Sungjae and Joy happily enjoyed their breakfast together at the dining table when the news came on. They buried their faces into the delicious food and listened to the news halfheartedly.

News Anchor on TV: Early on, there was an incident of a local drama producer ually harassing a popular girl group member.

Upon hearing the news report, both Sungjae and Joy immediately swivelled their heads towards the television. Joy's eyes widened in horror while a look of concern dwelled over Sungjae. Both of them fell silent. The warm atmosphere became ice cold in an instant.

News Anchor on TV: According to insider information, girl group member X claimed that producer Y offered to give her the lead role in his drama if she allowed him to ually molest her. Two boy group members who were present at the crime scene testified as witnesses, therefore producer Y was found guilty. After serving his sentence of 1 year and 6 months in prison, producer Y will be released today. 

The anchor continued to report other news, but not a single word entered their ears. Their minds were filled with the reminder of the horrible experience. As if reliving the past, Sungjae's expression hardened and Joy's face became as pale as a ghost. 

Sungjae: Sooyoung-ah, are you alright...?

Joy: Huh? Um yea... I'm okay

Sungjae: I still feel so bad that I couldn't stop him before he made a move... I'm so sorry...

Joy: No oppa, if it weren't for you and Changsub oppa, it would've been even worse, you really saved me that night...

Sungjae: I'm just glad no one found out your identity, or else the press and fans will never stop bothering you

Joy: Yea... I'm sorry that you got beat up because of me too that night

Sungjae: It doesn't matter, if I can protect you then it's worth getting hurt, I would rather give my life than let that jerk lay his hands on you

Joy: Don't say that oppa... 

Sungjae: I felt so much more relieved after that guy got imprisoned, how can they let him out so soon already??

Joy: Well, he didn't get to do much to me because thankfully you guys appeared, so it's only natural that his sentence is relatively light...

Sungjae: Still, it's not right that a jerk like him can just roam freely on the streets now

Joy: At least he won't be able to hurt any more female celebrities now that he has been kicked out of the entertainment world 

Sungjae: I'm just, I can't help but feel worried Sooyoung-ah... What if he comes back for you? What if he tries to hurt you again? I can't live with myself if I ever let him close to you again, I swear I'll-

Joy: Oppa, oppa, stop, I'm okay, I'm not worried, I know he won't be able to hurt me, because I have you, right?

Sungjae: Right... I promise I won't let him anywhere near you, I'll keep you safe

They comforted each other in a warm embrace. After calming down, they continued to finish their meal, but neither of them said a word. Even though each other's comfort put their mind at ease, there was still a hint of fear and uneasiness in their eyes.
