Inside Jessica's bedroom:

"Eeeerrr.... Fany-ah. Don't tell me your phone is on speaker mode?" Taeyeon asked as she swallowed her saliva.

Before Tiffany could reply her, the rest of the girls were busy trying to grab the phone from Tiffany's hands as the room became noisy until they heard the line went off.

"Did Taeng just hang up the phone on us?" Sunny asked as Tiffany just nodded her head. "I'm going to call my shikshin and asked her about it." Sunny said as she took out her phone to dial a number.

Soon, all the girls were busy dialing their phone to their girlfriends but none of them was answering the call. Jessica was the only one who was still sitting on her bed, just watching the rest of the girls. She flopped herself back on the bed, causing the other girls to look at her.

"Sica, aren't you going to call Jae and asked her about it?" Yoona asked with a confused look.

"I'll just wait for her call. It's obvious from Taeng's reaction that she wasn't expecting all of us to know about it. Since Taeng hung up the phone on us, most probably our girlfriends are not aware of what she did. Which means they're are currently not with Taeng. Taeng said that they are in the hospital right? Maybe they can't answer their calls because they can't do so." Jessica sat up and answered with a calm expression.

"Daebak!! Since when did Jessi became so clever and cool?" Tiffany said as Jessica shot her an icy glare. "I said cool, Jessi. Not cold. Stop with the icy glare."

Jessica just rolled her eyes at Tiffany and was about to lie down again when her phone beeped. The rest of the girls quickly gathered around her when Jessica showed them her phone screen that clearly flashed an incoming message from Jae.

To Sicababy:

Sica, I think by now you and the rest of the girls would have already knew that we were at the hospital, all thanks to Taeng. Rest assured that everything is fine and we are now on our way back to Taeng's place. The reason why they didn't answer their calls earlier was because they were receiving their treatments. 

To Jaegi: 

What actually happen, Jaegi?

After sending the message to Jae, Jessica looked up to the girls and smirked with an expression that says 'I told you so' while the girls just rolled their eyes at her. A few minutes later, Jessica's phone kept beeping as messages were being sent one after another.

To Sicababy:

Me and the girls were playing futsal at the park earlier. Taeng accidentally hit a girl during one of her passes. A big-size guy came up to us and demanded for compensation for the injury inflicted on the girl which he claimed to be her sister. I offered to send her sister to the hospital instead with all medical fees paid by me. But the guy rejected my offer which I find it suspicious so I confronted him for trying to fool us into giving him money. After that he left with the girl and we continued playing on.

To Sicababy:

When we were on our way back to the cars after the game, we heard someone calling us. We turned around to see the same guy and the same girl approaching us but this time round, there were 2 more girls with them. He arrogantly claimed that he's not the type of guy to beat up girls. The 3 girls started to attack us so we had to fight them off in the carpark. I managed to dodge away from the girls and confronted the guy himself. To cut it short, I manage to punch the lights out of him. When the 3 girls saw that the guy was already on the floor, they fled the scene.

To Sicababy:

Most of us had some bruises and cuts so I suggested to go to the hospital to get it treated. Since Taeng was the one with the least amount of bruises, she was actually the first one to be out from the treatment room. We were not aware that she had called Fany when we were still getting ourselves treated. Soo, Hyo and Yul were actually confused as to why they had so many missed calls from their girlfriends when they came out from the treatment room. It was until Taeng told us that we realised what happened. The truth is we initially wanted to inform you girls about the whole situation once everything is settled at the hospital.

To Sicababy:

So please inform the rest of the girls, that their girlfriends are fine with minor injuries. And all of us will be staying the night at Taeng's place so no worries okay.

P/S: Just wondering, why didn't you call me too like the other girls?

After reading all the messages, the girls started to message their girlfriends to ask about their condition. Jessica also continued to message Jae.

To Jaegi:

What you did there was really dangerous, Jaegi. You could have gotten yourself hurt badly. Next time please just call the police and let them settle it. By the way, I didn't call you because I was sure that you'll call me back to explain and inform me about the whole situation.

P/S: I miss you and please be careful next time.

To Sicababy:

Arraseo. I'll be more careful next time. Sorry if I made you worried and thank you for being understanding.

Jessica kept staring at her phone as the other girls finally put their phones aside. They were asking each other about what their girlfriends told them and everyone gave an almost similar explanation to what Jae had said earlier. They were about to continue talking when Seohyun realised that Jessica was not taking part in the chat.

"Sica? Gwenchana?" Seohyun asked, making the rest of the girls turn to look at Jessica.

"Ouhh.. It's nothing. What were you girls talking about earlier?" Jessica asked but there was an obvious change in her tone of voice.

"What's wrong, Jessi? It's obvious that there's something in your mind. You've been staring at the phone for some time now. Did Jae say something?" Tiffany asked as she climbed on bed to sit beside Jessica.

"It's more about what she didn't say." Jessica replied as the girls looked at her in confusion. "I told her that I miss her but she didn't reply the same way. I'm not sure if I'm being too senstitive but her last reply to me sound so cold." Jessica explained as she showed the girls the messages.

"Well, it does seem cold to me. Do you think Jae is angry with you for neglecting her these past few days?" Yoona asked.

"I'm not sure but I hope she's not." Jessica replied with a heavy sigh.

I was in the car, resting at the back while Taeyeon was driving with Yuri sitting beside her at the front. After Taeyeon told us what she did earlier, all of us wanted to strangle her neck for letting our girlfriends knew about the situation without our knowledge. I quickly send a message to Jessica to explain the situation even though I was actually upset with her about a few things.

Firstly, it was about the fact that Taeyeon told us that the girls already knew about the incident because they were all at Jessica's house. Which got me thinking. 'What are they all doing at Sica's house? Are they helping out with Omoni's wedding preparations which is why Sica didn't need any of my help?'. Secondly was when I checked my phone and there was no missed calls from Jessica. Seeing the other girls complaining to Taeyeon about all the missed calls made me wonder if Jessica was even concern about me in the first place. Thirdly was when I asked her about why she didn't call me like the other girls, she replied by saying that she knew I was going to explain to her sooner or later. 'So if I didn't bother to explain to her, does that mean she will never call to ask about my condition?' With all those thoughts in my mind, I became more upset than I already was. 

"Hey, Jae. Are you okay at the back? You've been very quiet since we left the hospital. The doctor said that you need to rest your sprained ankle for at least 5 to 14 days. By the way, how did Sica react to your injury?" Yul asked me as she turned behind.

"She didn't ask about my condition so I didn't tell her. She just asked me to be more careful next time." I said in a bored tone.

"She didn't ask you? But you should've have informed her anyways. Maybe she's too caught up with the pla.... Auwww." Taeyeon didn't finish her sentence when Yuri suddenly flicked her on her forehead.

Realising that she almost blurted out a secret, Taeyeon mouthed the words 'mianhae' to Yuri. I looked at the two of them with skeptical eyes as Yuri quickly explained to me that she's been wanting to do that since we all found out what Taeyeon did at the hospital behind our backs.

"Jae, are you by any chance angry with Sica? Because you sound as if you are." Yul asked me as I shifted my sitting position.

"I'm not angry, Yul. I'm just.. How should I say it?" I sighed for a while as I tried to think of a word that suited my feelings at the moment. "Upset? Frustrated? I think frustrated is a better word to describe how I feel right now."

By then, we've already reached Taeyeon's place. Sooyoung and Hyoyeon walked up to us after Sooyoung parked her Appa's car next to my Appa's car. I exited the car with my arms over Yuri's shoulder as she brought me to the living room. Uncle Kim and Aunt Kim had went out with Uncle Ken to help him with the wedding preparation as instructed by Appa.

The girls then sat around and Yuri told them about the conversation that we had in the car. Sooyoung and Hyoyeon then looked at me after Yuri had done talking.

"So no Valentine's day celebration?" Both of them said at the same time.

I looked at them with my mouth opened before I smiled. "Don't worry. The plan is still on. I just need to call and make arrangements for it. Taeng, pass me the house phone."

Taeyeon who was busy messaging on her phone, didn't hear me so Yuri was the one who took the house phone for me. 'This midget is always busy with her phone.' I said to myself as I dialed a number.

Meanwhile inside a cab:

"Jessi, by any chance, did you ask Jae about her condition earlier on?" Tiffany asked.

The girls had decided to go to Taeyeon's house to take a look at their girlfriend's condition. Tiffany, Sunny and Jessica were sharing a cab while Yoona and Seohyun shared another cab. Jessica turned to look at Tiffany who was sitting on the other side with Sunny in between them.

"Jae's condition? You mean her injury? Hhhmmm... I don't think so. I thought she said that it's just bruises and cuts?" Jessica took out her phone to read back the messages that was sent from Jae earlier. Sunny took a peek at the messages and shook her head.

"Sica, no wonder Jae sound so cold with her reply. It's obvious that she's upset that you didn't call to ask her about her condition. You even said that you didn't call because you knew she's going to call you to explain. So does that mean if Jae didn't call you, you will never ask her about it?" Sunny commented.

Jessica then realised that her words might have caused a misunderstanding between her and Jae. "That's not what I meant. She already said that their injuries are bruises and cuts which had been treated. They've even left the hospital so I thought that everything is settled. Do you both think that Jae is angry with me?" Jessica asked Tiffany and Sunny who just shrugged their shoulders.

Sunny then took Jessica's phone and scrolled the messages. "Sica, if you read the message properly, Jae said that most of them had bruises and cuts. From what I've read so far, Jae doesn't seem to include herself in the explanation. So it's either she's not injured like the rest of the girls or she's had it worse than them." Sunny commented, making Jessica looked worried.

"I don't think Jae's angry with you though. Taetae just messaged me, saying that the Valentine's day plan is still on and Jae is currently making arrangement for it." Tiffany said as both Sunny and Jessica looked at each other.

"Uncle, do you know where we can buy the most delicious porridge around this area?" Jessica suddenly asked the cab driver who then nodded his head. Asking him to bring them there before going to Taeyeon's house, Jessica leaned back on the car seat feeling worried and scared at the same time.

"Okay, everything is settled. I've already made arrangement for the rental of a boat. They will help to decorate the boat and placed 5 tables for two on board. Rental of boat will come along with a captain so we don't have to worry about having to operate the boat. Dinner will be provided by another company whereby the caterer will provide one server and one chef to follow us on board. The boat will cruise off at 7.30pm so you guys will have to be there with your girlfriends, latest by 7.15pm. Okay?" I informed the girls who nodded their heads.

"Jae, how much will all of these cost?" Taeyeon asked as the rest looked at me.

"Taeng, you should know I never disclose the amount of money I spend on my friends. If you're worried about the cost, how about this? All of you can come up with a performance for the night and everything will be on me." I suggested to them.

"But we're left with only 6 days to practice. What if I end up looking like a fool in front of Fany?" Taeyeon asked. 

"That won't be the first time anyway." Sooyoung commented as the rest of us laughed at her comment. "By the way, me and Hyo have decided to perform a dance for that night. Hyo will be my dancing teacher." 

"Can I join in too?" Yuri asked as Sooyoung and Hyoyeon looked at each other before nodding their heads.

"Hey, then what about me? I want to join in too." Taeyeon said but to her dismay, she was rejected by the 3 girls who laughed at her.

"Taeng, just sing a song. Fany loves to hear you sing. So just do that for her." I suggested as Taeyeon took some time before finally agreeing to it.

We were about to continue talking when we heard the bell at the gate went off. Taeyeon went to check at the camera and saw Yoona and Seohyun waving their hands at them. Taeyeon opened the gate and the 2 girls entered. Hyoyeon opened the main door for them as the 2 girls gasped at what they saw. Hyoyeon, Sooyoung and Yuri had scratch marks on their arms and some visible bruises on their legs too. Taeyeon only had scratch marks on her arms.

"Oh my god, you girls look.... funny." Yoona said before laughing out loud while Seohyun just shook her head.

"Yoongie, how can you laugh at us? It hurts okay." Yul pouted as she pointed at the scratch marks on her arms. 

"Did you guys fight with cats or girls?" Seohyun asked as she walked towards Hyoyeon and sat beside her.

"They're not cats. More like tigress. The way they scratch us and even kick us on our legs was really scary. Lucky, Jae was able to knock that guy out with her boxing skills." Hyoyeon explained as Seohyun took Hyoyeon's hands to look at the scratches.

"Is the rest of the girls coming too?" Sooyoung asked as Seohyun and Yoona nodded their heads.

I suddenly felt like I needed to use the toilet but the moment I stood up, I heard gasps coming from Seohyun and Yoona. Since I've been sitting down, the 2 of them were not aware of my injury as their eyes were now at my bandaged right ankle.

"Jae!! What happen to your ankle?" Yoona asked as she and Seohyun walked up to me. "Besides the cut on your upper left lips and bruises on your arms, you even had your ankle bandaged. Does Sica know about this?"

By then, Yuri was already standing beside me as my arms went over her shoulders. "It's just a sprained ankle. Should be fine soon." I said as I smiled at them.

Yuri helped me to the toilet and went back to the other girls after telling me to shout her name once I'm done. 5minutes after Yuri went back to the living room, the gate bell rang again. Opening the gate and the main door, Taeyeon smiled dorkily at her girlfriend while Sunny and Jessica walked in. Tiffany then joined the other two who had walked all the way to the dining table. The rest of the girls just looked on with a confused expression.

"What did you girls bring? Food?" Sooyoung asked as she got excited when Sunny nodded her head. 

"It's porridge for the 5 of you. The cab driver brought us to a well-known place nearby. Anyway, where's Jae?" Jessica asked as she looked around.

No one answered her as Tiffany and Sunny were busy looking at their girlfriends injuries. Even Seohyun and Yoona were busy with their girlfriends too. As Jessica continued to stare at them, the girls felt a sudden chill in the atmosphere as they slowly turned to look at Jessica.

"Jae's in the toilet." Yuri quickly answered. "She'll shout for me once she's done."

"Shout for you? Why would she need to shout for you?" Jessica asked as Yuri facepalmed herself when she realised her slip of tongue. Jessica saw Yuri's reaction and suddenly her eyes were wide-opened. "Is Jae okay?"

The silence in the room just made Jessica became more worried. She was about to make her way to the toilet when she heard me calling out for Yuri. She stopped Yuri from moving and walked towards the toilet.

"Oh my god, Jaegi. What happened to your ankle?" 

Hearing her voice suddenly froze me on the spot. As she walked towards me in a rush and put my arms over her shoulders, I was too dumfounded to give any reaction to her question.

"Did you sprained your ankle during the fight?" I nodded my head as Jessica slowly brought me to the dining table. Once I was seated, she softly touched the cut that was on my upper left lip and also the bruises on my arms. "Does it still hurt?" Once again, I just nodded my head.

Seeing that I wasn't talking to her, Jessica sighed as she bite her lips and looked down. "Are you angry with me, Jaegi?"

I shook my head and I noticed Jessica's eyes became teary. "Anni. I'm not. I'm just too shock to see you here. I thought you'll be too busy to come and see me." I said but I quickly regretted my words as I realised that my tone of voice was very sarcastic. Jessica was about to move away from me when I quickly grabbed her wrist. "Mianhae, Sica. I didn't mean to say it in such a sarcastic manner."

"It's okay, Jae. I guess I deserve it. I didn't even bother to ask you about your condition and you must have been upset when there's no missed calls from me. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make it look like I wasn't concern about you. I just thought that all of you needed some more time before answering our calls." Jessica explained herself.

"Sica told us that the reason that all of you are not able to answer our calls is because you're not able to do so." Yoona added on.

"But you should've at least told Sica about your injury, Jae." Sunny looked at me and then pointed to Jessica. "Your girlfriend is not that good with reading between the lines." Sunny then laughed at her own remarks.

"But Jae's injury seemed to be the worst out of the rest. Are you really okay?" Tiffany asked.

"I'm fine. It's just a slight sprain. I lost my balance after giving the guy an uppercut to his chin. But he did managed to give me a punch before that. Which explains the cut on my lips." I pointed to my lips.

"So can we eat now?" Sooyoung suddenly asked, causing all of us to laugh even though I noticed that Jessica was still looking sad.

"Hey, don't think about it anymore okay." I smiled warmly at Jessica as I pulled her on to my lap. "Bogoshipo. I really missed you a lot, Sicababy."

"I miss you too, Jaegi. But I shouldn't be sitting on your lap. It'll add pressure on your ankle. Let me feed you instead." Jessica stood up and took a seat in front of me.

Everything seemed to be back to normal as all of us enjoyed the food and chatted together but the fun and laughter ended sooner than expected.

"Why can't you stay the night?" I asked as I folded my arms across my chest and stared at Jessica.

"I need to help Omma out, remember?" Jessica said in a soft tone.

"But it's only for one night. The last time you slept over was a few weeks ago." I said as I pouted. 

The rest of the girls just watched as Jessica gave an eye signal to Tiffany and Sunny to help her out. Both of them looked at each other before turning to look at their girlfriends. Whispering to them, Sooyoung and Taeyeon nodded their heads.

I saw Taeyeon and Sooyoung walking towards me as they stood in front of me. Once they blocked my view from Jessica, they started to whisper to me.

"Jae, are you planning to tell the girls about your Valentine's day plan?" Taeyeon asked me as I shook my head.

"We need to practice for that night." Sooyoung whispered to me. "It's better for Sica not to be here until the day itself."

"Mwo?" I whispered back to the 2 girls. "Until the day itself? But what has your practice got to do with me?"

"Please, Jae. We're already running out of time and Taeng's place is the most convenient for us to practice." Sooyoung said as Taeyeon nodded her head.

I looked at the both of them and sighed. "Fine." I stood up and pushed the 2 girls aside lightly. "Sica, I'm so sorry but it seems that you won't be able to stay the night like I wanted to. Take care of yourself and no matter how busy you are, helping out Omoni, don't forget to get enough rest. Anyway, Taeng and Soo will send you girls back home."

Jessica nodded her head and pecked me on my cheeks while the rest of the girls bid farewell to their girlfriends. I walked Jessica to the door and watched as she entered the car along with Tiffany. Sooyoung will be sending Sunny, Yoona and Seohyun home. After both cars left, I sighed as I felt Yuri lifting my arms over her shoulders.

"Time to get some rest, Jae. You need to get well soon."

Meanwhile in the car:

"Taeng, thank you for your help earlier. I really didn't know how to answer Jae when she wanted me to stay over night." Jessica said as she leaned back to the car seat.

"No worries. Soo did most of the talking since she's quite witty and can come up with a lot of reasons. Anyway, why can't you at least stay the night, Sica? It's only for one night anyway." Taeyeon asked as she focused on the road.

"There's not enough time left, Taeng. I need to practice everyday so that I won't make a fool out of myself on that day." Jessica explained.

"I understand. I just hope that Jae will be able to understand too especially when she's having that injury. " Taeyeon voiced out her concern.

"In this case, we'll need you, Yul, Soo and Hyo to help us out. Take care of Jae on Sica's behalf. She's already halfway through her plan. Hopefully everything goes on smoothly." Tiffany said as Taeyeon nodded her head.
