IX.
Love the Rain so You Can Love Me Back"Halmeoni?"
Halmeoni? Seri looked at the old lady smiling at them. The lady that was on Chanyeol's door the other day was her grandmother.
Would she remember me?
"Should I come back later?", she said teasingly.
Seri and Chanyeol looked at each other wondering why she had said that. It was only then that they have noticed their hands both holding the spoon. They were arguing a moment earlier about finishing the soup that they didn't realize someone had entered the room already.
Seri immediately stood up from his bed and bowed to greet Chanyeol's grandmother.
"Goo--", her greeting got interrupted by his sudden question.
"Why are you here?"
"Is that the proper way of greeting your grandmother who flew all the way from Japan just to see you?"
"You were here last week. Why'd you come back?"
"I rushed here when I got a call saying you were at the hospital."
"I'm fine. You're wasting your time going here."
"Are you sending your grandmother away?"
Chanyeol closed his eyes and leaned back to his bed not wanting to continue the conversation with his grandmother.
"This boy. You used to cling yourself to me and now you're sending me away.", she said sulking while sitting on his bedside.
Seri smiled at her cute words.
"Is it because someone else is taking care of you now?", she winked at her.
"What are you talking about?", he replied with irritation in his voice.
"It's nice to see you again dear."
She remembers me! What do I do?
"You know each other?"
Chanyeol is now looking at her. Seri stood there awkwardly not knowing what to say.
"Well..."
"She was at the house the other day. She gave us the chicken soup you liked so much."
What did she just say?
"You said you cooked that."
"I lied."
"How'd you know where I live? You're even the one who brought me here."
"She brought you here?" his halmeoni asked astound by his words.
"Are you a stalker or something?"
"NO!!"
"Yah! Is that a nice way to talk to the person who cooked and took care of you?!", she hit him repeatedly.
