Seri tried to focus on her tasks but the thoughts of what had happened earlier kept on replaying in her head. Chanyeol's actions sent butterflies to her whole body. This was the first time she had heard him laugh and smile like that.

She decides to head back to her apartment defeated in trying to focus on her papers. Seri looks up at the crying sky with a deep sigh.

Are you back Chanyeol?, she asks before walking away.

Seri came to the library again the next day. It would be a lie to tell herself that she wasn't hoping to find Chanyeol there. Unfortunately for her, there was no sign of him.

I guess he's not coming then.
"Focus Seri. You need to finish your thesis.", she said speaking to herself, lightly tapping both her cheeks.

She went to see her thesis adviser that afternoon before going back home. As she was on her way out the office, she heard her name being called by a familiar sweet voice. She turned back around surprised to hear her voice.

"Halmeoni?"

"How are you? It's so nice to see you."

"I'm good halmeoni. How about you?"

"Oh well I'm a bit stressed out."
