Hey Guys. Just wanted to remind u that I'm usin the vampire diaries basic about vampires since it's too hard to come up with new things on how they turn and how they are able to show themselves in sunlight, yadiyada.

Also.. I wouldn't mind having a few comments.. Feedback.. is pretty important to me..

I swallowed hard as I cuddled myself up in the couch, waiting for my questions to pop out but none appeared. I wasn't really prepared for this cause earlier today, I had thousands of questions and now, I had none.

"You're quiet.." Changmin mumbled

"Yes I am.. because I'm taken aback. How is it possible that.. va..mpires exist? How can a myth.. a folkstale exist that was only created to scare people?" I mumbled

"We've been asking ourselves the same question for many years Yumi and there is still no answer to that. All we know is that there is another world existing other than the human world" Yoochun said thoughtfully

"Another world?" I stuttered

"Yes" Yoochun nodded

"What do you mean? Like.. there are creatures.. people like in movies and such? Supernatural ones?" I asked

"Yes" Junsu answered

I pulled my hair back as I took a deep breath. I can't believe this

"This might be too much for you to handle but.. you wanted the truth and that is what we're planning on giving you. Everything that you've known, believed existing.. that's not the only things in the world anymore. There's a another world as well that humans doesn't know about" Changmin said

"And not only is it dangerous to you only but to us as well" Yunho said

"Dangerous to you? How?" I asked

"Vampires.. are similar to an animal. And we know that all animals has an enemy. A natural enemy that is a part of our nature. Just like a fox and a rabbit" Yunho explained

"Oh.." I mumbled

My eyes soon landed on JaeJoong who was staring blankly ahead. It looked like he was staring at me but in reality he wasn't. He was just spacing out

"Werewolves" Changmin mumbled

My eyes widened

"They exist?" I breathed

"Most of them are extinct" Yoochun shrugged

"We haven't met any and that's good. We've been lucky" Yunho said

I was so shocked that I was at loss with words. I didn't know what to say or to do at the moment. Well there wasn't much I could do but.. yeah you get the point. I was frozen

Suddenly a blanket was wrapped around me and I looked up to see JaeJoong tucking me in. When he was finished he stepped back and sat down on a chair he had somehow gotten himself without me noticing

"Any questions that you want to ask?" JaeJoong asked

"How are you ... able to.. walk in the middle of the day?" I asked

The guys chuckled, even a smile could be seen from JaeJoong as well, he who had been so quiet for a long time ever since we started this conversation

"A witch put a spell on different accessories that we picked out and she is also the only one who can break it. In sunlight.. we will burn to death and there is nothing we can do about it" Yunho said

"Accessories?" I asked

Junsu pointed at his earring while Yunho showed me his necklace. Yoochun also had a necklace and Changmin had a bracelet. There was different items and objects on every single one of them, as far as I could tell. I then looked at JaeJoong who showed me his hand. His ring was his protection, a silver one

"So if you take that off, you'll die?" I asked and looked at them

"Only in daylight" Junsu said

"What about.. garlic and all those stuff? Holy water?" I asked

Junsu and Changmin burst out into laughter while Yunho smiled at me and Yoochun grinned widely

"We can drink holy water and garlic is good for your skin" Yoochun replied

"So you can eat?" I asked

"We don't need to" JaeJoong answered

I swallowed hard. I knew that the next question were going to be about blood and I knew that this was unavoidable

"In order to survive, we need blood. That's what our true nature is. We need blood in order to function. We feed on animal blood and try to not drink human blood. But we need some human blood as well since that makes us much more stronger than animal blood. Animal blood keeps us alive but it hasn't the same effect and functionality as human blood does" JaeJoong said

I swallowed hard

"Do you drink human blood?" I asked

My eyes was still on JaeJoong and he was looking at the floor when he answered me.

"We do. Donated blood that we had managed to get from the hospital. We drink it only when it's necessary" JaeJoong said

I swallowed hard

"But that blood is needed for people who has lost blood and cannot produce it themselves" I mumbled

"Yes we know that.. But we have no other choice. We donate a lot for the hospital so we see that as a payment thing" Yoochun said

I nodded. Well at least the hospital would need the money.

"Is there something.. that.. is poisoned to you? Crucifix is not so effective but is there anything else?" I asked

"There's this herb.. Vervain. If you put it on a vampire, he would immediately start to scream. It would leave a scar. A burning one. But it'll disappear in the meantime but it hurts. A lot. If you want to get a chance to get away from a vampire, You'll need vervain. Not a lot of vampires knows about this since some of them haven't lived for that long" Yunho explained

"I see" I mumbled

"That is why we're giving you .. this" Changmin said

He took something from behind his back and there was a package, a small one and when I opened it I saw the herb that was called vervain.

"It's good to have it.. Just in case" Changmin smiled

"I'm not going.. to use it against you!" I said shocked and stared at them, shocked by their assumption of me wanting to hurt them

"We know that Yumi. But even vampires has a hard time to control themselves if there's blood anywhere near us. Carry some of it, always, wherever you go. It might come in handy, you'll never know" Junsu smiled

I swallowed hard

"How do you.. kill a vampire?" I asked

"A stake through the heart. We will then stop moving, fall down and our body will shrink as if we have been dead for several years. Our eyes will cry blood and that's when we're dead. After that, burn us" JaeJoong answered

His straightforward answer kind of scared me a bit and I soon figured out that there was just something with JaeJoong that I couldn't put my finger on.

"You have an eternal life" I stated

"A cursed one yes" JaeJoong replied and looked at me for the first time ever since we started to talk

"We didn't ask for this" Yoochun said

"Ask for this? You mean there is a possibility of choosing if you want to become one or not?" I asked

"Yes" Yunho said

"How?"

"By drinking vampire blood. Having it in your system, can turn you into a vampire. But first of all, you have to die while having it in your system. Then you'll wake up and that is also when you have a choice. To complete your transition into a vampire, you need to drink human blood in order to complete it. If you don't , you'll die" Yunho said

"And you said you didn't ask for this..?" I asked

"No we didn't. I was turned by Yunho" Yoochun said

"You asked for it?" I asked

"Not really. We've known each other even before becoming vampires. I didn't know Yunho was turned until one night I got shot and in order to save me, Yunho forced me to drink his blood. And so I did. Although I was then shot again and that was also when I realized I had only one choice. Either feed or die" Yoochun explained

"I don't know who turned me. I woke up in the woods left alone, with dirty clothes and feeling the urge of blood, I feeded without knowing. Yoochun and I met JaeJoong then shortly after and we became a group" Yunho said

"I was next. I don't really remember either. The person who turned me must have tried saving me.. or cursing me. Whoever it was, I am thankful in a way and angered in another. I got to meet these people" Junsu smiled

"As for me, I was already turned when I joined them. I was more than welcomed and I realized that they were going to become my family for the rest of my life. Or at least until I die and I had already accepted my destiny" Changmin shrugged

I swallowed hard and nodded and when I was about to turn to JaeJoong he suddenly stood up and walked over to the fireplace as he stared at it. Nothing was coming out of his mouth

I started to get the feeling that this was very.. emotional and very deep. He had scars and seems like he didn't want to talk about it.

"JaeJoong is the oldest out of the 5 of us. He has been a vampire the longest and he was also the one who taught us to feed on animals" Junsu said

I looked at JaeJoong's back but not even an answer was heard. Seems like he was lost in his own world

"We're like animals.. in a human form. We're stronger than we look like, we hear things that is out of your reach and we can smell anything, knowing the difference on every single thing" Changmin said

I nodded. Changmin smiled brightly at me. It felt like he was relieved since he was able to tell me all this.

"How old are you?" I asked, since I couldn't help my curiosity

"I'm..184 years old" Yunho said

"182" Yoochun answerd

"164" Junsu said happily

"The youngest here.. 145" Changmin smiled

I turned and looked at JaeJoong and he was still quiet. There was nothing coming out from him and he just stood there silently by the fire. I had no idea what he was thinking about but whatever that he was thinking about, it was making him very depressed. I just felt the urge of wanting to hug him and ask him what was wrong but I couldn't do that since I didn't know if I had the right to do so

"JaeJoong is more than 300 years old" Yunho said, as if he had known my question

I turned to Yunho who looked at me warmly

"Can I ask you something?" Junsu asked

"Sure"

"Why would you risk your life coming here..A house full of vampires that could easily kill you..? If you were normal like any other, you would have suggested a public place" Junsu said

"So you're saying I'm not normal?" I asked pretending to be angry in a funny way. All of the guys chuckled and shook their heads

"No it's just.. a big risk" Yoochun said

I shrugged

"This was my test. You wanted me to be able to trust you and I think I'm able to do so. It's just.. a bit hard to adjust.. to everything. It's a lot to.. take in.." I said slowly

"that is why you came here and put your life on stake in order to hear the truth?" JaeJoong asked and turned around and looked directly into my eyes

I stared right back at him

"Sometimes there are things that are worth knowing.. That is what you call.. living with no regrets. You tried your hardest to find out and to be able to know the truth gives you a clean conscience and a pure heart" I said

I saw some kind of shock in Jae's eyes but he soon relaxed and became a little.. more comfortable

"I also thought that it would be hard for you guys to be out in the public where there are a lot of humans. You've been lying all your life haven't you?" I asked and looked at the other guys in order to break myself away from the gaze between me and JaeJoong

"That is how we protect ourselves" Changmin shrugged

"To lie to people?"

"Well not really lying, we just leave out a few.. details about ourselves" Changmin said

"Then why... are you telling me this?" I asked confused

A glance was being exchanged between the guys which gave me an uncomfortable feeling.

"Maybe we should take this tomorrow. It's been a long night and.. you need to rest your head a bit. Too much information is not good. This sort of information can wait" JaeJoong suggested

I swallowed hard and I started to feel bad about this

"You don't want to tell me" I stated and looked at JaeJoong

"Now is not a good time. There's only a certain amount of what you can take in. You've just been told the history of us as vampires and you want to know more?" JaeJoong asked

"Yes" Was my simple answer to his question

He sighed

"How about you stay here overnight? We can continue this conversation tomorrow. You look exhausted" JaeJoong said, his voice somewhat softer now

He had been reading me like an open book.

I was tired. On the inside and emotionally. I was a wreck at the moment since he was right. This was a lot to take in.

"We've prepared a guestroom for you" Junsu said

"What makes you think that I would spend the night here?" I asked slowly

"We figured that you might be too tired to drive home and also that it would probably take all day tomorrow for us to go through the details about our lives as vampires. Wasting time in going home.. right?" Junsu smiled

I chuckled

"So you prepared?" I asked

"You have your things in your car don't you?" Changmin smiled brightly, seeming to be really happy about me staying over

I nodded

"I wasn't sure about this.. at first but.. there's a lot of things we need to talk about.. and I thought that this was going to take the whole night.. so I was prepared to pull an allnighter if I had to" I confessed

The guys laughed

"We can pull an allnighter if you want cause we don't sleep.. How about Yoochun will go and get your things and you can change into more comfortable clothes and then we can continue to talk? I bet you feel a bit more comfortable now.. and you are probably able to ask us anything now.." Yunho smiled

I nodded

"We can talk until you fall asleep" Changmin said happily

I chuckled

"Okay"

I then turned to JaeJoong who was just looking at me

"You should be sleeping though" He mumbled

"I have all the time in the world" I said

"So do we" He said

"But we don't have school tomorrow. It's weekend. Can't we just do it.. in a human way? Friends talking all night long?" I asked

A sudden change in JaeJoong's expression caused me to look at him even more. HIs eyes said something that I wasn't able to read and whatever it was.. it wasn't a bad reaction. Seems like I had him right where I wanted

The first smile from him ever since I arrived finally appeared and he let out a sigh

"Sure.. if that is what you want"
