Yumi's scream caused me to look up at an instant and I saw the weapon aiming at me. A second later it was fired off and it was coming for me. I managed to dodge, capture the pole with my bare hands and I growled angrily as I threw it back at her. I missed as she jumped over to another tree, laughing as if this was a game and then another sound was heard.

She had fired off another pole.

I didn't see anything, I didn't feel anything. Confused to where the pole must have gone I looked around on my body, making sure that it wasn't me but then the scent hit me. I followed the scent and I looked down on Yumi who had a pole through the left side of her chest

"YUMI!!!!"

My scream could be in comparison with nails on a black board. I fell down onto the ground and saw her coughing, wanting some air as the blood kept sippering out.

Soon enough Junsu and Yoochun managed to wobble their way over to me, After Yunho was able to help all of them, taking out all the poles that they had been staked with.

"YUMi! YUMI! LOOK AT ME!!" I shouted in panic as she kept falling in and out of consciousness

Changmin was crying already, even though he was still hurt, he didn't care about himself.

"DO SOMETHING!" CHangmin shouted angrily at me

I took a hold of the pole, feeling the vervain burning my hands but I couldn't let go and with all the strength, with all my power I pulled the damn pole out of her, feeling my hands burning and even though I wanted to scream at the top of my lungs, I couldn't. I looked down on Yumi who was getting further and further away from me.

I forced myself to stop breathing because the scent was coming onto me and I started to feel that I wouldn't be able to hold on for much longer. I bit my own arm and without hesitation forced my own bloo dinto her system. At first she didn't respond but soon I felt her it in.

"Make sure she's gone!" I said and looked at Yunho

Junsu who was now feeling better after having the tree limb removed from his body, joined Yunho in his search, clearing the area. The blood were still on his shirt but at least the wound had healed. I looked at Yumi who was struggling with the pain that Yuri had caused her and I started to feel anger rise even more. My blood thirst grew.

Soon I saw the wound disappearing, healing itself and I took her in my arms and held onto her, not letting anyone getting close to her as I tried to stay calm, endure the scent of her blood

I was so sore. I was feeling pain allover and yet it felt like it was like I had been through a rough exercise the day before. My head was exploding and as soon as my eyes shot open I was met with the most beautiful eyes I've remember seeing from somewhere

"Thank God" He whispered with relief as he kissed me on my forehead

I looked around and he took a hold of my hand as I hugged his hand back. I sat up slowly and suddenly Changmin were right by my side, helping me to sit up

"Where.."

"At the mansion" Junsu answered, knowing my question

"Yuri... "

"Gone" Kibum said

I swallowed hard

I remembered the pain of having the pole going through me, puncturing my lung and after that, it was pitch dark

"How can you be so incredibly stupid to run off on your own, thinking that you would be alive after a trap that was so obvious in order to kill you?" Kibum said, appearing from the corner

"I am not in the mood of fighting with you at the moment"

"I agree with him. Why?"

JaeJoong's sudden words, which he spoke with despair made me think it all through

"I didn't want all of you to get hurt"

"Oh Lord" KIbum sighed sarcastically

"And leaving my aunt and Uncle unprotected"

"and you think that you would survive after going to the park all alone?! ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?!" JaeJoong shouted

I swallowed

"I knew what I was getting myself into"

"And so you.. continued on, knowing that there was a big chance that you would die and yet you tell us nothing?" JaeJoong asked, not believing what I was saying

I sighed

"I have my reasons"

"You're human" JaeJoong accused me, as if that was something that wasn't normal

"And you think that just because you're a vampire you would be invincible as well? My conclusion is, we're all out of our mind" I said and glared at him

JaeJoong swallowed

"We have advantages" He said

I hadn't noticed that everyone had left the room already but since I didn't see Yoochun or Yunho in the room, I figured they would be at the house protecting Aunt and Uncle

"You might have advantages but to me, all of us do. I can negotiate"

"About what? YOUR LIFE?!" JaeJoong said angrily and got out of bed

"To save the ones that I love, it's worth it"

"You're unbelieveable you know that?!" JaeJoong said, getting angrier

I started to get angry as well, I got out of the bed and stared at him

"And you think it's fair to me to let you die in order to let me live? There's no logic in that at all"

"I've already lived my life. For 300 years already, It's okay for me to die"

"NOT FOR ME!!!"

The last sentence, I had to shout it all out because then my strength disappeared and I collapsed

JaeJoong was quick to catch me and he, without any strength or effort, carried me over to the bed

And then we just sat there, staring at each other, me leaning against the wall out of exhaustion while Jaejoong looked at me

"You shouldn't risk your life like that"

"You shouldn't die for me.. just like that" I whispered

He became quiet and so did I.

The fight was over

"How did you know that I disappeared?"

JaeJoong sighed and looked at me

"I was counting the minutes while you were gone and when 15 minutes already passed, I worried. The guys as well. We left the house in a hurry, saying that we believed that you already went to bed and your aunt and Uncle fell for it and that was how we managed to get out of the house because they were apparently tired from the trip as well. I caught up with your scent and that is how I found you"

I swallowed hard

"I was healed by your blood wasn't I?" I whispered and looked down on my newly washed and newly changed clothes. I was wearing JaeJoong's oversized shirt

He nodded

"So you can't leave this mansion until I know that my blood is out of your system"

I nodded

"About 24 hours will do" He whispered

Suddenly I felt him caressing my hand wrist and I saw the mark after Yuri's bite wasn't completely healed yet. I guess it would take sometime before it will disappear

"I can't believe she fed on you" He whispered angrily

"I'm okay"

"And if you weren't?"

His voice sounded so sad, as if the thought of me being gone would destroy his world, as if he had all of the burdens on his shoulders and there was no way of him being able to solve everything

"I'm okay"

He sighed heavily and crawled his way over to me and I was suddenly leaning onto him as he hugged me from the back, holding onto me and kissing my neck and collarbones

"I love you" He whispered

"I know.. I love you too"

"Tell me you're sorry" He said

I sighed

"I know what I did was risky but I'm not sorry for it. Well I am sorry for all of you getting hurt" I whispered

He sighed annoyed

"I will never let that kind of thing happen again"

"It will happen again"

"No it won't" JaeJoong said

He suddenly changed his position and I was in the next second all by myself as he was standing by the end of the bed

"You're going to stay here tonight. I don't know who will be guarding you but.. One of us will stay behind while the rest of us will.. kill her"

"You.. can't!" I shouted

"I can and I will. I'm not letting her do this again"

I swallowed hard as I saw him walking towards the door

"JAEJOONG PLEASE!"

He stopped himself in his tracks and breathed heavily

"Not tonight!" I whispered, afraid that he really might disappear and would never come back

"I have to"

"No you don't. Not tonight. Can't we at least think about it throughly?" I asked

JaeJoong faced me and looked at me

"I've already done that"

"Without me? I have a part in this as well"

"And your part is to stay here, unharmed, protected. SAFE" He said

"And let you do everything? You know that I won't be able to sit here and do nothing and die out of worry because of all of you"

"You don't have to worry. We're prepared this time"

I shook my head

"Stay with me tonight. I want to hear the plans.. and I.. I.. promise to stay away. But do not.. leave me tonight"

JaeJoong's hard face softened up and I saw him looking at me with tender and soft eyes.

He suddenly flew through the room and he was suddenly lying on top of me

"You promise?" He whispered, holding his breath

I swallowed hard, feeling myself all spiked up now, knowing what kind of promise I was giving, what I was risking. But I was prepared to do anything as long as he wouldn't disappear from me now because I wasn't ready to lose him tonight. Not after the incident that just happened

"We can go far away. You can.. look me into some kind of... cabin.. in the forest.. away from my family. And I will stay there.. and wait for you. But let us plan this.. more throughly. I want a part of it as well"

"And you promise to not run off on your own at any circumstances?" He asked

I swallowed hard

"If it keeps you from.. going away tonight" I said

I didn't get an answer, instead he kissed me. I guess this was his way of saying yes
