“You’ll choose Jung Heeji?”

Heeji glanced behind her, her eyes widened when she realized whom standing behind them. And then she noticed that some of the people inside the club were starting to stare at them, she panicked slightly.

“Hey, hey, no need to be intense and~” Kai started to speak and walk between the two males, and then Heeji took the drink from Ten’s hand and finished it one go. Ten balked at the girl and watched as she approached the group.

Jaerin and Jaehyun both felt relief when they saw Heeji appear, but what she did next surprised them.

Taeyong was still staring at Ahyoung when Heeji went up to him, the crown princess smiled before going on her tippy toes to press her lips against his.

Johnny almost fell off the stool.

Taeyong tensed, his hand went up to her arm, before he could pull away, she chuckled and took a step back from her.

“Hmmm, I think I drank too much.” She mumbled with a lazy smile before walking towards the exit doors.

Taeyong’s brows furrowed, he saw Kai pulling Sehun away from them. Ten was staring at his now empty glass; Johnny kept on glancing at Ahyoung, while Jaerin and Jaehyun went back to their booth.

“A—Ahyoung-ah,” Taeyong walked towards her, he saw the tears lining her eyes.

“How—How could you?” She spat, Taeyong looked away.

“It was just..” Taeyong his lips.

“What? Because she’s your wife, naturally you’d choose~”

Taeyong suddenly halted; he glanced at the exit doors.

“Kiwi.” He said under his breath.

“Mwo?” Ahyoung looked at him, then Taeyong turned away from her and ran towards the doors.

“Kiwi.” Taeyong said to himself as he rushed out of the building.

“Isn’t…Heeji allergic to..kiwi?” Ten stuttered as he walked towards Jaehyun and Jaerin.

“Holy .” Jaerin balked, Jaehyun flinched.

“That’s why Taeyong rushed out, he tasted it.” Jaerin murmured, she looked around and saw Ahyoung sitting alone by the bar, Johnny had moved away.

“Back there…I felt it.” Ten stated.

“The tension.”

Jaehyun leaned back on his seat.

“Taeyong…he seems confused.” Jaerin said carefully.

“He is.” Ten nodded.

“That complicates things then.” Kai piped in as he joined them.

“Will it really? I mean, they’re already married, and Ahyoung left him before, she only came back when news of their wedding broke out.” Ten continued.

“Oh, you have no idea how complicated things will get.” Kai smirked, Jaerin sent him a look.

“But how are you so sure? That he is confused.” Jaehyun asked.

“Because, he looks at her when she looks away.”

Ahyoung stared at her phone as she twirled the glass around.

“You said you’d take my side.” She said to herself, she swallowed, trying to fight her tears back.

“I can’t let this happen. I met him first.” She muttered, and then she picked up her phone.

She dialed the number quickly.

“Hello, it’s me, Ahyoung.”

She looked around her, Johnny was chatting with Jaerin and Ten, while Kai and Jaehyun were both on their phones.

“Let’s do it. Next week. It’s time to release those photos.” She stated with a small smile on her face.

“You were right, miss, they did hack into my emails.” The reporter was amused, Ahyoung chuckled.

“Of course. So, next week. Let them have a short time of happiness, then after that,”

Ahyoung poured her drink on the table.

“I will destroy her.”

Heeji was panting as she reached the sidewalk, she had one hand on her neck and she tried to breath properly, her arms were already starting to itch.

“Heeji-yah!” She heard someone yell after her.

Taeyong

Her brows furrowed as she focused on her breathing.

“Ya, kiwi. I tasted kiwi.” Taeyong said as he reached her, he pulled her back, Heeji faced him.

He panicked at the site of the red spots on her neck; he took out his phone and started barking orders.

“I’m fine, I can just~”

“You’re not fine.” Taeyong stated, she just looked away, resisting the urge to scratch her arms.

“Here.” Sehun appeared before them, holding onto a small paper bag, Taeyong looked at him, his eyes hard.

“Take it, or else you’ll end up at the ER again.” Sehun continued, Heeji took the bag from him and pulled out its contents. The prince’s brows met briefly he saw the contents, Sehun knew about her allergies, Sehun even has her medicine in case of emergencies, his fists curled.

Taeyong just watched as Heeji took out a few pills and quickly swallowed them. Sehun exhaled and nodded to himself.

“You pulled out quite a show, drinking a kiwi martini.” Sehun said before turning away from them, Taeyong saw how Heeji tensed.

“O-ppa,” She called, her voice hoarse, Sehun paused, but he didn’t face her.

“Thank you.”

Sehun didn’t reply, instead he just got in the car and sped away.

Heeji saw the two Rolls Royce slowly approaching them, she turned to Taeyong.

“You should go back.” She stated.

“Heeji, I’m~”

“I don’t want to hear it. Just go back inside and talk to her. You probably know by now why I did that.” Heeji said to him just as the cars stopped beside them.

“Why?” Taeyong stalled, her lips curled up.

“People were starting to take notice of you and Sehun oppa, and Ahyoung arrived, so I had to create a diversion.” She explained.

“O—Of course, thanks Jiji.” He nodded, Heeji exhaled, two guards approached them.

“I’m sorry for doing that in front of Ahyoung.”

Taeyong shook off his jacket and draped it around her.

“Come on,” He said as he pulled her to the car. Heeji grew confused as the guard opened the door for them.

"Taeyong-ah, you can go back inside, I’ll cover for you.” She said quickly.

“No, we’re going home.”

“But~”

“You’re sick. I can’t let you go through things alone…again.” He said before gesturing for him to get inside the car.

Heeji slid inside the vehicle and scooted over, Taeyong sat beside her, he gently took her hand in his and made her lean on him.

“Can we drop by a Starbucks for some chamomile tea?” Heeji suddenly spoke.

“Anything for Jung Heeji.”
