CHAPTER 11: WANT TO GO HOME
OTHER SIDE OF LOVE SERIES 2: FORBIDDEN RELATIONSHIP
Hyun joong was rushing in his way to the dinner venue...since there are lots of stop light
to follow,,he ended up driving 20 minutes from his place to the said restaurant..A call
came...he put his earpiece,,Yeobeoseyo? he answered.
"Hyun joong ah where are you its already 7:20? her mother asked on the other line..
"Ahh ye eomma,,im on my way,, mianhada im totally late,,im coming now im already
parking my car just see you then..hyun joong said and hung the phone immediately and
park his car and rushed up inside...An attendant led him in a private room,,He fixed his
coat and enter the room..He greeted and apologize..Annyeong haseyo,,mianhada im late..
"Gwaenchanha oppa,,nicole spoke and winked to him,,,
"Hyun joong gave him a smile but feel shy all of a sudden with nicole's parents,,
choisonghamnida auntie, uncle,,he apologize again and sitted...
"Why were you late then..his eomma ask..
"Ahh de,, i almost forgot the time,, i slept too much,,, he stumble with his
words,,mianhae but good thing young seng reminds me with the time..he answered not
noticing he mentioned young saeng..
"Young saeng? young saeng oppa? nicole asked while staring at hyun joong..
"Hyun joong suddenly smiled brightly when heard the name young saeng and had flashback
before he left young saeng at his unit.. de he reminds me that im late...thanks to
him,,,we just played around and forgot the time...
"His eomma puzzled down with his smile...He's with you the whole day? i thought you
were overslept..
"De?..Hyun joong lift his head and look at the the people around him and saw them looking
to him... Ani i went to his unit which is a floor away to mine and we played games,,but
suddenly got tired so i..i went back to my unit to sleep,,good thing i forgot my phone in
his place and he decided to give me the phone by 6:30 so i woke up with the sounds of
the door---bell and,, and when i opened the door he saw im still half awake so he
reminded me about the dinner tonight..He explained but suddenly felt trembling in his
body,,,and looked away from the stare of everyone... "Just hoping can convince them
with my non sense excuse..his thought said..
"He knows about the dinner? eomma asked again..
"Ye i mention it to him while we were playing games...hyun joong excuse again..
"The food came,,,,Hyun joong sighed in relief,,,He talked to himself,,,awwhhh what did i
actually talked about,, did i mention anything suspicious..arggghh,,,must be careful im
totally blunt now...cant think properly..
"By the way oppa..you are really close with your friends huh..i envy them..i dont have
lots of friends,,im so envious with you,,nicole spoke...
"ahhh ye...they are my good friends,,they were so down to earth unlike others who
always wants to have socialize with other some rich buddies and always partying
out...hyun joong complimented about his friends..
"Wae arent they rich too? Are they... coz they looked so simple persons,doesnt want to
mingle to others in school.. nicole questioned..
"Ani actually they just as level like us..they are also an heir of their families,,but you cant
tell right..hyun joong smiled while talking about his precious friends...
"Ahhhh i see..i havent known that since i just saw them wearing some simple outfits like
you...no one can tell they are also elites like us....nicole spoke in softness..
"Hyun joong eomma interrupted and join the conversation..Speaking of young saeng,,,his
family opened up another branch of their business in japan right i saw it in the news and it
was a successfull one.. regards my congratulations to him...
"Nicole's father joined too...yee i heard it too because we have branch in japan too and it
was really a huge success,, i met Mr. Heo before in one conference.. and he is really a
great business tycoon..though he have his business partners he usually be the one managing
the venture...
"Hyun joong just leave a trace of smile in his lips as he heard all the compliments about his
heo young saeng..He spoke in his mind,,That's my heo young saeng's abeoji..feeling proud
though he cant show it..
"Nicole just keep on staring to hyun joong wondering why he smile all along the
conversation...
"Anyway hyun joong ah..his father called,, you must bring young saeng and his parents in
one of our gatherings and starts to have joint venture with them,,,he laughed..
"De?? but i just met his parents occassionally because they were also always
overseas...hyun joong replied bluntly..
"So we must then send an invitation to them,,, the two abeoji laughed and asked for a
cheers..
"Hyun joong suddenly changed his facial expression and bit his lips, talking in his thought
while playing his food..why must they need to meet them are they serious or just joking
around,,its the end of us if you do that...
"Nicole snap out and break his stare to hyun joong when someone spoke and mention her
name..nicole,,hyun joong eomma called her,,,hows school? have you been enjoying school
here?
"Ah ye auntie,,she answered turning his attention to hyun joong eomma and smile a
little,,,well sometimes got bored coz i just spending most of the time with my
bestfriend..
"Why dont you get along with hyun joong and friends.. they are nice dear,,,you must be
enjoying here in korea, and you must get to used in here for the future...Hyun joong wants
to just spend most of his time here..so maybe our business here will be turned over to
him and we, my husband and i will manage our business in U.S..
"De? nicole puzzled up..
"I mean if you too will get married in the future of course you must stay here,,,...hyun
joong eomma said
"Ah de? nicole bluntly response in surprise though they are already aware of that wayback
in their child hood days..
"Eomma!!! hyun joong shouted a bit,,,dont say that infront of us your making us
embarrassed and we hadnt thought of that yet...we still gonna take lots of steps to get in
the right mind to decide..
"Son..i said in the future,,,not now or tomorrow or the next months...eomma turned his
face to hyun joong and patted his palm on the face..
"Nicole spoke,,but auntie,, it wasnt sure if hyun joong oppa wants to marry me...
"Wae? you are so elegant and i think the ideal girl of him would be you...am i right
son,,,Eomma said and turned his eyes on hyun joong..
"eomma just stop saying words like that...hyun joong whispered..
"Dont you want to marry my son nicole? eomma suddenly questioned her..
"Ahhh,, ermmm,hmmm,,,nicole cant answered, well doesnt know how to answer it and
her chest pounded too fast...
"Eomma!!! hyun joong shouted again,,,look you make nicole blushed and nervous,,dont ask
questions out of the blue..
"Arrasseo,,, eomma raised her voice a little and turn to nicole...mianhada nicole,, i was
just carried away...
"Aniyo..auntie its ok,, no need to apologize.. i was just,,,,,she laughed and had his excuse
to go to the powder room,, she closed the door and stay a minute on the front
door,,oohhh!! he blew his sighed and make a normal expression and murmured,,oppa dont
you want to marry me? do you like someone else? she pouted and walked through the
powder room, in his way he got bumped to someone,,a guy not that tall,, body
proportion, blonde hair,,eyes were not big but not that small..the guy smiled so cute and
apologize,,choisonghamnida agassi...
"ah ye its ok im sorry too....nicole response,,,then the guy waved and walked away...
"Tsssk...nicole bowed a little back to the guy and fixed herself and suddenly flashed back
when she and hyun joong had bumped to each other over a year or plus then...she sighed
and went in the powder room.. my second time bumping to someone near the comfort
room..aeshhhh..why am i so pissed off..ahhh oppa,,why just answered auntie that you
want ot marry me too...he murmured and crumpled his face in disappointments..
*While on the other hand hyun joong with the both parents inside were getting
bored,,nothing to open up a topic anyway..he get his phone from his pocket...no message
pop on his screen he pressed the message button and start to type a letters..
**To: HYS
How's my baby? im bored here...im excited to get home....
*He waited for the reply but it took 5 minutes before the reply came. he opened it
excitedly..
**From: HYS
Bored too..nothing to do much,, i just came back to my unit,, excited? wae?
**REPLY TO: HYS
where did you go? you went out? alone? with whom...
JUst excited,,,missed you already..

Misses me that much? palli wa...come home now or i might sleep soon..its
already near 10 pm and i am tired already...

wae where did you go and what did you do while im away? why are you tired?

geunyang,, i just came out and went to such place and exhausted myself with
someone dont worry..
**REPLY TO: HYS
yahh!!! exhausted yourself? did you ever,,,haissst,, did you met someone?
*Hyun joong made an annoyed face while staring at the phone screen..and murmured,,aeshhh are you just
cheating me now exhausted in what way? (thinking of a weird idea and his mind became
green)..Young saeng didnt reply then...Hyun joong waited, so felt uneasy suddenly always
checking his phone...
"Nicole came back from the powder room...Mianhada,, i took so long at the powder
room..There are a long queue who were using the cubicle..
"Ahhh gwaenchanha..her eomma and hyun joong eomma replied in unison..
"Hyun joong ah... why you look so uneasy..and keeps on staring to that phone? wae? are
you waiting for someone to call? his eomma added and question..
"Ahhhh ye eomma.. mianhae..with all your permission can i have my leave first? he asked
and scratch his forehead shyly..
"waeyo? ani..can you stayed longer..were you up to something important? his appa
interact...
"Ahhh ye appa...i have papers to finish..and ye its already 10 pm its a bit late...he said
after took a glance on his watch,,(As he had said to young saeng he lied just to escape
himself.)
"Eoo!!! time realy so fast..i didnt notice the time,,,nicole's father agree with the time..
Well.. shall we end our dinner here..we can just settle things and make a formal talk next
time...Hyun joong eomma suggested..
"Hyun joong been puzzled again and asked his mind... settle? what was that? aehhh never
mind need to rush up home,,,He spoke in words,,de eomma appa, auntie, uncle ill take my
leave now.. he rushed to reach the door...he stopped,,ahhh ye nicole annyeong,, see you
around campus..he bowed and left...He went straight to get in his car and drive as fast as
he can but damn stop lights really a burden in his way...
