Epilogue: YoonYul

"I think we should be free. I'll check with Yoona again and finalise with you. By the way, who else is coming? I know Sica won't be around since Uncle Ken told me that she's not back yet." Yuri said as she noticed that Yoona had a curious look on her face while she continued talking on the phone for 5mins more before ending the call.

"Who was that, Dear?" Yoona asked.

"Soo. She called to ask if we're free next weekend. She's planning to visit the orphanage and maybe have a small gathering among the girls after the visit." Yuri answered as she looked at her watch. "By the way, how come he's still not out yet?"

Yoona looked towards the swimming complex entrance and was about to say something when they heard a loud voice calling out to them.

"Ommaaaaaa!!!!"

A young boy was running towards them with a wide grin on his face. The moment he was near, he took turns to give Yoona and Yuri a big hug before asking Yuri to carry him up.

"Yul Omma, I made a new friend today." He said with a grin. "She was really pretty. Her eyes were round and bright. Her lips were cute and kissable."

"Yah, Kwon Manse. Where did you learn to talk like that about girls?" Yoona asked as she had a frown on her face.

Manse pointed at an unexpected Yuri as Yoona pinched Yuri's right arm while they walked towards their car which was parked by the side of the road.

"Kwon Yuri, are you trying to teach your son to flirt?" Yoona folded her arms.

Yuri's POV

I opened the car door and let Manse in while Yoona was standing behind me with folded arms. We had went to fetch Manse from his swimming lessons which he would attend once a week on every Saturday from 9am to 10am.

"The boy was just praising his new friend. He was not even flirting with her." I replied with a sigh.

"Not flirting? Cute and kissable lips?" Yoona walked to the passenger door and opened it as she went in.

As I put on the safety belt, I turned slightly behind to face the confused looking boy who was seated behind. "Manse, can you tell Yoona Omma when did you hear me saying the words 'cute, kissable lips'?"

"Ouuhhhh... That day, I had learned about human body parts in school. The teacher asked each and everyone one of us to name one part of our body which we like the most. When Yul Omma came to fetch me, I ask her the same thing and she said she liked her hips because it was the body part that Yoona Omma likes the most. So I asked her which body part of Yoona Omma does she like and Yul Omma said she likes your lips because it was cute and kissable." Manse took some time to explain everything.

"See. I wasn't teaching him to be a flirt. He just took my words and used it." I said, trying to be defensive.

By then Yoona was already blushing as she slapped my arms lightly. "Yah, how can you tell Manse that I like your hips? It's suppose to be our secret." I just chuckled as Yoona turned around to look at the clueless boy. "Manse-ah, you shouldn't use the words kissable as randomly, arraseo? Don't follow everything that Yul Omma says."

I saw Manse nodding his head as I drove the car off to the mall. Yoona placed her hands on mine that was resting on the car's gear.

"Mianhae, Dear. I didn't mean to jump to conclusions earlier. I was just surprised when I heard Manse saying it out loud." Yoona pouted as I glanced at her.

"Gwenchana. I was surprised myself too when he said it. Anyway, what do the both of you want to eat later for lunch?" I asked as I entered the mall's carpark.

"Galbi." Both Yoona and Manse answered at the same time as they both gave each other a high-five.

2hrs after wandering around the mall and doing some light shopping, it was time to proceed to the restaurant for lunch. I smiled when I saw how Yoona and Manse were drooling at the beef that was being grilled at the moment. Both of them loves to eat meat. While we waited for the meat to be cooked, Manse asked me to take a photo of him and Yoona.

Kwon Manse was only 2yrs old when me and Yoona met him at the orphanage. Coincidentally, he was left there on the day that we all went to fetch Kyungsan after his adoption process was successful. We fell in love with the 2yrs old baby and ever since then, both of us had been frequently visiting him. Me and Yoona got married two years after SooSun but Manse came into our lives last year at the age of 5yrs old.

After I graduated, I helped Appa for a while with his company but I didn't really enjoyed the work there so when Uncle Ken offered me a job as a fitness trainer at his fitness studio , I gladly accepted it. Yoona was the one who replaced my post in Appa's company after she graduated.

Yoona's POV

"Yoona Omma, this is for you." Manse placed a big piece of meat on my bowl of rice. "And this is for Yul Omma."

He did the same to Yuri as I watched the two of them grinning at each other. 'Manse is as dorky as Yuri.' I thought to myself as a smile appeared on my face.

"Why are you smiling, Dear?" Yuri asked as Manse turned to look at me.

"Seeing the two person that I love the most enjoying their lunch, obviously I would be happy and smiling away." I said as Yuri squinted her eyes at me as if she didn't believed my words. "It's true."

Yuri chuckled as Manse looked confused.

"Yoona Omma, why do you like Yul Omma hips?" Manse suddenly asked causing me to almost choke on my food.

"Because your Yoona Omma can never forget the performance that I did when I propose to her." Yuri replied causing me to glare at her as I took a sip from my drink.

(Flashback 2yrs ago)

Yuri's POV

"Hi, Soo. Hi Taeng." I arrived at Taeyeon's house after informing them about it.

Sooyoung and Taeyeon just nodded their heads as they continued to look through the papers that was in front of them. Both of them had started a small business called Miracle Pte ltd, a few months after graduating. It was a company that dealt with event plannings and since it was still quite new, they were using Taeyeon's house as their office.

"I heard you received a proposal to handle the reunion party for Seohyun's and Yoona's graduate batch." I grinned nervously as Sooyoung and Taeyeon looked at me.

"That's right. We're actually going through the proposal at the moment. Wae?" Taeyeon asked as she arched her left eyebrow at me.

"You've got something up your sleeves, Kwon Yuri?" Sooyoung pointed her finger at me as I gulped at her firm tone.

"Anni, anni.. I was just asking. By any chance, do you need any help?" I asked as the two of them continued staring at me.

"Just say it out, Yul. We've known you for so long and obviously, we'll know when you're lying to us." Taeyeon said as she threatened to throw a pillow at me.

"Arraseo, arraseo. Actually, I was.. I was thinking of propo..." I couldn't finish my sentence when Sooyoung intercepted my sentence.

"Proposing to Yoona?!!!"

My jaws literally dropped as I saw Sooyoung and Taeyeon suddenly jumping up and running around the movie room in the attic which was now their makeshift office room.

"Yah!! Stop dorking around." I had to shout to grab their attention. "Yes, I intend to propose to Yoona so are you both going to help me?"

"Of course!!" The two of them said at the same time.

(At the reunion party a few weeks later)

Yoona's POV

"Hi Seohyun. Hi Hyo." I smiled at the two loving couple when I saw them walking in.

"Hi Yoona. How come you're alone? Where's Yul?" Seohyun asked as we walked towards the table assigned to us.

"She said she couldn't make it. Something about having to come up with a new training plan for her customer." I sighed as I folded my arms.

Actually I was feeling a little disappointed with Yuri at the moment. It was the very first reunion party that we held after my graduation. I heard that Seohyun was the organiser of the reunion party and she had engaged the help of Sooyoung and Taeyeon to help her with today's programme. I was hoping that Yuri would have accompanied me tonight.

"Maybe it's really something urgent. Knowing Yul, I think she would rather be here with you, if she could." Hyoyeon said as she smiled warmly at me.

"I guess so. By the way, I can't wait to watch Soo and Taeng hosting the show tonight." I said, trying to divert the topic away from talking about Yuri.

I was really amazed with the skills that Taeyeon and Sooyoung had. For the past 2hrs, they were able to entertain us with their wits and humor as they showed some videos that were contributed by our schoolmates and also did some activities on stage with the participation of the crowd. I was truly enjoying myself that it made my mood felt slightly better after the disappointment of Yuri's absence.

"How's everybody feeling at the moment?" Sooyoung asked the crowd as everyone cheered.

"We're glad that you've enjoyed yourselves. Sadly, the show has come to an end. Me and Sooyoung would like to thank you once again for your enthusiastic participation in today's event, on behalf of the organisers. So, please have a good night rest and drive home carefully." Taeyeon said as she and Sooyoung bowed their heads to everyone.

"Yoona, stay behind for a while. Taeng messaged me earlier that she wanted us to wait for her and Soo." Hyoyeon said as I nodded my head.

As I observed the crowd getting smaller and smaller, I took out my phone and was disappointed that there was not even a message or missed call from Yuri. I sighed as I leaned back into the chair.

It took about 30mins for the hall to be emptied. The only people left behind by then were just me, Seohyun and Hyoyeon. I've been waiting for Sooyoung and Taeyeon to appear from the stage but there was no sign of them. Suddenly, I heard music being played in a background as my eyes automatically turned to face the stage that was brightly lit up.

"Wasn't the lights on stage turned off earlier?" I said to no one in particular. "How come...?"

I didn't continue my sentence because I was taken aback to see Yuri walking to the centre of the stage with a few ladies following her. My jaws literally dropped when she started dancing to the music.

'Damn that hips. Moving so ily in front of me.' I thought to myself as my eyes were glued to the performance.

"She's good, don't you think so?"

I turned around and was surprised to see TaeNy, SooSun and JaeSica standing behind me.

Yuri's POV

Once the performance ended, I stared at Yoona as the other girls gathered behind her. I saw her shocked expression when she realised they were there though. After I had seeked the help of Sooyoung and Taeyeon, I contacted the rest of the girls to inform them about my plan. Even Jae who was away in LA, flew back just to witness the whole event.

"Im Yoona. Did you know that I had a huge crush on you since middle school? Did you know how upset I was when we enrolled into different high school and I couldn't see you? Did you know how happy and thankful I was when I found you again?" I paused for a while as I walked down from the stage.

"It's your fault for being a coward and not confessing earlier." I heard Taeyeon teasing me as the girls giggled.

"Shut up midget. You're a bigger coward than me." I meronged at her while Taeyeon did the same to me. "Anyway, back to my confession. Yoongie, our relationship wasn't as smooth sailing as I wanted it. There was a time that I had almost lost you and it made me realised how much I needed you in my life. For the past 10yrs, my love for you hasn't change. And I know even for the next 100yrs, it'll remain the same."

I ended my speech on bended knees as Taeyeon handed me something that looked like a macaroon.

"You're giving me a macaroon?" Yoona asked with a confused expression.

"Anni. It's a macaroon box with a proposal ring. So with all my heart, I'm asking you this. Im Yoona, will you marry me?" I asked as I smiled nervously at her.

"Even though your confession is a bit unorganized, but I guess that's who you really are. And even though I'm not sure if I'm going to live for another 100yrs, I would love to live the rest of my life with you, Kwon Yuri." Yoona answered as I had a wide smile on my face. "Especially when you move your y hips like that earlier on."

Yoona giggled at her own remarks as I gave her a tight hug and a peck on her lips.

"Why do I feel like Yoona's confession is better than Yul's?" Jae tilted her head as the rest of the girls laughed at me but they ended up cheering for the good news.

(Back to present time)

Yoona's POV

"But Yul Omma, why is the ring in a macaroon box?" Manse asked with a clueless look.

"Because your Yoona Omma likes to eat." Yuri giggled as I glared at her.

"Yah, Kwon Yuri. Are you calling me a shikshin? That is suppose to be Soo." I answered as I folded my arms.

"Soo Omma is a shikshin? But how come Soo Omma is so thin?" Manse had a little frown.

"Soo Omma is Shikshin One. Yoona Omma is Shikshin Two. Both of them are born with good genes. Unlike me. I have to exercise like crazy to stay fit." Yuri replied. "Sometimes Yoona Omma will exercise with me. Together."

I noticed Yuri's cheeky expression and I knew she was having some erted ideas in her mind. "Yah, Kwon Yuri. Your son is here, stop being a ert."

"Wae? What did I do? It's true that you will join me at the gym and sometimes, we'll go jogging together, right?" Yuri had a poker face on as Manse asked me what's wrong. "Manse-ah, your Yoona Omma is the erted one."

I watched as Yuri kept laughing while we continued with our lunch. An hour later, we were already at an amusement park since Manse wanted to play for a while. He took a ride on the merry-go-round while me and Yuri waited by the sides.

"Dear, how's work lately? You seem to be extra tired the past few days." I asked as I slowly massaged Yuri's arm.

"There has been an increase in the number of people joining our fitness studio as members. I've been busy planning out schedules for our fitness trainers so that we could accomodate to our customers." Yuri explained as I nodded my head. "By the way, how's things at Appa's company? Is everything okay?"

I nodded my head and leaned against Yuri. "Things are not that busy anymore. Appa doesn't accept too many construction proposals at one time. He said that since he's getting older, he wants to take his time with work so usually he will concentrate on a maximum of 3 projects at a time."

"3 projects? Appa usually takes in twice that amount at one time. Sometimes I feel bad for not helping him in the office but I really can't work well, being cooped up inside. He doesn't allow me to go to the construction site because he said that it was dangerous. I need to move around that's why I accepted Uncle Ken's job offer." Yuri sighed.

"Gwenchana. We all understand how much you love to do sports. Furthermore, that is what you're majored in. I'm already helping Appa on your behalf so you don't have to feel bad, okay. Your wife will represent you." I smiled and patted Yuri's back.

"Omma!!!"

Manse came running to us once the ride was over. He dragged us around for the next 2hrs as we went to different rides. We had our dinner at 7pm before we drove back home. While in the car, Yuri told Manse about the gathering next week.

Yuri's POV

"Manse, do you want to meet Kyungsan-hyung and Miyeon?" I asked Manse who was almost dozing off at the back seat.

"Kyungsan-hyung and Miyeon? Of course. I miss them so much." Manse suddenly became totally awake and was super excited as he kept clapping his hands. "Are we going to visit them now?"

"Anni, Manse-ah. We're going to meet them next week. We'll visit the orphanage too." Yoona explained as Manse nodded his head.

"Ahhh... The orphanage. I miss my friends there too. And also Ms Song. I want a girlfriend like Ms Song when I grow up." Manse covered his giggles as I glanced at Yoona who had a shocked expression.

"Girlfriend like Ms Song? Wae?" I asked as Manse smiled at me.

"Because Ms Song is caring and always patient. She's also very humble and doesn't judge people easily. When I was staying in the orphanage, there were times when I was naughty but Ms Song always took her time to explain things to me." Manse pouted as he sighed. "When I left, Ms Song told me to behave and be a good boy. Always listen to Yul Omma and Yoona Omma. Don't let both of you to be sad."

"Aigoo, Manse-ah. You've been a good boy so far and we both love you a lot." Yoona replied as I nodded my head.

By then, we had reached our house as I parked the car inside the garage. I carried Manse and held Yoona's hand as the 3 of us walked into the house. I told Yoona that I would bathe Manse and tucked him to sleep as she went into our room.

After putting on his pyjamas, Manse climbed onto his bed while I took a book, preparing to read when Manse stopped me.

"Yul Omma, what if my real parents came to look for me one day?" Manse had a worried look on his face.

I wasn't prepared for that kind of question. Never in my whole life would I ever imagine such a thing to happen. I didn't even know how to answer as I just looked blankly at Manse.

"It's okay, Yul Omma. Even if my real parents wants me back, I still choose to be with you and Yoona Omma. You won't push me away right?"

I couldn't stop smiling as I hugged the small boy tightly. "I'll never do that. We'll never do that. Me and Yoona Omma loves you a lot so please don't ever think that we'll push you away."

"I love you." Manse kissed me on my cheeks the moment I removed my hug. "Please tell Yoona Omma that I love her too. I think she's taking a shower."

The smile on my face grew wider when I saw Manse giggling to himself. "Manse-ah, don't let Yoona Omma see your erted side. She'll think that I'm the one who's teaching you all these."

"But Yul Omma, I'm your son. We should have some similarity right?"

The both of us ended up laughing as I started to read the story book to him until Manse fell asleep soon after.

Inside the bedroom,

As Yuri walked out from the bathroom, she saw that Yoona was already sprawled on the bed with a tablet in her hand. With her glasses on, Yuri knew that Yoona was looking through her office emails.

"Are you going to stay up late tonight?" Yuri asked as Yoona looked up and shook her head.

"I'll be done soon. Did Manse fell asleep after you tucked him in? He looked so tired in the car earlier." Yoona asked.

"He didn't. Actually, something happened just now." Yuri said as she started to tell Yoona about the conversation that she had with Manse earlier.

"Manse asked you that?" Yoona was also shocked to hear that from Yuri as she put her tablet aside and turned to look at Yuri.

For the next few minutes, both of them were silent as they laid down beside each other on the bed.

"Dear, do you remember the day that we had to tell Manse about his real identity a few months after we adopted him?" Yoona asked as Yuri nodded her head.

(Flashback last year)

"Are you sure we should tell him right now? Shouldn't we wait for him to grow older?" Yoona asked as she looked at Yuri before turning to face Sooyoung.

"The earlier they knew about it, the faster they can accept it. Kyungsan knew that we're adopting him even before he started living with us." Sooyoung replied.

"But Kyungsan was already 7yrs old at that time while Manse is only 5yrs old currently. Don't you think it'll be too harsh on him to know the truth?" Yoona asked as a frown formed on her face.

"I think Manse will understand it. He's a clever boy. I'm sure he'll be able to accept the truth." Yuri said just at the same time as the door opened to reveal Sunny, Kyungsan and Manse.

The 3 of them joined Yuri, Yoona and Sooyoung on the couch with the boys sitting in between their parents. At the moment the two families were at the SooSun's house after they were invited over to have dinner. It's been almost 2 months since YoonYul had adopted Manse.

"Manse, there's something that Yul Omma and Yoona Omma wanted to tell you." Yuri said as she shifted a bit so that she can look at the small boy. "Do you remember the orphanage?"

Manse nodded his head as Yuri struggled to find the right words. Silence filled the air as Yuri turned to face Sooyoung for help.

"Yul Omma, are you going to return me back to the orphanage?" Manse's question took everyone by surprised as Yoona shook her head vigorously and hugged Manse by the sides.

"Anni, anni. We'll never do that. We love you a lot, Manse-ah." Yoona said as she tried to control her cracked voice.

"Why would you even think that we would do that?" Yuri asked as she bite her lips.

"Because my real parents abandoned me there." Manse replied calmly as he turned to look at Yoona who had already started crying. "Mianhae, Yoona Omma. I didn't mean to make you cry. Please don't be sad."

"Manse-ah, who told you about that? About your real parents abandoning you there." Sooyoung asked.

"Soo Omma, actually most of the kids in the orphanage already knew about their backgrounds. Especially those who had started schooling." Kyungsan was the one who replied to Sooyoung.

"We've been teased in school about it by other students. They called us names such as parentless child or abandoned kid." Manse added on, causing more surprises for the adults.

"Was Ms Song aware of this?" Sunny asked to which Kyungsan and Manse shook their heads. "Aigooo, my poor babies."

(Back to present time)

"We were so nervous about telling him the truth but ended up, we were the one who had so much surprises in one night." Yuri said.

"But seriously, I would never had imagined that these kind of things will happen to those poor kids. They didn't even complain to Ms Song about it because they knew it was the truth. Luckily we found out and Jae handled the problem by informing the school's principal. From that day onwards, no one was bullying them." Yoona wrapped her arms around Yuri's waist.

"Jae had went through some hardships during her school time so obviously she knew how painful bullying is. But what really surprises me was how Manse was so calm and cool about it that I felt proud of him. From now on, all that he'll ever receive from us will be love, love and more love." Yuri nodded her head at her own statement.

"So will I be receiving some of your love too?" Yoona giggled as she looked up to face Yuri.

"Of course." Yuri smirked as she switched of the bedside lamps, leaving the room in total darkness. "I can even show it to you, right now."
