The two continued enjoying their stay at the beautiful island of Bali on their second day. They tried parasailing, riding the jetski, banana boat and surf boards, and snorkelling near the resort they are in. Both of them even rode on Bali Island horses and toured the entire coastline. They really enjoyed the trip as they were able to release their stresses and forget about the past.

During their trip, they were also able to talk about the rumours in Taec’s office, and he told her why she was involved in the issue. They also reminisced moments of their childhood days.

“Oppa, remember when we were kids, I tripped over a rock when we were playing in school. The other oppas and unnies said to just leave me on the benches and told you to continue playing with them since the wound was only small. You yelled at them and refused to play with them since then. Even though I was fat and you looked undernourished, you still carried me on your back and brought me to the clinic. You held my hand while the nurse put bandage on my wound. I said that the bandage looked ugly so you used a permanent marker and drew a cat on it. The oppas and unnies apologized to you and you forgave them but told them that you would not play with them anymore. After that incident, we met Khun oppa, and WooYoung oppa. You became best buddies since then and I gained two more guardian angels. Do you know how I felt before? I felt really blessed to have met you. If I was not your friend, I might have been bullied by the other kids because I was fat. Meeting you really changed my life. I don’t know what I would have done if I haven’t met you as early as then.”

Taec just listened and hugged Fany as his eyes became slightly teary. He held back his tears since he didn’t want to show Fany another weak image.

“I know. You should be thankful for having me and having our friends.” he replied jokingly in order to change the mood. After having their heart to heart talk, the two looked for a place to eat.

While enjoying their abundant seafood dinner, they heard guitar music and a man singing a Korean song. They looked back and saw the man. They both admired the song the man was singing, especially Fany. She felt that the song was definitely referring to her.

Seeing that the two were enjoying his song, the man approached them and sang in front of the two. When he finished his song, he asked if the two were also Koreans and the two happily nodded. He introduced himself in the name of Lee Jong Hyun. He is a member of a Korean indie band in Bali. After having a short conversation, the three became friends and he sang another song requested by the couple.
