I unwrapped my arms around Jessica and sat up straight. Looking straight at the sea view ahead, I sighed and rubbed the sides of my temples. From the corner of my eyes, I could see that Jessica was looking anxiously at me.

"Jaegi, if you..."

"Shall we go outside for a while? The weather is not as hot now and I need to get some fresh air." I said as I smiled at Jessica who slowly nodded her head.

Jessica went out from the car first as I had to switch off the engine. She was already a distance away when I was done locking up the car. Running after her who was walking towards the flight of steps which was facing the river side, I grabbed her hands and clasped them.

"Sicababy, why didn't you wait for me?" I panted as I had my tongue sticking out.

"I thought you're angry with me. That's why you said that you needed some fresh air." Jessica bite her lips and looked down.

"Anni. I'm not angry with you. I'm just shocked and I don't know why but I felt a bit suffocated in the car. Maybe because I was reminded of the past." I said as I lifted up her chin so that Jessica would face me. "You are suppose to stay beside me at all times, remember?" I pouted before breaking into a grin.

"I'm sorry. I thought that you were upset with my request earlier and wanted some time alone to think." Jessica said.

"Communication, Sicababy. You shouldn't keep those thoughts inside. If you think I'm upset with you, ask me directly. Furthermore, if I had wanted some time alone, I won't have asked you that question earlier. I would have just walked out from the car and leave you alone." I said as I pulled her into a hug. "It's true that I needed some time to think but not alone. I want to do it with you, by my side."

We took a seat on the concrete steps as I placed both my palms flat on the cold steps, behind my back. It was already 5pm so the sun was no longer bright with clouds passing through the sky as it was windy.

Jessica brought herself closer to me and wrapped her right arm around my waist and lean her head on my left shoulder. "What's on your mind, Jaegi?"

I turned my head and kissed her forehead. "I was trying to think back about the past. About what could have caused everything to go wrong and Seohyun's question kept popping out. Was I really the cause of my own mishaps? If it's really so, I could never forgive myself for what happened to Omma. The time where she lost her sights temporarily was really a frustrating period for me, Appa and even herself."

"But Jaegi, it's a choice that Uee made. You didn't expect her to react in such a way after your rejection anyway so I don't think it's your fault." Jessica let go of her arms around me and turned her head. "Which is why I want you to meet her up. I feel that there is a need to clear all your doubts and misunderstandings with her."

"I'll think about it, okay? But if I do meet her, you'll accompany me, right?" I asked Jessica who smiled at me.

"Of course. I've to be there to make sure that she's not stealing my Jaegi away from me." Jessica pouted before chuckling to herself.

I smiled and stood up suddenly, causing Jessica to look at me with a confused expression. I walked behind Jessica and sat down with her in between my legs. Wrapping my arms around her waist, I gave her a backhug and placed my chin on her right shoulder.

"Did you know that this is my favourite position whenever I'm with you? Having you in my arms with both of us looking out to the same direction made me feel like we're looking at our future together and that you'll always be with me." I said.

Jessica pulled her head slightly away from mine and kissed my left cheek. "I love this position too. It makes me feel protected and loved by you but this is not my favourite position of us." Jessica said before she broke into a cheeky smirk. "My favourite position is when I lie beside you on the bed with my head on your shoulders and my hand on your y abs."

"Yah!! Since when did you turn into a ert? ByunSica." I said as I shook my head while Jessica just covered to stifle her laughter. "Is that all you're bothered with, Sicababy? Because I think there's more."

It took Jessica some time before she finally answered my question. "Ailee." Jessica then turned her body sideways so that her back was now leaning against my left leg that I had bend so as to support her.

"Talking about Ailee, I'm still confuse as to why you ask me to send her back that night when she could have hitch a ride with Soo or Hyo. I knew you were not comfortable with her being close to me but your actions were contradicting to your feelings." I had a frown on my face as I saw Jessica sighing.

"If I had choose to be selfish, I won't even have suggested it but I saw the way Ailee answered the question when all of you ask her to hitch a ride with Soo or Hyo. She glanced at you for a moment before declining the suggestion. I didn't want to be selfish especially at times like that when it's late at night and it's dangerous for her to travel back alone. She's more comfortable with you compared to the rest of the girls which is why I ask you to send her back." Jessica explained herself as I felt myself once again mesmerised with her personality.

"But don't you feel jealous or scared at all? I mean both me and Ailee were alone the whole time." I asked, trying to understand her better.

"Only God knows how much I was hating myself for suggesting it but to a certain extent, it gave me time to reflect on my insecurities. I know I'm the jealous type and will sometimes be unreasonable but there are times that I will think it through. No matter what, Ailee is still our friend. Even if she has got feelings for you, I should never put her in any sort of danger. It was almost 1am when we left the pub, remember?" I nodded my head. "You've said to me a few times that you only see Ailee as a friend so it shouldn't matter to me even if she's falling for you, right?"

I smiled at Jessica as I leaned in to kiss her on her lips. "I thought I've found enough reasons as to why I love you but you've never stop to amaze me by giving me more reasons to fall in love with you with each passing day."

Jessica blushed as she turned around to the original position, allowing me to backhug her again as we stayed in that position for the next 1hr until we heard a growling sound coming from Jessica's stomach.

"Omo.. Is there a war going on in your stomach?" I giggled as Jessica pouted and pinched my arm. "Okay, okay.. I'll stop laughing. Let's go and grab our dinner then."

"Jaegi, can we have dinner with the rest of the girls? After what happened between the two of us, I want to thank them for helping out and also apologise to them especially to Sunny and Soo for my harsh words." Jessica looked at me with a solemn expression.

"Gwenchana. I'll call Taeng and check if the girls are at the dorm. Will dinner at the school cafetaria be okay with you?" I smiled as Jessica nodded her head.

Talking out my phone, I gave Taeyeon a call and made some arrangements with her. Lucky for us, most of the girls were in the dorm except for YoonYul who had went out for an evening jog. Taeyeon said that she will inform Yuri about it and told me to just wait for everyone at the cafetaria.

"Okay. Everything's settled, Sicababy. We'll take about an hour to reach back to school. I guess that will be enought time for Taeng to inform everyone. Let's go." I stood up and held up my hand to pull Jessica up before both of us walked back to my car.

"I would like to apologise for my harsh words especially to Sunny and Soo." Everyone were looking at Jessica who was fidgeting and looking nervous.

The girls had just finished their dinner and were having their favourite dessert, patbingsu, when Jessica suddenly stood up and called for their attention.

"I knew my choice of words was insensitive but I really didn't meant it to come out that way. I was feeling frustrated and had lost my temper at that moment. Even so, all of you were willing to help me out and even made me realise my mistake. So please forgive me and thank you for the help." Jessica bite her lips as she looked around the table to see some smiles and frowns on the girls expressions.

"Well, me and Soo didn't really took it to heart with your false accusation. We knew you were angry and we understand where you're coming from so both of us are okay with it." Sunny said as Sooyoung just nodded her head.

"That's because both of them trusted each other. But your lack of trust in Jae is actually quite upsetting for me and Taeng." Yuri said as she folded her arms and looked at Jessica. Taeyeon who was seated beside her nodded her head.

"Both of us had known Jae much longer than anyone here. Even though she's never been in a relationship before, we will never doubt her sense of loyalty. Frankly speaking, me and Yul are no longer confident that you're the right girl for Jae." Taeyeon said with a serious expression, making Jessica looked down.

"Guys, that's enough." I looked at Taeyeon and Yuri as I stood up and wrapped my arms on Jessica's shoulders. "Gwenchana? Don't take it to heart. They're just joking around."

I tried to pull Jessica down to take a seat but she slowly took my arms away. Lowering her head in a bowing position, Jessica spoke up.

"I'm sorry for my behaviour." As Jessica stood up straight, I saw her watery eyes. "I really love Jae a lot and I know my lack of trust in her had made her upset  a few times. That's because I'm afraid of losing her. Being with someone as great as Jae is a blessing but at the same time, nerve wreaking. I'm always afraid that someone better than me will come and take her away from me. I'm sorry if I have a lot of insecurities in this relationship but Jae is someone that I can't leave without."

As Jessica sat down, she wrapped her arms around my waist and leaned her head on my shoulders with her face hiding in my jacket. From her body movement, I knew she was sobbing quietly. I patted her head softly as I eyed both Taeyeon and Yuri. The two of them looked at me with a guilty expression and mouthed the word 'mianhae'. I sighed as the atmosphere became quiet.

"Jessi, don't cry. I think Taetae and Yul just wanted to make sure that you understand their concern. As friends, we obviously want what is best for one another. Seeing how you've spoken up your mind and telling us what you really feel about Jae, it's actually a good start. Now we can understand where your jealousy is coming from." Tiffany spoke softly as I showed a thumbs up to her.

"If I were in your position, I would feel insecure too. Even Yeonnie had admitted to me that she's had a small crush on Jae before." Seohyun's confession shocked everyone at the table, even Jessica who turned to look at Hyoyeon.

"Wae? Don't act like you all don't admire Jae one way or another." Hyoyeon said with a poker face as she pointed to Taeyeon, Yuri and Sooyoung as they grinned awkwardly to each other.

"Wait a minute. All of you have a crush on Jae?" Jessica's panic voice caused everyone to look at her.

"It's not really a crush. More like an admiration. Truth is I admire Jae's ability in swimming. I don't seem to be able to beat her in that." Yuri said as she scratched her head.

"I had admired Jae's futsal skills and her leadership qualities since middle school. She's like my inspiration." Taeyeon said as she grinned dorkily.

"For me is her dancing skills. Even though she's not as good as me, she's not that bad compared to the rest" Hyoyeon said with a smirk before chuckling when Sooyoung, Yuri and Taeyeon glared at her.

"And for me, it's her ability to play different kind of musical instruments." Sooyoung said as she saluted at me while I just giggled at her actions.

"I... I can't believe that you all have that kind of admiration for her. But you don't have feelings for her right?" Jessica asked, causing the girls to scrunch up their faces.

"Sicababy, I think their feelings are only for their girlfriends." I said as Hyoyeon, Sooyoung, Yuri and Taeyeon nodded their heads vigorously. "Anyway, jealousy doesn't translate to insecurity. Jealousy is love. Uncontrollable love."

I saw Jessica blushing with my cheesiness while the 4 girls stopped nodding their heads and scrunched their faces again.

"I think I'm going to be envious of Sica soon." Yoona said as she put her right palm under her chin.

"With the way Jae is treating her like a princess, a lot of girls will start to imagine themselves as Sica." Seohyun added on with a serious expression.

By then Yuri and Hyoyeon were already pouting as they just looked at their girlfriends who were staring at me and Jessica.

"Or worse still, they will start to compare their partners to Jae." Sunny said causing Sooyoung to join the pouting team.

"But even so, our girlfriends are still the best and the only one for us. Am I right, girls?" Tiffany's statement caused Seohyun, Yoona and Sunny to agree with it completely as each of them gave their girlfriends a peck on the cheek.

I laughed when I saw the shocked expressions on Taeyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung and Hyoyeon. It was the first time that I saw them blushing at the same time. I felt Jessica's arms around my waist again as she leaned close to my ears.

"Saranghae. Neomu neomu saranghae." Jessica whispered into my ears, causing me to grin like an idiot.

"I love you very much too." I said as I turned to kiss Jessica on her forehead.

"How was it?" Jessica asked.

Nodding my head as I tried to swallow the food, I only managed to show her a thumbs up.

"Yah!! Can't you at least give me a taste of it? It looks delicious." Sooyoung said as she her lips.

"Andwae." I replied as I swallowed the food in my mouth. "You were laughing at me when I told you that Sica is going to bring dinner for me so you can't taste this delicious tofu soybean stew, served with white rice." I meronged at her.

"Sunny Bunny, why didn't you cook for me too?" Sooyoung pouted.

"Yah shikshin. You know I can't cook and we just came back from our dinner. Furthermore, I came to the library straight after my last class." Sunny said as she glared at her forever hungry girlfriend while me and Jessica just laughed at the sulking Sooyoung.

Me and Sunny had went to do our revision since 5pm at the library. Jessica had told me beforehand that she had wanted to cook dinner for me so when Sooyoung came to meet us at 6pm and asked me to join her and Sunny for dinner, I had declined them. When I told Sooyoung that Jessica would be cooking and bringing my dinner later, she had laughed it off. Jessica came over at around 7pm and when the two of us had just settled down at the bench outside the library, Sooyoung and Sunny joined us after they came back from the cafetaria.

When I was halfway done eating, I decided to give Sooyoung a taste of the stew. She ate the first spoonful and her expression was of total surprise. I fed her another spoonful and told her that it was the last one.

"Wow, are you sure you cook this, Sica? I'm surprise that it's edible." Sooyoung said as I showed a fist at her. "Just kidding. It's actually quite good."

I smiled proudly as I quickly finished up the food before Sooyoung asked for more. Jessica also brought her share and had given some to Sunny to taste it. I saw Sooyoung eyeing Jessica's portion as I kicked her knee under the table.

"Yah, stop staring at Sica's food. You've already ate your dinner right? Do you know how long she took to cook dinner for me?" I asked as Sooyoung shrugged her shoulders. "2hrs. That's why the food taste so nice."

Both me and Sooyoung ended up laughing while Jessica pinched me on my arms.

"Yah, Park Hyun Jae. How can you tease me after the effort that I took to cook dinner for you? I knew I took longer than I'm suppose to but it's not everyday that I cook." Jessica pouted.

"Mianhae. Please don't take it to heart. Can't I tease my own girlfriend? Anyway, I've finished up the food that you've brought for me. It means that it was really delicious. Gomawo, Sicababy." I said as I smiled proudly at her.

"But Sica, this is really good. No offense but after that tuna sandwich that you made for us, I really had doubt on your cooking skills." Sunny said as she wiped with a tissue.

"I've learned how to cook from my mum during the summer break. My Appa likes to eat home-cooked meal so I always help her out. But it doesn't taste as good as hers and I took a long time to finish cooking too." Jessica pouted.

"No wonder Uncle Ken likes to dine at my place whenever he's free when both of us were in LA. You may not be as good as your mum but I believe you'll improve soon. For now, I'm already thankful of the effort that you took to prepare all this." I said sincerely as I saw Jessica smiling sweetly. "Let's pack up and get back to studying. Appa send me some materials that is useful for my assignments so I need to go through them."

Ever since the talk that I had with Jessica, I had followed her advice to talk to Appa about my studies. Initially, Appa was shocked that I would actually come to him for help. He said that he never expected me to do so and that he's been waiting for the day that I would actually ask for his help. Appa said that I've been so independant since young that he wished that I would rely on him sometimes.

It's already 8pm when we resumed our revision. I shared the materials that Appa had emailed to me with Sunny so that both of us could discuss it over. Jessica had asked her classmate who will be her co-model to meet her at the library too so that both of them can discuss about their outfit that Tiffany had drafted out. This was actually the 3rd time that all of us had gathered together but the first time that we would be meeting Jessica's classmate.

"Excuse me. Jessica?"

A manly voice was heard as all of us looked up to see a nervous looking guy who was smiling awkwardly at us. Jessica stood up and shaked his hands, gesturing him to take a seat beside her. Jessica then told him to introduce himself to everyone.

"Annyeonghaseyo, my name is Yesung. I'm Jessica's classmate who will be working with her and Tiffany on their design project. I'll be modelling with our pretty Jessica here for their couple clothing design." Yesung smiled widely before turning to look at Jessica and smirked at her.

Jessica was seated between me and Yesung while Sunny was seated opposite me with Sooyoung in front of Jessica. After Yesung's self-introduction, the 3 of us introduced ourselves to him. Yesung seemed to be a friendly guy as it took him only a short time to get comfortable with us. All of us continued our revision with me and Sunny discussing about our assignments, Sooyoung was going through the materials for her radioshow while Jessica and Yesung discussed on their design.

Throughout the whole session, I couldn't stop myself from stealing glances at Jessica and Yesung. Their interactions with each other seemed to be too comfortable in my eyes. It made me feel uneasy and a little jealous. I was pretending to twist my body to the right side when Jessica turned to look at me. I grinned dorkily at her when I saw her squinting her eyes at me.

"Wae?" I asked nervously with a small giggle.

Jessica leaned in and whispered in my ears. "Stop being jealous. It's too obvious."

My reaction of pulling my body slightly apart from her with a shocked expression, made Jessica giggled as she covered . I pouted and stuck out my tongue at her before looking back at my papers.

We ended the session at 11pm and parted ways with Yesung at the library entrance. He had to turn left towards the male dorms while the rest of us will be heading to the right. Sunny and Sooyoung were walking ahead of us since Jessica took some time to bid Yesung goodbye earlier. We were walking in silence when Jessica entwined our hands.

"So were you really jealous earlier?"

I turned to face Jessica who had a teasing smile on her face. "Of course. I mean who won't. That Yesung guy was practically drooling over you. He even called you pretty which is a fact that I don't deny but still, he should have been more discreet in his actions." I started to rumble on about my dissatisfaction.

"You should have been more discreet with your actions too." Sunny said as she turned to point at me. "You were doing funny actions just to catch a glimpse of what both Sica and her friend were doing."

"That was entertaining to watch actually. I couldn't even concentrate on my script for the radioshow when Jae kept trying to twist her body towards Sica's direction like every 10mins, especially her random actions of stretching out her arms with her eyes stealing glances at Sica." Sooyoung added as she and Sunny continued walking while laughing away.

"Yah!! I was just making sure that everything is going smoothly for Sica." I said as I sneered at the SooSun couple. "Anyway, is he going to join us again for our next studying session?"

"Anni.. This is the only time that I will need to discuss with him. So far he has agreed to the designs so what's left is to get the clothings ready, photoshoot and lastly, submission. That's all." Jessica explained as I nodded my head.

By then, we had already reached our dorms and just when Jessica was about to open her dorm door, the door was opened from inside with an excited looking Tiffany smiling at us.

"Jessi!! Guess what? Our professor said that the best design for the upcoming project will have their models photo up around the campus for one whole month and will have their design send out for evaluation to some fashion company."

"Jeongmal? That's amazing." Jessica replied as the two of them started to dance around excitedly in front of their dorm.

"Girls, you do know that you both can actually go inside the dorm and dance instead of doing this outside, right?" Sunny said as Jessica and Tiffany immediately stopped dancing and smiled dorkily.

After saying our goodbyes, me and Sooyoung walked over to our dorm next door. Just when I was about to push open the door, Sooyoung tapped my shoulders.

"Imagine Sica and Yesung couple photo all around the campus." Sooyoung said with a teasing tone as she walked past me through the open door.

It took me some time to realise what Sooyoung had said.

"Yah!! Thanks for the reminder!!"

By then, Sooyoung had already went into her room as I dragged my feet to my room with a sulky expression.
