The girls grabbed the dining chairs and placed it at the living room where everyone was gathered. The moment everyone was seated, Taeyeon placed the photos on the table, one at a time. There were 5 photos in all. First photo was of Jae holding hands with a girl as they walked into a shopping mall. 2nd photo was of the same girl kissing Jae on the cheeks while the two of them were standing near a cashier counter. 3rd photo was of the girl feeding Jae ice cream. 4th photo was of the girl giving Jae a backhug while Jae was looking at her phone and the last photo was of them walking into a hotel's lift together.

"Isn't that Boa?" Yuri asked as she tilted her head to get a clearer view of the photos.

"You guys should really start calling her Unnie if you want to avoid this kind of misunderstandings." Tiffany sighed as she folded her arms.

"Unnie? You knew her, Tiff?" Jessica asked with a confused look.

"Of course. Who doesn't know her. She's Kwon Boa, one of Korea's top model." Tiffany answered.

Jessica took a closer look at the photos again.. "She's the one who is currently doing a collaboration with a Japanese designer to come out with her own designer clothes called QB right?"

"QB stands for Queen Boa. That's what she said when I interviewed her for our project."

"You interviewed her? How the hell did you manage to get in contact with her? I thought she's residing in Japan currently."

"You have to thank Jae for that. She's the one who made arrangement for me and Boa-Unnie to meet up and we did the interview with her last week."

Everyone was getting more confused with the whole situation so Taeyeon took the liberty of explaining to everyone about who Boa was and how she's related to Jae. Taeyeon also explained that both Boa and Jae have always been close to each other since young which explains why the photos showed a lot of skinship and intimacy between them. Jae had made arrangement for Boa to come down for an interview to help Tiffany and Jessica with their project.

"Jae's cousin? I got a feeling that Jae was rich but I didn't expect that she had such a famous cousin. To think that I shouted at her after she did all that just to help me and Tiff out." Jessica looked down as she covered her face.

"Sica, what makes you think that Jae was rich?" Sunny asked. "Did Jae tell you that?"

"She didn't tell me that she was rich. I just assumed. She told me about her childhood growing up in the States then coming to Korea at the age of 5 before returning to the States after her mum's death. Then finally coming back again this year to complete her studies. Well, only rich people will be able to do that right? Wae? Am I wrong to think of it that way? I've always thought that Jae is rich like Yuri." Jessica replied as she continued to look down.

Everyone looked at each other and giggled nervously, causing Jessica to look up but the girls quickly pretended to look serious.

"Anyway, let's put that aside. Jae and Boa has always caused people to misunderstand their closeness so I don't really blame you, Sica. What I'm concern is, why did Donghae give you these photos? What's his motive?" Taeyeon asked, making everyone suddenly become quiet.

"Wait.. Before that, did you know that Donghae's ex girlfriend is now Taecyeon's girlfriend, Sica?" Hyoyeon asked as everyone had their jaws dropped except for Taeyeon, Yuri and Sooyoung.

"I... I didn't know. I actually don't know much about him." Jessica bite her lips as she frowned.

"But you've been spending a lot of time with him. How could you not know much about him?" Sooyoung asked.

"I did go out with him a few times and hang out at school together but it's always him who's the chatty one. He can talk about  lot of things while I'll just listen. Frankly speaking, I wasn't really paying attention most of the time." Jessica answered.

"Because he's not Jae, am I right?" Sunny asked as she gave a warm smile to Jessica who shyly nodded her head.

"At first we were thinking that Donghae wanted to get his revenge on Taec for stealing his girlfriend by being close to you but news had already spread by end of September that you and Taec are no longer together which means that there is of no need for him to be close to you anymore." Yuri said.

"So now, we are curious as to why you are being so close to him instead, especially since both you and Jae has confessed to each other about your feelings." Taeyeon asked as she pointed her finger and glared at her.

"Taetae, you're scaring her. Don't do that and what's this about Jae's and Jessi's confession?"

This time round, Sooyoung took the liberty to explain about what Jae had told them before that night. She also told them about how Jae and Taeyeon almost got into a brawl because of the sensitivity issue at that time.

"Wow. Is tonight a lucky night or what? I've never had surprises one after another in a single night before. First, Jae and Boa relationship. Then Donghae and Taecyeon rivalry and now Jae and Sica confessions. Daebak!!" Yoona said.

"Does Donghae by any chance knew about Jae's feelings towards you or vice versa?" Seohyun asked Jessica who then frowned while she tried to think.

"I don't think so. I've never actually talked much to Donghae about myself or any of us to him."

"How about messages or photos in your phone that he had caught you looking at it before?" Seohyun asked again.

"My phone? Hhmmmm... There was one time that he picked up a call from Jae while I was in the toilet. I accidentally left it on the.. Oh my gosh.. He must have seen the heart icon I inserted after Jae's name when he answered the call." Jessica shyly smiled when everyone grinned at her about her heart icon.

"So maybe the reason as to why he gave you those photos is so that you'll get angry with Jae or maybe hate her, thinking that Jae had cheated on you." Taeyeon said. "Well, you did call Jae a cheater anyway. But what I'm still confuse is why are you sticking to him? Jae said that you're doing it against your own will."

"Jae said that?" Jessica asked as Taeyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung and Hyoyeon nodded their heads. "She really does know me well. I hate my life. I really do. First it was Taecyeon then now is Donghae. Why do I have to suffer for the debts of my family?"

Everyone was confused with Jessica's remark as she started to cry. Sunny and Tiffany quickly went to her side and tried to comfort her. The rest of the girls waited until Jessica had calm down before Taeyeon asked her the question that was on everyone's mind.

"What do you mean by that, Sica?"

"I was in an arranged marriage with Taec because of my family debts. And now Donghae expects me to accept his feelings because he was the one who cleared the debts for me. I wanted to be thankful to him for getting me out of the arranged marriage but not to the extent of being with him."

"MWO??!!" Everyone had the same reaction, shocking Jessica who was blinking her eyes rapidly. It took them some time before everyone could grasp the whole situation.

"Jessi, what makes you think that Donghae was the one who cleared the debts for you? I thought he came from an average family background? " Tiffany asked.

"And how did Donghae knew about the debts? Furthermore, 500millon won is not a small amount that can easily be borrowed." Sunny added on.

Jessica told them everything. From the time Donghae told her about how he found out about the debts to the scene where she witnessed him being beaten up by loansharks for not paying the instalments for the loan that he took to clear her debts. As everyone listened to her story, frowns could be seen on their faces.

"Sica, Donghae was not the one who cleared the debts for you. It was...." Taeyeon couldn't finish her sentence when a pillow hit her straight on her face.

"Sorry. I thought I saw a mosquito on Taeng's forehead." Everyone turn to look at Sunny who was the one who threw the pillow and all of them had a confused look. "Youngie, can you and Sica prepare some drinks for us? All these talking had made me thirsty. I guessed it's the same with rest."

Sooyoung quickly stood up after seeing the eye signal from Sunny, asking Sooyoung to get Jessica away from the group for a while. The moment the 2 of them left for the kitchen, Sunny quickly gestured for everyone to bend forward.

"Yah, Kim Taeyeon. Did you forget that Jae doesn't want Sica to know about the money? We have to let Jae be the one to tell Sica about it. For now, let's help Jae by clearing this mess first. Arraseo?" Sunny whispered to all.

Everyone nodded their heads and sat up straight again, just in time as Sooyoung and Jessica came back with a tray of drinks. They continued on their discussions with the girls telling Jessica about how they find Donghae's character very suspicious. At first, Jessica didn't really believe them but when they slowly pointed out things that was doubtful, she felt that she needed to hear from Donghae himself. The girls then came up  with a plan to get the truth from Donghae with Jessica's help. Once everything was settled, the girls decided to get some rest since they'll be visiting Jae the next morning. Hyoyeon went back to her dorm while Seohyun followed Tiffany, Sunny and Jessica back to their dorms. Yoona will be sleeping in Jae's room.

The girls arrived at the hospital around 10am. They went to look for Sooyoung's dad first to ask for permission for them to visit Jae. They also wanted to seek his advice on what food to get for Jae since they wanted to have lunch together. After Uncle Choi gave them some suggestions, they proceeded to the hospital's cafetaria to get the food. Sooyoung already got Jae's ward number from her Appa and they were shocked that it was one of the hospital's VIP suite room. They entered the room quietly as they were afraid that Jae was still asleep even though it was almost 11am.

I was just staring at the ceiling when I heard the door opening slowly. I turned my head and saw a grinning Taeyeon with the rest of the girls' heads behind her.

"Hey... Come on in." I gestured them to come in as I tried to sit up straight slowly.

There were some wires attached to my chest which I presumed was to monitor the rhythm of my heartbeat and a long tube with a needle inserted in my left hand, linking it to a bag of glucose, hanging from a stand at the side. I had to make sure that I didn't accidentally tripped on those wires or tube. I saw the girls looking at the wires on my body as their expression turned to solemn so I decided to tease them.

"You girls should stop staring at the wires and please don't imagine where it ended up behind this clothse that I'm wearing. Especially you, ByunTaeng." I laughed as the girls slowly laughed along except for one person who had tears in her eyes.

"Sica.." I gestured for her to come nearer to me as the rest of them went to find a place to sit. By then, I was already sitting up straight. I lifted my thumb and wiped away her tears. "Gwenchana?"

"Pabo-yah.. I should be the one asking you that." Jessica pouted as she looked down. "Mianhae, Jae. I shouldn't have shouted at you."

I just smiled at her and shook my head. I lifted up her chin and I asked her to lean forward. "It's okay. Nado, saranghae." I whispered in her ears as she covered . She didn't expect me to hear what she said to me when I was lying on the pitch yesterday.

"Can we eat first? I'm hungry." Sooyung suddenly said as everyone burst into laughter.

Jessica took a bowl of porridge and sat at the side of my bed. "I'll feed you since you can't really move your hands."

"I'll eat if you'll share it with me. I don't want to be the only one eating." I smiled when Jessica agreed.

It was lucky that the room was huge enough to be able to fit the 10 of us. All of us were busy eating our own food with little chats in between but the atmosphere became silent when Jessica's phone which was at the side table beside my bed rang. I saw Donghae's name on the screen as Jessica looked at me. I smiled at her and gestured for her to answer.

"Girls, it's Donghae." Jessica said as she stood up and grabbed her phone.

"Okay. Just do like what we had discuss before. Go to the toilet and answer the call." Taeyeon gave instructions to Jessica who then answered the call before walking away.

I just watched the whole commotion with a blank face. When Jessica came back and told the girls that everything is settled and that she'll be meeting Donghae later on as planned, I became more confused. The girls then started to gather at the couch and were talking among themselves.

"Yah!! Am I invincible or what?"

The girls then turned to look at me before they suddenly started to laugh. I pouted and folded my arms.

"Mianhae, Jae. We got excited about our plan later that we forgot about you." Taeyeon said as she started to explain to me about what happened in the dorm last night.

"Mwo?!! He said he was the one who cleared the debts? Is that why you became close to him, Sica? Because of indebtness?" I sighed when Jessica nodded her head. "When did he even took those photos of me and Boa. Was he stalking me? Anyway, this plan that you guys came out with, will it worked? I don't want any of you to get into any trouble because of this."

"Don't worry, Jae. We'll be careful." Yuri replied while the rest of the girls nodded their heads in agreement. "By the way, all of us already knew about your confessions to Sica so both of you can stop pretending that there's nothing happening between the two of you."

The girls then started to tease me and Jessica until Uncle Choi came in with a nurse and told us that he needed to do some checks on me and gave me some injections. He then closed the curtains around the bed and went in with the nurse.

Uncle Choi looked at the monitor at the side of the bed that was linked to the wires on my chest. He then took my wrist to check on my pulse before giving me a shot. After checking on my breathing, he checked on my eyes before asking the nurse to open up the curtains.

"How're you feeling now, Jae?" Uncle Choi asked after the nurse left the room.

"Better than yesterday, I guess." I smiled at him.

"It's good to hear that since your Appa is worried sick about you."

"Appa knew about this? Oh .." I frowned as I bite my lips. "Did he mention anything about wanting to fly in?"

"Uncle Park said that he'll try to find time to fly back." I turned to look at Taeyeon who had answered my question. "Sorry I forgot to inform you, Jae."

"It's okay. No worries. So Uncle Choi, is everything okay with me?" I turned back to look at him.

"Well, it seems that everything is okay at the moment. But you must remember to always take care of your health especially when you also play sports. Over-exerting yourself is not good and you should always try to get enough rest. Exhaustion is not good for the heart. You also need to eat proper meals at times but don't follow Sooyoung's style of eating. She eats too well."

Everyone laughed at Uncle Choi's comments as Sooyoung pouted. Uncle Choi said that I still need to stay for one more night in the hospital just to ensure that everything is really okay. He left soon after as all of us continued to chat. The girls stayed on until they had to leave at about 4pm since Jessica had to meet up with Donghae at 6pm and the girls said that they had to get ready to prepare for their plan. Before they left, I called Taeyeon aside as she gestured for the rest of the girls to go ahead first.

"Taeng, does Sica knows about me and the money issue?"

Taeyeon giggled nervously as I started to panic. Before I could ask any further, Taeyeon shook her head. "I almost blurted it out but luckily Sunny stopped me. She already informed everyone that only you have the right to tell Sica."

"Thanks, Taeng and say my thanks to the girls too. Before you go, promise me something." Taeyeon nodded her head. " Take care of Sica for me while I'm still in here and make sure nothing goes out of hand later. Remember, always remain calm."

Taeyeon assured and promised me to do as I said. She then left to join the rest of the girls who were waiting for her at the hospital's lobby.

Jessica was waiting for Donghae at the entrance of the shopping mall. He had asked her to accompany him to go shopping and also to have dinner together. Jessica then made arrangement to meet him up at the mall at 6pm. The girls had actually arrived at the mall an hour earlier just so that they can prepare themselves for the plan that they wanted to execute. Donghae arrived about 5mins later as he kept apologising to Jessica. As they walked around the shopping mall, Jessica received a message from Taeyeon, telling her that everything was in place.

"Donghae, I'm tired of walking. Can we go to that ice-cream shop to rest for a while?"

"Sure. Anything for my lady." Donghae smiled charmingly but Jessica just rolled her eyes at him and walked towards the shop.

Both of them took a seat after buying their ice-creams. As usual, Donghae was happily chatting away while Jessica just stared at her ice cream. Their moment was interrupted when a familiar loud voice was heard.

"Jessi!! Oh my gosh. I didn't expect to see you here." Tiffany gave her signature eye-smile to both Jessica and Donghae. "Hi, Donghae. Is it okay if I sit here with you guys? I'm not disturbing you both dating right?" Tiffany fakingly giggled but she noticed that Donghae was happy when he heard her mentioning about them dating.

"It's okay. You can join us. It's about time I should get to know Jessica's friends better. Are you alone by the way?" Donghae was a bit scared that Taeyeon was around since he knew how close Taeyeon was with Jae.

"I'm with Sunny actually. She went to get our ice-creams. Ohhh.. There she is. Sunny!!" Tiffany gestured for Sunny to come over.

Sunny walked to their table and placed the ice-cream down. "Fany-ah, are you sure it's okay for us to be seating here?" Sunny made the puppy eyes look.

"It's okay. Like what I told Tiffany before, you can join us. No problem." Donghae gave them his best smile.

"But this table won't be enough. Hyoyeon and Seohyun will be joining us soon. I just received their message when I was ordering the ice-creams. I think we should go to another table. Thank you so much for the offer, Donghae."

Sunny and Tiffany then pretended to be murmuring to each other and they purposely emphasize the sentence 'it's Jae we're talking about.' When Donghae heard them mentioning about Jae, he became curious and quickly reacted by saying that they can pull an extra table and chairs for Seohyun and Hyoyeon to join them. All these while, Jessica was just silently observing Donghae's reaction.

The girls started to talk about school stuff with Donghae while they waited for HyoHyun couple to arrive 10mins later. By then the table had joined and they continued talking. But Jessica was still keeping quiet and just staring into thin air.

"Is she always like this? So cold to people and always in her own world?" Donghae asked the girls.

"Ever since she broke up with Taecyeon, she doesn't really talk much. Poor Jessi. She can't accept that Taecyeon would cheat behind her back." Tiffany said with a sad tone.

"Talking about him, I heard from Eunhyuk that Taecyeon's new girlfriend is your ex-girlfriend. Is it true, Donghae?" Hyoyeon suddenly pointed at Donghae, catching him by surprise.

Donghae chuckled nervously as he rubbed the back of his neck. "How.. how.. did you know Eunhyuk?"

"We used to hang out at the same dancing school. He's your dorm mate, right?" Hyoyeon asked with a poker face.

"He is." Donghae suddenly chuckled nervously. Before Donghae could explain himself, Seohyun intercepted him.

"So Donghae, I heard from Sica that you were the one who helped to clear the debts for her to get out from the arranged marriage. That's so cool."

"She did?" Donghae turned to look at Jessica who just nodded her head. "I didn't expect her to tell you guys about it though. It's actually..." Donghae was not able to finish his sentence when Sunny and Tiffany started asking him questions.

"How did you manage to borrow that amount of money anyway? Don't you need to have a guarantor or something?" Sunny asked with skeptical eyes.

"So how did you actually clear the debts for her? Jessi didn't mention it to us so we were curious. I mean did you give the money to Taecyeon or did you pass it to Jessi's family or something like that?" Tiffany asked as all the girls were now looking at Donghae especially Jessica.

By now Donghae was nervous like hell. He smiled awkwardly at Jessica before looking at the rest of the girls who had a poker face on. "It wasn't such a big amount of money and I can't really remember how I did it actually since it was quite some time ago."

Jessica suddenly stood up and said that she need to go to the toilet for a while as Tiffany also said that she needed to go too. After both of them left, everyone seems awkward with each other as the atmosphere became quiet. They started to just concentrated on eating their own ice-creams. 15 mins have gone by but there was still no sign of Jessica. By then, everyone had finished off their ice creams and were just sitting there quietly. For no reason, Donghae seemed to be sweating a lot even though they were in an airconditioned place. He kept his gaze down, not wanting to have any eye-contact with the girls as he took out his phone and pretended that he was busy with something.

Suddenly, Tiffany ran in, looking all panic and grabbed on Donghae's hand. "Quick. Palli.. Jessi's in trouble."

Donghae who was already not in his right state of mind, just let Tiffany dragged him away with the rest of the girls following them. They ran past the toilet and walked to the back door of the mall. When Tiffany pushed the door opened, it showed the back alley that was dimly lighted. There was a small light at a corner of the alley and that was where they saw Jessica, seated on the floor, with her hand and feet tied while was stuffed with cloth.

"Jessi!! Oh my gosh!" Before Tiffany could reach to where Jessica was, they heard a deep voice asking her to stop moving. The voice came from the opposite side of where Jessica was. Donghae and the girls turned and saw 4 figures leaning on the wall. Since it was dark, they couldn't really see the faces but from the shadow, they looked like 4 guys wearing all black. All 4 of them where holding on to baseball bats. Tiffany noticed that Donghae took a step back and was a bit shocked.

"Yah!! Lee Donghae! When are you planning to pay your debts?" The shortest among the 4 of them said in a deep hoarse voice.

"Debts? What debts are you talking about?" Donghae replied as he swallowed his saliva.

"Hyung, maybe we should beat him up to make him remember about it." The tallest one voiced out.

"Our baseball bat haven't tasted blood this week. At least both of yours had after beating up that guy till he was dead yesterday." One of them said as he swing his bat from one side to another.

"Beaten till death? Look guys, I really think you've got the wrong person. I've never borrowed any money before so there's no way that I could be owing you guys money." Donghae quickly explained himself as he stepped back even more.

"Donghae, maybe they're talking about the loan that you took to pay for Jessica's debts." Sunny said out loud.

Donghae had his eyes wide open as he shook his head vigorously. "Anni.. anni... That was just a lie. I didn't borrow any money. I wasn't the one who cleared the debts for her."

"At last, you tell the truth."

Slowly, the 4 figures walked towards Jessica and helped her up. Under the light, they finally saw who the 4 figures were.
