Jessica's POV:

There's so many things in my mind right now that I don't even know where to begin. Never would I have imagine for Jae to have gone through such experience at a very young age. Being taunted, being judged, being bullied were things that I hated the most. I've had my fair share of being judged too but I don't think it can even match to Jae's level. I was judged to be a cold person because of the way I look and since I don't realy like to mingle, others thought that I was arrogant. But that was it. I was never bullied or taunted before. Even the name 'ice princess' sounded much better compared to the ones that Jae had received.

Another thing in my mind right now is that particular person. Kim Yu jin aka Uee. When I first heard about her, all I could envision was someone who was making use of Jae and a very selfish person. But after knowing about her side of the story from Taeyeon, I had my doubts. Even Jae mentioned that she was actually a nice person and she doesn't understand why all those things happened. Well, not until Seohyun threw her that question though. Even I was surprised by it. Could it really be because of Jae's rejection and a wrong decision made that had caused all the misunderstandings between them?

"Hey Sica, are you okay back there?" Sunny's voice interrupted my train of thoughts.

"I'm fine. Just feeling sleepy. Maybe I'll take a nap. Wake me up later, okay." I replied, trying to sound as normal as I could.

One last reason as to why my mind is in overdrive. Ailee. 

(Flashback 30mins earlier)

"Okay, I'm done." Sooyoung said as she wiped with the napkin and drank a glass of water that Sunny had passed to her.

"I almost fell asleep, waiting for you to finish your food." Hyoyeon teased as Sooyoung just meronged at her.

Everyone laughed at Hyoyeon's comment. Well, I did try to laugh as normal but I guess Jae could sense the difference as she grabbed my hands and rubbed it slowly.

"Are you sure you're okay?" She asked for the 4th time that night ever since we stopped talking about her past and was waiting for Sooyoung to finish eating.

"I'm fine, Jaegi." I replied but the arched eyebrow on Jae's face showed that she didn't really believe me. "Maybe I'm just getting sleepy. It's almost 1am anyway." I showed her my watch as she slowly nodded her head.

"Let's go home and get some rest then. " Jae smiled at me before leaning in and gave me a peck on my side temple. "Everyone, I think it's time to head back. My princess needs her beauty sleep."

I smiled a little when I saw the scrunched up faces of some of the girls as all of us stood up. Jae went to make the payment as we headed towards the exit door.

"Thanks for coming, everyone. I really enjoyed the time spent with all of you." Ailee said, making everyone turned to face her and smiled. "I'll make a move then. Hope to see you around." Ailee waved her hands and was about to walk away when Tiffany suddenly stopped her.

"Wait, Ailee. How are you getting home? There's no more train or buses at this hour." Tiffany asked as all of us realised the truth in her words.

"I'll just get a cab home. No worries." Ailee replied with a smile.

"A cab?" Everyone turned to look at Jae who had just walked out from the door as she stood beside me. "Why need a cab when we have 5 cars among us?"

"That's true. You can just hitch a ride with Hyo or me since you can't fit into their sports car." Sooyoung pointed to Jae, Taeyeon and Yuri.

I noticed Ailee hesitated for a while before her eyes stopped at Jae for a split second. She then turned to face Sooyoung and said that she didn't want to be a burden to anyone and that she'll be fine with just taking the cab.

"Why don't you hitch a ride with Jae and I'll take SooSun's car?" I suddenly suggested which caused Jae to look at me with a confused expression. "Your car is the fastest among all so it'll take you a shorter time to travel to and fro." I knew my reason was lame as I saw a slight frown on Jae's face. "Just send her home, please."

I gave Jae a hug and pecked her on her cheeks. I knew Jae wanted to decline my suggestion but after the hug and the kiss that I gave her, she just nodded her head slowly. All of us said our goodbyes again and that was how I ended up in SooSun's car.

Jessica's POV:

As I looked out the window, I kept thinking as to why I suggested for that arrangement earlier. Was it because I felt that Ailee is more comfortable being around Jae than the rest? Maybe it was because of the look in Ailee's eyes when she momentarily looked at Jae when Soo offered to take her home. Or was it because I felt like I needed some time alone, away from Jae? I thought back about what Taeyeon said earlier at the table. Even though she didn't manage to finish her sentence, which I presumed was because of Jae who had kicked her under the table, I can roughly guessed what she had wanted to say. Is Uee still hoping for Jae to return her feelings after all these years?

I heard a beeping sound of an incoming message before Sunny's voice echoed in the car.

"Are you already asleep, Sica?" I heard Sunny asking me again.

I knew Sunny was worried about me. I noticed that she had whispered something to Jae before we left the table earlier as Jae just nodded her head. I didn't answer Sunny's question. 'I'm sorry, Sunny but I'm just too preoccupied to even reply to you at the moment.' I thought to myself as I closed my eyes.

Ailee's POV:

It was my first time sitting in such a luxurious car. It was like a dream came true. I've been imagining myself riding the car ever since I started working in the showroom. I suddenly smiled to myself as I looked out the window.

"Is there something funny outside?" I heard Jae asked me suddenly as I turned to face her.

"Anni... Wae?" I asked as I frowned a bit.

"You've been smiling to yourself for the past 5mins. I was starting to wonder if school work is starting to stress you out and causing you to be..." Jae used her right hand to show a gesture of a mental problem. 

"Yah!!" I slapped her lightly on her right arm as she laughed it off. "I'm just excited to be able to ride in my dream car. This car is really awesome." I replied as I laughed out loud.

"For someone as pretty as you, your laughter is really unexpected." I looked at Jae as I stopped myself from laughing by covering my mouth. "Don't get me wrong. It's actually refreshing and addictive to hear your laughter." She smiled at me.

'Did Jae just complimented me? And that charming smile.' I could feel my heart beating very fast when I looked at Jae's smile.

"After hearing about your past Jae, I can finally understand why you're not as arrogant as other rich people that I've came across before and why the way your thinking is very matured and meticulous. Jessica is really lucky to have you in her life." I don't know why but I felt a tint of sadness when I said it to Jae.

Jae's POV:

I laughed again, hearing Ailee's words. "My past experience taught me to always be humble and always think through my actions. Ever since that incident, I rarely tell others about my family background." I smiled at her. "About me and Sica, I think we're lucky to have each other. But don't you find yourself lucky too? Lucky to have a friend like me." I smirked at her as she slapped me on my right arm again.

"Very lucky indeed." She replied as she looked straight in my eyes. For a split second, I thought I saw something different in her eyes but before I could read further, she turned away and laughed it off.

We were already reaching the university gates as she asked me to just stopped by the roadside. She said that she'll be fine walking up to her campus dorm since it's brightly lit up.

"I don't want other students to see me coming out from a Ferrari. It's going to start off unwanted speculation. I don't need all that." Ailee said before waving her hands to say goodbye and thanked me for the ride home.

After ensuring that she's already making her way in through the gates, I turned my car around and made my way back to my dorm. Throughout the journey back, I couldn't shake off the image of Ailee's eyes that I caught a glimpse of earlier. The pair of eyes were conveying a feeling that doesn't match the actions that she showed. Even though she was laughing it off, I could feel the sadness through her eyes. 'Is Ailee going through some hardship?'

My phone beeped, indicating a message as I took a glance of it. It was a message from Sunny.

To Hyun Jae:

I think Sica is already asleep in the backseat. She didn't reply to my question earlier.  We'll be reaching the dorm in 10mins time. Just come back fast but drive carefully. Arraseo?

I quickly typed in a short reply to Sunny before focussing back to the road. I had messaged Sunny earlier to ask her help to check on Jessica because her suggestion for me to send Ailee back earlier was something that I will never expect from my Sicababy. Knowing how jealous she can get, her actions caused confusion in me. 'There must be something that is troubling my Sicababy and I intend to find out what it is.'

I felt someone shaking my shoulders lightly as I opened one of my eyes slowly. The glaring sunlight made me twist my body to the sides to cover my eyes from it.

"Jaegi, wake up please." Once again the shaking started. 

Hearing Jessica's pleading voice, I pushed myself up to a sitting position but my head was still looking down with my eyes closed.

"How come you slept on the floor, Jaegi? You should have join me in the bed." I felt Jessica brushing my hair softly to the side.

"I didn't want to disturb your sleep. Furthermore, it might be uncomfortable for both of us since the bed is small." I replied before covering my mouth to stifle my yawn before smiling to Jessica with only one of my eye opened.

"Doesn't your back hurt, sleeping on the floor? You should have return to your room to sleep, Jaegi. You look so shagged right now."

"I must have been too tired to go back after coming in to check on you last night. That's why I just slept here." I grinned dorkily.

Before Jessica could continue our talk, Sunny burst through the bedroom door in a panic state.

"Sica, Shikshin said that Jae is missing. She didn't...." Sunny was talking really fast but when she saw me, she slowed down. "... return home last night."

"Morning, Sunny." I said while waving at her as Jessica covered her giggles.

"Yah!!! How come you're here? Do you know the other girls are panicking when they couldn't find you in the morning? Even your phone is off." Sunny nagged at me as I chuckled nervously.

I grabbed my phone that was beside me and showed her the black screen. "Mianhae. I think my phone ran out of battery."

Just as I finished my sentence, Tiffany ran in and bumped into Sunny while talking very fast too. "Have you informed Jessi about Jae?"

Tiffany followed Sunny's pointed finger and I saw Tiffany's eyes widened in surprise as I quickly covered my ears.

"YAAAHHHH!!!!"

(15mins later)

"I'm sorry, okay. Oh god... please put me down. I'm really getting dizzy. Please, guys. I promise I won't do it again."

My head was spinning furiously as I could feel the blood rushing down to my head. I was being punished for making the rest of the girls panicked with my disappearance. The punishment was to do a handstand against the wall. I wasn't able to do it properly so Sooyoung and Yuri held on to both my legs on each side. I've been doing it for the past 10mins and the two of them were being playful by not allowing me to end it.

"You should have thought about us when you decided to spend the night in Sica's room. Do you know how scared I was when I didn't find you in your room this morning?" Taeyeon said as she stood beside Yuri.

"Taeng practically ran around the whole house to look for you. Her actions woke all of us up." Hyoyeon added on.

"Then Hyo found out that your shoes were not at the shoe rack so we realised that you didn't came back." Yuri continued as she held on to my legs.

"Yul then tried calling you but couldn't get through your phone." It was Sooyung's turn to say her part.

"And this shikshin had to come up with the idea that you might have been involved in an accident last night. Obviously, that triggers off our panic state as we ran next door." Taeyeon ended the story.

"Look, I'm really sorry but can you please let me down? I can feel like blood is coming out from my nose." I felt the tight hold on my legs suddenly disappeared as I lost my balance. "Arrghhhh... my back." I screamed as my back and hit the floor.

The girls quickly surrounded me and started to massage my back when the doorbell rang. Hyoyeon went to open the door and the next thing I heard, was Jessica's voice.

"What's going on in here?"

I looked up and saw Jessica frowning with her arms folded. Tiffany, Sunny, Seohyun and Yoona were standing behind her, all with a confused expression. I suddenly felt cold around my stomach so I looked down and realised that my abs was exposed. It seems that Yuri and Taeyeon had lifted up my t-shirt slightly so that they can massaged my back while Sooyoung was still holding on to the hem of my t-shirt.

"Wait, wait... It's not like what you think it is. After the girls dragged me back to our own dorm, I was punished by them......" I quickly retold the whole story to avoid any further misunderstandings. "...... so they're just helping to massage my back." I ended it with a nervous grin.

"Oh my gosh, Taetae. How can you be so rowdy towards, Jae?" Tiffany nagged at Taeyeon as she walked to her girlfriend and pinched her cheeks softly. 'What if Jae really gets hurt?"

"Then I'm going to make sure that all of them suffers double the pain." Jessica answered as I saw Sooyoung, Yuri, Taeyeon and Hyoyeon gulped down their saliva. Jessica walked towards me and asked the 4 of them to move away. "I'll be the one massaging her back. Can someone pass me a medicated oil?"

Taeyeon quickly scrambled to the kitchen where we had placed our first aid kit box and return with a bottle of medicated oil. She grinned dorkily at Jessica as she handed her the bottle before sitting beside Tiffany.

Jessica lifted my t-shirt slightly at the back as I held on to the hem of the shirt from the front to prevent it from exposing my abs again. When Jessica started to press at a certain part, I jerked my body slightly and scrunched my face as I tried to withstand the pain.

"Does it hurt here?" Jessica asked as I nodded my head furiously. "I think you landed on something earlier. There seem to be a blue black spot on your back."

Everyone turned to look at the place where I fell earlier and saw my bunch of keys there. It must have fallen out from my pocket when I was doing the hand stand earlier. Yuri stood up and grabbed the keys before placing it on the table.

"Mianhae, Jae. I shouldn't have released your legs earlier and made you imbalance. Sorry for causing you hurt." Yuri said as Sooyoung also apologised.

"Gwenchana. The pain will go off soon. No worries." I smiled widely to ensure them that I was fine. "Anyway, it's going to be our last week of summer break. Does anyone have any plans?" I looked at everyone as the living room started to get noisy with all the suggestions coming in.

It's true when they say that time flies faster when you're having a great time. A week past by soon as all of us started to be busy for school again. We went fishing, cycling, swimming and whatever kind of activities that you can think of during the whole week. All of us were actually pretty shagged when we woke up today.

"Yah!! Who's idea was it to go to camping at the han river last night? I didn't get proper sleep with all the mosquitos around." Taeyeon grumbled the moment she walked out from her room.

It was already afternoon as Taeyeon joined me, Sooyoung and Hyoyeon at the dining table. Yuri was still sleeping from the time we get back to our dorm this morning.

"I thought it was your girlfriend who suggested it?" Sooyoung pointed to Taeyeon as she munched on a cookie.

"Fany? Really?" Taeyeon tilted her head to the side slightly as if trying to remember it. "Aahhhh... She did. I just remembered." Taeyeon giggled dorkily.

"Should we inform her that you're not happy with her suggestion and was grumbling at us?" Hyoyeon said with a teasing smirk as Taeyeon shook her head vigorously.

"She's upset not because of the mosquitos. She's upset because she didn't get to sleep with Fany in the same tent." I laughed out loud as Taeyeon tried to cover my mouth. "She kept mumbling at me last night to why we had to sleep separately from our girlfriends."

"That's because we jdhahjsjgbhgdahoejkja tents." Yuri came out with a dishevelled hair and covering to stifle her yawn.

"Mworago?" All of us said at the same time as we looked at Yuri with a confused look.

"I was saying that's because we only have two tents." Yuri repeated her sentence clearer without yawning as the rest of us nodded our heads.

"Do you think our girlfriends are already awake?" Hyoyeon asked as everyone shrugged their shoulders. "How about the 5 of us go out for some 'guys bonding time' before school starts tomorrow?"

Hyoyeon's suggestion brought everyone's attention to her. She then recommended for us to follow her to her dancing school to watch her juniors perform and chill out for a while. All of us agreed and messaged our girlfriends to inform them about it before we took turn to get ready.

(At the other dorm)

"Did you receive the same message too, Sunny?" Tiffany asked as Sunny nodded her head as she placed her phone on the living room table, alongside with Yoona's and Seohyun's phone. "Since they're planning to have a 'guys hangout', should we have ours too?"

"Is Sica still sleeping?" Sunny asked as Yoona and Seohyun nodded their heads."I'll wake her up while the 3 of you discussed about what we should do today, okay."

The girls were busy talking away when Sunny came back while practically dragging along a sleepy Jessica who has yet to open both her eyes. Sunny pushed Jessica softly to the couch and the sleephead automatically lied down across it, leaving no space for Sunny to sit.

"Yah!! Stop sleeping.. Ohhhh Jae, you're here." Sunny suddenly said in a surprised tone making Jessica sat up straight and her eyes wide opened. "She's not here. I said it to make you awake." Sunny took the opportunity to sit beside Jessica.

"Mwoya... I'm really sleepy right now." Jessica pouted as Tiffany quickly asked her if she had checked her phone. "Wae? Did something happen?"

"Anni, our girlfriends left us a message to inform that they're going out together to Hyo's dancing school to watch some performance and spend some 'guys bonding' time together." Yoona answered as she grabbed the watermelon that Seohyun had cut earlier.

"Guy's bonding time? But they're not guys." Jessica scratched her head in a confused state.

"They're the men in the relationship." Seohyun answered as Jessica nodded her head. "Anyway, we were thinking of going out to the movies and do some shopping but it would've been better if we have a car."

"Sunny, Seohyun. Why don't the two of you ask your girlfriends if we can use either one of their cars. I don't think the 5 of them are going to use all 5 cars anyway." Tiffany suggested as the two of them quickly took their phones and started typing. "In the meantime, the rest of us should start taking turns to get ready. And that includes you, sleeping beauty." Tiffany pinched Jessica lightly on her cheeks.

The girls were almost done getting ready as they gathered at the living room when they heard their doorbell rang. Yoona went to open the door with Sooyoung and Hyoyeon walking behind her. 

"Wah.... how come the two of you look so good? Are you sure you all are just going to spend time chilling out there?" Sunny said as she squinted her eyes at her tall girlfriend.

"Yeonnie, since when do you owe a pair of red jeans? I don't remember you having one." Seohyun asked as she put a finger under her chin, trying to think if she had remembered it correctly.

"This is Jae's. I borrowed from her since I ran out of jeans." Hyoyeon grinned dorkily while Seohyun just shook her head.

"Bunny, you said you wanted to use one of the cars right. Use Hyo's car then. Since it's bigger than our copper. The 5 of you can fit in comfortably but who's driving?" Sooyoung asked as the girls looked at each other.

They just realised that none of them was actually confident of each other's driving skills and they burst out loud. 

"What's the joke in here?" Yuri walked in with me and Taeyeon as Hyoyeon explained what actually happened that led to the laughter.

(Jae was wearing something like the last picture.)

"All of you are really looking good today. I'm starting to have my doubts about letting you all go to that dancing school. Especially you, Taetae. You'll be having your eyes all over the performers butts." Tiffany said as all of us laughed again.

"How long are you girls planning to spend at the mall? Maybe we can send you all there and fetch you later?" I suggested.

"Eiiiihhhh.... We're suppose to be spending our time together, just the 5 of us." Hyoyeon commented as Sooyoung and Yuri agreed to her statement.

"We'll still be doing that. We're just sending our girlfriends to the mall. Furthermore, I don't really trust their driving skills. Seohyun is too careful, Fany is reckless, I can't remember the last time Sunny drove and I've not seen Yoona's driving skills." I replied as the girls giggled among themselves. "And don't get me started on my Sicababy's driving skills." I smiled dorkily as Jessica rolled her eyes at me.

"We are planning to catch a movie at 4pm and then grab some dinner and shopping. We should be done by the time the mall closes at 10pm." Tiffany said. "How long will you be at the dancing school?"

"My hoobaes are putting up some performances there starting around 5pm to 7pm. Then maybe after that, we'll grab some dinner and chill out." Hyoyeon replied. 

"Since they're catching a movie at 4pm, let's get moving then. It's already coming to 3pm now." Yuri walked towards the door with Yoona following behind her.

The rest of us then followed them out with me right at the back as I waited for Jessica to stand up from the couch. The moment she stood up, I engulfed her into a hug and kissed her forehead. "I'm still waiting." I said as I smiled at her before grabbing her hands and walked together towards the door.

Jae's POV:

For the past one week, I've been trying to get Jessica to tell me about what was bothering her that night. But she kept saying that she's fine which obviously was not the truth. I didn't force her to tell me although I did told her that I knew something was bothering her. I told her that I'll wait for her to open up to me but her only response was to just nod her head. I guess she needed more time to express her inner feelings. Even though she didn't say it out, I've got a feeling that it's got something to do with Uee.
