"So how's everything at the moment, Jae?" Taeyeon asked as both of us looked through the choices of ice-cream available. "One regular cup of vanilla flavour and one regular cup of maple caramel, please."

Both me and Taeyeon were at the ice-cream parlour in the mall while our girlfriends had went off to look for the clothing materials for their design at the shop next door.

"So far, everything seems to be fine." I replied as Taeyeon handed over my maple caramel ice-cream and walked to a nearby table.

"I was actually upset when I found out about your problem in your studies. We promise to confide in each other if there's any problem, remember?" Taeyeon had a serious expression with a tint of disappointment in her voice.

"Mianhae, Taeng. It's not that I didn't want to confide in you. I thought I could handle it myself without burdening anyone else." I replied truthfully.

"I thought you didn't want to confide in me anymore since nowadays I myself will usually confide in Fany. But that doesn't mean that I don't want to confide in you or you can't confide in me, you know." Taeyeon said as she frowned at me, trying to see if I get her point. "I mean if..."

"Gwenchana, Taeng. I understand what you mean and I'm thankful for that. But it's really not because I didn't want to confide in you." I smiled as I ate a spoonful of my ice-cream. "By the way, do you have Uee's contact number?"

"Uee? Wae?" Taeyeon was surprised with my request.

"I was thinking of arranging a meet up with her." I replied non-chalantly.

"Mwo? Meet-up? Does Sica know about this?" Taeyeon asked with her eyes wide open.

"Actually, Sica was the one who suggested it. She wanted me to meet up with Uee to clear the misunderstandings between us. She said that ever since you brought up the story about meeting Uee coincidentally and also told us about her side of the story, it had bothered her a lot knowing that there seem to be a lot of misunderstandings between me and Uee." I explained before sighing.

"Are you sure you're ready to face her again, Jae? What if she's still waiting for you to accept her feelings? And what if everything that happens was actually the result of your rejection?" Taeyeon asked as she reminded me of Seohyun's question and asked if I was ready to face the truth.

I placed my left elbow on the table with my palm supporting my chin as my right hand kept twirling the ice-cream spoon, playing around with it.

"Why are you playing with your food, Jaegi?"

I was startled to hear Jessica's voice as my body jerk suddenly, causing the spoon to topple the cup of ice-cream onto the table.

"Mianhae, mianhae." I kept bowing as I took a few napkins and started to clean the table.

"What were you thinking about before I came? You were so lost in thoughts that you got startled when I talked to you." Jessica asked when I came back to the table after throwing away the mess.

"Uee." I replied as I sat down beside Jessica, causing Tiffany to look at me with a surprised expression. "I asked Taeng if she has Uee's contact number since I was thinking of arranging a meet-up with her."

"Didn't she always message you the well-wishes? You didn't keep her number?" Jessica asked as I took out my phone.

"Oh my gawd, both of you have really improved a lot since that incident. I can't believe that Jae will be so honest in replying to Jessi's question and also for Jessi not to be jealous about the whole matter." Tiffany commented as I grinned and scrolled down my message inbox.

"Actually I was the one who suggested for Jae to meet up with Uee." Jessica said, giving Tiffany her 2nd shock for the day. "I feel that there's a lot of misunderstandings and unresolved problems between them. I just want Jae to have a piece of mind by clearing all that."

"But what if Uee starts to confess her feelings to Jae again? Are you going to reject her for the 2nd time?" Tiffany's question made me froze as I looked up from the phone and just stared at the table.

No one said anything for the next 10 seconds as I sighed and kept my phone back. "I think I'll have to think again about this meet-up. Anyway, how's the shopping? Did you guys manage to get everything?"

Jessica opened to say something but she ended up just nodding her head. Tiffany and Taeyeon saw the awkward reaction from Jessica so they decided to quickly change the subject and started to talk about school work, especially Tiffany's design project.

"So is it true that the best design will have their model's photo posted up around the school campus?" I asked as I suddenly remembered what Sooyoung said.

"That's right. And also the chance for their design to be submitted to a well-known fashion company. Our lecturer said that she will choose the top 3 design." Tiffany explained.

"So if your design is selected, does that mean Sica's face will be all over the campus?" Taeyeon asked as Tiffany and Jessica nodded their head.

"Her face with another guy." I said with a sulky tone as I puffed up my cheeks and looked away.

"Omo omo omo... Did I just witness Jae's jealousy act? I can't believe I manage to see that for the first time. I need to tell Yul about this." Taeyeon said as she took out her phone.

"Yah!! I was not jealous okay." I retorted as I gritted my teeth at Taeyeon.

"Yeah right. As if I would believe you." Taeyeon replied with a mocking expression as I tried to lean forward to grab her collar.

"Jae has never been jealous before?" Jessica's question stopped me from advancing as I sat back down on my chair.

"Not that I know of. I've never actually seen her being jealous before. Even when Taecyeon or Donghae were present in Sica's life, I've never seen her act this way before." Taeyeon replied as she smirked at me. "Even as we grew up together when her Omma or Appa sometimes will take my side or pamper me more than her, I've never seen her lose her cool. When we were in middle and high school, Jae was always known as the cool one among the 3 of us. She always manage to keep her emotions in check."

"I still do. Let me repeat myself. I'm not jealous." I pouted and folded my arms as I felt a peck on my left cheek from Jessica.

"Kyeopta. I didn't know you can be so cute when you're jealous. Being sulky and child-like." Jessica said as she giggled.

"I'm not..." I wasn't able to complete my sentence when Tiffany cut me off.

"So Jae is the cool one among the 3 of you. Then how about you and Yul?" Tiffany asked Taeyeon.

"Cool Jae, Charming Yul and Dorky Taeng. That's our nickname last time." Taeyeon replied.

"So who's the one with the the most number of admirers?" Jessica asked as.

"Yul!" Both me and Taeyeon replied at the same time before we laughed out loud and gave each other a high-five.

"Jaegi, about Uee. If you're really burdened with my suggestion, you don't have to go ahead with it." Jessica said as I stopped the car at the red light.

We were making our way back to the dorm after leaving the mall about 10mins ago. I had expected Jessica to bring up the matter after I saw her reaction when I said that I will have to think about the matter again.

"I'm not burdened, Sicababy. I suddenly visualise the scenario if Uee really confess to me again and trust me, it's not that good." I said as I sighed and focussed back on to the road. "Like what Fany said, rejecting her for the 2nd time and especially with you around, would be harsh for her."

"Do you think it'll be better if I don't follow you? Maybe you can meet-up with her by yourself." Jessica suggested.

"Anni, anni.. I want you to be there." I grabbed Jessica's left that was on her lap. "I need you to be there for me. I want Uee to know and accept the fact that my heart has already belonged to someone else."

"But like you said, won't it be cruel to her especially if she's still hoping for you?" Jessica asked the same question as Taeyeon earlier. "I'm sorry for suggesting all this. I just didn't want you to continue hating someone in your life. Seeing how badly you reacted to just the mere mention of her name, I knew that was a lot of pain in your past."

"Actually, after listening to her side of the story from Taeng, I did ponder if my anger towards her was necessary." I sighed as I drove on as the traffic lights turned green.

We didn't talk anymore until we reached the campus as both of us were lost in our own thoughts. Carrying all the shopping bags in one hand, I walked hand in hand with Jessica towards TaeNy who were waiting for us beside their car.

"Yah!! How come you can manage to carry all of that in one hand?" Taeyeon asked as I saw her carrying the bags in both hands.

"You need to follow me to the gym and exercise those hands. You do realise that you're actually quite delicate, right?" I teased Taeyeon as a revenge for the earlier teasing by her.

"Yah!! I'm not delicate okay." Taeyeon said as she gritted her teeth.

"And I'm not the jealous type." I said as I meronged at her.

Me and Taeyeon were still squabbling with each other even as we walked into our girlfriends dorm. We only stopped when we heard Yuri's voice.

"Aigoo.. This two kids can never stop being childish. What's the issue about now?" Yuri asked as both of us tried to tell her our side of the story. A flick on our foreheads silenced both of us automatically. "One at a time. I can't believe that both of you never change since middle school."

"Charming Yul." Yuri's attention diverted to Jessica who was the one who voiced it out.

"How did you know my nickname?" Yuri scratched the back of her head.

"Taetae and Jae told us about it earlier. About all 3 of your nicknames." Tiffany answered before turning to Yoona. "Did you know that Yul had a lot of admirers back then since middle school? It seems that she's quite popular among the boys and girls."

By then, both me and Taeyeon were already silently trying to sneak our way to the main door when we felt our ears being pulled by someone. Turning our heads, we saw a serious-looking Yul who pulled us by our ears and dragged us back to the living room. Both of us chuckled when we saw our girlfriends and Yoona looking at us with a confused expression.

"It seems to me that the both of you have been talking about me behind my back, am I right?" Yuri suddenly drapped her left arm on my shoulders with her right arm on Taeyeon's. "But I think the storyline is partially correct. Don't you both agree?"

As Yuri tightened her grips on our shoulders, both of us chuckled and slowly nodded our heads. Yuri then told us to repeat what we have said to our girlfriends but this time round, with the correct information.

"Yul did have a lot of admirers in middle school but in high school, her popularity dropped." Taeyeon said as Tiffany asked why was that so. "As you all know, Yuri already had a thing for Yoona since middle school. So when Yul found out that Yoona went to a different high school, she became upset and wasn't her normal cheerful self."

"So in high school, who was the most popular among the 3 of you?" Yoona asked as Yuri and Taeyeon suddenly turned to look at me.

"Yah!! I wasn't the only one who was popular okay." I retorted as I turned around to see Jessica folding her arms. "Actually, all 3 of us were popular at different time of the year. During the first year, I was popular because of my futsal skills. Taeng got popular during the 2nd year after she sang at one of our school's function and Yul became popular after she stopped being depressed over Yoona in the 3rd year and became her normal cheerful and charming self."

"Anni, anni..." Both Yuri and Taeyeon denied my story with a poker face, waving their hands at me as I glared at them, causing them to start laughing.

"Jae saw Sica's expression and is panicking now." Yuri said as she nudged Taeyeon's elbow.

"You should have seen her being jealous earlier. Puffing her cheeks and pouting away." Taeyeon added her comment with a teasing tone.

"Yah!! Kwon Yuri! Kim Taeyeon! Stop kidding around." I said as I frowned and arched my eyebrow.

Yuri and Taeyeon continued laughing before finally admitting that what I said was the truth. Taeyeon continued explaining that actually none of us were even sure who was more popular among the 3 of us.

"The 3 of us never really bothered with the student's interests in us. We only just enjoyed doing what we like most like futsal, performing for some school function and hanging out by ourselves. We actually said Yul's name earlier for the fun of it." Taeyeon explained.

"Ever since what happened in middle school, we didn't really mingle much with other students. We were afraid of being hurt again." I said as I saw Jessica's expression changed as she held out her hands and gestured me to come closer.

I sat down on the floor in front of Jessica who was seated on the couch as she wrapped her arms gently around my neck. Yuri and Taeyeon also sat near their girlfriends.

"By the way, what was Jae being jealous about? It's the first time that I actually heard Jae being jealous. Usually she's very calm and cool about everything." Yuri asked as Taeyeon started to explain everything to Yuri. "Jinjja? She's jealous because Sica's photo will be around the campus with another guy?"

"It's a couple photo. It's not individually taken." I retorted again as I frowned.

"See that? That's the jealousy act that I was talking about. Jae being sulky is something that is rarely seen." Taeyeon said as she grinned dorkily before being smacked in the face by a flying pillow that was thrown by me.

All hell broke loose as we started to throw pillows at one another and were actually enjoying all that until we heard the front door opening.

"Mwoya?!! What's with all this mess?" Seohyun's voice echoed throughout the room as we quickly cleared up the mess.

It could have been the perfect day for me.

That morning, Mr Han complimented me for the improvement shown in my school work. He said that he has seen my latest assignment and he's glad to say that finally, I'm showing him my capabilities. But he did reminded me to continue working hard because even with the improvements that I had made, there's still some topics that I'm lacking in.

(Flashback)

I was getting ready to leave the class when Mr Han called me to the front. I was feeling nervous as I turned to look at Sunny.

"I'll wait for you outside, Jae." Sunny patted my back and walked through the back door of the classroom as I walked to the front.

"Seonsaeng-nim." I bowed slightly to the lecturer.

"Ah, Jae. Why do you look nervous?" Mr Han smiled at me as he pushed up his glasses. "Don't worry. It's nothing bad. I just want to praise you for your improvements. The latest assignment that you submitted, I was actually quite impressed with it. It seems that you've been putting in more efforts in your studies. Good job."

"Jinjja? You were impressed?" I asked again to confirm.

"Yes. It was much better than what I had expected but there is still improvements that need to be done since I spotted a few mistakes. Have you been studying a lot with Sunny?" The elderly man asked.

"Yes, sir. She's been helping me a lot. Even my Appa is helping out too. He's been sending me materials that can be of help to my revision." I explained to him as he nodded his head.

"That's a good thing to do. Never be afraid to ask for help when you need it. You can also come to me if you need help. Remember to continue to work hard. Who knows, you might be able follow Sunny for the enrichment programme next year." Mr Han said as he told me that I'm permitted to go off.

I was feeling light-hearted with the news as I walked out from the class with a grin. Sunny was waiting for me near the staircase while concentrating on her phone.

"Lee SoonKyu!!" I half-shouted at her as I saw her startled and almost dropped her phone.

Instantly, she turned around and hit me on my head with a light smack. "Yah!! I could have dropped my phone, you know. And what did you just call me?" I grinned at her before running off while shouting her real name. "Park Hyun Jae!! You going to get it from me."

(Back to present time)

I was smiling by myself as I took off my training shoes. The other girls were also changing their footwear after our futsal practice.

"I'm glad Jae had improved herself with her practice performance." Taeyeon said as she wiped the sweat from her forehead. "3 more days and the competition will start."

"Seems like Jae is in a very good mood today. She was playing with so much zest that I can't keep up with her stamina level." Yuri commented as she passed a bottle of water to Yoona.

"She was complimented by Mr Han for her improvement in her assignments. Looks like all the hard work of spending long hours at the library is finally paying off and showing results." Sunny explained.

"It's all thanks to Sunny for helping me out with my school work." I said as I put my training shoes into my duffel bag.

"Then how about me?" I turned my head to see a pouting Jessica, accompanied by Tiffany and Seohyun on her sides.

"You too, my Sicababy. You help to take care of my health by cooking for me healthy food and accompanying me during my revision. Gomawo." I smiled widely as Jessica sat down beside me and returned my smile. "Today is like the perfect day for me."

"You guys finished early today. Usually you will end the cheerleading practice 15mins after us." Taeyeon talked to Tiffany who had joined her on the bench.

"Since the competition will commence in 3 days time, our coach decided to release us earlier as a reward for our hard work in practice." Tiffany replied.

"Do you guys have any plans tomorrow?" Hyoyeon asked as all of us got ready to walk out from the sports hall. When everyone said that they didn't have any plans, Hyoyeon suggested to go down to the mall. "The sole of my shoes are already worn out. I need to get a new pair for the upcoming competition."

Everyone agreed to her suggestion and were continuing our way when suddenly Tiffany and Jessica stopped walking. Both of them were staring at their phones and when they looked up to face each other, both had the same suprised expression.

"Oh my gawd!!!" Tiffany said as she covered while Jessica suddenly gave out her face dolphin scream.

The rest of us just stood there, looking at the two girls as they hugged each other and started to dance and jump around in circles. Taeyeon who was beside me nudged me at the sides with her elbow.

"Do you think it's time for us to get a new girlfriend?" Taeyeon chuckled as I laughed at her joke but our laughters were short-lived when we heard Tiffany's voice.

"Why are the two of you laughing?" Tiffany pointed her finger at both of us.

Before we could answer her, Hyoyeon came from behind. "They were discussing if they should get a new girlfriend."

Both of us froze on the spot as we watched Hyoyeon walked past us with a poker face to join Seohyun who was already walking ahead.

"New girlfriend?" Jessica squinted her eyes at me as she walked nearer, along with Tiffany who was approaching Taeyeon.

"Aaaarrrgghhhh!!!"

15mins later, me and Taeyeon were in our girlfriends living room while rubbing our ears that had turned red. Our girlfriends had pulled us by the ear all the way until we stopped in front of their dorm. I saw Yuri and Sooyoung looking at us with a confused expression while Hyoyeon just stared at us before shaking her head.

"Yah!! Don't you dare shake your head, Hyo. Your expression seem to say as if we're at fault. If not because of your passing remarks, we won't be like this." Taeyeon nagged at Hyoyeon who then explained to Yuri and Sooyong about what she did earlier.

Soon after she finished, both Yuri and Sooyoung broke out into a laughter as Hyoyeon joined in.

"Fany-ah, Sica-yah. You both knew they were just kidding around right?" Yuri asked after they stopped laughing.

Tiffany and Jessica nodded their heads as Sunny, Yoona and Seohyun walked in to the living room with plates of fruits and a jug of water from the kitchen.

"But even so, they shouldn't joke around like that. It's kind of upsetting to know they have this kind of thoughts." Tiffany said as she glanced at Taeyeon before looking away.

"I didn't have that thought. It was Taeng who said it." I tried to defend myself.

"But you laughed along with her which means you agreed to her statement." Jessica answered back as I bite my lips, feeling guilty.

"Mianhae. We didn't mean to hurt your feelings with our playfulness." I said as Taeyeon also apologised.

"Just don't say those words again. You're lucky both me and Jessi are in a better mood today because of the message that our lecturer had send to us." Tiffany said as she took our her phone to show Taeyeon.

"Omo!! Your design project is one of the top 3. Which means your design will be selected to be send to a fashion company. Daebak!" Taeyeon said as she showed the message to me. "Congratulations to both of you."

I read the message again and was about to congratulate them when I suddenly remembered something, causing me to pout. "When will they start posting up the photoshoot of your designs around the school?"

I guessed Jessica could read my mind as I saw her smirking before she walked towards me and sat on my lap.

"Feeling jealous again?" She asked as she pinched my pout gently.

"Of course. You didn't even show me the end result of your photoshoot." I was about to become sulky again when I noticed the rest of the girls were grinning at me. "Yah!! What's with all the dorky grins on all your faces?"

The whole room erupted into laughter as they started to tease me. I rolled my eyes at them and leaned my back to the couch.

"Here's the photo. I didn't manage to show you because we were rushing to complete everything." Jessica said as she handed me her phone.

"Mwoya!!" My loud reaction shocked everyone as they became quiet and looked at us. "Is the skinship really necessary?"

"What's wrong?" Taeyeon asked as Tiffany showed her something on her phone. "Ouuhhh.. No wonder her reaction is like that."

Everyone took turns to look at the photo while I continued to pout. Jessica then turned her body slightly and wrapped her arms on my neck.

"What's on your mind right now, Jaegi? Honestly."

I looked into her eyes and shook my head. "Shiro. I don't like it. As a whole, your design is nice. Very sweet for a couple-wear. But I don't like the way he's holding you. You both look intimate."

"Jaegi, do you trust me?" Jessica asked with a soft tone of voice as I nodded my head. "I can finally understand how you felt when I became jealous with you."

"Huh?" I looked at her with a confused expression as it took me sometime to understand what she meant. "Ahhh.. But still this is too much. This photo will be around the campus for one whole month. Students are going to start shipping you both together."

"Jae, I think you're thinking too deep into this. It's just a design project. Don't stress yourself out. Anyway, I think a lot of students already knew that you nad Jessi are a couple." Tiffany tried to enlighten the atmosphere.

I sighed as I nodded my head. "Mianhae. I guess I let my feelings took over my judgement. Like I said, the design is nice. Simple and cute. Congratulations on being selected by the way. Hopefully the fashion company can see the talents that both of you have because I sincerely think that you both can go far in this industry."

"Thank you, Jaegi. For your honesty and support. Love you." Jessica smiled as she leaned in to peck my cheek.

"Love you too. But still, no more modelling with any other guy from now onwards." I said before sticking out my tongue at her while the rest of the girls started to tease me again.
