I walked out of the shared bathroom and called out to Sooyoung who were seated in the living room. It was her turn to take a shower. Taeyeon and Yuri had already showered since they won against us in the scissors-paper-stone game. It was one way for the four of us to decide the order of showering since we are all sharing the only bathroom in the dorm. Yuri won the game so she showered first, followed by Taeyeon, me and lastly Sooyoung. I sat on the couch with Yuri while Taeyeon were seated on the floor with a lot of papers on the table. Seems like she is going through the script for her radio programme.

"Taeng, do you have feelings for Tiffany?" I asked the question that has been bugging my mind but seeing Taeyeon's wide-eyed expression, it's so obvious what the answer was.

"How.. how.. did you know? Was I too ob..obvious?"

"You were not that obvious. It's just that I saw Tiffany had a beautiful eye-smile and I remembered you mentioning about a beautiful girl with a beautiful eye-smile when you were arguing with Yul that day."

"Really? Tiffany, the vice captain of the cheerleading team?" Yuri kept asking Taeyeon those questions. "But Taeng, I heard that Choi Siwon, is tryig to woo her."

"That's what I heard too. Don't worry. I'm not putting any hopes up though." Taeyeon sighed as she continued looking at her script.

"Who's Choi Siwon? But if you really have feelings for her, don't you think that you should give it a shot?" I looked at Taeyeon. "You'll never know unless you try. Because from the way that Tiffany looks at you, it seems like there's more to it than meet the eye."

"Jinjja? But I'm not sure if she swings that way."

"Who swings? And which way are you talking about?" Sooyoung walked in, all freshen up with a plate of fruits and sat beside Taeyeon.

"Tiffany. Taeyeon has a crush on her but she's not sure if Tiffany swings that way." Yuri replied earning a glare from Taeyeon.

"I could ask my girlfriend Sunny to check it out for you since she's staying in the same dorm as Tiffany and Jessica." Soo replied with a poker face.

I must have had a confused look on my face with a lot of questions in my head as Taeyeon started to explain to me in details. Choi Siwon is one of the popular guys in campus. He's rich, intelligent and also known to be a well-mannered guy. Sooyoung is currently dating Sunny who is the women's futsal team physiotherapist and also the dorm mate of Tiffany and Jessica. Sooyoung and Sunny have been together since 4 months ago. Sunny didn't turn up at the tryout because she had some assignments to do. As I absorbed all the infomation, I kept on nodding my head. Yuri and Sooyoung just listened along to whatever that Taeyeon was telling me. After all that explaining, we then listened to Sooyoung and Taeyeon practising on their script for their radio progamme before the 4 of us went off to bed.

Yuri came in to my room as both of us waited for SooTae's radio programme. While waiting, Yuri took my boxing gloves, put it on and played around with it, pretending to be a boxer. She was even dancing with the gloves on. I just laughed at that KkabYul.

"Jae, when did you start learning boxing?"

"When I went back to LA 3yrs ago. I was bored there, all alone with Appa busy at work. He was the one who recommended me to take up boxing. I realised that after I started learning boxing, my dribbling skills improved a lot since I was able to move my body more swiftly now."

"No wonder I saw you dribbling so fast around the cones during the tryouts. Hey, I think they are on. I heard Taeng introducing herself."

I quickly increased the radio volume as both of us silently listened to it. Since it was their first broadcast, they didn't have any confession yet from the students. They named their show as "M.A.C" which means My Anonymous Confession. Taeyeon and Sooyoung explained how it works and asked students to email them their confessions of not more than a 100 words. They will then read it out during their show along with any song requests attached to it. Sooyoung and Taeyeon was really good at talking and imitating sounds, making it fun to listen to. They also played songs in between their talks. Without me and Yuri realising, an hour has gone by. Both of us then continued chatting until Sooyoung and Taeyeon came back. We congratulated them for a job well done and also gave feedbacks on how to improve it.

I was in my last lecture class when someone tapped me on my shoulder. I turned around and saw Tiffany smiling at me.

"Hi. You're the one who saved Jessi that day, right?" I nodded my head. "We forgot to say thanks to you. By the way, I'm Tiffany and that's Jessica who is sleeping as usual." I looked at where she was pointing and saw Jessica with her head sprawled on the table.

I smiled and introduce myself. Tiffany asked how come she hasn't seen me before since both of us are already in our 2nd year. I told her my story and she said that both she and Jessica are also born in the States but they've been in Korea since 10yrs old. We chatted for awhile until the lecturer came in. Since we'll be having futsal practices later on, Tiffany asked me to go to the sports hall together with them.

Futsal and cheerleading practices are held every friday starting from 7pm to 9pm. I waited for Tiffany and Jessica near the classroom door once the lecture ends. They came up to me and once again I introduced myself to Jessica who just nodded her head lightly. We chatted along the way, mostly between me and Tiffany as Jessica just walked ahead of us. I notice that she seems to have a cold aura around her and doesn't really like to talk much compared to Tiffany. Both of them are studying in Fashion Design so I have some similar classes with them. I told them that I'm taking Interior Design and is actually a transfer student from LA university. I told them a bit of my younger days, growing up in Korea and how I was friends with Taeyeon and Yuri.

As the 3 of us walked into the sports hall, I can see Taeyeon's shocked face. I excused myself from Tiffany and Jessica to join the rest of the girls while they both went to the cheerleaders side.

"How come you are with them?" Taeyeon quickly asked when I reached her side.

"We had the same lecture just now." I replied as I looked at a short girl sitting beside Sooyoung. 'I'm guessing you must be Sunny. Annyeonghaseyo, Park Hyun Jae imnida."

"Hi Jae. Soo had told me about you before but she didn't tell me that you are actually quite good-looking for a girl."

I blushed when I heard Sunny's comment, said my thanks and quickly went off to change into my training kit. The reason why Sunny said I was good-looking instead of pretty must be becauseof my boyish style. I don't have long hairs like Yuri or Taeyeon. My hair is only shoulder length. Since I'm into sports, my body physique is almost like Yuri's. I'm usually in jeans, t-shirt and a pair of sneakers or loafers. Sometimes I'll be wearing a hooded jacket or just a checkered shirt over my t-shirt. Like what Taeyeon said before, I don't really have much fashion sense in me.

The two hours of training consists of some drills and match practices. Ms Lee commented that she's actually quite impressed with my skills and also how well I played with the team during the practice match even though it's my first time playing with the team. She said that she's aware of me, Yuri and Taeyeon being team mates before in middle school. Clara who is our senior and also the team captain agreed with what Ms Lee said. When the training ended, Ms Lee gathered us all and said that she have something to inform us.

"Girls, as you all know, this will be another new year for us. As always, we will be selecting a new vice captain since Clara who used to be the vice captain is now the captain. The previous captain had already graduated and left school. So I will need to select a new vice captain for the team. Any volunteers or suggestions?" Ms Lee looked at all the students who were looking at each other. "If there's no volunteers, I'll be selecting one of you base on your abilities. Both captain and vice-captain will then need to meet up with our cheerleading counterparts for a short meeting."

"Ms Lee, can I suggest Hyun Jae for the post?" Clara voiced out her opinion. All the students look at me as I suddenly thought of an idea. Remembering that Yuri had mentioned before about Tiffany being the vice captain of the cheerleading team, I quickly raised up my hand.

"Ms Lee, can I suggest Taeyeon for the position instead? I'm still new in the school and also with the team. But Taeyeon has already been in the team since last year and she used to be the vice captain in middle school. I can assure you that she'll do a great job."

Ms Lee looked at the shocked Taeyeon and asked her if she's okay with the suggestion. Taeyeon slowly nodded her head as I felt Yuri nudged me at the sides.

"I saw what you did there. That smirk in your face right before you raised up your hand. It's because of Tiffany right?" Yuri whispered to me. I gave her a thumbs up and we high-fived.

We were waiting for Taeyeon to finish the meeting with the cheerleaders. Yuri explain to me that there will be times that both the women and men futsal team captain and vice-captain will held meetings with the cheerleader's captain and vice captain. During competition period, the cheerleading team will be split into two groups so that they will support both women and the men teams. As I was listening to Yuri's explanation, I saw Jessica sitting at one corner of the hall. Yuri noticed that I wasn't paying attention and followed my line of vision.

"She must be waiting for her boyfriend."

I turned to look at Yuri who tilted her head to Jessica's direction. I just smiled and nodded. Yuri tell me that Jessica is currently dating one of the men's futsal team player by the name of Ok Taecyeon. Seems like they've been dating since high school. But from the way Yuri described Taecyeon, looks like she doesn't really have a good impression of the guy. I asked Yuri if Jessica always had a cold aura around her and Yuri informed me that Jessica's nickname in school is Ice princess. I continued staring at the lonely figure until I saw a guy approached her. The guy must be Taecyeon as I saw him walking out of the hall with Jessica following him behind. Soon Taeyeon and Tiffany arrived at our bench. Taeyeon seems to be a bit more hyper than usual as I smirked towards Yuri who grinned back at me.

Sooyoung suggested to go to our school's cafe for a short snack time. I guess she must have felt hungry again. Yoona and Seohyun had to excused themselves since they need to proceed home. Yuri said that she will join us after she sent the two girls to the bus stop. Both Yuri and Seohyun were not staying in the school dorms so they will travel home since their houses are nearby. Surprisingly, Hyoyeon volunteered to accompany them too. As we walked towards the cafe, Sooyoung and Sunny were walking together while Tiffany, Taeyeon and me were walking behind them.

We found a table when we reached the cafe and I volunteered to order the drinks for the girls. I dragged Taeyeon along with me to the counter.

"So... Taeng, how's the meeting?"

"It's just a normal meeting to introduce the new vice captain of both the women and the men team. Everything was actually fine until that Ok Taecyeon had to come out with all sorts of stupid ideas." I was trying to remember where I've heard of that name when Yuri came up to us.

"Ok Taecyeon is the vice captain? I really pity the men team. That guy is like super competitive, I can imagine him asking the team to come back for training on weekends too."

"That was exactly what he suggested earlier. That guy is so full of himself. He said that if he can keep up with all the training, the rest of us should be able to do so. I don't understand what Jessica sees in him. Anyway, Tiffany was able to knock some sense into him. She's really good at it." Both me and Yuri watched as Taeyeon continued complimenting Tiffany.

"Hey Taeng, you should be thankful to Jae. She gave up the post so that you can get closer to Tiffany."

"Really? You mean you purposely suggested me for the post because of Tiffany?"

"That was part of it. I suggested you because I knew you had leadership qualities in you. By the way, how come Yuri already knew that Tiffany was the vice captain way before today? I thought all the vice captain are freshly selected."

"That's because the cheerleading team captain last year, withdrew early from the team due to her studies so Tiffany was selected last year to replace the vice captain who is now the cheerleading team captain. Taeng, did you manage to get anything from Tiffany just now?"

Taeyeon then took out a piece of pink note from her pocket and showed us Tiffany's phone number written on it. She was grinning dorkily as the two of us just shake our heads. We went back to the table with the orders and chatted together with the rest of the girls until it was time to return to the dorms. I walked back with Yuri since Sooyoung and Taeyeon went off to send Sunny and Tiffany back to their dorms first.
