~Yumi~

"So are you visiting the mansion today as well?" Jiyeon asked

"Guys, that was just one time. I'm not best friends with them or anything and I'm pretty sure they would find it really awkward if I just showed up at their place again.." I chuckled as all three of us were walking down the hallway, finally ending the school for today

"But one time can always end up being several times. You didn't see how JaeJoong was looking at you today?" Minji asked

"No, he just smiled and nodded at me" I rolled my eyes

"And after that?" Minji chuckled

"Please guys... You're overrating this..." I laughed

"YUMI!!!"

All three of us stopped, my entire body became paralyzed as I recognized Changmin's voice

I spun around and Minji and Jiyeon did the same and all of us faced Changmin who was smiling widely at us

"Hey" He said

"Hi.." I smiled

"Hey girls"

Jiyeon and Minji said hi as well and I noticed their smiles became wider as well

"Look, I never got the chance to show you the painting yesterday since Yoochun hyung had complications with his computer. How about you stop by today and I will show you everything?" Changmin asked

"I.. I..Uhm.."

"She'd love to" Minji answered in my place

Changmin started to laugh and then looked at me

"If you're not busy of course..." He said politely

"I'm.. not.."

"Good, I'll see you in an hour?" He asked

"An hour.. Okay.." I stuttered

Changmin then ran off after bidding his goodbye to us and met up with Yunho and Junsu who was waiting by their car. Jiyeon and Minji then stepped up in front of me and smiled widely

"You said something about one time thing?" Minji smirked

"I can't believe you guys..." I rolled my eyes

"Have fun okay? And please text us so that we know you didn't die on the way" Jiyeon said

I parted with the girls and got into the car and drove home quickly in order to shower and change clothes to something better, not that I don't know why but it felt like I had to fit in somehow since all of the guys were wearing amazing clothes all the time. And also, I needed to eat something.

"I'm home auntie" I said as soon as I stepped inside

"In here sweetheart"

I walked directly to the kitchen to see my aunt leaning onto the zink, having a cup of coffee and reading the newspapers.

"What's the 411?" I asked

"It's another animal attack. 2 hunters got attacked yesterday and no one knows what kind of animal.." Aunt said

"Really?" I asked and looked at the newspaper while eating my apple

"This is the second attack this week... Maybe we shouldn't go out in the woods.." Aunt said

"Maybe we shouldn't..." I said worriedly

"Yes we shouldn't.. " Aunt said

She then went into the living room and I kept staring at the newspapers. Not that I wasn't afraid because I was but should I let that stop me from visiting the guys tonight? Afterall, they lived kind of deep in the woods..

I decided to push it to the back of my head and I hurried upstairs to take a shower before heading to the guys.

An hour later, I was on my way, with my bag which I had packed with my cellphone, carkeys, pepperspray, make-up and some other stuff. I was starting to get nervous as I saw the sign, Road 45 and the closer I started to get, the more nervous I started to feel. JaeJoong instantly hit my mind as I parked right in front of the mansion, wondering if he was going to be home now when I was there..

I took a deep breath and took my bag and slowly made my way up to the mansion. I was about to knock when Yoochun opened the door and smiled happily

"Another visit? You're spoiling us" Yoochun said happily

"Not really...I..came to see the paintings that Changmin wanted to show me" I explained

Yoochun laughed happily and nodded and let me in and the scent I had smelled from yesterday hit me once again and I was letting it fill me up as I walked into the familiar livingroom

"Changmin will be here in a minute, probably cleaning some of the paintings. He was really excited when he told us that you were coming" Yoochun said and poured himself a drink

I looked at the drink and started to find it strange to see him drinking so early in the day, when he just got home from school. Teenagers don't drink on weekdays.. only weekends right?

"Would you like one?" Yoochun asked

I shook my head

"No.. I don't drink.." I smiled

"I see.." Yoochun smiled

He gulped the drink in one shot and poured himself another one and I started to feel uncomfortable, just seeing him sweep all thos drinks in one-go

"Yumi!"

I spun around, relieved to see Changmin finally here and he walked over to me and smiled happily

I smiled at him at first but the closer her got to me I noticed something weird at the corner of his mouth.

"Changmin.. I think you're.. bleeding" I said and looked at him confused

"Bleeding? No..." He laughed

"No I'm serious.. I think there's blood on the left side of your mouth" I said and was about to wipe it away until he stopped me and it up, causing me to stare at him in shock

"It's just juice. JaeJoong made a new berry juice today and I uh... tried it. It's delicious" He smiled

"But I'm sure.. I think.. it.."

"Yumi? See, I don't even have a wound here" Changmin smiled

I then gave in, probably just hallucinating

~JaeJoong~

"There's no trace after that vampire" I mumbled as I stepped into the mansion with Yunho and Junsu

"No trace, and he doesn't even clean up his trashes after himself. Who can that be?" Yunho asked

"Not sure, but I did made sure that there was no one following us when we moved here from Mokpo" I mumbled and went inside the livingroom

"We should try and trace him as soon as he strikes again. Maybe we can get him to behave or just force him out of the town" Junsu suggested

"I think that would be somewhat impossible.. He seems to be a bit too thirsty in my opinion. You think it's a new vampire that just completed his transition?" I asked

"Could be.." Yunho said

"Oh you're back" Yoochun said and entered the livingroom with a glass of alcohol in his hands

"Here we are. No trace, no idea who it might be" I mumbled and sat down

I then could smell something. I familiar scent which hasn't been able to disappear yet and it smelled like lilies, a soft scent coming from newly washed clothes and soon enough, the scent of human blood

"Who's here?" I asked

"Yumi" Yunho stated

"Again?" Junsu asked

"She's watching the paintings that Changmin never got the chance to show her yesterday. They've been wandering around for 2 hours almost" Yoochun said

"She doesn't seem like the girl who's interested in painting, art overall" Junsu said

"I think she is" I said and stood up

"You've been able to feed something when you were out hunting?" Yoochun asked

"Yes, for now it'll be okay.. A few hours with Yumi, we can handle that" Junsu said

"Good..." Yoochun said

"This is ancient, like really ancient.. It was passed down from family to family and now finally it is here in JaeJoong hyung's hands" Changmin said

Never in my life had I been so fascinated to see all the paintings that was beautifully hanging along the walls on the 2nd floor. It was a long corridor, a several feet long carpet that was covering most of the floor, several rooms that were closed along the hallway and beautiful paintings was decorating the beautiful hallway.

I even got the chance to see the 2nd livingroom on the 2nd floor and it was the area that stretched out like a terrace onto the livingroom on the 1st floor. This mansion was amazing

"Changmin!!!" I heard someone shout, probably Yunho from the 1st floor

"Oh.. I'll be right back" He said

I was soon left alone as Changmin ran downstairs to see what his hyungs wanted. I started to become restless and as I looked around, I started to get a very spooky feeling around here, not only spooky but it felt more like... mysterious.

I soon found myself wandering down the hallway, looking at the doors that were closed and seeing the big windows that stretched itself from the floor all the way up to the ceiling, letting in the evening that was about to arrive.

I leaned against a door, as I looked outside the window but in a second I stumbled backwards as the door opened itself. I fell down onto the floor and groaned out of pain as I sat up slowly to check if I was injured somewhere. I stood up and dusted off the dirt from my clothes and then looked around to see it was pitch dark, not even my eyes were able to see in the dark or make out any furniture. All I did know was that the room was big

I walked back, to the entrance and switched on the lights and when the light lightened up the room, I found myself standing in a bedroom.

In the middle was a huge bed, looking like it was from the ancient from ninteenth century. I was totally amazed by the beautiful bed as I stepped closer and closer to have a look at it. The bed was wide, probably fitting at least 5 people in there. At every corner of the bed, it had each a pillar and some kind of curtain, in wine red and white was decorated along with the bed. The bed had several pillows, two blankets and it was pretty high

I then looked around to see a big window, with glass doors and I then spotted the balcony. I saw a desk filled with books, bookshelves and I saw a closet, a bathroom and then a small couch along with a table made out of tree and on the table were more books, pencils, candles and lots of small things and items

"Seems like you find the room fascinating"

I spun around to see JaeJoong in his black knitted sweater along with dark gray jeans, leaning against the wall as he looked at me

"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to in like that. I just leaned against the door and it just.."

"I know, this door is quite.. out of date" JaeJoong laughed and fixed the doorknob in a second.

I folded my arms, not knowing where I should put them and then I watched him as he sat down on the couch

"This mansion is very old, I tried to fix it as much as possible but buildings also get old" He chuckled

"It's an amazing mansion though. I get amazed everytime I step inside this mansion, it's beautiful" I said

JaeJoong chuckled and stood up and suddenly he stopped and looked down on the floor and then he faced me

"Did you fall over earlier?" He asked and looked at me

"I.. I... yes.. but it's nothing. I'm fine" I said as he stepped closer

"You're sure? Did you get any bruises or anything?" He asked and took a soft grip around my hand and then pulled it towards himself

"May I?"

I didn't answer and he gently pulled my sleeve up and to my surprise I saw a small bruise that was about to appear.  He then let me go and walked over to the locker, pulled out something and he came back and applied some kind of cream.

"It'll cool the swollen area down.." He said softly

I couldn't help but to feel my heart skip a few beats, and my breathing increasing a bit as his white fingers were soflty applying the cream

Suddenly a low chuckle was heard from JaeJoong and I looked at him curiosly

"What's so funny?" I asked

He shook his head and smiled at me before letting me go and walked back to the locker to put the cream back

I pulled down the sleeve and as I walked closer to the couch I found the newspaper and on the first page was about the 2 animal attacks that just occured

"Oh.. don't you find that.. terrible?" I asked and looked at the newspapers

"What is terrible?" He asked

"The animal attacks.." I said and looked at him

A distant look appeared as soon as his eyes was reading the headline and a dark expression appeared on his face

"Yes, it's terrible.." He mumbled

"I hope they can hunt the animal down soon.. it's too dangerous to be out late at night and especially in the woods" I said

"Me too.. that would be the best for us all.. It feels like the town isn't safe nowadays" He mumbled in agreement

"Aren't you scared? Afterall, your mansion is deep into the woods and not only is it dangerous, it's terrible. You can get attacked and get badly injured" I said and looked at him seriously

"Haha.. Yumi, don't worry. It's just an animal.." JaeJoong said, laughing it away

"It's..not funny.. I'm serious here" I said and looked at him

JaeJoong looked at me and his expression soon changed

"I'm sorry for making fun of you. But I guess that was my way of saying that you shouldn't.. worry okay? Take care of yourself and your family instead" He smiled

I softened up a bit and looked around in the room and when he mentioned family, I couldn't help but notice that there was no pictures of his family or himself at all..

"Is it too.. personal.. if I ask where your.. family is?" I asked

JaeJoong looked up and I saw him stiff a bit but he then relaxed and smiled

"My parents are dead and I'm the only child. When my uncle passed away I inherited this mansion. We.. are not on good terms. I'm not close with my family"

"I'm so sorry" I mumbled

"Don't be, it's in the past"

"I understand you. My parents are gone as well" I mumbled and took a book from the shelf and started to avoidingly browse through it

"I'm sorry" JaeJoong said

I let out a low chuckle but I kept staring at the book

"As you said, it's in the past right?" I mumbled

"It is, but it doesn't mean that it cannot keep us from remembering it"

"I'd like to avoid remembering anything that has to do with my parents at the moment" II said and looked at him

"I'm sorry if I kept reminding you about them" JaeJoong apologized

"No, it's okay.. I don't.. mind. Really.. It's been a long time and I can't even recall their faces anymore" I smiled

"The human's... mind are very dim yes.." JaeJoong agreed

The silence took over and I closed the book and placed it where I took it and soon a knock was heard and I looked behind me to see Changmin enter with a huge smile

"Hey again" He said

"Changmin" JaeJoong said

"Did you show her the rest of the paintings?" He asked

JaeJoong chuckled

"Well I think you showed most of them so there's no need to show her anymore. I think the amount of paintings you showed her is fascinating enough.." JaeJoong smiled and looked at me

I gratefully chuckled and nodded

"I guess then it's already time for your departure huh?" Changmin asked and looked at me

I looked at the clock to see it was almost 9 pm in the evening and that probably the girls and aunt were worried. I took out the cellphone and sent a quick text to the girls and I closed the phone and looked at them

"I guess it's time for me to leave then"

"What excuse should I have next time if I want to hang out with you?" Changmin asked

I started to laugh at his silliness and Changmin just smiled innocently at me

"We can still hang out, you don't need an excuse" I said

All three of us left the room and went downstairs and I grabbed my purse and smiled at them

"I guess I'll have to leave then. Say hi to the other guys from me okay?" I said

"We will" Changmin said

"I'll follow you to the car" JaeJoong offered

For the second time of the day, my heart started to beat faster and I couldn't help but to look at JaeJoong who was chuckling even this time, and once again I was clueless about why...

Changmin left us and JaeJoong walked me over to the car where he opened the door for me and when I sat down and put the seatbelt on, he leaned against the door and smiled happily

"Another visit, I'm glad you came back and I hope you enjoyed looking at the paintings" He said

"It was interesting..." I smiled

"Well.. then I hope this is not the last time you'll visit us.. As Changmin just said, he doesn't have an excuse to invite you anymore" JaeJoong said and chuckled

"I'm sure he'll be able to think of something" I said

"Drive home safely okay?" JaeJoong said

I nodded and he closed the door for me, and I started the engine as he backed off from the car and waved. I made a u-turn and soon enough I was on my way. I saw him getting smaller and smaller in the rearview mirror and he kept getting further and further away.

I let out a deep sigh out of happiness as I got out from the small pavement to their mansion and out on the highway. I the radio in order to fill up the emptiness and as the music started I leaned myself against the left hand that was leaning onto the door and with the other hand I was driving

I don't know what was happening but soon enough, after driving for 10 minutes I felt something weird against my spine and as if there was something luring out there in the woods on the sidelines. I kept looking into the rearview mirror. My eyes widened in shock as I looked into the rearview just to see a shadow of something weird but when I blinked and looked again, it was gone.

I then looked in the front, relaxed and tried to breathe easy and calmly again.

I closed my eyes for a brief second, which I shouldn't have done cause suddenly the music stopped and the next thing I know was that I hit something hard. The entire car started to protest and scream, the tires was screaming louder and I started to scream as I lost the control over the car and it started to bump up and down and in the next second I was rolling around, not knowing what was happening

After a minute, I started to cough as I opened my eyes to find myself sitting upside down, coughing and the glasses on the doors and the front was broken and completely damaged.

I couldn't help but cough more and more and I looked to the sides to see if there was anything that could help me

"Help..." My voice was pretty much broken and nothing came out

"Help..please.. someone.." I coughed

I looked to the side to see the long way of highway, but the two feet that caught my eyes, made me stare at the feet as it was walking closer

"HELP ME PLEASE!!" I said, relieved that there was someone out here to help me

"HELP PLEASE!!"
