While Yumi were taking a shower, after Yoochun had returned with some stuff he managed to bought for her, All of us gathered in the livingroom in the president suite, trying to understand the situation that had happened to us. We had quickly showered up and changed our clothes and we decided also to go back to the woods later on just to see that everything was cleaned up. 

"It's... amazing" Yoochun whispered

"I still don't understand how she can be alive.." I mumbled thoughtfully

"Who cares? She's alive, that's the most important thing!!" Changmin said happily as he looked towards the bathroom direction where she was showering

"She was staked. A human wouldn't survive that" Kibum said

"But she was staked right under her chest, nowhere near her heart or lungs. The heart was still beating but I think when she drifted off into unconsciousness we thought she died and because of the feelings that we felt at that moment, we weren't attentive enough to know she was still alive" Yoochun said

"But a human who has been unconscious for so long would have drifted off into coma and would have internal injuries" Junsu said

"True but vampire blood is still healing no matter what kind of situation and condition the human are in" Yoochun said

"Kibum.. you accidentally had some blood of yours drip into earlier?" I asked

He nodded

"A few drops at first and then a little bit more. I didn't know it managed to get inside and somehow making its way into her body and system" Kibum said, still confused

"And maybe Yuri made a mistake" Yunho said

All of us turned to him as he was sitting on the armchair, his arms folded as he stared blankly ahead

"She was furious, filled with anger and frustration and knowing that she might be able to fulfill her task for the night, I think she didn't realize that she staked her deeply enough" Yunho said

"You think?" I asked

"Impossible.. we all saw it right?" Changmin said

"But we weren't attentive enough and we didn't hear her heart beating and we just took it for granted that she died" Yoochun said

"But she didn't breathe. I heard her last breath" I mumbled

"Yes you might heard her last breath but what about after that?" Yoochun asked

Yunho was silent as we all turned to him cause he was the one who carried her

"I didn't pay attention" He confessed

"But she's still human.. isn't she?" I asked again, just to hear the guys assure me

All of them nodded

"Her heart is beating" Changmin said

"You want her to become a vampire?" Kibum asked

I shook my head

"That.. is not my choice to make but as for the answer to your question, I still hold onto no" I whispered and stood up, walking towards the direction to the bedroom. 

I knocked on the door 3 times and for some reason I was nervous. Nervous that she might be gone and that all of this was a dream but when she appeared in front of me, her cheeks colorful and somewhat rosy after the shower and the scent of the schampoo hit me, I knew I wasn't dreaming

She let me in without a word and I closed the door as I slowly walked after her. Her hair was dry and she sat down on the bed and looked at me, waiting for me

"You're.. feeling okay?"

She nodded

"I feel.. completely normal. I saw.. my wound where she staked me earlier but.. it healed, only my bloodstains were left" She whispered

"You're still.. frightened.. aren't you?" I asked and caressed her cheek

"Can you blame me for not being?" She asked sadly

I took a deep breath and pulled her towards me and as I hugged her from the back, while leaning against the pillows, she cuddled herself closer to me

"I thought you were going to die" She whispered

"I'm alive. You died"

Silence took over. 

I swallowed hard, wondering what she was thinking at the moment. She did disappear which caused all of us to mourn and building up the strength that we didn't have earlier and now she was here and she was safe. 

"Kibum saved me" She whispered

"I know"

"I owe him"

"I owe him Yumi. Not you"

She released herself from my embrace and spun around to face me

"Do you have any answers to my questions?" She asked

"I assume it's about how you can still be alive..?" I asked slowly

She nodded

"I felt it, the pain, how she ripped it all open, my skin and my nerves, my organs and how it just went through me"

I looked at her, her confused expression and her confused eyes

"We are still talking about it. Yoochun believes that Yuri was so busy with her feelings, that it was all too overwhelming that she didn't manage to stake you deeply enough to die. Your heart were still beating when Yunho too you away from the battlefield" I said

"But I would still be dead because humans.."

"I know I know. I've thought all about it. And so did the other guys. But our blood.. is supernatural, beyond all human things and functions.." I said

She nodded

I sat up and her face was closer to me now. I leaned my forehead against hers, taking a deep breath while closing my eyes

"I thought I lost you" 

I felt every part of my body tremble, remembering the moments of pain and anger after I had thought she died, left this world without me. 

"But you didn't"

"I did.. for a brief moment"

We intertwined our fingers, the warmth from her fingers spreading allover me. I was drowning in her touch

"But I'm right here"

"I would have staked myself to come with you" I mumbled

She shook her head, let go of my hands and took a hold of my face

"You can't.. do that. Think like that.. or anything like that. You would have moved on"

I smiled at her as I took her hands away from my face and kissed her palm

"I've already lived Yumi. For 300 years I've been living and waiting another 300 years just to find another reason to live again? 300 Years.. is a very.. very long time. I don't think I'd be able to endure that"

She didn't say anything but I knew that she knew what I was feeling

"I've lived long enough to know where I should take my life to an end"

"It doesn't.. justify your decision to die"

"But I'm already dead Yumi. That's where you keep forgetting about me"

She shook her head

"How can you be so alive.. to me.. but to yourself you keep saying that you're dead?" She whispered

"I know what I am. I know what I'm capable of and I know what I want. I've lived long enough to understand my needs, how I work. I don't think you have. I'm glad you are given a second chance to be able to do that" 

She swallowed hard

"With you right?"

I nodded

"As long as you want me"

I then pulled her close and embraced her lips with my own, lips that I thought I would never be able to feel again. And here I was, feeling the warmth of it, the movement and the tenderness of her. I wasn't going to take anything for granted anymore. She was here now and that was all that mattered for the time being..
