ll be forty thousand and two hundred won please.” She said and smiled. D.O pushed Suho forward and he gulped before he slowly handed the bill to the lady. He didn’t even look at how much it was since he thought that it wouldn’t be enough.

They all turned to her and their eyes widened. You gave them a 50 000 won bill.

With a smile the lady placed in the drawer and handed Suho the change. She took the ramyun cup and disappeared into the kitchen to make it.

“How will we repay her?” D.O whispered, still surprised at the amount of money you had given them.

“I don’t know…” Suho answered as he eyed all their snacks that laid on the other side of the cash register.

Five minutes later the lady came out with the cup steaming hot. She had a piece of cardboard, the ones you get if you order a hot drink at a coffee shop, around the cup as she came out. She placed it on the table in front of Baekhyun as she began packing their snacks into plastic bags. She all handed them the plastic bags and gave Baekhyun the small plastic fork that followed with the ramyun cup. Baekhyun smiled at her as he took the cup with both hands after he placed the fork in his pocket, they all then began walking back to the library.

 

 

 

“That took a while.” You commented once they came around the corner of the shelf. You turned to them and Baekhyun quickly put the still steaming hot cup of ramyun in front of you.

“Why thank you.” You said and Baekhyun placed the fork beside the cup as he took the seat beside you. D.O had once again gotten a chair from another table and sat by the end.

“You had quite a lot there.” Suho mumbled as he sat down in front of you and they all started unpacking the bags.

“Keep the change.” You said when you saw Suho reach into his pocket. He nodded and placed his hands in front of him on the table instead.

They all placed what they had chosen in front of them selves. Baekhyun slowly started sliding cheese flavours chips and snacks towards you. “For you.” He mumbled.

“How can we repay you?” Suho asked and you started to mix your ramyun.

“Just think of it as a reward for trying hard to pretend you didn’t know me back then.”

He nodded and ripped his bag of shrimp chips open. Sehun had excitedly opened his box of chocopie and got one out.

 

 

 

“So you’re going out with Kai next week?” Suho asked and you faked a blush and nodded.

“I guess…” This was the hard part with the whole thing. You had to switch your acting on and off all the time.

He slowly nodded as well. “You really like him?” Baekhyun looked at his hyung with a look of disbelief. You shrugged and tried keeping the blush on your cheeks on.

“I mean… I don’t know him that well.”

“You’re not wondering why he suddenly asked you out?” D.O asked and suddenly grunted when Baekhyun had kicked his shin under the table. Baekhyun frowned at his friend while you just looked at them.

Baekhyun then chuckled nervously and changed the subject. “So!” He clasped his hands together. “What are we going to tell Kai and Chanyeol about this weekend? Incase they ask us to hag out or something.”

Baekhyun flet uneasy everytime they talked about Kai with Heesung. He didn’t know why but he didn’t like it one bit. He hated the fact that you kept blushing everytime someone mentioned his name.

“Oh, right.” D.O was slightly bent down as he kept rubbing his shin where Baekhyun had kicked him.

“How about…” Sehun swallowed his cookie. “We thay that we’re jutht going to thtudy?”

Suho nodded and agreed. “They usually believe us anyway.”

They all agreed on using that excuse once again. Kai and Chanyeol always believed them when they said they had to study.

“Noona.” Sehun said and you turned to him. He held his hand out with a smile and you looked at the chocopie in his hand. “For you.”

“Really?”

He nodded and you accepted without any further questions and he smiled when you did so. “Thank you.” You said and placed it next to your bag of chips that Baekhyun had chosen for you.
