I was sitting at the corner of the music room, watching the girls practicing. Sooyoung and Yuri were looking at Hyoyeon showing them the dance steps while Taeyeon was listening to her headphone. It's been 2 days since the incident in the park. I got an earful nagging yesterday morning from Uncle Kim and Uncle Ken for what happened in the park. I had went off to sleep before they returned the night before so they only saw my bandaged ankle when I went down for breakfast in the morning.

I had to beg Uncle Ken not to inform Appa about it and he promised not to do so if I stayed at home to rest well. Appa would only fly in on the night before Uncle Ken's wedding so hopefully by then, the bandage would be removed. Luckily, Aunt Kim was more understanding and caring. She cooked porridge for me and even helped to massage my ankle.

"Hey, Jae. Do you think I should sing this song?" Taeyeon came up to me and let me listen to her headphone.

Halfway listening to the song, Taeyeon nudged me at the side and shoved my phone into my face. Looking at the screen, I saw Jessica's name on it. I quickly removed the headphone and answered the call.

"Jaegi!! Hello, my love." Jessica's cute voice could be heard through the phone as I smiled like a fool.

"Hi, my angel. Did you just wake up?" I said as I looked at the clock that showed it was already 1pm.

"Anni. I just finished eating my lunch with Omma. Have you eaten?"

"Not yet. Waiting for Aunt Kim to call us down for lunch."

"How's your ankle, Jae? Any better?"

"The swelling has gone down. Thanks to Aunt Kim who helped to massage it yesterday. She said that she'll massage it again today. I need to recover before Appa arrived here for the wedding. He's not aware about it since I told Uncle Ken not to tell him."

"Jae, you should tell him about it. He's your Appa."

"But what if he tells me to go back to the States because of this? Remember the incident where I was hospitalised? Appa said that if anything happened to me again, he would not hesitate to move me back to LA."

"Even so, I still think he shouldn't be kept in the dark, Jaegi. Imagine how upset he'll be if he was to know about it later on. Just talk and explain to him nicely. Or if you want, I can talk to him on your behalf."

I paused for a while and sighed. What Jessica said was the truth. If I was in Appa's position, I won't like it if I was kept in the dark too. Especially when we were miles apart. "Gwenchana. I'll inform him myself. Thanks for the offer anyway."

"You're welcome. Anyway, I've to help Omma out so I'll call you again tonight okay. Take care. Remember to eat properly and rest well. Mianhae for not being able to take care of you myself."

"It's okay. The girls are here to look after me. Furthermore, I've got 3 elderly supervising me so you don't have to worry, okay. You take care too, Sicababy."

I had just hung up the phone when a headphone was shoved into my face. Turning to my sides, I saw Taeyeon smiling dorkily at me. I flicked her on the forehaed before grabbing the headphones. "Stop shoving things into my face." I then meronged at her who was still rubbing her forehead.

That night, I decided to give Appa a call and informed him about what happened. To my surprise, Appa already knew about it and the person who informed him was not Uncle Ken but Uncle Kim. Appa said that even though he's not happy with what happened, he's glad that I informed him about it.

"Appa, mianhae. Actually I didn't plan to inform you and was actually thinking of keeping you in the dark. Sica was the one who told me to inform you about it. Mianhae, Appa. I was afraid that you'll be angry with me and will ask me to go back to LA." I explained to Appa nervously.

"I would've been more angry if you kept me in the dark, Jae. Looks like Sooyeon have a good influence over you. Promise me to take good care of her okay."

"Of course I will, Appa. Anyway, even if I don't tell you about what happened, it seems like you've got spies watching me everywhere. Last time it was Uncle Choi at the hospital. Now it's Uncle Kim. Who else is on your spy list, Appa?" I giggled at my own remarks.

"Just be on your best behaviour and everything will be fine." Appa laughed out loud.

We continued talking for a while before deciding to end the conversation since it was already coming to 1am.

The night before Valentines day, the girls had just finished their practices when I came up to the music room to join them. I had just finished my swim as I walked in while still drying my hair. As advised by the doctor, light swimming would help to fasten the recovery of the sprained ankle since the injury was not so severe.

"Hey, have you all inform your girlfriends about the plan for Valentines day?" I asked them as Hyoyeon switched off the music player. Everyone nodded their heads simultaneously as I frowned. "So fast? I still haven't inform Sica yet. By the way, there's a change of plan. Let's meet up 1hr earlier. I just received a call from the boat company that the Rainbow fountain show will start at 8pm so the captain will leave the dork at around 6.30pm since we'll be having our dinner first before the show."

The girls quickly took our their handphones to inform their girlfriends about the change in time.

"By the way, what are you guys planning to wear on that night?" Sooyoung suddenly asked as everyone's attention shifted to her.

I was still scratching my head, feeling confused when I heard Yuri calling my name.

"Jae, what will you be wearing?" I looked at Yuri and blinked my eyes. "All of us were thinking of wearing a black and white theme. What do you think?"

"Black and white? Hhhmmm... Sure. Since both are my favourite colors anyway." I replied as I took out my phone to message Jessica.

To Sicababy:

Sica, will you be free to have dinner with me tomorrow? For Valentine's Day.

I started tapping my fingers on the screen of my phone as I waited for Jessica's reply. I was actually feeling nervous as I kept biting my lips. When my phone beeped, I almost jumped out from the chair.

To Jaegi:

Tomorrow night? Sure. I'll be free, just for you. :P

To Sicababy:

Thank you. I'll pick you up at 5.30pm okay. Saranghae.

I grinned dorkily after sending my reply and my smile widened when Jessica replied with 'Nado, saranghae.'

"Yah!! Stop smiling like a pabo." Taeyeon said to me as the rest of the girls giggled at me. "Let's go and watch a movie in the attic."

The 5 of us walked up to our movie room upstairs and waited for Taeyeon to choose a movie.

"By the way, how are you guys going to Han river tomorrow?" I asked as I took a seat at the couch.

Yuri then replied that she'll drive her car while Sooyoung said that she'll drive her Appa's car. Hyoyeon and Taeyeon said that they'll just take a cab there.

"One of you can borrow my Appa car, if you want too. He went overseas with my mum a few days back." Yuri said.

"In that case, Hyo can use Uncle Kwon's car while Taeng can use my Appa's car." I said as the girls looked at me.

"Then what about you? How are you planning to get there if I'm using the car?" Taeng asked with a confused expression.

"I'll just take a cab there since I can't drive anyway." I pointed to my bandaged ankle.

"Andwae, andwae... I'll drive you and Sica to the place. It's the least I should do after everything that you've done for us." I was about to argue when Taeyeon shushed me. "No negotiation is allowed. If not, all of us won't attend tomorrow. Right, guys?" Taeyeon said as the other 3 girls nodded their heads.

We spent the night watching 'Despicable Me', the movie that Taeyeon had chosen to watch. We ended up sleeping in the attic since everyone was too lazy to get down from there. I didn't realise that my phone was still on vibration mode as it kept blinking to show an incoming call from Jessica.

Someone was shaking my shoulders hard as I rubbed my eyes. Yawning away, I saw 4 dorky faces grinning at me the moment I opened my eyes.

"Happy Birthday, Park Hyun Jae!!" They said out loud as I kept blinking my eyes.

I nodded my head as each of them hugged me to give their well-wishes. Suddenly, I felt a vibration under my thighs as my phone had slipped down while I was sleeping.

"Jaegi!!! I've been trying to call you since midnight but you didn't answer my call." Jessica's voice was heard and I can imagined her pouting.

"I'm sorry, Sicababy. I didn't realise that my phone was on vibration mode. The girls and me were watching a movie at home last night. Mianhae. Please don't be angry with me. Jjinjja, mianhae." I pleaded with sincerity as I saw the girls giving me a signal that they were going down from the attic. Nodding my head to them, I quickly took a peek at my phone and saw 18 missed calls and 2 messages. One was from Appa and one was from an unknown number. "Sicababy, did you even sleep last night? There's 18 missed calls from you. Ouuhhh... I feel so bad right now."

"Gwenchana. I slept at around 1am. Those missed calls were all done in an hour. After that, I felt sleepy and went off to sleep." Jessica giggled at her own remarks. "I need my beauty sleep for tonight." Once again I heard her laughing.

"Are you excited about tonight?' I asked.

"Of course, Jaegi. Anyway, what should I wear tonight? What are you wearing tonight?"

"Hhhmmm.. I'm be wearing something that has white and black theme. Most of the girls are wearing that too. Just wear whatever that you're comfortable in." I replied.

"White and black? I think I know what to wear. By the way, Happy Birthday, my Jaegi. Stay healthy, stay happy and stay the way you are. Saranghae." Jessica said to me as I heard her giggling on the other line.

"Gomawo, Sicababy. Nado saranghae. I'll see you tonight. By the way, we'll be sharing the car with TaeNy since I can't drive at the moment." I informed Jessica.

"Okay. I've got no problems with that. See you later then, my love." Jessica answered before hanging up the phone.

Once the conversation ended, I checked on the 2 messages that I've received.

From Appa:

Park Hyun Jae, Happy 21st Birthday to my one and only daughter. Your Omma will always be proud of you and so do I. Stay healthy and stay humble. Appa will always love you. Take care and enjoy your day.

P/S: You can start to use your savings but use it wisely and send my regards to my favourite daughter-in-law.

From Hyun Jae:

Thank you, Appa. I wil always remember your words and I love you too.

When I opened the 2nd message, I had a frown on my face.

From Unknown Number:

Enjoy the day today. :)

I would have just deleted that number if I didn't remember what Jessica had asked me to do. So I just kept the message in my inbox and stood up slowly to walk down from the attic. Limping slowly,I was shocked to see Taeyeon waiting for me in the study room. Taeyeon said that the other girls had gone home to get ready for tonight. Taeyeon said that she waited there because she didn't want to disturb my conversation with Jessica and also to help me out once I'm done since I was still injured.

Both of us took turns to shower in my room since Taeyeon was afraid that I might need help in anything. While waiting for Taeyeon to finish her shower, I looked at the clock and saw that it was already 11am. I took my phone and called the people in charge of the arrangement for tonight just to ensure that everything was settled accordingly. Taeyeon helped me down to the first floor as Aunt Kim quickly called us over.

"Jae, I made seaweed soup for you. Happy Birthday, my dear. Hope you'll always be happy and achieve all your dreams." Aunt Kim gave me a hug as I returned her hug.

"Kamsahamnida, Aunt Kim. You've been taking care of me since young. You're like my 2nd Omma. Thank you for the soup too." I said as I took a seat at the dining area.

Aunt Kim had prepared a feast for me as she joined me and Taeyeon at the table. While we were eating, Uncle Ken and Uncle Kim walked in. They brought a small cake along and everyone started to sing happy birthday song for me. After all the well-wishes, we continued to eat and chat together.

I was in my walk-in closet, looking through my clothings when I heard my bedroom door opened. Soon a dorky-looking girl appeared in front of me.

"Yah, Jae. You still haven't changed yet? I still need to fetch Fany first before going to Sica's place." Taeyeon said to me as she folded her arms.

I looked at what Taeyeon was wearing and decided to follow her style of dressing. "Taeng, wait for me in the car. I'll be quick"

Taeyeon nodded her head and the moment she left my room, I quickly change into a proper attire for the night. After about 15mins, I came down and found Taeyeon in the car, listening to the song that she'll be performing later. When I opened the passenger seat door, Taeyeon looked at me and frowned.

"Yah!! How can you wear something similar with me but look better than me." Taeyeon pouted.

"You look cuter in that, Taeng. Anyway, it's just similar. Not exactly the same. The only thing that is exactly the same is our skinny tie." I grinned dorkily as Taeyeon just shook her head.

We left the house 5mins later and made our way to Tiffany's house. When we reached there, both of us exited the car as Taeyeon quickly went up to Tiffany who was already waiting outside her house. I can see Taeyeon smiling like a fool at Tiffany.

"I see that both of you have the same theme color which is grey. But Taeng, I thought we're suppose to be in black and white theme?" I asked Taeyeon when both of them reached the sides of the car.

"Black and white is for the 'guys' which is what I'm wearing. White shirt underneath my grey blazer and black pants. Anyway, do you want to sit in the front or the back, Fany-ah?" Taeyeon turned to look at her girlfriend.

"The back is fine with me." Tiffany said as Taeyeon opened the back door for her.

Once everyone was inside, Taeyeon drove off to Jessica's house. In the car, Tiffany asked if my ankle has gotten better since she didn't see it bandaged. I told her that there's no more swelling, thanks to the massages that Aunt Kim did on me, but I'm still wearing an ankle guard for protection since it's not fully recovered. We arrived at Jessica's house 5 minutes before 5.30pm as I exited the car to press the doorbell. The moment she opened the door, I was frozen on the spot.

"Jaegi?.. Jae?.. Park Hyun Jae!" I snapped back to reality when I felt a pinch on my cheeks. Grinning dorkily at her, I bowed my head slightly to aoplogise. "What's wrong with you, Jae?"

"Mianhae, Sica. It's just that you've never stop to amaze me with your beauty. Just like an angel." I said sincerely as Jessica started to blush.

"Are the both of you planning to celebrate Valentine's day at the doorstep?" I heard Taeyeon's comment and turned to glare at her. I reached out for Jessica's hands and lead her to the car.

"Oh my gosh. Both of you look so perfect for each other. Both in whites, like angels." Tiffany said as she started to clap her hands in excitement.

Jessica joined Tiffany at the back seat as the two girls started to giggle before whispering to one another. I glanced at the back and noticed that Jessica was carrying a small duffel bag along with her handbag.

"Sica, why are you carrying two bags with you? What's inside that duffel bag?" I asked as I pointed it out to her.

"It's your birthday present." Jessica replied and gave me a sweet smile.

"Present? Jjinjja?" I smiled widely like a dork. "Can I open it now?" I held out my hands to her, hoping that she would give me the present.

"Andwae. I'll only give it to you after we have our dinner." Jessica shook her head as I pouted and pretended to be upset.

The girls giggled at my childish behaviour as Taeyeon started teasing me. Soon, we reached the Han river carpark where the rest of the girls had arrived. I looked at the watch and saw that it was already 6.20pm. I quickly exited the car and opened the back door for Jessica and Tiffany after Taeyeon had parked the car just beside Yuri's car.

"Yah!! Both of you! Aren't we suppose to meet at 6.15pm?" Yuri asked as she put her left hand on her hips and pointed to me and Taeyeon.

"Mianhae, Yul. You should know how 'fast' Taeng drives." I said in a sarcastic tone as I grinned at the girls. "Wow, all of you look good." I said as I showed a thumbs up to YoonYul, SooSun and HyoHyun couple.

"So where's the boat?" Sunny asked as she looked around the pier.

"How did you know about the boat?" I asked as I looked at her skeptically.

I saw Sunny's eyes widened for a split second before she calmly replied that Sooyoung told her about it in the car when she asked about what they're doing at Han river. I turned my attention to Sooyoung who was grinning nervously as she scratched the back of her head.

"The yacht should be here soon." I replied as everyone looked at each other. "There it is." I said as I pointed to something.

The girls had their jaws dropped as the yacht moved closer to the pier. Once it reached the sides of it, a small linking bridge was extended as I gestured to the rest of the girls to follow me. When we approached the entrance, we were greeted by the waitress, the chef and also the captain of the yacht. All of us took turns to carefully board the yacht.

Walking inside, I heard gasps as the girls including myself were once again mesmerised with the decorations done inside. 5 tables with two seats each were placed apart from each other with a view to the sea outside. At the centre of it was a buffet counter where the chef was standing at the moment. He gave us a brief explanation of the selection of food available. He also said that he can prepare any food that we wish to request throughout the trip. All of us just nodded our heads as he explained. From the corner of my eyes, I can see Sooyoung grinning widely as her eyes were focus on the buffet table, darting from left to right.

After the explanation, the waitress told us to choose our own tables. Each table has a red rose with a small candle on it along with the menu. There were rose petals surrounding the table as all of us took a seat. The waitress then went to each invidual table to explain the content of the menu which mainly consists of different types of drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic type. Once she was done with every table, she went to help out the chef.

"Sica, I need to go and talk to the captain for a while. Is that okay with you?"

Jessica nodded her head as she reached out for the menu. "Do you want me to order any drinks for you? Or do you want to look through the menu yourself?"

"Anything will be fine with me. You choose, okay. I trust your taste." I winked at her and smiled, making Jessica blushed as she used the menu to cover her face.

I stood up and was walking towards the stairs when Taeyeon and Yuri came up to me.

"Need any help, Jae?" Yuri asked as she pointed to my ankle.

"Where are you going anyway?" Taeyeon asked before I could answer Yuri.

"I need to talk to the captain for a while and also check on the 2nd floor where the stage is placed. Anyway, I can manage,Yul. Thanks for the offer." I said as I patted Yuri on her shoulder.

I noticed that the linking bridge had been retracted and the yacht was slowly starting to move away from the pier. The 2 girls decided to follow me up as they wanted to take a look around. Once we've reached the 2nd floor, we saw a small stage at the corner facing the open deck with a U-shaped couch at the centre. There was a grand piano, a guitar and a drum set, just beside the stage. Yuri and Taeyeon quickly stood on stage and started to dance around until Taeyeon suddenly stopped.

"Omo!! I just remembered that I left the song track in the car." Taeyeon claimed as she looked at me with a panic expression. "Eotteoke?" She started to pace up and down the stage.

"Relax, Taeng. We'll think of a solution. Let me talk to the captain first and we'll discuss it out." I said as I told them to sit at the couch while I went up to the top floor where the captain was.

After the discussion with the captain, I walked down the stairs and saw both Yuri and Taeyeon looking at their with full concentration until they didn't even realised that I was standing in front of them.

"What are you both looking at?" I asked.

"Yul suggested for us to play live music for my performance and we are now looking for the music notes for the song." Taeyeon explained.

"I can play the guitar, Soo on the drums and you with the piano." Yuri added on as she grinned at me.

I pointed to myself with a shocked expression. "Me? How come I'm part of this? I'm suppose to be enjoying all the performances tonight." I said as I folded my arms. Taeyeon and Yuri looked at each other before turning to me with their puppy eyes. "Aissshhh.. Did the 2 of you plan to use this against me?" Both of them nodded their heads as they continued to give me their puppy eyes. "Fine, fine. I'll do it." I finally gave in before making my way down as the 2 girls followed from behind.

By the time we got down, SooSun and HyoHyun had already started on their dinner with Yoona and Tiffany gathered at my table, chatting with Jessica. The 3 of us went up to our girlfriends and invited them to take the food at the buffet table. We then went to our separate table to enjoy our dinner.

"Is everything already settled with the captain?" Jessica asked the moment I sat down. I nodded my head to her as the waitress approached us with our drinks. "Jae, is this your first time celebrating Valentine's Day?" She asked again.

"Yes. You're my first girlfriend and this is my first time so I wanted to make it really special." I smiled widely at it.

"Ooohhh.." Jessica replied as she bite her lips and looked down on her plate. "It's not my first time though." She said in a soft tone but I was able to catch her words.

I then realised that she must have celebrated it before with Taecyeon and I feel guilty for making her feel bad. "Sicababy, I understand that this is not your first time celebrating it but I promise you that from now on, the only person you'll be celebrating it with is me. Will you be fine with that?" I said as I reached out to grab her hands that was on the table.

"I'm fine with that." She answered quickly before blushing.

"I've actually been thinking about my present that you've prepared. So what is it?" I asked excitedly.

"After the dinner, Jaegi." Jessica replied as she fed me a piece of the steak from her plate. I chewed on the food while pouting, causing Jessica to giggle at my reaction.

"Sica, do you think I should get my own car?" I asked as we continued eating.

"Your own car? Do you think you need it?" Jessica threw back a question at me.

"Well, I was thinking of letting Taeng and Uncle Ken used the Bentley whenever they want to so it'll be better if I have my own wheels."

"Are you planning to use your savings for that? Remember what Appa told you. Spend it wisely." Jessica replied.

"Okay. I'll think about it again. By the way, Appa send his regards to his favourite daughter-in-law." I grinned dorkily as I lost count of how many times Jessica had blushed for the night.

"Attention everyone. Sorry to disturb your dinner. Everybody will need to gather at the open deck on the 2nd floor in 15mins time. Thank you for your attention." The captain's voice could be heard through the PA system on board.
