Seoul- a few days back (During Taec and Fany’s second day in Bali)....

“Welcome back, sir.” MinJae said as he took the coat and luggage from his boss.

“Did anything important happen while I was away?” JinYoung asked as he got in the white sedan.

“Nothing much sir, the young masters have done a great job while you were away. But we can’t seem to contact young master TaecYeon.” The secretary answered.

“Huh? Why? Where did he go? How about his friends?”

“We contacted them and they also don’t know where he is. But it seems that he is with Miss Tiffany and they took the private plane with them. He took a week leave of absence two days ago.”

“What? One week? Isn’t he too much?” he expressed his anger as he dialled Khun’s number. “Khun, do you know where TaecYeon is? How could he leave work just like that?”

“Sorry Uncle, I also don’t know where he is. But I think he really needed a time off. He’s not an irresponsible person, he must have had his reasons. And for what I know, he is with Fany. The truth is something happened to Fany a few days back and Taec is the only one who knows what exactly happened. I guess he took Fany on a vacation to comfort her.” Khun explained. “Uncle, I gotta go, business matters sorry.” And he hanged up.

“Aish, kids these days. He didn’t even allow me to speak for a second. And what did he mean by business matters? It’s Saturday, their office is not open on weekends. What business was he talking about? He’s really like his father, don’t even know how to lie a single bit.”

JinYoung went back to the mansion and went straight to his sister. “Noona, do you know where in the world is your son? How can he leave the office for a week without even telling me way beforehand?”

“JinYoung-ah, I know my son. He does not do things which he doesn’t feel he needs to do. He’s a responsible person. Maybe he’s just in a lot of stress and wanted a vacation. And from what I heard, he’s with Fany. So everything would be fine.” Taec’s mom assured her brother.

Another day passed by and he tried if he can already contact his nephew, but the mobile was still turned off. He tried checking with Khun and WooYoung and was surprised to find out that the two’s mobiles were also turned off. Just then, he received news from his secretary that his sons, his other nephew and his employees also left for a vacation. He contacted them but also did not get any answer. He thought that maybe the kids just had a one-day vacation and will be back later that night or on Monday morning. Hence, he let this thing pass and spent his Sunday in the gym, mall and studio. He did not know that something unfavourable to them will happen the next day.

“Yeobuseyo?” JinYoung answered his phone with a sleepy voice.

“Sir, you need to come to the office fast! Something bad happened here.” MinJae panicked.

“What? Tell me exactly what happened.” He ordered as his eyes grew bigger upon hearing the word ’bad’

“Sir, you may try opening the television and switching it to a news channel, or a newspaper. The headlines are all about our company, and also JYPE.” He uttered back.
