"Starting to feel better?" I asked as I handed the bag of blood over to him as he sat up and took a deep breath. I tried to not feel disgusted with him drinking blood

"Better soon" He shrugged and started to drink, emptying the bag with blood. I swallowed hard and looked away

"You really find me disgusting don't you?" He asked jokingly

I guess he was done and I turned myself back and looked at him

"Well it's not normal exactly" I said

"Nothing in this world is normal.." He mumbled

"Well.. at least not anymore" I said

He sighed

"I'm sorry for letting you finding out this way. I was planning on telling you" He apologized

I shrugged

"I didn't have time to think about that. I guess I'm okay with it since the other guys are vampires too" I mumbled

"You really trust them that much?" He asked

I turned myself to him since he made it sound like I was making a mistake by trusting them

"What do you mean by that?"

"Have they really told you everything that you've wanted to know? Answered all of your questions?" He asked

"I haven't really had much time to ask them Everything, as in everything about their lives, only the most important parts. How they became vampires and such" I said, starting to get suspicious. Why was Donghae asking me such questions?

"Okay" He nodded

"Why would you ask me that?"

"I just don't trust them" He said irritated

"I do" I said and stood up, following Donghae

He sighed

"I know and I'm scared of what they can do to you. They might be experienced, been living like a vampire longer than I've been one but there's always tricky stuff with vampires. I've met several vampires who's experts in acting and just using human people. Cause stealing donated blood is not an easy task. Sooner or later blood will not be enough and that is when humans comes into the picture"

I stared at Donghae as he was looking into my eyes. He was telling the truth, he didn't blink or flinch away

"Maybe it will come to an end but we do not use humans or sacrifice innocent people just because we need something that only they can provide"

JaeJoong stepped inside the livingroom, seeing him a bit angry and annoyed with Donghae. Seems like he had listened to the conversation

Donghae stiffened and I felt him taking a step forward and fussing me behind him. What in the world is he doing?

"Who knows? You might be lying, I don't know you"

"And I certainly don't know you. Like they say, do not judge a book by its cover, but it seems like I was right this time" JaeJoong said and looked at Donghae with an intense gaze that even made me flinch because of the coldness

Donghae did not look away, he was stubbornly staring back at JaeJoong

"I will protect Yumi at all costs" Donghae mumbled

"Which you failed to do when she was attacked" JaeJoong said angrily

The scary and terrified memory appeared as I felt my hand touching the mark of the vampire. I felt myself breathing a little faster

"Yumi?"

JaeJoong reacted immediately and rounded Donghae in a second as he was right next to me

"I'm.. okay" I whispered and looked up

"I was preoccupied" Donghae said

"Blame it on whatever, make excuses, like I care. But I would never use Yumi as a donator just because I need it. I would never hurt her" JaeJoong said and stepped up, I felt JaeJoong pushing me behind him this time and I started to feel a bit annoyed

"Easily said than done right?" Donghae smirked

JaeJoong gritted his teeth

"I know you want her blood as much as I want it or anyone else in this mansion. You might be able to resist it for now but once you lose the control, who knows?" Donghae said

I didn't even have time to blink my eyes before JaeJoong threw Donghae against the wal, breaking the bookshelf and he used his right arm as he took a grip around Donghae's neck

"JAEJOONG!" I screamed as I ran over to him

JaeJoong did not react on my scream and I felt him getting more furious than earlier and his temper was already on. His face had changed and his teeth appeared as he was aiming them at Donghae

"JAE!" Yunho shouted

"Don't you ever.. talk about.. Yumi like she's an animal, a victim. Choose your words wisely you filthy beginner. Don't spit out nonsense without knowing what you're talking about" He growled

JaeJoong's voice was darker and huskier than earlier. Changmin was protectively standing in front of me and I was peeking behind Changmin's shoulder. JaeJoong could be very scary sometimes. If he was able to be like this, I couldn't even imagine him in a fight with another vampire. It would be amazing apparently but at the same time, scary and just.. terrifying

JaeJoong then let go of Donghae who fell onto the ground. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath before his face became norma. He walked away from Donghae, towards me as he was looking at me

"I won't give up that easily JaeJoong" Donghae coughed

JaeJoong stopped and spun around

"I'm more than 300 years old while you're not even 5 years. You might won't give up yet but when it comes, you will have to make a decision"

JaeJoong then turned himself to me again and walked towards me. Changmin moved aside and sighed

"Who's gonna clean that up?" Junsu muttered

"Him who else?" Yunho asked

I guess Yunho was referring to JaeJoong but seems like JaeJoong didn't hear him, his attention was on me

"I'm sorry about that" He mumbled

I kept looking at him while Donghae was getting up, looking at me as well. This was going to be a long night

"I won't say it's okay cause in a way it isn't" I said

"I know that" JaeJoong said

"But can't you at least have the white flag up while we're working on finding the trio that is kidnapping and feeding on the people in this town?" I asked, ignoring what Donghae and JaeJoong had been arguing about
 

I didn't want to think about it, I refused to. I knew the risk was there, that there would be a chance that they could hurt me but what could I do about it? I've been taking this risk for so long ever since I started to hang out with them and I guess there was just no turning back at the moment..

But I trusted them. I could do that.. couldn't I?

I swallowed hard since I knew that they had already proven themselves reliable and trustworthy.,but there was always a chance, always a risk..

I looked behind JaeJoong wondering who the person was, who I should fear the most..

Donghae was right. If they really did lose the control, I could die any second. But Donghae was also a vampire..

Who am I suppose to trust?

I looked around in the room, viewing all the guys as I felt myself doubting..
