Uncle Kim picked us up when we arrived at the airport. He invited Omoni over to the house for dinner as he said that Aunt Kim had already prepared a feast to welcome us home. We didn't expect the girls to be there also but I think they were more surprised than us since the girls had never meet Jessica's mum before. Uncle and Aunt Kim invited everyone to take a seat at the 2nd floor since the space was bigger to accomadate all of us. Once everyone was able to find a place to sit either on the couch or the floor, the girls started to introduce themselves.

"So you mean all of you girls are in a relationship with one another? Are your parents aware about it?" All of them nodded as the atmosphere suddenly became awkward. Sensing it, Omoni quickly explained herself. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to sound as if I'm disapproving of such relationships. I just find it amazing. Frankly speaking, I'm actually glad that Sooyeon are surrounded by friends who can accept her for who she is. Please take care of her on my behalf when I'm not around. Even though she may looked cold on the outside, Sooyeon is actually a fragile girl inside."

"Aunt Jung, you don't have to worry. Jessi is like a sister to us and I believe Jae is more than capable to take care of her. " Tiffany replied as she gave Omoni an eye-smile.

"I've witnessed how Jae took care of her the past few days and I believe that Sooyeon is in safe hands. By the way, I don't think I can be called Aunt Jung at the moment yet since me and Sooyeon's Appa had not renew our marriage vows." Omoni smiled sheepishly as she turned to look at Uncle Ken.

"Soon.. soon we'll do it." Uncle Ken said as he clasped Omoni's hands together as the girls started to give them encouragements and the teasings began.

All of us chatted and got to know each other better until Aunt Kim came up to inform us that dinner was ready. As usual, Sooyoung had to sit away from the dining area as the SooSun couple, YoonYul couple and HyoHyun couple ate in the living room. I was joined at the dining area with Jessica, her parents, Uncle and Aunt Kim along with TaeNy couple. Once dinner was over, Uncle Ken accompanied Uncle Kim to send Omoni home. Jessica had asked her mum's permission to sleepover at my place.

Once they left, I told the girls to gather at the music room while I went to my room to take their presents. When I came back, Jessica, Tiffany, Yoona and Sunny were seated at a corner as they watched their girlfriends playing around with the instruments. Taeyeon was with her guitar, Hyoyeon was at the drum with Sooyoung while Yuri was sitting beside Seohyun at the piano.

"Are you all planning to learn different musical instruments?" I asked as I placed the gifts in front of Jessica.

"Trying but this is so not me. I still prefer dancing." Hyoyeon replied as she gave the drum sticks to Sooyoung before walking to Seohyun. "Yah, black kid. Why are you sitting so near to my girlfriend?" Hyoyeon knocked Yuri on her head lightly with her knuckles.

Since Hyoyeon was older than Yuri by a few months, Yuri couldn't do anything except to stand up and pouted as she turned to look at Yoona. We all laughed at her pouting face as Yoona stretched her hands out, gesturing to Yuri to come nearer so that she can hugged her.

"Yah, Kim Choding. Stop being so violent." I said as I sat beside Jessica.

"What did I do?" Taeyeon stopped strumming her guitar and asked us with a lost expression.

"It's not you, Taetae. Jae was talking about Hyo." Tiffany answered as she asked Taeyeon to come nearer.

Once everyone was gathered together, I started to distribute all the gifts to them. Almost immediately, the room was in total chaos as weird sounds could be heard coming from the girls. Besides the couple t-shirts, I also brought back some snacks for the girls. While Tiffany, Sunny, Seohyun and Yuri were excited with the clothes, Taeyeon was sulking. Sooyoung and Yoona were more interested in the snacks while Hyoyeon basically had no reaction. I turned to look at Jessica beside me before the both of us started to laugh. Seeing us laughing, the rest of the girls stopped whatever they were doing.

"Why are you both laughing?" Sooyoung asked.

"Because of all of you. You should see how you all reacted when Jae took out the gifts. Some were giving out weird sounds to show their excitement, one clapping, one sulking, two shikshins and one poker face." Jessica replied as she giggled at her own comment.

"Why are you sulking, Taeng?" I asked as Taeyeon mouthed the word 'pink' before turning to look at Tiffany who was glaring at her.

"Are you planning of not wearing it because it's pink, Taetae?" Tiffany asked Taeyeon with a firm tone.

"Anni.. It's your favourite color. I'll wear it." Taeyeon quickly said nervously while the rest of us just chuckled at her.

"Soo and Yoona, any comments on the couple t-shirts?" Jessica turned to the two shikshins as they just showed a thumbs up before stuffing some snacks into their mouths. "How about you, Hyo?'

"As long as there's no cartoon character on mine, I'm fine with it." Hyoyeon grinned dorkily. "You didn't get any for yourself and Sica?" Hyo turned to ask me.

I nodded my head before talking out our couple t-shirts to show to the girls. The moment Tiffany saw it, she stared at it and frowned.

"It's pink. But I think mine is cuter since there's totoro. Right, Taetae?" Taeyeon quickly nodded her head like an obedient kid as we all laughed again at her.

"Why don't we wear our couple t-shirts when school reopens?" Yuri suggested as we all just looked at her. "New students will be coming in for orientation. We should let them know that all of us are already off the market." She laughed by herself.

"Being possessive, aren't you Yul?" I said as Yuri just meronged at me. "Well, if the rest has got no problem with it, I guess it's an acceptable idea."

Everyone agreed to the idea as they thanked me and Jessica for the gifts. After putting the gifts aside, the girls talked about school and other stuff. Taeyeon reminded us that we'll need to inform our school administrator about the dorm arrangement. While chatting about school, the topic about Sooyoung's and Taeyeon's radioshow was brought up. Suddenly Sunny remembered something as she grinned at Jessica.

"Jae, did you know that Sica actually showed an interest in you, way before she realised it?" Sunny smirked at Tiffany whose eyes suddenly widened as she nodded her head in agreement.

"Really?" I asked, looking confused as I turned to look at Jessica who had the same confused look on her face. "Way before she realised it, which means when she was still with Taecyeon?" Both girls just smiled at me.

"Do you remember the first time that you performed live on Soo and Taetae's show?" Tiffany asked me as I frowned, trying to remember. "Jessi was so mesmerised with your voice that she actually forgo her sleep to listen to the whole song. Can you imagine that? Jessica Jung who loves to sleep actually forgoing it to listen to the radio."

"She was actually quite disappointed when the live performance had to stop since the cd player system was already settled by then." Sunny said. "You should have seen her the 2nd time you performed live. She was practically glued to the radio and even recorded the song that you sang. She was not even upset that Taecyeon had cancelled their date that night."

By then Jessica had already started to blush. "Your voice has a calming effect on me, Jaegi." I looked at her and gave her a warm smile.

We continued talking until around 10pm before the girls decided to leave for home. Me, Jessica and TaeNy sent the girls right up to our house gates as they drove off. Sooyoung would be sending HyoHyun couple home before dropping off Sunny. Once they left, TaeNy excused themselves to go off to their room while me and Jessica walked up to the second floor.

"Sicababy, wait a minute." I stopped when we walked past the grand piano. "Come here for a while." I took Jessica's hand and brought her to the piano.

As both of us sat down, I lifted up the cover and turned to look at Jessica. "I feel like playing you a song. Will that be okay with you?"

The moment Jessica nodded her head, I flexed my fingers befor starting to play on the piano.

After the song ended, I felt Jessica hugging me from the sides as I hugged her back. Kissing the top of her head, we stayed in that position until Jessica told me that she was feeling sleepy. I closed the piano cover before the both of us walked back to my room to get some sleep.

It's been 2 weeks since I last saw Jessica. She was spending more time with her parents especially after Uncle Ken was accepted back into the family by his father-in-law. Jessica's grandfather even apologised for his mistakes in the past and also for causing so much pain to their family. Uncle Ken had suggested for the family to have a holiday trip together to Japan before they start planning for their wedding ceremony.

During those time, I spent most of my time studying at home besides meeting up with the other girls. Since I'll be taking a dual degree this year, I decided to start on my revision early. 'If I start early, maybe I can have more free time to spend with Sica during school term.' I said to myself as the thought of it reminded me of Jessica. The feeling of her not being around me, made me feel empty but luckily, all the studying helped me to pass the time faster. Jessica kept sending me photos of her in Japan while I replied with photos of me at home doing a variety of things. Such as playing music, studying, swimming and even when I'm about to sleep,

It was only today morning at 2am that Jessica and her family return from the trip after being away for a week. I had wanted to follow Uncle Kim to fetch them but Uncle Ken said that since it was too early in the morning, he didn't want to trouble me. He even took a cab back to Taeyeon's house by himself since he asked Uncle Kim to send Jessica, Omoni and her grandparents back to their own house.

I was seated at my study table, facing the window and yawning away when I heard Uncle Ken's voice calling my name. I looked at my watch and saw that it was almost midnight. "Annyeong, Appa Ken. How's the business coming on?"

Uncle Ken had went out to settle some business matters concerning his new fitness studio. He had found a nice place to open up his studio andwas currently negotiating with his property agents on the selling price.

"So far, everything is going on as plan." He replied as he walked closer and took a seat opposite me. "Have you been studying since I left 5hrs ago?" I nodded my head. "You're just like your Omma. When it comes to studying, she would be so focus at times, that she would forget to take care of her health."

"I'm not as clever as Omma, that's why I need to study hard." I chuckled. "But I'll go to sleep soon so don't worry. Anyway, how's the holiday trip? I'm sorry for rejecting your offer to tag along since I think that it'll be better for you guys to just spend family time together after so many years apart."

"I understand. It's just that I asked you to join us since you're going to be part of the family, anyway." Uncle Ken smiled at me as I smiled sheepishly at him. "You should have seen how sulky Sooyeon was when I told her that you won't be joining us. Luckily her Omma knew how to pacify her. Even when we came back yesterday, she wanted to follow me back here but her Omma told her to rest at home first."

I just smiled at Uncle Ken as he started to tell the story about what happened during the trip. At the moment, Uncle Ken was staying with me at Taeyeon's house before moving in to Omoni's house after the wedding. Uncle Ken said that they've agreed to held their ceremony a week before school restart. It'll just be a small event with guests list consisting of family members, me, Appa and the other girls along with their parents. He said that he would have it at the same church where he and Omoni got married years ago. After Uncle Ken was done with his story, I was about to go back to my studies when he stopped me.

"Go and rest, Jae. You're looking like a panda right now. Sooyeon will be coming over tomorrow morning with Omoni. You won't want her nagging at you once she sees you like this, right?" Uncle Ken said as he smirked at me.

I widened my eyes as Uncle Ken just laughed at me. He stood up and bid me good night as I promised him that I'll turned in soon. After Uncle Ken left, I looked back to my study papers with the thought of continuing my studies but the image of Jessica giving me the icy glare suddenly popped up in my mind, causing me to pause for a while. Putting all my books aside, I decided to go off to sleep.

I felt something tickling my cheeks as I kept brushing it away. I was feeling exhausted so when I heard familiar giggles, I became sensitive and a little agitated with the disturbance.

"Kim Taeyeon, you better stop doing that before I break your fingers. And leave me alone. I'm tired."

"Yah!! Park Hyun Jae. How can you say that to me and why are you tired?"

My eyes almost bulged out from their sockets when I heard Jessica's voice in my room as I sat up abruptly. Looking straight into Jessica's icy glare, I pouted and bowed down my head slightly.

"Mianhae, Sica. I thought it was Taeng who had been disturbing my sleep." I slowly looked up at Jessica who was still glaring at me but not as cold as before. "Bogoshipo. I've missed you a lot."

Before Jessica could reply, I heard an ahjumma laughter near the door. I threw my pillow at Taeyeon who didn't expect it and it smack here right on the face.

"Yah, midget. Because of your giggles earlier, I thought you were the one who was disturbing my sleep. If I had known it was Sica, I wouldn't have scolded her." I said as Taeyeon just meronged at me.

"Who asked you to be so bias? If you had treated me and Sica the same way, you won't have scolded any of us. Won't that be better?" Taeyeon smirked at me.

"Mwo? Treat you and Sica the same?" I suddenly grinned at her causing Taeyeon and Jessica to look at me with a confuse expression. "Then is it okay if I give you a morning kiss too?"

"Eeeewwww.... Andwae! I'm out of here." Taeyeon ran off even before I could say anything.

I laughed out loud before turning to look at Jessica who had an unreadable expression. I moved closer to Jessica who was sitting on the edge of my bed.

"Wae, Sicababy? Gwenchana?"

"Are you really planning to give Taeng a morning kiss? And you still haven't answer me to why you were tired." Jessica asked innocently as she tilted her head, looking like a confused child.

I looked at Jessica in disbelief before breaking out into laughter. "Sica-yah, I only said it to tease Taeng. Of course I don't mean it. My lips are only for you." Jessica bite her lips as she smiled shyly. "I've been studying yesterday and had slept in late which is why I was a bit tired."

Jessica looked guilty as she apologised for disturbing my sleep. I assured her that it was okay and I would gladly wake up early just for her even if I was dead tired. Hearing that, Jessica smiled sweetly at me.

"Wait for me while I shower and we can eat breakfast together okay." Jessica nodded her head as I gave her a peck on her cheek.

Jessica was lying on my bed, looking at her phone when I came out from my closet. Both of us went down and I saw Omoni and Uncle Ken at the living room. After greeting her, I asked them to join me and Jessica for breakfast but they said that they've already had theirs so me and Jessica went to the dining area to have breakfast. While we were eating breakfast, Uncle Ken and Omoni suddenly joined us at the table.

"We've got a problem." Uncle Ken looked at me and Jessica nervously. "We forgot to make arrangement for a catering service. It's already the end of January now. Do you think we can find one at such a late notice?"

"Hopefully with a small number of only 40 guests coming, we'll be able to find a caterer that's willing to cook for us." Omoni sighed as she leaned back into the chair.

"Caterer? Hhhmmm... Let me think for a while if I have any contacts." I put down my fork and spoon, placed my palm on my chin and frowned. Tapping my fingers on the table, I grabbed my phone and dialed a number.

"Yeoboseyo. Ms Song? It's Hyun Jae. I need yor help with something." I started explaining to Ms Song and after thanking her, I hang up the phone. 3 pair of eyes were staring at me, waiting for my explanation. "That was Ms Song, the person-in-charge of our orphanage. She was the one who took care of the catering when we had the Christmas gathering there. It was a last minute thing but she managed to get it done. So I asked for her help to get me the caterer's contact number."

As soon as I finished explaining, my phone beeped to indicate an incoming message. Ms Song had sent me the contact details as I showed it to Uncle Ken who wanted to go to the place immediately. I told him to wait for me and Jessica to finish our breakfast and we all could go together as Uncle Ken nodded his head in agreement.

After we were done with the food sampling and agreeing to the caterer's pricing, the 4 of us went off to spend time together at the amusement park before going off to a Japanese restaurant for our dinner.

"So Jae, I heard from Appa Ken that you'll be taking a dual degree this year. Are you prepared for the hectic schedule?" Omoni asked me while we waited for our orders to arrive.

"Hopefully, I am. I'll have to try my best and manage my time properly." I replied confidently.

"That's good. But the important thing is, you must take care of your health too." Uncle Ken said to me. "By the way, the week before our wedding, you'll be turning 21yrs old already, right?" I nodded my head.

We stopped talking when the waiter arrived with our order. We were about to start eating when suddenly Jessica gasped.

"Jaegi, your birthday is the week before Appa and Omma wedding." Jessica said as if she had just realised it.

I looked at Jessica with my mouth agape before I started laughing away as Uncle Ken and Omoni joined in. Jessica pouted at me as I stopped laughing.

"Yes, Sicababy. My birthday is in 2weeks time which is why Appa Ken said earlier that I'll be 21yrs old soon." This time round, Jessica was the one who had agape as she realised what had just happened.

"Once you're 21yrs old, you're already allowed to use your savings, right Jae?" I nodded my head to Uncle Ken's question. "So what's the first thing that you plan to use the money on?"

I frowned and scratched my chin. "Maybe a car. The Bentley is not really my style of car." I giggled at my own statement.

The 4 of us continued chatting about Uncle Ken's business, the wedding preparations and school while having our dinner. Throughout the dinner, I noticed that Jessica was spacing out more frequent than usual as she would just listened to our talks and won'g participate much.

Dinner was already over when I noticed that Jessica was frowning before she spaced out again. Tapping her softly on her lap, I asked her if she's okay and she just nodded her head before standing up to follow her parents out of the restaurant After dinner, I thought that Jessica wouldhave wanted to sleepover at my place but when we arrived at her house, she bid me goodbye and went in with Omoni. I was just staring at her back, walking away from me when Uncle Ken tapped me on my shoulder.

"Time to go home, Jae." I nodded my head as I drove off.

That night, after showering, I took my phone and climbed on my bed.

To Sicababy:

Sica, are you angry at me? :(

I looked at the clock and saw that it was 5mins to 10pm. 'Hopefully she's not asleep yet.' I was about to place my phone on the side table when it beeped.

To Jaegi:

Anni.. Wae?

I scratched my head, feeling confused. 'She's not angry with me?'

To Sicababy:

If you're not, then why didn't you sleep over at my place tonight?

To Jaegi:

Ouhhhh... Were you expecting me to sleepover? Mianhae, Jaegi. Omma needed my help with something, that's why I didn't sleepover. It's for the wedding, by the way. Sorry, Jaegi. I might not be able to spend much time with you until my parent's wedding is over.

'Helping Omma out? How come I wasn't aware of it?' I scratched my head again, trying to remember if I had missed out any details about the wedding preparations that we had talked about during dinner earlier.

To Sicababy:

I miss cuddling you to sleep. But it's okay. I understand. Feel free to include me in if you need any extra help. Arraseo? 

To Jaegi:

Arraseo, Jaegi. I'm going off to sleep now. You should do the same too. Rest well, Jaegi. Good night.

To Sicababy:

Good night, my angel. Sleep tight and don't forget to dream of me tonight. :P

I put my phone on the side table and looked up to the ceiling. 'Why do I feel like something is amiss? Is Jessica hiding something from me?' I sighed once before pulling my blankets up and switching of the lamps at the sides of my bed.

Jessica's POV:

After my last message to Jae, I quickly went out to Omma's room and saw her folding her clothes at a corner.

"Omma, it's all done. Hopefully Jae won't suspect anything since I've already informed her that I'll be busy helping you out. So Omma, if Jae ask you anything, you know what to answer right?" I asked Omma.

"Of course, my dear. I just hope that I can pull off the lying part. But are you sure you don't want your Appa to know about this?" Omma asked me.

"I think it's better if Appa doesn't know too. He's staying at Taeyeon's place with Jae around. I'm afraid he might accidentally blurt it out to Jae if he knew about it." I explained to Omma. "By the way, do you think I should ask for help from the girls, Omma?"

"Well, I'm not really sure what's your plan will be but I've got no problem if you want to ask help from them. The more help, the better I guess." Omma smiled at me as I frowned.

"I'll think it through tonight. Good night, Omma." I kissed her on the cheek before walking back to my room.

As I lie down on my bed, I kept frownng and turning around. 'Aishhh... Why is this so hard? I can't do this on my own. I need the girls.' I sat up and took my phone. After leaving a message to Sunny and Tiffany to meet me up at the shopping mall tomorrow, I smiled to myself before drifting off to sleep.
