Jessica's POV:

Did me and Tiff went overboard with our 'punishment' for Jae and Taeng? We knew that both of them weren't exactly oogling at us earlier but we decided to tease them for showing their erted side. When me and Tiff whispered to each other about what we should do to teach them a lesson, we didn't think that dragging them to accompany us shopping was a bad idea. But I think we got too engrossed shopping that we've been doing it non-stop for 5hrs. Honestly, we weren't even aware that our girlfriends had been carrying so many paper bags until the rest of the girls pointed it out when we met up with them later on. Jae mentioned about me and Tiff, flirting with the waiter. Had we really gone too far? Seeing Jae walking away towards Taeng's room while she was massaging her forearm, made me felt guilty.

"You girls flirted with the waiter in front of Jae and Taeng?" Uncle Ken asked.

"It wasn't flirting. We were just being friendly." Tiffany tried to sound defensive.

"Friendly? Asking for the guy's number and asking if he's already taken doesn't sound friendly to me." Taeyeon rebutted while crossing her arms. "Sica, you told the guy that he was your ideal type but at least you didn't say that you wish you could have a boyfriend like him, just like how someone did." Taeyeon stared at Tiffany before walking away.

"Did you both really said that to the waiter, in front of your girlfriends and the rest of the girls?" Uncle Ken asked as both Tiffany and Jessica nodded their heads. "In that case, I would have to agree with Jae that this had really gone too far. How long did you both went shopping anyway?"

"5hrs." Tiffany and Jessica replied at the same time.

"Jinjja? 5hrs? You mean Jae and Taeng had been carrying all those for 5hrs?" Uncle Ken pointed to the paper bags that was scattered on the floor. "I want you both to go and carry all those bags up to Jae's room right now."

Jessica and Tiffany went to collect the paper bags but then they realised that it was getting impossible for them to carry all of it because of the weight even though they only had about 20 bags each. Jessica and Tiffany looked at each and both of them had a confused look.

"You girls must be wondering how your girlfriends managed to carry all of that when you're already struggling with only 20 bags each. I wonder how sore their arms are by now. Especially Jae since she still need to drive all of you back home." Uncle Ken said as he arched his eyebrow to Jessica.

"Appa, you're making me feel bad." Jessica pouted as she looked down to the floor.

"Well, you should. All Jae and Taeng did were to stare at both of you, admiring your beauty but both of you made them go around the mall for 5hrs with so many paper bags and even went to the extend of flirting with a stranger in front of them. If you both don't feel bad about it, I've got no other comments. Anyway, let me help you girls with that." Uncle Ken went to pick up the remaining 20 paper bags that were on the floor and walked up to Jae's room with the 2 guilty looking girls following him behind.

Inside Taeyeon's room

I was resting against the headrest when Taeyeon walked in. She grinned dorkily as she joined me on the bed.

"What's with that grin?" I asked Taeyeon who grabbed a pillow in front of her.

"I told them off about them flirting with that waiter. I still can't believe that Fany actually said that to him in front of me. But seeing her guilty face just now, made me almost want to hug her." Taeyeon hugged the pillow instead.

"They must be feeling bad right now." I said to Taeyeon as I stood up and stretched myself. "If Fany plans to apologise later, don't be too hard on her. It was our fault in the first place for staring at them and making ourselves sound like erts. Even though I know you're one." I chuckled as I walked away.

"Yah!! I was not even admiring Sica. I was just telling you about her melons. Can't believe the two of them misunderstood us. You've got a beautiful girlfriend and so do I. Why do I even have to oogle at yours when I can oogle at mine." Taeyeon sighed as she shook her head. "By the way, where are you going?"

"I'm going off to the pool." I answered Taeyeon as I almost reached the door. "I'm expecting Fany to come down here to look for you and I don't want to be in your way."

"You're going to swim? Doesn't your arms hurt at all? I feel like mine is going to drop off from my shoulders soon." Taeyeon said as she started to massage her arms.

"Not swimming. Just want to chill and do some stargazing for a while." I gave Taeyeon a thumbs up before walking out from the room.

Inside Jae's room

After Uncle Ken left the room, the girl sat on the bed and looked at each other.

"Jessi, should we go and apologise for our actions to Taetae and Jae?"

"Right now, I kind of feel scared to face Jae. What if my words earlier had hurt her so bad that she doesn't want to forgive me?" Jessica pouted as she rested her chin on her palm.

"We still have to apologise. I admit that I went too far with my flirting. I'm going down to look for my Taetae. Are you coming with me?" Tiffany asked Jessica as she stood up from the bed.

"Nae." Jessica followed Tiffany out of the room.

Taeyeon's POV:

I was about to lie down to sleep when I heard knocks at my door. After asking the person to come in, I sat up straight when I saw Fany and Sica walking in. Both of them were looking down as they walked into the room. With my arms folded across my chest, I waited for their further actions. I had my poker face on, trying to supress my true emotion.

"Taetae, I'm sorry for what I did and said earlier. I didn't mean it at all and it was really not my intention to hurt you in any way." Tiffany said as she looked up to face Taeyeon.

Taeyeon just kept quiet and shrugged her shoulders as she lay down on the bed, pulling the blanket along with her. Pretending to sleep, she took a pillow to quickly cover her head. The truth is, she was trying to control her grin from being seen by the two girls.

"Taetae-ah, why aren't you forgiving me?" Taeyeon felt Tiffany shaking her whole body as Tiffany stood by the side of the bed. "Aaarrgghhh!!"

Tiffany was shocked when Taeyeon suddenly grabbed her by the waist and pulled her onto the bed. Taeyeon grinned at her girlfriend and pinched her cheeks. "Don't do that again, understand." Taeyeon said with a firm tone as Tiffany nodded her head.

"Sorry to disturb both of you but where's Jae?"

Taeyeon turned to face Jessica who was now standing by the door. Taeyeon sat up again and grinned dorkily. "What if I don't want to tell you?"

"Then you won't get to see the sunlight tomorrow." Jessica replied as she folded her arms and gave Taeyeon an icy glare.

"Jae's chilling by the pool." Taeyeon quickly answered as Jessica turned to walk away. "Fany-ah, why is your friend so scary?"

"I heard that Kim Taeyeon." Jessica's voice could be heard along the hallway as Tiffany giggled at the shocked Taeyeon.

At the poolside,

I was lying down on the reclining chair, staring at the sky with both arms behind my head when I heard the sliding door opened. I knew who it was without even have to see as I waited for her further actions.

"Jaegi?"

Her voice was soft filled with guilt as I felt her walking closer. "Hhhmmmm..." I replied as I continued to stare at the sky.

"Jaegi, are you angry with me?"

I heard her voice quivered a little as I turned to face her. The moment our eyes met, Jessica bite her lips and looked down while she fiddled with her fingers. I straightened myself up and turned my whole body to face her.

"Sicababy, look at me." Jessica looked up as I saw her eyes glistening with tears that was about to fall anytime soon. "Come here." I shifted my body and patted the space in between my legs.

Jessica made her way slowly and sat down as I gave her a backhug. I leaned my forehead against her back as both of us just let the silence engulf us.

"I used to come here to chill at night when I can't sleep or when there's something troubling my mind. The sound of the water from the pool, the silence of the night and the beautiful display of stars in the sky calms me down a lot. Omma used to accompany me during those times and I'll tell her all of my troubles. She'll just listen to them attentively. The funny thing is by the end of it, I would have come up with a solution to settle my problems. We'll then spend the night stargazing until it was time to sleep."

"I wish I could have met your Omma, Jaegi." Jessica turned her body to the sides to face me.

"I'm certain that Omma would have really liked you a lot. The girl who had stolen my heart but  doesn't see me as her ideal type." I grinned as I saw Jessica pouting. I tightened my grip around her waist as I heard Jessica sighing.

"I'm sorry, Jaegi. I didn't mean to go overboard with my actions and my words."

"I know. But I will only accept my apology if you agree to do something for me." I said as I gave Jessica a cheeky grin.

Seeing Jessica nodding her head. I asked her to stand up as I dragged her to my room. After putting all the paper bags to one side of the room, I sat on my bed and started to remove my long sleeve shirt, leaving me in just my white plain tshirt. I noticed Jessica had a shocked expression on her as she started to look away.

"Sicababy, why are you still standing there?"

"Jaegi, I don't think I'm ready for this yet. I mean... I do love you but.. I don't think.. it's time yet.. I'm.. not sure I can do this."

"You can't do it? Jinjja? Then it's okay. I'll just ask Taeng to help me then." I was about to wear my shirt back when Jessica suddenly pushed me to the bed.

"How could you do this to me? How could you simply just ask someone else so easily? Have you done this with Taeng before?" Jessica was glaring at me suddenly.

"Of course. When we need to do it, we always find each other. Sometimes Yuri will help out too."

"What? You even do ? Oh my god."

"Mwo? ? Yah!! Sica!! What are you thinking about?" I stood up suddenly, forcing Jessica to step back a bit."Wait a minute. Did you just misunderstood my actions? You thought I wanted to do 'it' with you, am I right?"

I asked Jessica who had then realised that she might have misunderstood me. As I waited for her reply, Jessica scratched the back of her neck and slowly nodded. Seeing her answer, I burst out laughing and rolled on my bed.

"Yah, Sica. I only wanted you to help me massage my sore arms."

"But you removed your long sleeve shirt and..." Jessica stopped her sentence midway as she realised that I needed to remove my shirt so that she'll be able to massage my arms.

I continued laughing at Jessica especially when she turned red due to her embarassment. Jessica covered her face and turned her body away from me. Sensing that Jessica was pouting at the moment, I stopped laughing and sat in the middle of the bed.

"Sicababy, mianhae. You're just too cute." I said as Jessica turned around to face. "So, would you be able to massage my sore arms now?" I stretched our my arms at her and pouted, showing my aegyo at her.

Without saying anything, Jessica climbed up to the bed and sat in front of me. As she started to slowly massage one of my arms, I leaned forward and kissed her lightly on the lips. Jessica was taken aback by my actions but she just bite her lips and looked at me.

"Gomawo. For massaging my arms. And since your parents had gave us their blessings, that would be our 2nd kiss to one another." I smiled warmly at her. "Let's just go to sleep. Both of us are already tired." I yawned as Jessica nodded her head.

Uncle Ken brought me, Jessica and Omoni out for lunch the day before his departure. Uncle Ken would be flying back to LA on new year's eve and I can see how reluctant he was to fly back there. He wasn't as talkative during lunch and he seemed to be spacing out.

"Appa Ken, I think I know why Sica is always caught spacing out. She learns it from you." I chuckled at my own remark before I felt a stinging pain on my thigh, thanks to a slap from Jessica who was seated beside me. "What's on your mind, Appa Ken?"

"I was just thinking about me having to celebrate New Year by myself." Before I could reply to him, he continued talking. "Your Appa would've felt lonely too."

I pouted and frown when I thought about what Uncle Ken said.

"What if we all go there to celebrate New Year with Appa Park?" Jessica suddenly suggested as I blinked my eyes at her. "You must be thinking, why didn't you think of that. Right, Jaegi?"

I nodded my head as I grinned dorkily at her before both of us turned around to face Uncle Ken and Omoni. Uncle Ken smiled at us and nodded his head, a sign that he agreed with Jessica's idea. The 3 of us then looked to Omoni as we waited for her decision.

"I'm not sure if I could get away from the company since it's going to be a busy period." I saw Jessica sighing as I grabbed her hands and entwined it with mine. "But I'm the boss so it shouldn't be a problem. Anyway, it's been a long time since I last travelled out of the country."

Jessica let out her dolphin scream as she stood up and went to her Omma's side to give the elderly lady a hug. After that, she went to her Appa and did the same. I just smiled widely as I saw how happy Jessica was as she sat down at her seat. Lunch became livelier after that as all of us was excited to go home to pack our bags.

As I drove Jessica and Omoni to their house, Uncle Ken made our flight arrangements and also informed Appa about it. Before Jessica left the car, I reminded her to pack thicker clothes since the weather could get really cold in LA. I didn't really have to pack much of my clothes since I'm just going back to my house when I'm there. As I didn't have anything much to do, I went to Appa's room where Uncle Ken had been using for the past few days.

"Appa Ken, do you need any help?"

"It's okay, Jae. I'm almost done here but I don't mind having some company in the meantime."

I walked into the room and climbed on the bed while Uncle Ken continued to fold the clothes into his luggage as he sat on the floor in the middle of the room.

"Appa Ken, can I ask you something?" He nodded his head. "You and Omoni are not in a marriage relationship at the moment since you've divorced before. So do you have any plans to propose to Omoni again?"

"Come to think of it, I've not actually thought about that yet." Uncle Ken paused for a while as he looked up to the ceiling. "Do you think I should propose again, Jae?"

"Well, if you ask me, I think you should. Even though both of you knew that you still love each other until now, going through a re-marriage would be good idea." I saw Uncle Ken nodding his head as he smiled at me.

"Thanks for the suggestion, Jae. I'll think about it soon but you'll help me out if I need any help, right?" I nodded my head to Uncle Ken and showed him a thumbs up. "Go and get some rest, Jae. We'll be taking an early flight tomorrow."

I've never felt so excited about flying before. But having Jessica travelling with me for the first time, made it more enjoyable for me. I was seated beside Jessica while Uncle Ken and Omoni sat in front of us. I didn't realised that I've been smiling since we arrived at the airport until Jessica asked me about it.

"Jaegi, what's with you and that grin? You've been having that dorky grin since you and Appa came over to pick me and Omma up."

"I'm just too happy and excited at the same time. Do you realise that this is our first time travelling together?" I smiled widely at Jessica.

"That's true. This is also my first time travelling in Prestige/Business Class. Usually I'll be in the Economy Class." Jessica replied as she started to look around the seat.

"Don't worry, as long as you're travelling with me, you'll only be seating in the Prestige Class or the First Class. Although for the First Class, you can only ride it if I'm on a business trip."

"Business trip? But I thought you're still studying?" Jessica looked at me with a confused expression.

Before I could reply her question, Uncle Ken turned behind to answer it. "Jae's not talking about now, Sooyeon. Soon I guess. Since Jae would've to handle some of her dad's business too. Her Appa would usually travel in First Class when he's on a business trip.But when he travels for leisure, it'll be the Prestige Class."

"But why the need to travel differently?" Jessica turned to me for an answer.

"Appa said there's a need to travel in First Class when on business trip to reflect our credibility but when it's for leisure, Prestige Class is good enough." I explained it all to Jessica who nodded her head. "By the way, let me show you something."

I showed Jessica on how to operate the seats and she suddenly got excited when she saw that the seat can transform to a bed-like seat. She couldn't stop giggling at her new found knowledge as she prepared to go to sleep.

"Sicababy, it's still too early to sleep. The flight attendants will be serving us our breakfast soon. Maybe after that you can sleep." I smiled at her who was now pouting.

"But I'm still sleepy. Appa, next time don't choose morning flights when we go travelling. I need my sleep." Jessica said out loud to her Appa who then turned around to face her.

"Next time, just ask Jae to buy for you a private plane so you can travel anytime you want." Uncle Ken laughed at his own remarks.

"Yeobo, don't teach your daughter all the bad things. She shouldn't be pampered with wealth since Jae herself is not pampeed with luxury. What will Soo Ri oppa think of Jessica if she does that?" Omoni voiced out her concern as me and Jessica just listened.

"Why are you worried about what Hyung thinks of our daughter? Hyung already accepted Sooyeon as her daughter-in-law. He told me that himself before he flew back that day." Uncle Ken was smiling with pride.

"Appa, Omma. Stop talking about it. You're making me embarassed." Jessica said as she covered her face.

I just smiled while looking at Jessica.Luckily our seats were separated in the middle. If not, I would have given her a hug for her cuteness. Just as I expected, the flight attendant came with our breakfast. Jessica fed me a spoonful of her western breakfast which was different from mine. Once we're done, Jessica decided to sleep as she pressed the button to make her seat reclined. I decided to watch a movie instead as I wasn't feeling sleepy. I was about to put on my headphone when I saw Jessica's hand flapping at the middle section of our seats. I turned to face Jessica and saw her smiling at me.

"You're not sleeping?" I shook my head. "Then I'll stay up with you."

She was about to press the buttons for the seat when I stopped her. "It's okay, Sicababy. You just go ahead and take a nap first. I know you're still sleepy." I saw Jessica pouting as she laid down back. I then arched my body forward and kissed her on her forehead. "Sweet dreams."

"Next time, let's just take the economy class when we travel together. At least I can hug you to sleep instead of having this divider between us." Jessica pouted as I gently her hair. "Go and watch your movie, Jaegi. You're going to hurt your back if you keep bending it forward."

As I continued to put on my headphone, I glanced at Jessica who had made herself comfortable again as she closed her eyes to take a nap. She had turned her body to face my direction, so I was able to see her face when she slept. Soon the lights in the fllight was slowly turned off to give a better sleeping environment for the passenger. I watched the movie until it ended before reclining my chair to get some sleep.

I saw Appa waving at us excitedly the moment we stepped out from the arrival hall. I saw how wide he smiled as he hugged Uncle Ken and greeted Omoni. When he came up to me, I gave him a hug too as I asked him why he looked super hyper.

"I'm just excited that you all are here. I thought that I'll be celebrating New Year by myself, all alone." Appa tried to make a sad aegyo face as I frowned at him while Jessica just giggled at him.

"You've to thank Sooyeon for that. She was the one who suggested for us to come here and celebrate it together." Uncle Ken proudly said it.

"That's my daughter-in-law. At least she thinks of me. Not like my own daughter." Appa pouted again as I squinted my eyes at him.

I knew Appa was just pretending to be upset as I just rolled my eyes at him. "Appa, stop pretending to be upset. You sound like a spoilt brat."

Appa ended up laughing as the rest of them joined in. We continued pulling our luggage out as Appa showed us the way to where our driver was waiting.

Even though it was the 2nd time that Jessica had entered a limo, she was still mesmerised by it. I can see her eyes wandering around the interior of the car as Appa offered some drinks to Omoni and Uncle Ken.

"Appa Park, you really love Bentley cars is it? Because your car in Korea is also a Bentley." Jessica asked.

"It's a comfortable car but I only used the limo when there's a lot of guests coming. I don't use it for work though." Appa smiled at Jessica who nodded her head.

"Appa used the Bentley Mulsanne to work. Another Bentley to his collections." I said as I meronged at Appa.

We sent Uncle Ken, Jessica and Omoni back to Uncle Ken's condominium for them to unpack and get some rest. Appa made arrangement to meet them again for lunch at our house as the limo drove off after we dropped them at the lobby. I chatted with Appa while on the way home as I told him about Uncle Ken's thoughts of getting re-married to Omoni.

The first thing I did when I reached home was to slam myself on my bed as I doze off to sleep due to the jetlag. Knowing that Jessica was in the same city as me, put me at ease as I hugged my pillow.
