I was trying to shift my sleeping position but was not able to do so. As I yawned and open my eyes slowly, I understood why I couldn't do so. Jessica was hugging me like a koala with her head resting on my right arm. As I traced down her arms, I saw that her hand had went inside my t-shirt and I felt her fingers on my tummy. It made me smile but also wondered if she did it on purpose. I gave her a kiss on the top of her head as I noticed her stirring in her sleep. I quickly closed my eyes shut. I heard a soft gasp and her hands moved away from my tummy as I quickly grabbed her wrist.

"Leave it there. It warms my tummy." I said as I slowly open my eyes and looked at Jessica who had a shocked expression.

"You're awake? Since when?" I noticed a tint of blush on her cheeks.

"Just a few minutes before you woke up. Anyway, good morning Sicababy. Did you sleep well?" She nodded my head and was just about to shift her body away when I stopped her. "Let's just stay this way for a while. I kind of like the feeling of your warmth near me."

I saw Jessica's face turning so red that she quickly hide it by burying her face into my shoulder. I just chuckled as I wrapped my left arm across Jessica's waist. I looked over at the clock on the wall and saw that it was already 10am. I closed my eyes and was about to continue my sleep when my bedroom door flung open as Taeyeon and Sooyoung barged in. I quickly sat up as Jessica hide behind my back.

"Omo omo omo.. What are you both doing?" Sooyoung said as she gave me a cheeky grin.

"Did you see that?" Taeyeon suddenly pointed at something. "Sica's hands are inside Jae's t-shirt."

Jessica quickly removed her hands as she used it to cover her face instead. She was still leaning on my back as I stared at the two dorky girls in front of me while I saw Tiffany and Sunny standing near the door.

"Yah!! Get out. You've just disturb my romantic moment with Sica." I threw a pillow at them as they ran off from my room after shouting to me to get down for breakfast in an hour. "Aisshh.. Those two pabo. Sicababy, are you okay? Mianhae. They must have given you a shock." I turned around to face Jessica who was just smiling at me sheepishly.

"Let's get ready for breakfast, Jaegi. You go and shower first, okay."

I gave Jessica a salute and a wink before jumping off from my bed. As I pushed open the white wall, I walked in to my closet and turned right to enter my bathroom. 30mins later, I went out in my bathrobe while drying my hair with a towel. I saw Jessica staring at her phone with her back leaning at the headrest. After calling her to shower and showing her around the bathroom for a while, I went to my closet to grab my clothes.

It was my turn to rest against the headrest as I played with my phone. I heard the door of the bathroom clicked open and I slowly lifted up my head. The scene that was in front of me right now took my breathe away. Jessica had walked out from the bathroom with just a towel covering her body and she had her hair brushed to one side, exposing her milky skin shoulders.

"Jaegi, do you have any clothes to lend me? I didn't bring any spare clothes." Seeing no reaction from me, Jessica smirked as she walked nearer to the bed. "Like what you see, Jaegi?"

I subconsciously nodded my head before shaking it vigorously. I saw Jessica giggling as I rubbed the back of my neck. "You can just use any of my clothes, Sicababy. But it's mostly t-shirt and jeans."

"That's okay. I'm fine with that." Jessica walked back in to my closet and 10mins later, she came out wearing an oversized white plain t-shirt and a pair of light grey jeans that was folded up at the ankle.

"Kyeopta." I said  as I stood up and hold out my hands which Jessica grabbed it as we walked out to meet the girls downstairs.

TaeNy, SooSun and HyoHyun were all gathered at the dining table when me and Jessica reached the kitchen. I asked them about YoonYul and they replied that Uncle Kim had send them back home to Yuri's place half an hour ago. I asked HyoHyun if they had a comfortable rest last night.

"Sleeping in that movie room was much better than sleeping in the dorm." Hyoyeon said with a poker face, bringing laughter to the table.

"It's not because Seohyun was with you is it?" Taeyeon teased Hyoyeon as she gave Sooyoung a high-five.

"Not everyone is as erted as you both." I replied as Aunt Kim came in with a plate full of pancakes.

"Says the one who woke up with her girlfriend's hands under her t-shirt." Sooyoung replied as i just mreonged at her before taking a few pancakes for myself and Jessica.

Everyone was gathered at the cafetaria after finishing their last exam paper. After that wonderful weekend spend at Taeyeon's house, everyone got back to being busy to prepare for the upcoming final exam that had just ended today. As we waited for Hyoyeon and Yuri to bring over our food, we chatted about our projects and future plans for the holidays.

"Jae, we've submitted our project yesterday and our lecturer was quite shocked that we manage to interview such a prominent figure and it's all thanks to you." Tiffany said as Taeyeon showed a thumbs up to me.

"It was nothing. I was just trying to help." I replied as I stood up to help Hyoyeon and Yuri with the food and drinks when they came over, carrying a tray each.

I saw Jessica smilling at me and when I sat back, she gave me a kiss on my cheeks while saying thanks for my help in their projects.

"Jae, when will you be submitting your dual degree application?" Sunny asked.

"In two weeks time, I guess. When I'm done with my project. Tomorrow is already the 1st of November." I replied.

"I was thinking of getting a dual degree too, along with Seohyun. Maybe we can apply together." Sunny said as Seohyun nodded her head in agreement.

"My Bunny is very clever in her studies. She's thinking of getting the same course as you, Jae. Business managament." Sooyoung said as I noticed that her plate was almost empty.

"My Hyunnie is clever too. She's planning to take up political science." Hyoyeon said proudly of her girlfriend.

"And sometimes I wonder how did the two of you end up together." Yuri said teasingly as Hyoyeon is quite well-known for being the lazy one when it comes to studying,

As we continued talking, suddenly the topic about Christmas was brought up. I told the girls that I might need help preparing Christmas gifts for all the children at the orphanage and they gladly volunteered to help. I also told them that once I've settled my things, I will need to buy some stuff for the music room there. We then planned to have another outing to the mall.

"But Jaegi, will you be celebrating Christmas here with us or you'll be going back to the States?" Jessica turned to look at me with a concern face.

I blinked my eyes a few times at her as I wasn't expecting that question. Come to think of it, I hadn't actually thought about it before. I entwined my fingers with Jessica and told her the truth. "I'm not sure, Sicababy. I've not actually thought about it. But I'll discuss with my Appa soon and update you okay." 

Seeing Jessica looking down and nodding her head slowly, saddens me as I put my arms over her shoulders and rubbed it. The rest of us then continued talking but I can sense that Jessica was not as talkative as before.

Me, Sunny and Seohyun were making our way to the bus stop after handing in our dual degree application. We'll be meeting the rest of the girls at the mall since I need to get the music instruments for the orphanage. Uncle Kwon updated me that the orphanage should be ready in a months time, about 2 weeks before Christmas. The computers for the study room and the books for the mini library will be coming in next week.

We took a cab there since the others had left for the mall an hour ago. Jessica had messaged me earlier that they were all waiting for us at the ice-cream shop. We ordered our ice-creams and joined them at the table.

The moment we sat down, everyone wanted to ask if we managed to pass the application. I told them that the results of the application will only be out next week. As we relax and talked about other things, Taeyeon asked me what kind of musical instruments was I planning to buy for the music room. I told them that I planned to get a drum, a keyboard and maybe 2 or 3 guitars, along with all the accessories such as the speakers and other things.

We left for the music shop after everyone was done with their ice-creams. We spent almost 2hrs in the shop as there were so many choices to choose from. With the help from Sooyoung, Taeyeon and Yuri, I managed to purchase all the things that I needed. I spent around 4million won for everything as I gave the cashier my credit card and gave him the address of the orphanage for the delivery. I saw everyone looking at me except for Taeyeon and Yuri when I signed on the receipt.

"Wae?" I asked curiously.

"Did you just sign a bill of 4million won with your credit card?" Sunny asked with wide eyes.

I nodded my head as everyone gave the same shocked look. Yuri and Taeyeon chuckled as they just dragged me, who was still clueless, out of the shop while the rest just followed. Taeyeon told me that the reason they might be shocked was because that amount wasn't something that anyone could easily pay for just like that. I finally understood and just smiled sheepishly at the rest of the girls.

We were getting hungry so we stopped by at an American restaurant to have an early dinner since it was only 5pm. While waiting for the food to arrive, the girls decided to play a game where everyone will take turn to choose heads or tails on the coin that they flipped themselves. If they guessed correctly, they will be allowed to ask 3 questions to anyone in the group. If they failed to guess correctly, they lose the chance to ask.

So far HyoHyun, YoonYul and Sooyoung had failed. It was now Sunny's turn and she managed to guess it correctly. Everyone looked at her as they waited for her to choose the person that she wanted to ask the questions to.

"My first question is for Choi Sooyoung." Sunny grinned at her girlfriend but before she could open up to ask, Taeyeon intercepted her.

"No intimate questions between couples or lame ones like 'what do you love about me?'. We want to hear interesting questions and also full-length answers." Taeyeon said as all of us agreed.

"I wasn't planning to ask that anyway. My question is, was there any guy that you had a crush on before?" Sunny asked Sooyoung.

"There was." Sooyoung replied, shocking everyone since she answered it quickly. "I had a crush on Eunhyuk when I first join the futsal team early last year. At first, I thought that I really like him but it lasted for one and a half month only. I realised that I actually didn't like him in that way instead I only admired his goalkeeping skills since he was the goalkeeper for the mens team. It was only when I got to know my Bunny better that I realised I was into girls. Actually, I'm only gay for her since I don't feel the same attractions for other girls."

Sunny smiled at Sooyoung after hearing her answer. "Okay, my next question is for Kwon Yuri. How did you end up being friends with Taeng and Jae?"

"Before I was friends with Taeng and Jae, I was really a pampered kid. Anything that I wanted, I could just ask from my parents. When I got into the same middle school as Taeng and Jae, a lot of students wanted to be friends with me except for those two." Yuri pointed to me and Taeyeon as both of us just grinned at her. "At first, I didn't really bothered about them but I started to get bored of the people around me. They were always trying to up to me and I find it suffocating to have them always lingering around me. One day, I saw Taeng being bullied by a group of students. I just watched without helping her. I wanted to help but there was 5 of them. It was then I saw Jae running to Taeyeon's help. I saw how she stood up for Taeng, how both of them were beaten up, how they laughed at each other's swollen face after the bullies left them. It makes me yearn for such friendship. I walked up to them and asked if they were okay and that was the beginning of our friendship."

"I still remember that day. I actually saw Yul from the corner of my eyes when the 5 bullies confronted me. I wanted to ask her for help but at that point of time, I suddenly couldn't remember her name. One of the bully was grabbing my collar when Jae arrived. I thought that I'll be save but ended up both of us received a punch each which was why we ended up laughing at each other. When Yul came up to us, the first thing I said was 'Hey, tanned kid. What's your name again?'. Yul quickly introduced herself before asking us if we were okay. She followed us back, taking the bus and was shocked when she arrived at Jae's house." Taeyeon continued the story.

"Taeng, remember what Yul asked when we walked into the house?" Taeyeon nodded her head before bursting into laughter. "She asked, are we going to the principal's house to report about the bullies?" The rest of the girls laughed out loud while Yuri just covered her face before saying that her pampered behaviour change when she saw how humble Jae was even when Jae's so much richer than her. 

"Okay. My last question will be for Seo Juhyun."Everyone stopped laughing and turned their attention to Seohyun. "Do you admit that you're stubborn and rigid?"

"Nae, I admit to being stubborn but not rigid." Seohyun replied with a firm tone as all of us applauded her honest reply. "I know that I'm a stubborn person but it doesn't mean that I always want things to go the way I want it to be. I'll still accept any form of negotitions and other suggestions. With a playful girlfriend like Yeonnie, I can never be rigid if you all know what I mean."

All of us nodded her head and we continued the game. Me, Jessica and Taeyeon lost our chances when we failed to guess correctly. Tiffany was the last person to play and she guessed it right as all of us got ready to be questioned.

"My first question will be for Kim Taeyeon." Tiffany pointed to Taeyeon who were seated beside her. "My question is, have you ever wish that you could swap your life with Jae's since both of you grew up together from 5yrs old?"

Taeyeon frowned as she seemed to be in deep thoughts. "No. Never. Because Jae shares almost everything with me. People always think that since our wealth status are worlds apart, my life will be totally different from Jae's. But actually it was almost the same for both of us. Whatever that Jae has or gets, she will always share it with me. Frankly speaking, I've never looked at Jae as someone who is rich because she never potrays it in her character. My inferiority complex was not because I compared my life with Jae but it's more to me feeling that I'm not good enough to be her friend."

Everyone listened attentively to Taeyeon's honest explanation and they smiled when I gave Taeyeon a high-five. Yuri then added by saying that  my parents never pampered me with wealth and I even have to save up my own money to get whatever things that I wanted.

"My 2nd question will be for Jessica Jung. Having such a perfect girlfriend like Jae, won't it be stressful for you?"

"I'm not perfect, Fany-ah." I said as she just meronged at me.

Everyone looked at Jessica as they anticipated her answer. Jessica blinked her eyes rapidly as she turned to look at me. I gave her my best smile, took her hand and wrote the letters 'LOVE' on her palm. I saw Jessica smiling shyly as she turned to face Tiffany.

"Of course I feel stressful but someone told me before, as long as we love each other, that's all that matters. I believe with love, we will always try our best for each other. So if Jae is perfect in everyone's eyes then I'll work hard to be perfect in Jae's eyes." Jessica shyly covered her face after she ended her speech.

Hearing her heartfelt confession, I couldn't stop smiling as I leaned forward and whispered in her ears. "I love you, Sicababy."

Jessica looked up from her hands and smiled sweetly at me as she pulled my ears softly and whispered. "I love you too, Jaegi."

"Okay, enough of the cheesiness. I still got one more question to ask." Before Tiffany could continue, the waiter arrived with all our orders. We decided to start eating first before continuing with the game. "My last question will be for Jae."

I looked up from my plate to Tiffany's direction as I continued to chew on my steak. "If you were given a wish to change something in the past, what will that be?"

I stared at the steak in front of me and thought hard before leaning back to the chair. "I wish that my Omma was still alive." I looked down as I continued to twirl the fork in my right hand. I saw Jessica placing her hand on my lap as I turned to face her. I can feel my eyes starting to be teary as I looked up to prevent it from falling. "Mianhae. I didn't mean to make the atmospehere so down right now."

"It's okay, Jae. We understand your position." I heard Taeyeon said. "Jae was really close with her mum. She was the nicest lady that I've ever met. She was the one who helped to persuade my parents to accept my uality. She was also the one who ensured that both my parents are taken well care of even when my parents are her employees. She always makes me feel welcome in her family. If I myself is still missing her and thinking of her at times, imagine what Jae is going through."

I breathe in deep and calm myself down before facing the other girls. I fisted my right hand and put it nearer to my mouth as my elbows rested on the table. "I... I just feel that my mum...  left us too early." I paused as I started to pinch my own lips. "There's still.. a lot of things that I wanted to make her proud of... a lot of things that I wanted to share with her... a lot of things that I wanted to show her..." My voice cracked as I just stared at the table. I felt Jessica shifting her body nearer to me. She wrapped her arms around my waist and leaned her head to my shoulder. "Mianhae. I didn't mean to talk about such a sad story. I'll stop for now." I looked up and gave them a weak smile. 

Everyone nodded their heads and tried to lift up the mood by talking about other things. I tried to participate in their conversation but the thought of Omma was just too overwhelming as I felt myself being pulled into the sadness again. Jessica must have felt me tensing up as she tighten her gripped around my waist.

"Jaegi? Gwenchana?"

I turned to look at her but the moment I saw her worried and sad eyes, I could only gave her a nod. I turned to face the rest of the girls and excused myself to go to the toilet. "I'll be back soon okay." I said to Jessica as I slowly removed her arms around my waist. I stood up and made my way to the toilet quickly as I  could feel my eyes heating up. 

Luckily for me, no one was inside  the toilet. As I stood in front of the mirror and placed my hands on the sides of the wash basin, I looked down and the tears automatically flowed down. Since the toilet was empty, my sobbings seemed to be amplified eventhough it was actually quite soft. Suddenly, someone hugged me from the back and I felt a head leaning against my right arm. I looked up at the mirror and saw Jessica looking back at me. The feeling of Jessica's warm hug made me feel vulnerable and the tears that initially had stopped, flowed out again.

"Sica... Mianhae." At that point, all I could do was just to apologise. "Mianhae."

"Pabo-yah, why are you apologising? Jaegi, you don't have to apologise." Jessica turned me around as I just stared at the floor.

"I... I just... I just missed Omma so much. I... I..." I couldn't finish my sentence when Jessica gave me a tight hug.

"It's okay Jaegi. Even from above, she will still be proud of you. Even from above she can still see you. Even if she's no longer around, her love will always be part of who you are and will always remain here." Jessica pointed to my heart as she tiptoed to kiss me on my forehead. "I'll be here for you, Jaegi. I've promised your mum to take care of you when we visited her at the crematorium that day and I intent to keep my promise."

"My Omma would have loved you like how I did." I said as I returned her hug and we stayed like that for a while until my tears dried up and my sobbings stopped.

Jessica's POV:

After Jae left the table to go to the toilet, I was feeling lost. For once, I didn't know what to do. Should I go after her? Or does she want to be alone? Everyone was looking at me and giving me a warm smile. I saw Taeng giving me an eye signal towards the toilet and that's when I decided to look for Jae. Opening the toilet door, I could hear soft sobbings from inside. I walked in further and that's when I saw Jae standing in front of the wash basin. She had her head down as her hands were gripping the sides of the basin. I saw drops of tears falling into the basin as I felt pain in my heart. It was the first time that I saw Jae like this. She has always shown a tough and cool side of her. She had always been the one to be there for me in times of need and the one to put a smile on my face. Seeing her this broken, really hurts me. I'm not good with words so all I can do is just to give her a hug and hope that her pain will go away.

"Sica, let me wash my face first then we'll go back to the girls." I turned my back and started to wash my face with the tap water. Even though my face looked freshened up now, it couldn't hide the fact that I've cried as my eyes were puffy. I sighed as Jessica stared at me.

"Sicababy, mianhae. For making you worried and also sad with my story. You must be shocked to see me crying earlier right?"

"Is that why you keep apologising, Jaegi?" I nodded my head as Jessica sofly knocked my head. "Pabo-yah, even at times like this you're still concern about me. You don't have to always act tough in front of me, Jaegi. If you have to cry, I'll lend you my shoulders. If you need someone to talk to, I'll lend you my ears. If you need a hug, just come to me."

"If I need a kiss?" I grinned cheekily as I pointed to my lips.

"Seems like someone is feeling much better already." Jessica rolled her eyes at me.

I gave Jessica a hug and kissed her forehead. "Gomawo."

We left the toilet and joined the rest of the girls. Since I was in the toilet for almost 30mins, all the girls had already finished their food and were now eating their desserts. I apologised to them and they just brushed me off by saying that they understood. They quickly talked about what to do later on so as to keep the atmosphere cheerful. Me and Jessica finished up our food but we decided not to eat any dessert since we were already quite full.

The girls decided to spend time at the arcade as we tried out different kind of machines. First we went to the shooting machine. Our girlfriends got more excited than us, who were playing, as they kept shouting at us to shoot the zombies. I was hit by Jessica a few times on the arm when she kept pointing at the zombies. Next, we went to the racing machine. This time round, we let our girlfriends compete with each other on the bike. Taeyeon was practically drooling when she stared at Tiffany's protruding and Sooyoung couldn't stop staring at Sunny's chest when her girlfriend bend closer to the bike. After that 'intense' racing, we went to the dance machine. Hyoyeon was so excited that she kept jumping on the dance mat. Yoona voluntered to go against Hyoyeon as they started the game. This time round, it was Yuri's turn to be mesmerised by Yoona's dancing skills but in the end, Hyoyeon won the battle. It was almost 9pm when we decided to stop by at a cafe since Sooyoung said that she was hungry again. HyoHyun and YoonYul had to leave first since they wanted to send their girlfriends home.
