Donghae got himself up on his feet quickly but Junsu was fast with kicking him down again and tiredly he stayed on the ground while groaning. I had no idea what I should do, say in order to make the best out of the situation because to judge by the guys faces, they were in the mood of killing

"Oh please, you shouldn't be so harsh on him"

A voice I had never in my life heard before, was heard and the guys spun around only to see a guy, dressed in nice looking clothes, probably expensive because he looked really handsome but the aura that was coming from him was nothing other than bad. His hair made him look dangerous, short, black with a white scar which he had probably cut himself was across the top of the head

"Kibum?"

JaeJoong's voice was more than surprised but then I heard Kibum chuckle playfully

"You look better than a decade ago"

JaeJoong's response to that was a chuckle. Did they know each other?

I decided to help Donghae because he was probably suffering and so was YUnho and Changmin at the moment. I hurried down to Donghae's side to help him sit up and he looked so tired, as if he hadn't had blood in days

"Are .. you okay?" I asked

"I need.. to feed" He said hoarse

Suddenly Donghae's eyes changed and I felt myself breathing faster as the fear of him attacking me grew

Suddenly Changmin were right by my side and he took off with me about 30 feet away from Donghae with Junsu by his side.

"Donghae, you should go hunt. You look terrible" Kibum said and nodded towards the forest.

Donghae didn't even hesitate and he ran away as Kibum ran over to JaeJoong and gave him a friendly hug

JaeJoong and Kibum later on helped Yunho up and soon we were all on our way back to the mansion. I decided to not head back to school and texted the girls that something came up and that I was feeling kind of sick. I was more worried about Changmin and Yunho than anything else at the moment

Changmin lied down on the couch while Yunho sat down on the arm chair and Junsu was back with two glasses of blood and handed it over to them

"You're.. okay?"

JaeJoong appeared behind me and I spun around and let out a sigh

"I'm not sure. I hope they'll get better soon" I mumbled

"Oh they will, don't worry. We won't die unless you burn us or.. stake us" He mumbled

I nodded

"Why is there a human in this room? Is she aware of that she's surrounded by vampires?" Kibum asked as he came towards us

I let out a sigh and faced him

"I'm surrounded by friends and one vampire"

"Oh.. well that changes the situation a bit. Are you planning on becoming a vampire too?"

"NO!"

The one singled word that was chorused by everyone in the room except Kibum almost gave me a heart attack

"Wow.. okay so you're surrounded by vampires, some of them called friends and you're not planning on becoming a vampire. What is your purpose here? Fascinated by the supernatural?" Kibum asked and poured himself a glass of alcohol

"Are you always this straightforward?" I asked

"Oh, not only straight forward, I'm honest, handsome, almost 400 years old and I'm definitely forever young" He smiled and drank all of the alcohol in one shot

"I'm sorry Yumi. Kibum is a friend of mine and we met when I was around 80 years old into the vampire life. HE was the craziest but also an all time, close vampire friend" JaeJoong said

"Hey Yunho, I didn't mean to shoot you, I just wanted to see how strong you were"

Yunho started to laugh and rolled his eyes

"I'm strong, but I can't say that it didn't hurt" Yunho said

"Right, I think you need a few more gun shots" Kibum chuckled

"You shot him?" I asked shocked

"Yup, Donghae just happened to be there, whoever he was" Kibum shrugged

"So you let Donghae take all of the blame?" I asked, starting to get annoyed with Kibum's sarcastic attitude

"Oh please, it's not my fault that Yoochun and Junsu wasn't attentive enough because as soon as they saw Donghae, they grabbed him and took him. Not that I know him but.. please tell him that I'm thankful for taking the blame for me" He smiled

"What kind of vampire are you? Why would you shoot your friends?! Are you out of your mind? They could easily get hurt" I shouted at him, folding both of my fists

Kibum laughed sarcastically at me

"Oh my god, you're in a room full of vampires. We're fast, strong and extremly incredible with hunting. I also forgot deadly hot as well. Anyway, it's a joke"

"You don't joke around and hurt people" I gritted my teeth

"Yumi..." JaeJoong said and tried to stop the argument

"We're not fragile little girl" Kibum said

"You think too highly of yourself" I said

Suddenly Kibum was right in front of me, his teeth appeared but he was smiling with his dark eyes

"I like thinking highly of myself because the difference between me and you is.. I can kill you easily and I'm immortal. You're not capable of any of those because even if you can kill me, there wouldn't be enough with time to"

"Knock it off" JaeJoong said, breaking me away from Kibum.

I was surely not scared of him, I hated his attitude and moreover, his personality

I walked off and went to the kitchen as I tried to calm myself down after being so angry and irritated over something so ridiculous as him.

"Hey.. he's just.."

"Arrogant, heartless, cold, stupid and definitely a jerk. Are you serious about being friends with him?!" I asked which JaeJoong chuckled happily to

"WHAT'S SO FUNNY?!"

JaeJoong walked over to me and took me in his arms while laughing

"He's.. unique" JaeJoong said and pulled away

"He's a jerk, 100 % pure jerk" I said

"Sorry.. but I'm serious about him being my friend. He has ways of saying hello. You just need to get to know him. He's an reliable friend and a fun person to hang out with" JaeJoong smiled

"Get to know him? I'd rather give him my blood"

JaeJoong quieten and suddenly the atmosphere became serious. I rolled my eyes

"I didn't mean it"

JaeJoong nodded

"I know but.. you know it's true right? He has more experience than me, he's stronger than me, and he was right earlier. You are in a mansion surrounded by vampires"

"No I'm in a mansion surrounded by friends, my boyfriend and one single stupid vampire"

"I CAN HEAR YOU!!"

Kibum's shout from the livingroom caused JaeJoong to chuckle, I just smiled since I was hoping that he would hear everything that I was saying

"I'm sorry for everything today. Yuri.. has a way of making everything very.. extraordinary.." He sighed

"I know. There was way too many surprises today. First her, Then Changmin and then Donghae.. and then Kibum.." I sighed

"I'm sorry this is tiring you out" He said apologetically

I shook my head

"It's a part of you and I want to take part in that" I said

"Then how about.. we have a romantic dinner tonight? It will get all of the vampire things off your head.." JaeJoong smiled

"A romantic dinner? You don't eat... human food"

"I can't say it's good.. but it helps me to keep the cravings away. Besides, your house is empty since your aunt and uncle aren't home. How about I will make you dinner tonight?"

"You.. cook for me?"

"I'm actually the best vampire cook in centuries, mark my words"

I chuckled happily as I took him into my arms

"Then I will look forward towards this romantic dinner"

"You should"

JaeJoong leaned forward and gave me a soft kiss, which was soon interrupted by Kibum who entered the kitchen

"Am I invited?"
