I heard someone shouted my name as I sat up abruptly, causing my head to knock on another person's head. I felt the pain surged through the veins of my forehead as I started to rub it furious. I opened my eyes with the intention of scolding the other person but when I saw Jessica holding on to her forehead with teary eyes, I panicked.

"Omo.. Mianhae, Sica-yah. Gwenchana?"

It must have hurt her as I saw her tears dropped. I quickly used both my thumbs to wipe it off and hold her head by the sides. I slowly blew on her forehead and rubbed it softly with my right palm. I suddenly felt her face heated up and Jessica was trying to avoid my eye contact. I realised that she was actually blushing. I didn't know why but I leaned forward and kissed her on her forehead.

"Does this make it feel better?" I asked as Jessica slowly nodded my head.

Our moment were interrupted when I heard coughing sounds coming from the sides. I turned and saw the girls grining at us while Taeyeon and Yuri were pretending to blow at each other's forehead. The both of them looked at me and laughed out loud as I showed a fist to them.

"Is it lunch time already?" I asked when I saw them holding on to plates of spaghetti.

"Yes, ByunJae. Help yourself to the food. Yuri was the one who prepared it, even though I'm not sure if it's edible." Taeyeon received a flick on the forehead by Yuri as I showed a thumbs up.

"Sica, I'll get the food and you'll get the drinks, okay." I said as I walked up to the food as Sica went to get the drinks from Sunny.

All of us were talking and chatting but my mind was not there. I kept thinking about the orphanage that I didn't realised Taeyeon was talking to me until Jessica gave me a nudge on the shoulders.

"Mwo? Wae?" I asked with a blur face.

"What's wrong, Jae? You seem lost in thoughts" Jessica asked.

"Anni. It's nothing. Mianhae, Taeng. What were you saying?" I asked Taeyeon.

"Want to follow me to get ice cream for the girls?" Taeyeon asked, giving me the eye signal that I need to follow her no matter what.

"Sure. Why don't Soo and Yul follow us too?" I also gave them the eye signal to show them that they had to follow us.

As the 4 of us left the girls to walk towards the nearby convenience store, Taeyeon quickly gave me a headlock.

"What happened at the orphanage? You seem troubled."

I told them what happened and all of them became quiet as all of us were trying to think of a solution.

"Why don't we helped out to repaint the orphanage? There's 4 of us here, it should be enough." Taeyeon suddenly said.

"5 if you include Sunny but I don't think it'll be enough." Sooyoung replied as Yuri and Taeyeon were shocked to know that Sunny knew about the whole matter. I then told them what happened earlier and about my conversation with Sunny.

"And when do you all plan to tell me about it?"

All of us were shocked to hear Hyoyeon's voice behind us. Without us knowing, she had sneakily followed us with the intention of surprising us but ended up she's the one who was surprised.

"How much did you hear, Hyo?" I asked.

"Everything, all of it. I can't believe I'm the only 'guy' left out from all these." Hyoyeon glared at us as she folded her arms.

"Guy? Since when were you a guy?" Yuri asked, looking confused.

"Yah, pabo. What I meant is that since we are considered the 'man' of the relationship, I referred to us as the guys. Or you rather let Yoona be the 'man'?"

"Anni, anni.. I'm the man." Yuri said with a smirk.

"Hyo, I'm sorry for keeping it all a secret. To keep it simple, I didn't want to tell you about who I am because my family status doesn't reflect who I really am. So what if I am rich? This is who I am. What you see now is the real me. I didn't tell you about the money and the orphanage because I didn't think it was necessary. I'm really sorry from keeping all these from you."

"Aisshhh... It's okay, Jae. I understand your situation. But you guys need some help with the orphanage right? I can get some help for you. Free of charge." Hyoyeon said with a big grin on her face.

"Really? How?" I asked.

"I knew a group of people from the dancing school that I used to go to. They are always available to do voluntary work on weekends like this. I can check with them to see if they're available tomorrow. There's about 10 of them and with the 5 of us here, we should be able to get the job done faster."

As Hyoyeon contacted her friends, the rest of us stepped into the convenience store to get the ice-creams. We quickly went back to the girls to avoid any further suspicion. After finishing up the ice-cream, we decided to have a game of futsal. Since Sooyoung was the only keeper, Sunny volunteered to be the other keeper of the opposing team. Me and Taeng were appointed as the captains of the teams and we can only choose our players if we win the scissors-paper-stone.

The first round was to decide the keeper. Taeyeon won and she quickly chose Sooyoung so I had Sunny on my team. I lost again in the second round and this time Taeyeon chose Yuri. But I won the next two rounds making Hyoyeon and Yoona join my team. Yuri was nagging at Taeyeon for losing the last two rounds, as they were now at the disadvantage of having one man down.

After the first 15mins, Taeyeon's team was already trailing by 2-0, goals courtesy of Hyoyeon and Yoona. All of us were quite impressed with the way Sunny was playing. She seem to be very good at that position as she was able to block all of Taeyeon's and Yuri's goal-scoring attacks.

"Yah!! Jae.. Time-out, time-out." Taeyeon gave me a signal to have a break.

All of us gathered together as Tiffany, Jessica and Seohyun came up to us with bottles of water. We quenched our thirst and rest for a while.

"Jae, how could you bully my Taetae by playing with one extra player when you're such a good player yourself." Tiffany pretended to be angry while Taeyeon meronged at me.

"It's not my fault that she lost in the scissors-paper-stone game. Further more there's only 7 of us playing. Unless one of you would like to join Taeng's team." I smiled at Tiffany, Jessica and Seohyun.

"In that case, I'll join their team then." Jessica volunteered, causing Yuri, Soo and Taeng to laugh at me who was pouting.

As we continued the game, I couldn't play as well as before. It seems like Taeyeon had instructed Jessica to keep close to me so I was finding it difficult to move around. Jessica was practically trying her best to stop me as she kept blocking my view. When I had the ball with me, she would purpose stand in front of me with her hands stretched out and if I manage to sidestep her, she would cling on my arms and make it difficult for me to dribble forward. She would even pretend to fall down and divert my attention since she knew that I would run back to check if she was okay. I also decided to play along with Jessica so whenever she had the ball with her, I would purposely blocked, tickled or even lift her up to get her away from the ball. We ended up playing and joking around with each other, oblivious to the stares of the rest.

"Yah!! The two of you. If you want to be so touchy with each other, do it elsewhere." Taeyeon said as she, Sooyoung and Yuri high-fived each other and pretended to look unhappy with me and Jessica.

"Let's just stop the game. I'm hungry." Sooyoung said as she grinned while rubbing her flat tummy. 

Jessica was pouting and apologising to Taeyeon since she felt that she didn't do much to help the team. Taeyeon assured her that it was just a game for fun and all of them didn't take it too hard with the lost. Even so, Jessica continued to pout as we walked back to the mat. Tiffany took out the fruits that was prepared beforehand and passed it around for the girls to share. But when it came to Jessica, she shook her head and sat there with a pout. I took an extra strawberry and sat beside her.

"Do you want to eat the strawberry or do you want me to kiss your pout away?" I smiled cheekily at Jessica who instantly blushed as she quickly grabbed the strawberry and gave it a small bite.

"Yah, ByunJae. Stop thinking about kissing Sica. She's not even your girlfriend." Taeyeon teased me as she gave Tiffany a peck on the cheeks.

I glared at them and pretended to just ignore their remarks. It was almost 5pm when we all decided to head back. On the way to the dorm, Hyoyeon pulled me the side and whispered to me that her friends would be able to help us out tomorrow. She asked me to text her the address so that she can inform her friends to meet us at the orphanage itself. I thanked Hyoyeon for her help.

I had asked Uncle Kim and Uncle Kwon to wait for us two streets away from the university entrance. Hyoyeon was curious as to why the cars that were picking us up were parked so far away and I told her that I didn't want the students to know how rich I was.

"How could the students know how rich you are just by looking at...... your car?" Hyoyeon words got stuck midway when she saw my dad's car behind Uncle Kwon's car. "Is that a Bentley?"

"I guess you understand now by what I meant." I chuckled when I saw Hyoyeon's shocked face. "Anyway, it's my dad's car. Not mine." I patted Hyoyeon's back as I asked her to get in. The moment Hyoyeon was seated inside, she couldn't closed .

Taeyeon sat beside her dad while I sat behind with Hyoyeon. Yuri and Sooyoung took Uncle Kwon's car as we all drove off to the orphanage.

We reached the orphanage at around 9am. Hyoyeon's friends were already there. I gave Uncle Kim some money and asked him to get some breakfast for all of us. After he left, we decided to distribute the painting jobs to everyone. Hyoyeon's group of friends were split into two groups so 5 of them will take care of the boys' rooms on the left side while the other 5 will repaint the right side for the girls' room. The 5 of us along with Uncle Kwon and Uncle Kim will handle the main building. Before we started on the job, all of us went to change into proper attire for the painting job. By then, Uncle Kim had came back with the breakfast so everyone took their breakfast first and about 10am, we all started on the job.

All of us were very focused in trying our best to complete the job as soon as possible. At around noon, one for the caretakers at the orphanage informed us that they had actually prepared lunch for all of us and we could help ourselves with the food in the dining area. I thanked them a lot and asked Uncle Kim to gather everyone for lunch at around 1pm.

As we sat on the floor of the main building to enjoy the bibimbap that was prepared by the caretakers, I was curious about something. The five of us were seated together while Hyoyeon's friends were gathered at another corner. I asked Uncle Kwon and Uncle Kim to have their lunch on the table instead of sitting on the floor since they were the elderly.

"Girls, what did you all inform your girlfriends about coming here today? Won't they be looking for you all by now?"

"You have to thank my Sunny Bunny for that." Sooyoung said as she smiled proudly at me who was looking clueless. "She knew about us coming here today so in order to avoid any suspicion form the other girls, she organised a shopping outing today."

"Fany was so excited about it. She didn't even bother to ask if I was free today." Taeyeon shook her head as she pouted.

"Yoona was reluctant at first but when Sunny promised to bring her to eat at a nice restaurant, she agreed immediately." Yuri chuckled.

"I had to persuade my Hyunnie to join them. I told her that I'll be hanging out with you guys for a 'manly' bonding." Hyoyeon said, causing us to laugh at her remarks.

"The hardest part was to get Sica to agree." Sooyoung said. "I don't know what Sunny did but in the end, Sica agreed to join them. So right now, most probably they are also having their lunch first before shopping around since they only plan to meet up at noon. Sunny said that they will also be watching a movie later."

After an hour of lunch break, all of us continued with the repainting. It was around 5pm when we completed the main building. I asked the girls to get some rest first while I go and check with the other groups. Hyoyeon volunteered to follow me as we went to the boy's side first. They were already starting to paint the final room when we came over. I thanked them for their effort and asked them about what they would like to have for dinner. After taking their orders, we then proceeded to the girl's side. The group was a bit slower than the previous one as they had just completed the second last room. I took their dinner orders while Hyoyeon stayed with them to help out. I went back to the girls and informed them about the current situation. Taeyeon volunteered to follow me to get the dinners while Yuri and Sooyoung went to assist the other groups.

"Uncle Kwon, Uncle Kim. The job is almost done. Do you both want to go home first, eat dinner with your wives and get some rest?"

Both of them looked at each other and sheepishly nodded their heads. I asked Uncle Kwon if it's possible for him to send Uncle Kim back so that I can use the car to get the dinner for everyone and also to go back home later. Uncle Kwon said that it was not a problem and the two elderly men left soon.

As I drove out to get the dinner, Taeyeon was busy playing with her phone at the passenger seat. She was smiling and giggling to herself as I realised that she was having a text conversation with Tiffany.

"Yah!! Stop being an idiot. I knew you're messaging with Fany but you don't have to smile and giggle like a retard."

"Whatever.. You're just jealous because you don't have a girlfriend. Talking about that, when do you plan to confess to Sica? The marriage is already off, Jae."

"Confess? I'm not sure, Taeng. I've been so busy with the orphanage and also the house ownership, that I don't seem to have time for anything else. School will start soon and I can't imagine how I'm going to manage all these later."

"I think, once the renovation starts, Uncle Kwon will be able to handle most of it. You only need to go once in a while to check. Anyway, is everything okay with the process of the house ownership?" Taeyeon asked with a worried face.

Taeyeon had found out about her parent's decision with regards to the house, the night before we returned to the dorm. Initially, she objected the idea. She also apologised for troubling her parents with her insecurities. Taeyeon was shocked that her parents were even thinking of buying over the house just because of what she said. I told Taeyeon that my dad already offered to give the house to her parents before but they rejected it. I assured Taeyeon that I would try my best to come out with a solution that will be favourable for her parents. Ever since that day, I've been keeping in contact with my dad over the procedures for the handling of the house.

"We are just waiting for the approval from the necessary agency fot the house quotation. It might take sometime for the whole process to be completed but me and Appa has already decided to sell the house at a quarter of it's value which from Appa's calculation, will be affordable for your parents. They won't have to use much of their savings to take over the ownership of the house."

"Only a quarter of the value? Are you crazy? That's a lot of losses on your side. My parent's will never agree to that amount."

"Don't worry. We rather have your family take over the house than anyone else. About the losses, Appa said it's fine." I grinned dorkily at Taeyeon who just shook her head.

When we got back from buying dinner for everyone, we were happy to know that the job had already been completed. By 7pm, everyone was getting ready to go home after having their dinner. I informed the caretakers that the renovation will start tomorrow and if there's anything that they need, they could liase with Uncle Kwon. I wanted to give some money to Hyoyeon's friends for their help but they declined it saying that they are doing it voluntarily. They also said that since their meals were taken care of the whole day, it was more than enough on their part. I kept thanking them until they left the orphanage.

I drove the girls back to my house for them to take a shower and rest for a while. Hyoyeon had the same expression as Sooyoung when she came over to my house the first time. Now Sooyoung was even laughing at Hyoyeon's expression. I brought Sooyoung and Hyoyeon up to my room to shower and change while Yuri followed Taeyeon to her room to do the same thing.

After showering and changing, we gathered near the grand piano to chill for a while. We sat around the couch as I started to play randomly at the piano. After a while, Hyoyeon was becoming more restless.

"Hey, Jae. Is it okay if I tour around your house for a while?" Hyoyeon asked shyly.

"Why don't you ask the soon-to-be owner?" I cheekily grinned at Taeyeon.

"Mwo? New owner?" Yuri asked as she followed my gaze. "You mean, Taeng is the new owner? You're selling off the house?"

"I'm not the new owner. It's my parents who are buying the house. Anyway, nothing is confirmed yet so Jae is still the owner."

"If Jae is no longer the owner, does that mean she will need to move out soon?" Sooyoung asked.

"Firstly, I'm not the owner. It's my Appa. Secondly, I guess I need to move out soon if Taeng wants me out." I pretended to look upset and pouted.

"Yah!! What nonsense you talking about, Jae? This will always be your house no matter what." Taeyeon threw a pillow at me as I laughed out loud.

"So can I still tour the house?" Hyoyeon asked with a poker face as the rest of us broke out into laughter.

After bringing Hyoyeon around the house, we left the house at around 10pm and took the bus back to the dorm. We reached the dorm 45mins later and coincidentally met Tiffany, Sunny and Jessica. They had just return from watching the movies with Yoona and Seohyun too but the two girls had returned home straight from the movie theatre. We greeted each other as we gathered for a while at the dorm lobby.

"Fany-ah, how was your day today? Did you enjoy yourself with the girls?" Taeyeon asked as she grinned dorkily at Tiffany.

"Taetae. I missed you so much. I bought us a cute couple handphone case. Let's use it now." Tiffany took out a pair of couple handphone casing and gave the blue one to Taeyeon while she used the pink one.

"Bunny, what about me? Do I get anything?" Sooyoung asked as she looked around Sunny's bags of shoppings.

"Here." Sunny gave Sooyoung a box of donuts as she smiled so wide that I was sure I can see her full set of teeth. "Hyo, Yul. Yoona and Seohyun asked me to pass this to both of you."

Sunny gave a mickey mouse plushie to Yuri and a cd to Hyoyeon. Yuri was so happy to receive the plushie as she grinned and hugged it tightly while Hyoyeon was jumping up and down since it was the latest dance cd that she had been looking forward to purchase. Both Yuri and Hyoyeon then decided to go up to the dorm to give their girlfriends a call. Sooyoung was busy eating the donut with Sunny beside her while Taeyeon and Tiffany were just being lovey dovey with each other on another couch.

"Sica, you didn't buy anything for me?" I looked at her with my puppy eyes and pouted.

Before she could reply, I heard Sooyoung's voice. "Why does she have to buy something for you? The girls bought us things because we are their girlfriends but the two of you..." She didn't complete her sentence when I cut her off.

"Aissshhh... I was just kidding around okay. Go and be lovey dovey with each other. I'm going up now." I rolled my eyes at SooSun and TaeNy who were laughing at me. "Sica, want to go up and leave those lovebirds here?" Jessica smiled at me and nodded her head.

Both of us talked a lot while we walked up to her dorm. We teased and joked around with each other until we were standing in front of her dorm door.

"So here we are. Will you be fine alone inside?" I asked as I smiled at her.

"Tiff and Sunny will be coming up soon, so it should be fine. Unless you want to come in and wait for them inside."

I looked at the watch and it was almost midnight. "It's okay. You should get some rest. Anyway, even though it's only for a short while, I really enjoyed the past 10mins with you. I.. I... I miss you." I chuckled sheepishly as I rubbed the back of my neck.

"I.. I miss you too. I mean talking to you, joking around and teasing each other. You've been so busy lately which I don't know about what. I rarely get any text messages from you nowadays. Even Donghae messaged me more than you." Jessica suddenly covered . She didn't mean to actually said it out loud.

I just chuckled at her remarks as I felt a slight pain in my heart. "I'm sorry for all that. Please don't be angry at me, okay." I tried to smile nervously which Jessica immediately shook her head. Both of us then said goodbye as I walked up to my dorm.

Jessica's POV:

It was the best part of the day for me. Not the shopping. Not the movie but the 10mins that I spent with Jae as we walked up to the dorm. How I wish that I could stop the time and just let us stay in that moment. When Jae admitted that she misses me, I almost wanted to give her a hug but why did I have to continue to blabber on about her being busy. I even told her about Donghae messaging me more than her. I noticed a slight chance in her expression when I mentioned Donghae's name. Did I hurt her feelings? Aishhh.. why did I have to spoil the moment by doing that. Pabo ar, Sica-yah. Why are you a pabo? I hope Jae doesn't take it to heart or even think that there's something going on between me and Donghae.

Jae's POV:

After a long day at the orphanage, all I wanted was just to get some rest tonight. But spending the last 10mins of the night with Jessica was truly worth it. There's no one like her who could make me forget all the trouble that I had in a day just by looking at her smile. Talking to her, teasing and joking around. I really miss doing all those with her. If only time could stop at that moment, I would have cherish it for the rest of my life. I felt so happy when she said she misses me too. Even when she started complaining about me being all busy and not getting any text messages from me, I find it cute. I felt really guilty at the same time for doing so but when she started to mention Donghae's name, I suddenly felt pain in my heart. It feels like my energy was drained out from my body. I'm sure she didn't mean to say it in that way, judging from the way she was surprised herself for saying all that but it sounded like she was comparing me with Donghae. I knew that it was my mistake for not messaging her often like how I used to but then why is this Donghae messaging her often. Is there something going on between the 2 of them? They just got to know each other for less than a month but Donghae is already messaging her frequently. Were they actually close to each other before Sica got together with Taecyeon? Suddenly, I was reminded of the Han river encounter where Sica had went off to ride on Donghae's bicycle along the Han river. Does Sica like Donghae in any way? Why did this Donghae guy suddenly appear in Sica's life? I need to find out more about him but my hands are already full at the moment. I will need to ask the girls for help to find out more about this Lee Donghae.
