Ailee came back and I noticed that she was not as cheerful as before as there was another lady walking with her. The lady introduced herself as Maya who was a senior salesperson and was eagerly asking questions to us about the kind of cars that we were interested in. As if it was instinct, Yoona, Taeyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung and Hyoyeon automatically turned to look at me while Maya was still talking.

Looking at their expression, I was able to understand their intention. I coughed a bit to grab everyone's attention, especially Ailee who had been looking down ever since she came back to the group.

"I'm sorry to interrupt your speech, Ms Maya. But I'm just curious about something. Why are you here in the first place?" I arched my eyebrows upward and gave her my no-nonsense look.

"Oh, I saw Ailee talking to you girls earlier and asked her about it when she came to get the forms. She said that you are planning to buy 3 cars so I'm helping her out." She gave us a smile.

"Did she ask for your help?" Yuri suddenly asked and before Maya could answer, Taeyeon intercepted her.

"If you serve us too, does that mean the commission will be shared between the both of you?" By then, the atmosphere was already a bit tense.

Maya chuckled nervously. "Ailee is just a part-timer here so she's not suppose to handle more than one sales a day." Maya explained with a little bit of arrogance in her tone of voice.

"Sorry once again but can I speak to Ailee in private for a minute?" I asked as I smiled at Maya and gestured to Ailee to step aside. "Is it true that you can only handle one sale per day?"

"Can I be honest with you?" Ailee looked at me with a worried face while I nodded my head. "I'm not really aware of such rule existing. This is the first time that I heard about it. But then, this is also my first time handling more than one car sale in a day."

"Did you ask Maya for any help earlier?" I asked again.

"No. I just went to take the forms to fill up your particulars and she saw me taking more than one form. When she asked me about it, I told her that you girls are planning to buy 3 cars. I was about to leave the table when she said that she need to follow me."

"You will need to share your commission if she's helping you out right?" I asked to which Ailee nodded her head. "Arraseo. Let's get back to the girls."

Maya was still talking and explaining about some cars and their specifications when me and Ailee get back to them. The girls saw me coming and waited for me to speak.

"Ms Maya, I think you can stop explaining. Let me just be frank with you. Me and my friends are only willing to let Ailee handle our purchases. Because she was the one who took the effort to actually approach us first. I saw you when I entered the showroom. You were busy sitting at a corner and chatting away. So I think we all prefer to let Ailee handle us." I said with a firm tone as the girld nodded their heads in agreement.

"But I've already said that she's not supposed to handle more than one sales per day." Maya folded her arms and rolled her eyes at me with an arrogant pose.

'Well, I can always come back another day for my next purchase. Bottom line is, only Ailee will be handling our purchases. Or maybe I should just talk to your management or higher authority." I said as I placed a finger under my chin as if I was thinking. "Is it possible for you to get me your supervisor or manager right now?" It was my turn to fold my arms as I stared at Maya.

Hearing my request to talk to her in-charge, Maya suddenly became flabbergasted as she started to look at Ailee. "I think Ailee should be able to handle your needs. I'll just inform my supervisor that she'll be taking care of 3 purchases today." Maya smiled quickly to Ailee before walking away.

I sighed and shook my head as the girls came up to me. Patting my back, they teased me about my business-like attitude earlier. I turned around to look at Ailee who was just watching the 5 of us. She had the same cheerful smile as the first time she greeted me.

"So, are you ready to serve us?" I smiled at her as she showed me the forms. I nodded my head and suddenly, I realised something.

"Hey, Ailee. I think all of us forget to introduce ourselves to you." I said as the girls nodded their heads and eagerly introduced themselves at the same time. "Yah!! One at a time. Aigoo.. If your girlfriends saw all of you right now, all of you will be in deep trouble."

All 4 of them suddenly froze at the mention of their girlfriends and looked at me nervously.

"Girlfriends? As in a relationship with another girl?" Ailee asked as we nodded our heads. "That's so.... cool." Aileed gave us a smile and laughed out loud.

We chatted for awhile and found out that Ailee was born in the States but she came to Korea to further her studies in music and dance. After finding out that she was also the same age as us, all of us became more comfortable with each other. She said that she worked part time on weekends to pay for her studies and also living expenses since she's living on her own. Her family was still in the States. At the moment, she's studying at YMC University.

We decided to take a look at Yuri's car first so all of us went in to the BMW showroom. Since Yuri had already made up her mind on the car, it didn't take long for Ailee to settle all the paperworks. Yuri's chosen car was a black BMW Z4 with red interior.

 

After we were done, I suggested for us to go to the Mercedes Benz showroom. When we were there, I informed Ailee that Taeyeon wanted to get the SLK 200. Ailee then asked Taeyeon about the color and any specific details of the car that she wanted but Taeyeon only gave her a blank expression

"Taeng, what color do you want for your SLK200?" I repeated Ailee's question as Taeyeon shook her head. "Taeng, come on. It's your birthday present." I whispered at Taeyeon as I frowned and sighed loudly.

"Silver with red interior." Taeyeon finally answered as I grinned at her.

Ailee had a confused expression when she watched the interaction between me and Taeyeon but she heard Taeyeon's request and started to prepare the paperwork. Once she was done, she gave the documents to Taeyeon.

"Give this to her." Taeyeon said to Ailee as she pointed to me. "She's the owner of the car."

I glared at Taeyeon who quickly took the paper and told Ailee that she was just kidding. Taeyeon then started to read the documents and signed the papers.

  

While waiting for Ailee and Taeyeon to finish, Yuri came up to me and asked if I've found the car that I wanted to buy. I smiled at Yuri and nodded my head.

"By the way, how much of commission will you be earning with two cars that we are purchasing so far?" Taeyeon asked as our attention turned to Ailee.

"I can't really say the exact amount but base on my calculations, it should be able to cover my living expenses for 3-4mths. It's not always everyday that I can sell a car though. I've been working here for almost 6mths but this is only my 3rd and 4th time selling off a car. So I've to learn to manage my expenses better." Ailee explained.

"So Jae, which showroom are we going next?" Sooyoung asked as I used a hand gesture, asking them to follow me.

We stopped in front of the Ferrari showroom and I pointed to the car, which is a Ferrari 458 spider, to the rest of the groups.

"I'm getting that." I said as I saw the shock expression on the girl's face including Ailee's.

"Daebak!!" Hyoyeon said as she walked up to the car and walked around it to admire. Sooyoung and Yuri joined her at the car while Taeyeon walked up to me.

"Hey, Jae. Thanks for the advance gift." Taeyeon smiled as I nodded my head.

"You're getting that?" I heard Ailee's voice on my left as I turned to face her and nodded my head. "The price is almost 7 times more than Yuri's and Taeyeon's car."

"Don't worry. She can afford it." Taeyeon replied before I could say anything as I saw Ailee nodding her head.

Ailee then started to ask me questions like how she handled the previous two purchases. I told her that I wanted the car to be in white and the interior to be in red.

 

Once she was done with the paperwork, she passed me the documents which I signed after reading through them. She brought the 5 of us into the office and we sat at a long table to finalise our purchases. Ailee was about to explain to us about the instalment plans when Yuri stopped her.

"When is the earliest that we can get the cars?" Yuri asked.

"Once your first instalment is settled, it should take less than 2 weeks." Ailee explained.

"If we settled the full amount, can we get it by this week?" I asked as everyone looked at me while I just gave them a poker face. "Yul, are you okay with paying the full amount?" I turned to face Yuri.

"I've got no problems with that but I don't have the cash with me right now since I need to sell off my Audi first." Yuri replied with a frown.

"Full amount?!! You mean as in a lump sum?" Ailee asked with a shocked expression.

I nodded my head and took out my cheque book. "You guys accept cheque, right?" Ailee nodded her head slightly. "I'm not good with instalment plans and I can't wait that long. Yul, I'll make the payment for you first. Once you've settled your Audi, you can pay me back. Ailee, can you help me to confirm the price of the 3 cars so that I can write in the cheque." 

While Ailee went off to find her manager to make sure that she had all the calculations properly done, the 5 of us chatted abut the new cars and how we planned to park it in school so that we can use it on weekends. Sooyoung was mumbling about having to use the mini cooper that belonged to Sunny and we all about it. Ailee came back and informed me about the prices. I decided to give her 3 separate checks since the 3 cars belonged to different manufacturers.

After 30mins, everything was settled as Ailee informed that she would message us to update on the collection of the cars. She also said that she will assist to expedite Hyoyeon's car so that Hyoyeon can get the car at the same time with the rest. Before we left the showroom, Ailee shook our hands and thanked us for letting her handle all our purchases. I was the last one that shook her hands and was shocked when Ailee suddenly gave me a hug.

"Thank you. For standing up for me against Maya." She smiled as she released the hug.

"Gwenchana. We are friends now. No worries. By the way, I hope the commission that you earned today will help you cover your expenses for the whole year. It'll be great if you can focus on your studies instead of having to work. I can see that this job requires a lot of patience and very competitive. You should look for other jobs that is less stressful." I said and smiled at her.

"I'll think about it. Gomawo." She smiled as I heard coughing coming from the girls.

"How come only Jae got a hug from you?" Taeyeon asked with a pout.

"Maybe because we didn't buy a Ferrari like Jae." Yuri answered and pretended to sob as the 4 of them cuddled each other and pretended to be upset.

"Hey, don't say that. I can give you all hugs too. You guys are cute and I'm lucky to make friends with all of you." Ailee said as she stretched our her hands, a gesture to give the other girls a hug.

I rolled my eyes and shook my head as I watched them hugging each other. A smirk appeared on my face as I took out my phone and secretly took a few photos.

We were waiting for our girlfriends at a Japanese restaurant and were seated at one side of the long table, facing the wall.

We were teasing each other about how we were all drooling and oogling at Ailee when we were at the showroom earlier. Everyone was in denial as I decided to show them the photos that I've taken of them hugging her.

"Yah!! How can you take our photos without our permission?" Taeyeon said as she tried to grab my phone which I quickly kept inside my pocket.

"Guys, if our girlfriends saw that photos, they are going to kill us." Sooyoung said as the 4 of them looked at me.

I was seated right at the centre of the table with Taeyeon on my right and Yuri on my left. Sooyoung was beside Taeyeon and Hyoyeon was beside Yuri. As the 4 of them suddenly stood up, I glanced to my left and right but before I could react, Taeyeon and Yuri were already grabbing on my arms. I tried to squirm out from their grips as I saw Sooyoung and Hyoyeon walking towards me.

"Yah!! Andwae!! Don't touch my phone." I bent myself forward so that my body was sticking to the edge of the table while Yuri and Taeyeon were trying their best to pull me away from the table. "Yah!! Yah!! Yah!! That hurts.." I could feel the pain seeping through my shoulders as I felt Sooyoung and Hyoyeon trying their best to find my phone by searching through me.

"What's going on in here?"

A sudden coldness filled the air as the 5 of us froze in our spot. I couldn't turn behind to look because of the position that I was in but I could recognise that voice even with my eyes closed. I could feel Taeyeon's and Yuri's grip on me loosened as the girls quickly stood up. I took the chance to turn around and massaged my shoulders at the same time.

By then, Sooyoung, Hyoyeon, Taeyeon and Yuri were standing in front of their chairs with a nervous grin on their faces.

"We were just joking around. Right, Jae?" Taeyeon nudged me at my shoulders, causing me to flinch a bit due to the slight pain even though I nodded my head.

"Joking around? We could hear Jae's voice from outside the door." Jessica gave us her icy glare.

"And what's with the phone thingy? We heard Jae saying about not touching her phone." Sunny asked as she folded her arms and looked at Sooyoung with skeptical eyes.

The girls looked at one another as they tried to give an eye signal but they stopped when Jessica stood in front of me and put out her hand.

"Phone." Just one simple word and it made the 5 of us had a nervous breakdown.

"Jae, did me and Taeng hurt you earlier?" Yuri tried to change the topic by suddenly standing beside me and kept rubbing my shoulders.

"You knew we were just playing around right? Anyway, we're sorry if we cause you any pain or discomfort." Taeyeon added on as she rubbed the other shoulder.

It seemed that their plan worked as I saw Jessica's expression turned into a worried face. "Gwenchana?" She asked as slapped both Taeyeon's and Yuri's hands away form my shoulders as she started to massage it instead.

"It's okay. Just a slight pain. I'm used to their rough way of playing around." I said as I smiled at Jessica.

"So can we start to order our food? I'm really hungry." Yoona's words was greeted with cheers as Sooyoung asked everyone to take a seat while she went off to call the waiter.

Everything was back to normal as we enjoyed the dinner and asked our girlfriends about their outings. As we were almost finishing up on our dinner, Hyoyeon's phone beeped and after reading the message, she put her phone aside.

"Who's that, Yeonnie?" Seohyun asked innocently.

"Ailee." Hyoyeon answered with a poker face as me, Taeyeon, Yuri and Sooyoung had a shocked expression.

"Ailee?" It was a miracle that our girlfriends could be so united at this moment of time as they said out the same thing.

Hyoyeon who had just realised her slip of tongue, turned slowly to face the rest of us as she chuckled nervously.

"Who's Ailee?" Seohyun asked as the atmosphere became silent.

"She's the agent that handled our car purchases earlier." Hyoyeon answered quickly without thinking it through.

"Our?" Once again the unity of our girlfriend's mind was just amazing.

At this moment, everyone was facing each other with our girlfriends giving us the suspicious look. I looked to my left and then to my right before I started chuckling to myself. My actions caused everyone to look at me.

"Why are you all behaving as if you are guilty-conscious?" I said as I smirked at them. "Let me explain the full story."

I started explaining to our girlfriends about what happened at the showroom earlier. About how we were ignored until Ailee came up to help us, how Maya tried to take advantage of Ailee and the situation and how we all became friends with her. Obviously, I omitted out the part where we all received a hug from her. After I ended my explanation, the girls looked at each other before turning to face us again.

"Is she pretty?" Yoona asked with her eyes fixed on Yuri.

"Is she cute?" Sunny asked even before Yuri could reply but Sunny's gaze was on Sooyoung.

"How old is she?" Seohyun added on the list of questions while staring at Hyoyeon.

"Did you oogle at her ?" Tiffany pointed at Taeyeon as I accidentally burst into laughter.

The 4 of them were quick in denying everything but they froze in their seats when they heard Jessica's remarks.

"Give me your phone, Jae."

Jessica had her hands stretched out with open palms as she gestured for me to handover my phone. I glanced around and mouthing the word 'mianhae', I took my phone and gave it to her.

"Wait, isn't this Amy?" Jessica turned the phone to show to Tiffany who was sitting beside her. 

"It sure does look like her. But why is she hugging my Taetae?" Tiffany said as she looked up to glare at Taeyeon for a few seconds before looking back at the phone. "And hugging Yul, Soo and Hyo too."

"How come there's no picture of her hugging Jae?" Sunny asked as she tried her best to take a peek of the photos from behind Tiffany.

"Maybe because Jae knows how to behave when Sica is not around and not flirt like the rest." Yoona replied.

"Hey, Jae was the first one who received her hug." Yuri tried to defend herself.

"And we only asked for a hug after Ailee hugged Jae." Hyoyeon answered with confidence as me, Taeyeon, Yuri and Sooyoung turned to look at her immediately. Hyoyeon even gave us a thumbs up without realising that her sentence had made the situation worse.

I facepalmed myself while Taeyeon, Yuri and Sooyoung slumped back into their seats. By now, we had 5 pairs of eyes staring straight at each of us as we heard Hyoyeon gasped and suddenly closed . I guessed she just realised her mistake as silence filled the room.

"Who's Amy?" I asked as I leaned forward and placed both my arms on the table, clasping my hands together.

"Why were you all hugging her? Or in your case, why did she hug you?" Jessica folded her arms and glared at me.

"She was being thankful for the help that she received from us. It was just a friendly hug between friends. That's all." I replied with confidence, not losing my eye contact with Jessica. "So let me guess. Amy is Ailee?"

Jessica looked at me for a few seconds before nodding her head lightly. She then explained that Tiffany and her met Ailee during a cheerleading competition during their first year. Ailee was a cheerleader from YMC University.

"That's where she told us she was studying at. Majoring in music and dance. But what's with the difference in name?" I asked.

"Amy Lee is her real name but her school mates in the States have been calling her Ailee in school so she used that name when she's at work." Tiffany explained. "But I still don't understand why all of you were acting so secretive about the hug. If it's really a friendly hug, why would you all look nervous?"

"We were scared about how you girls will react." Taeyeon voiced out her opinion.

"We were just flirting around for fun...." Hyoyeon's words were cut off when the 4 of us shushed her off.

"What Hyo meant was that all of us were just playing around and teasing each other." Sooyoung said as Sunny gave her a glare." With a little bit of flirting but I swear that it was just purely for the fun of getting to know each other better."

"We were actually thankful to her too for serving us when we were there. We are just glad that we made a new friend." Yuri added her opinion.

It seemed that all their defensive comments were not having an effect on their girlfriends until I decided to step in. "Ailee is aware that all 5 of us are in a relationship and she even told me that she would like to meet our girlfriends some day."

"She did?" Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung and Taeyeon asked me at the same time as I just nodded my head quickly.

Our girlfriends looked at each other and stood up. "We are going off to the Ladies." Jessica said as the other 4 girls followed her.

After they left, I stood up and walked to Hyoyeon before grabbing her collar. "Yah!! Pabo!! How many times are you planning to drag us down?" I jokingly said.

"Hey, Jae. Did Ailee really said that she wanted to meet our girlfriends? I don't remember her saying that though." Taeyeon asked as she frowned while scratching her head.

"She didn't. I made that up. It was the only way that I can think of to make our girlfriends forget about the whole hugging thing. Speaking of which, I need to message Ailee to ask for her help in this. Just in case Sica or Fany contacted her." I quickly took out my phone and started to type.

"If only you didn't take those photos, everything won't turn out this way." Hyoyeon said as I just meronged at her.

I had just kept my phone in my pocket when the girls returned from the Ladies. They took their seats at the same time that desserts were served. All of us ate our desserts in silence as we stole glances at each other. Since no one was talking, it took us only 15mins to finish it up.

"The girls had a discussion among us earlier in the Ladies." Tiffany began her speech as we all looked up at her. "We believed that all of you were really just playing around and teasing each other when you were in the showroom. Futhermore, me and Jessi had met Ailee a few times before and she had left us with a good impression. So we are actually glad that you all had made friends with her."

I could hear the girls sighing in relief as they started to grin dorkily.

"But we've also came to a conclusion to punish all of you." Sunny continued where Tiffany had left off. "For misbehaving when we are not around."

Me, Taeyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung and Hyoyeon looked at each other and we all had a grimace expression on our faces. Before we could ask anything, Yoona said that the punishment will be given out by them individually to their respective girlfriends and we would only know about our punishment when we reached the dorm later. After dinner, we took the bus back to our campus with the 5 of us waiting anxiously for our doom.
