The Running Man members gradually woke up the next day to find reporters still outside Jihyo's door, waiting for her to come out and address the rumors. 

HaHa: They really have great patience, they're still outside!
Gary: Well, it's part of their job
Suk Jin: What do you plan to do now? You can't escape from this forever...
Jae Suk: Maybe you two should just go public about your relationship, it's the only thing you can do now, with the photo it's pretty hard for people to believe it was a misunderstanding
Jong Kook: Since you've been working for years together, plus you were classmates too, it isn't really such a surprise that you are dating, you've got some supporters out there too, so going public is probably a good idea 
Kwangsoo: I don't really mind, Noona what do you think...?
Jihyo: Well, I'm just worried about the fans... They might get hurt because of haters
Kwangsoo: The Monday Couple fans will be upset too...
HaHa: You two are meant to be really, both of you are the same, but come on, stop thinking about others for once and think for yourself, it's the best thing you can do for now
Gary: Mongji-ah, don't worry about the Monday Couple fans, I will come out and support you two so the Monday Couple fans can understand
Jae Suk: We will all stand out to support you, we act as the lead and you'll gain more supporters that way
Jihyo: Alright, let's do this... I'll tell my manager to organize a press conference this afternoon, you guys are free today right...?
Suk Jin: Yup we're all free for you
Kwangsoo: Ok Noona, I'll tell my manager to help as well
Jong Kook: Let's do this! Cheer up guys!

In the afternoon, reporters have cleared from Jihyo's house after hearing the news of the press conference. The Running Man members can finally freely walk out and prepare for the event. Kwangsoo waited anxiously as Jihyo got dressed, he was nervous at the idea of being publicly seen as Jihyo's boyfriend, he was afraid others would think of him, especially when Gary had built such a strong impression on the fans. Kwangsoo didn't notice as Jihyo stepped out and was laughing at his nervous expression. She massaged his shoulders and back hugged him to reassure him, she then planted a kiss on Kwangsoo. Kwangsoo blushed that his face became red. 

Jihyo: Someone is nervous the become my man? 
Kwangsoo: Eii Jihyo Noona...
Jihyo: Don't worry, I know you're my man, that's good enough right? 
Kwangsoo: And you're my girl~ hehe
Jihyo: I love you nae Kirin
Kwangsoo: Love you too fatty
Jihyo: Ya Lee Kwangsoo!! Do you wanna die??

Kwangsoo cried out loud apologizing and begging Jihyo to release his hair. Jihyo was glad Kwangsoo is less nervous now. 

At the press conference, camera lights flashed everywhere. Reporters were all asking endless questions as the couple walked out, hand in hand. 

Jae Suk: Hello fellow reporters, I will be hosting this press conference today so I ask of you to please be patient and hold back your questions first, we will first explain and address the recent rumors, then allow time for you to ask questions. Are you ready?
Kwangsoo and Jihyo: Yes
Jae Suk: Alright, now, a few days ago, rumors have spread about our Running Members Kwangsoo and Jihyo from a photo online. I'm sure you have all seen that photo, regarding that photo, it is real. From our guess it is taken from outside the window to Jihyo's house, in which we shall further investigate and take legal action if this continues as this involves the issue of privacy. As for their relationship, Kwangsoo and Jihyo are indeed in a relationship as they have known each other for many years since secondary school, they have been working together through Running Man as well, allowing them to grow close, they have been dating for a few months and is so far going well, so we ask of everyone to please show them support. May the couple please say a few words?
Jihyo: Yes, Thankyou oppa, first of all I would like to thank you all for coming and showing interest into this issue, it is true that Kwangsoo and I have been dating for a while now, and we are also happy together, so I hope everyone can be supportive of us and respect our decision 
Kwangsoo: Yes, I am very happy with Noona right now, and I hope I will be the right man for her, I hope you will openly accept us as a couple but still respect our privacy
Suk Jin: Representing the Running Man members, we have all previously been aware of their relationship and is happy for them as we can see they have found happiness, so we will take the lead and support them as a couple from now on
Jae Suk: Thank you, now the reporters can ask questions
Reporter 1: Many fans would like to know what was your relationship with Gary, and does this have any relation to the two of you?
Jihyo: I'm sure many Monday couple fans would be curious of this, I understand that many Monday Couple fans are hoping for me and Gary to date, but despite teasing each other on screen and sometimes even real life, we have a mutual understanding that our relationship stands as good friends. Gary oppa is like my family so I am comfortable with him, for the show and fans, Monday Couple will continue. On Mondays, Gary is my man, but on everyday, Kwangsoo is my man. 
Reporter 2: How does Gary feel about their relationship?
Gary: To me they are both really good dongsaengs and I would really want them to be happy, like Jihyo said, we're all a family and as a family I am glad to see their relationship blossom, I hope they will not get hurt from malicious comments and wish them all the best 
Reporter 3: Is there anyone who feels badly about this relationship?
HaHa: How do you define feel badly? I'm jealous, does that count? We're all jealous since they're always so sweet and lovey dovey together, even in front of us!! Byul and I are still sweet, but after having Dream, we are both a lot more busy and have no time to date
Jong Kook: Ya Donghoon, why are you complaining about your marriage life here?? But well, yea we're jealous when seeing how loving and caring the couple is together, I'm sure there will be many challenges awaiting them, but I wish they will all be able to get through those challenges and happy 
Jae Suk: So this concludes our press conference today, I hope we have answered your questions, and once again I ask of you to show lots of love to us and to this couple, thanks you. 

The Running Man members left the conference room and went back into the prep room. 

Suk Jin: Good job guys
Gary: So I'm still yours on Mondays? Looks like I'll have to fight with Kwangsoo over you on every Monday from now on 
Jihyo: Ya oppa! Someone will get jealous!
Kwangsoo: Gary oppa won't win over me anyways! The one who will get jealous is Donghoon hyung!
HaHa: I just said that Cuz the atmosphere was so serious! I was about to fall asleep if I didn't add in some laughs

They all laughed and sighed in relief, they didn't know what will happen, but for now, they have done all that they could. Afterwards, they had dinner and each went home to rest after a long day. As Kwangsoo went home, he was horrified to see a number of angry Monday Couple fans at his door, they approached Kwangsoo as he tried to ignore them. 

Fan 1: Get away from Jihyo unnie, Gary oppa was speaking in tears at the conference! 
Fan 2: You can never take Gary oppa's place!
Fan 3: Gary oppa always cared for Jihyo unnie while you only fight with her! Show some respect! She's your Noona, how can you call this love?
Kwangsoo: I'm sorry but this is between me and Jihyo, I hope you can try to understand our situation... Now excuse me, I need to go home
Fan 4: Consider yourself lucky, it's only us here to believe in Gary oppa and Jihyo unnie, Jihyo unnie hurting Gary oppa like this, the fans wouldn't forgive her
Kwangsoo: Noona...

Kwangsoo realized the fan was right, if there are fans gathered at his house, the situation would be worse at Jihyo's house. He immediately rushed over to find a bunch of people gathering at Jihyo's door, damaged posters all over the place. Jihyo tried to reason with the fans but there were too many of them. She called her manager for help but her manager has not arrived yet. Kwangsoo ran over right away as he saw some of the fans going over board, pulling Jihyo's hair and throwing raw eggs. He pushed away the fans and pulled Jihyo into his arms, he covered her with his jacket and made his way into her house, ignoring the angry fans. 

Jihyo: Kwangsoo-ah, why are you here? 
Kwangsoo: There are a few fans at my house too, so I figured it would be worse here, are you okay Noona...?
Jihyo: I'm fine...
Kwangsoo: I'm sorry, I should've took you home, look at the mess they made, your hair is all messy with egg all over you...
Jihyo: It's alright Kwangsoo, don't be sorry... If it weren't for you, I probably wouldn't be able to get home
Kwangsoo: Let's clean up first, there's so much egg over you that I can probably fry an omelet out of you
Jihyo: Don't make me grab your hair...
Kwangsoo: Okok, kiss me then
Jihyo: What? Why should I? You just said you'll fry me into an omelet
Kwangsoo: You said don't make you pull my hair right, so kiss me
Jihyo: Even so, you should be the one to kiss me if you don't wanna die
Kwangsoo: Alright 

The couple pulled into a passionate kiss, even though they are tired, they find comfort from each other after a long day of dealing with the public and the lack of support. Kwangsoo stayed over to make sure Jihyo is safe, they have filming the next day and they are very tired, they soon fell asleep in each other's arms.
