Seri fidgets as she listened to the organizer's proposals for their engagement party. She became more and more nervous as halmeoni was listening and taking in each detail she discusses.   'Sorry, I'm still in a meeting. How are you? I'll call as soon as I'm done with this. - Chanyeol   This was what Chanyeol messaged her while she was on the way to meet halmeoni at the organizer's office. It has already been more than an hour and he still hasn't called her. She wanted to call or at least message him but she knew he was busy with work. It would distract him.   "Seri?"   "Yes halmeoni.", she snapped out when she heard halmeoni calling for her.   "Are you okay? I don't think you were listening."   "Oh no halmeoni. I was just.. just thinking."   "About what?"   "Everything is very nice. The number of choices just overwhelms me."   "Seri it's best to have many choices. Since you said that you and Chanyeol haven't planned of the party yet, this would give you an idea of what you want. Sora is the best events organizer in the country. You just have to tell her how you want it to be."   "Yes Seri. I understand you must be excited and nervous at the same time. We can just get through each detail one by one as not to confuse you." the organizer suggests.   Ring Ring Ring   Seri immediately reached for her phone the second she heard it ring hoping it would be Chanyeol. And yes, it was. She quickly excused herself standing up to answer his call.   "Chanyeol?"   Chanyeol smiled hearing her call for his name at the time she's troubled.   "You sound so nervous. How are you?"   "I'm fine. We're still planning."   "I see. Who's with you?"   "Just halmeoni but she said we'll have dinner with some of her friends later."   "Friends? Ahh now that she's out of the office she's been meeting with some of her friends lately. I think she'll introduce you to them."   "Can you come?"   "I actually just ended a meeting and I'm having a next one in a few. That's the last one for the day. I'll go there as soon as it's done."   "Hhmm.."   "Hey.. relax. I told you to think of how you want it to be remember?"   "I know but.."   "You can't tell them?"   "Chanyeol, I'm not really comfortable with this."   "Because you're thinking too much. Breathe and relax Seri. Look at the pictures, pick what you like, listen to their suggestions but remember that you get to decide."   "Don't you want to see them as well?"   She heard Chanyeol chuckle on the other line after she asked.   "I told you, I trust your decisions. Okay, let's do it this way. Pick your top three in everything then let's discuss it together. It's just the first meeting anyways. How's that?"   "Okay. Top three."   "Are we good?"   "There's something else. Halmeoni she... she.." , Seri struggled to keep on talking as she saw halmeoni standing a few steps away from her. She's probably checking what was taking her too long.   "Is that Chanyeol?" she mouths to her. Seri just nods answering 'yes'. She hoped that she'll head back inside however, she stayed there waiting for her. Halmeoni sends her the signal to keep on talking with him.   "Halmeoni's what?"   "Uhm"   "She's right there isn't she?"   "Uhh yes."   "She can hear you?"   "Yes."   "Then act like you're happy to talk to me."   "How am I going to do that?", she whispered.   "Aish. We need to work on that. Go back to your meeting and enjoy it. Besides, it's our engagement party. Aren't you excited? Brides usually are. Act the part."   "But Chanyeol.."   "Seri.. You can do this. It's just planning. Stop making excuses so you could see me."   "What?"   "I understand if you miss me baby. But you don't really have to make excuses like getting too anxious on an engagement planning."   "Baby?"   Chanyeol knew she was smiling from the way she was talking back. The image of her beautiful face smiling to him played on his mind making himself give off a happy smile as well.   "Listen I have to go and prepare for my next meeting I have a feeling this would be a stressful one."   "Hhmm.. I see. Okay, good luck with your meeting."   "Enjoy yours."   "I will. Thank you."   "I'll see you later."   "Hhm.. Take care."   "Tell me you love me before hanging up.", he smirked.   "What?"   "Halmeoni's still there isn't she?"   "Yeah."   Seri knew what he meant. They needed to sound like a couple in love to every one else. Halmeoni, most specially. She sighed biting her lip.   "Make it sound sweet."   She takes in a deep breath glancing at halmeoni still watching her.   "Come here quickly after your meeting. I also want you involved with our engagement planning. Don't get too stressed. I.. I love you."   She bit her lip in embarrassment while Chanyeol laughs on the other line. She hurridly ended the call not wanting to hear what would Chanyeol say next.   "Let's go?"   She smiled at halmeoni as they both walk back inside to proceed with their meeting. Her conversation with Chanyeol had lighten Seri's mood up. His constant reminder of enjoying the engagement planning lingered on her mind that she had started to really have fun with it. She picked her top three choices in every detail they presented like Chanyeol had told her to. Sora's suggestions and comments with her choices made her think and she considers every single one of them. As the meeting went on, she saw how hlameoni was enjoying herself. Seri realized how excited she must feel getting involved in her grandsons engagement party.   "Okay then, we're done. Remember to discuss your choices with Chanyeol so we could finalize everything on our next meeting."   "I will. Thank you for all your help."   "Ohh don't mind it dear. I'm so happy for you and Chanyeol."   They left the building with the city already starting to get dark. It was now time to meet with halmeoni's friends and Seri is starting to feel tensed again. She doesn't know where Chanyeol is and if he could make it in time.   They arrived at a fine dinning restaurant shortly. Halmeoni walks before her greeting her friends gleefully. She stood a few steps away from them waiting for halmeoni to come introduce her. While waiting, she felt a familiar large hand lacing its fingers with hers. She smiled to him in relief while he winked at her acting suave. She giggled at his silly behavior but the feeling of having him near by calmed her. Seri started to step behind him hiding herself. Chanyeol blocked her attempts shifting his hand to her hips bringing her close. Halmeoni signal them to walk next to her introducing them to each of her friends.   "Oh Chanyeol you're so handsome and who is this beautiful lady you have here?"   "Is she the lucky girl?"   "Actually I'm the lucky guy. This is Seo Seri, my fiance." She smiled shyly at them blushing from his sweet introduction.   "Well, your grandmother did tell us about your engagement. Congratulations."   "Thank you."   They both smiled courteously taking a seat while the ladies remained to catch up.   They sat quietly, watching while the delicious looking courses arrived.   Chanyeol couldn't stop staring at her. Her eyes, her hair, her smile. He didn't know how it was even possible that she continues to look beautiful each time he sees her.   "You have such a beautiful bride Chanyeol.", one of halmeoni's friends stated.   Seri can feel her cheeks warm hearing the compliment.    "She is very."   "So tell us the story?", she turned to Seri. Seri looked at one of halmeoni's friends confused. She didn't know which story she needed to tell.   "What story?"   "Of how you proposed of course. It tells a lot about a man's personality." They all giggle.   "Ahh.."   "Seri?"   He glanced at Seri who seemed to be surprised. He gave her a small smile cheering for her.   She took a deep breath before speaking up.   "Ahh how do I start?" a brittle laugh escaped her lips as she played with her fingers on her lap.   "It didn't really start of well.
