~JaeJoong~

A knock on the door was heard, Junsu and Changmin were the ones who stepped in, Changmin brought a tray with him, hoping that Yumi was going to awake but she wasn't

"How.. is she?" Changmin asked worriedly, in a very sad tone as if his heart was breaking

I sighed

"No change. She's still sleeping" I mumbled and caressed her hair

"She's been sleeping for so many hours already. We shold get her home or else her family will be suspicious of us.." Junsu mumbled

"I know but I don't want to move her at the moment. Let's just deal with it later" I said and looked at them

"Donghae left by the way. He was .. pissed off. Jealousy speaking perhaps?" Junsu chuckled

I rolled my eyes

"He's on the last place of priorities and also he's the last thing I want to talk about" I said

"We should focus on helping Yumi getting better. Maybe we should give her some of our blood?" Changmin asked

I shook my head

"I've already given her. I don't want her to have it in her system.." I said and looked at the guys seriously

They all nodded, knowing what the consequences would be if we just made one small mistake

Someone was caressing my hair while humming to a lullaby not too far away from my ears. Slightly, I opened my eyes and looked around before I came in contact with a pair of eyes who was smiling at me warmly witha  gentle smile

"Hey there.." He whispered

JaeJoong moved the hair out of my face and looked at me, waiting for me to reply him or utter some kind of word that I wasn't in pain or so. I wasn't. I was a bit numb around the neck area but I felt a lot better now than earlier

"Hey" I whispered

"Feeling better?" He asked

I took a deep breath and nodded slowly

"A lot better. The neck is numb though"

"DO you want to sit up?

I tried to get up myself but I needed some assistance because I felt a little weak here and there, on different parts of the body

JaeJoong fixed my hair again and my heart beated twice as much than earlier. JaeJoong chuckled, I rolled my eyes since I knew he heard that

"You should stop eavesdropping" I mumbled

JaeJoong chuckled happily and looked at me

"I'm not doing it on purpose"

"But you're hearing things that you're not suppose to hear" I said embarrassed

JaeJoong tilted his head to the side and then a gentle smile appeared. I suddenly felt his finger caressing my cheek and he seemed to be very excited

"Your color.. is coming back" He said

"My.. color?" I asked confused

"The color of you blushing when you're embarrassed"

I swallowed hard as I tried to control my heartbeat. I refused to let him have the joy of listening to me while I was fighting with it, struggling in order to not let him hear. But he seemed very delighted, being able to hear it

"You want to go home?" He asked

"Not really.. I'm still tired" I mumbled

He chuckled

"I understand but.. we don't want your family forcing you to stay away from us. You should go home. Anyone can take you there. If you need us you know where we are.. or our numbers" He smiled

I chuckled

"You make it sound like you're my hero in shining armor" I chuckled

He smiled

"if you want us too" He joked

I looked around in the room, to find us the only ones to be here. I knew deep within that the person I was looking for wasn't here. Seems like JaeJoong understood it as well and he scratched the back of his head

"He left a couple of hours ago. He was mad. I don't know why since I didn't talk to him but like i care either" He said

"What do you mean by that?"

JaeJoong looked at me seriously

"He was irresponsible for letting you get hurt like that. A vampire have amazing hearing. I don't get it, WHY wasn't he able to hear you getting abducted? He should have heard it, or somehow sensed it. Our instincts are reliable" JaeJoong explained

"Maybe there was something stopping him" I suggested

"Like what? He was thirsty?" JaeJoong said angrily

I sighed

"I don't know.. But I'm here and I'm still alive. This is the 3rd time you're saving me. Thank you Jae" I said and smiled

JaeJoong looked at me warmly and nodded

"I should take you home now"

JaeJoong rubbed his eyes tiredly. He bended down his head and took a deep breath. I looked at him, kept looking and waiting for him to raise his head and when he did I saw the dark circles around his eyes. I swallowed hard

"You need... to.."

I couldn't finish the sentence but JaeJoong just smiled at me palely and shook his head

"I'm fine.. I'll go hunt when I've brought you home safely" He said

"But you look so... weak" I whispered and touched his face

JaeJoong closed his eyes. I put my hand on his cheek to feel his body temperature a bit colder than my own. It seemed like his skin was fading, not the shining and milky white skin that I was used to see him in. The eye area seemed to be exhausted and yet he hadn't done anything during the night when I was asleep. The blood must be really important to him. He needed it.. now

I looked around anxiously, in panic almost when I tried to think of getting him some blood

"You need to drink.. first.. I can wait" I said worriedly

"You're making a fuss over nothing. This is not the first time I'm like this. It's been worse" JaeJoong chuckled

"But you shouldn't starve yourself, you shouldn't.. force yourself just to help me" I said angrily

"Don't yell Yumi. It makes your blood pressure high" He mumbled tiredly

My.. blood. THAT'S IT!

I stretched out my hand in front of him as he raised an eyebrow a bit confused at me.

"Here, drink"

An expression that I had never seen before appeared on JaeJoong's face. The eyes became darker than earlier and I saw him glare at him. And then it disappeared. His eyes became normal and he stared at me

"Don't ever.. do that again. Ever" He said and lowered my arm

I swallowed hard

"You have no idea how dangerous that is. That was very careless of you. You just lost tons of blood and you want to lose more? I don't get you" JaeJoong said

"I just don't want you to suffer JaeJoong ah~ That's my intention" I said

JaeJoong looked at me for a long time before I saw his face soften up a bit and a smile appeared

We finally arrived at my house after I had managed persuading JaeJoong go hunting first and then take me. To kill time, I had been hanging out with Changmin and we talked about the upcoming vacation that was approaching. Changmin said something about going to a ski resort but I had instantly declined it since I hate snow and I hate cold overall. Changmin chuckled and said he didn't mind to go somewhere else becuase it would be fun if we could just hang out. I suggested a barbeque party but then remembered that they didn't eat steak and such since.. yeah..

Changmin had laughed at me then and said that he's able to eat anything but nothing can be compared to blood. So a barbeque was then decided

JaeJoong opened the door for me and helped me outside and held onto me as we were walking towards the door. I was feeling a bit better but it felt a little weird, strange to know that I had scars in my neck. It looked like two dots at the moment and if you didn't look at it very closely you wouldn't know that it was the marks of a vampire. I was happy that I had brought a scarf with me

We stopped right outside the door and JaeJoong turned himself to me

"You'll be okay from here?" He asked

"I'm not a 5 year old" I rolled my eyes

JaeJoong laughed while rolling his eyes

"I'll be close by so just call if there's anything you need. Even if it's just talking okay?" He said

I felt warm suddenly, as if the system in my body was working again. The chest was so filled with so much warmth and my stomach had butterflies. It was tickling. A mixed feeling of excitement and happiness. It felt wonderful

"Thank you JaeJoong.. for saving me again" I smiled

I leaned forward, I had to stand on my toes and then my lips planted a warm kiss on his cheek. When I pulled myself back I saw a surprised and shocked JaeJoong and I fired off a smile before I opened the door and stepped inside, leaving JaeJoong speechless
