Me and Jessica spend the rest of the week with Appa as he brought us out to the beach and also on his private yacht. We went surfing while at the beach. Well, only me and Appa were surfing while Jessica just stayed under an umbrella shade. I caught Jessica oogling at me while I was walking back to her place, carrying a surfboard. Appa had went off to get some drinks for us as I sat down beside Jessica. At that time, I was wearing a black sports bra with white shorts while Jessica was wearing my t-shirt over her white bikini.

"Nice view from here." I said as Jessica just nodded her head. "I bet it was much better earlier when I was walking back towards you since I saw your eyes practically fixed on me." I smiled dorkily as Jessica realised that I was teasing her.

"Yah!!! Stop making fun of me. Who ask you to have such nice-looking abs."  Jessica replied as she slapped me softly on my thighs.

I was about to say something to Jessica when I was interrupted by a group of 3 girls.

"Hi there, just want to say that you were really great out there. Your surfing skills was awesome." One of the blonde girls smiled at me as I just said my thanks.

"Are you from around here?" Another girl asked flirtatiously but before I could answered her back, I was intercepted.

"We're on our honeymoon. Right, baby?" Jessica said with fluent english as she wrapped her hands around my waist and shot the 3 girls a deadly stare.

I almost burst out laughing when I saw the girls fidgeted a bit and looked uneasy. "Thanks for the compliments but please excuse us. My wife doesn't really appreciate disturbance." I said as the girls quickly walked away.

"Ooouucchhh!!!" I felt a stinging pain on my thigh as I saw Jessica's fingers moving away from it, leaving my thigh with a red mark. "What was that for?" I asked as I rubbed my thigh quickly in the hope of countering the pain.

"Why are you flirting with them right in front of me?" Jessica crossed her arms and glared at me.

"Mwo? Flirting? All I did was just smile and said thanks. That's all." I was shocked with Jessica's accusation and at the same time confused.

"You looked like you enjoyed the attention though. Talking to them happily." Jessica replied as she turned her body away from me.

Even though I knew that I wsn't doing anything wrong, I decided to pacify her. Hugging her from the back, I told her that I was just happy having her with me which explained my happy mood. I also told her that I was just being polite with the girls earlier and didn't want to create unnecessary dispute. It seemed that Jessica calmed down a bit, just about the same time as Appa who returned with the drinks and some snacks.

The rest of the days went smoothly without any glitches as we decided to follow Appa to Japan to take a look at his new hotel project. We met up with Boa unnie and stayed at her apartment during our stay there. Jessica seemed lively as she brought me to places that she had visited when she came with her parents a few weeks ago. We went out shopping by ourselves almost everyday until Appa told us to have dinner with him on the last night before we flew back to Korea. We went to eat at the restaurant in the new hotel. Even though the hotel was still not opened to the public due to some on-going minor renovation, the restaurant was already in operation but only to the hotel staffs.

"How do you find it here, Jae?" Appa asked as we waited for the food to arrive.

"It's good. I love the interior design. Very family oriented and the colors gave off a warm feeling." I said as I looked around.

"Appa Park, how come the restaurant is already in operation but the hotel is not? Who will be eating in here then?" Jessica asked as she saw that there were only us inside the restaurant.

"For my staffs. New and old. They will be going through job orientation here so breakfast, lunch and dinner will be supplied by the company." Appa replied as I heard someone calling my name.

"Omo.. is that you, Hyun Jae?" I turned around to see a lady in a chef attire, walking towards our table.

"Ji won unnie." I said as I smiled at her and stood up before being engulfed into a hug. "How come you're here?"

"She's here to train the new staffs. I had her transferred from the LA branch." Appa replied as Jiwon unnie released her hug.

"Aigoo.. it's been some time since I last saw you, Jae. Has it been 2yrs? 3yrs?"Jiwon unnie asked as I showed her 3 of my fingers. "Aigoo.. no wonder you're getting more prettier. Or should I say good-looking?" I had my cheeks patted softly by her. "Are you still into girls?"

I nodded my head dorkily as I pointed to Jessica. "Let me introduce my beautiful angel to you. This is Jessica Jung." For a split second, I was sure I saw Jessica giving me a deadly stare before she smiled sweetly at Jiwon unnie.

"Aigoo... Yeoppo... Jae really has good taste in girls. My name is Ha Jiwon. I used to be a chef in their LA hotel branch but was transferred here to train the newbies. You can call me Jiwon unnie, just like Jae." She held out her hands as both of them shook hands.

Appa asked Jiwon unnie to take a seat with us but she declined, saying that she had things to do in the kitchen. Before she left, she gave both me and Jessica a hug. As we continued eating, I noticed that Jessica seemed quiet and was just playing around with her food. Appa phone rang as he excused himself to answer it and I took the opportunity to question Jessica.

"What's wrong, Sicababy?"

"How old is she? Married?" I looked at Jessica with a confused look. "Jiwon unnie."

"Aahhhh... Jiwon unnie is 4yrs older than me. I'm not sure if she's married though. The last time I saw her, I think she's got a boyfriend back then. Wae?" I asked as I saw Jessica sighing. "Don't tell me you're jealous of her? I caught you glaring at me earlier."

Jessica kept quiet and just when I was about to talk to her again, Appa came back and we continued eating. The ride back home was awkward between me and Jessica. She told me to sit at the passenger seat in front while she sat with Appa at the back with the excuse of saying that she won't see him again after tomorrow since we're flying off. I knew that she's upset about earlier but I myself was a bit frustrated with her.

Jessica's POV:

I purposely asked Jae to sit in front in the car and didn't really talk to her much throughout the ride home after dinner. I admit that I was a bit jealous when I saw Jiwon unnie hugging her. I mean who wouldn't. Jiwon unnie was a pretty lady with a great figure. Even though Jae said that she was 5yrs older, she doesn't look her age. Instead she looked younger. Why is my Jaegi always surrounded by beautiful ladies? Boa unnie, Jiwon unnie, Ailee and even those girls at the beach. I know it's not Jae's fault but I can't help having these feelings of insecurities. After seeing what happened to YoonYul and HyoHyun, I'm starting to have a bit of fear in myself. What if someone better comes into Jaegi's life? Or someone from her past that has been keeping their feelings for Jae all this while?

The moment the car stopped in front of Boa unnie's apartment, all 3 of us exited. Just when I was about to walk towards the elevator, I heard Appa Park calling my name.

"Sooyeon-ah, will it be okay with you if you go up first? I need to talk to Hyun Jae for a while."

I turned to look at Jae who seemed shocked as she kept blinking her eyes and looking at me and her Appa. I nodded my head and told Appa Park to just go ahead. I saw him putting his arms on Jae's shoulders before dragging his daughter to the poolside area. I went into the elevator and throughout the journey up, I couldn't stop thinking about what their conversation was going to be about.

Jae's POV:

I saw Sica walking ahead of me after she exited from the car. I was about to quicken my pace to reach her when I heard Appa's voice. He asked her if she could go up first as he wanted to talk to me. I wasn't expecting it at all as I saw Sica looking at me while I turned to look at Appa before turning back to look at Sica. Asking us to go ahead, Appa wrapped his arms on my shoulders and drag me to the poolside area.

Me and Appa took a seat on the reclinig chairs and just when I was about to lean back, Appa shot me a question.

"Jae, is everything okay between you and Sooyeon?"

I sat up straight as I looked at Appa who had a stern look. I sighed and shrugged my shoulders. "Not that I know of. I mean I don't even know why she's giving me the cold shoulders."

"Did something happen when I went off to answer my call during dinner just now? Both of you looked awkward to each other after I came back."

I told Appa everything. I even told Appa about what happened at the beach a few days back. "I know she's jealous but how can she accuse me of flirting. She even glared at me when Jiwon unnie was around. For god sake, Jiwon unnie is like an elder sister to me."

"It's funny that you can call her Jiwon unnie when you call Boa by ber name. You do realise that both of them are schoolmates and that Jiwon unnie is Boa's senior in school, right?"

"Appa, it's Boa who doesn't want me to call her unnie. Anyway, we are running away from the topic here." I said as I sighed and leaned back, staring up at the sky.

"If I was Sooyeon, I would be jealous and insecure too. You are surrounded by beautiful ladies most of the time. Just like me." Appa smirked at me before grinning dorkily.

"But it's beyond my control. At least I'm not like Yuri who would stop to have small talks with most of the girls who approached her. Knowing how jealous Sica is, I don't usually entertain strangers. I've known Jiwon unnie since she started working at your hotel 5yrs ago and that is also through Boa's introduction. How can she be jealous of someone who is like family to me?" I expressed my frustration to Appa as I took a deep breathe.

"Relax, Jae. You sound frustrated. Can I ask you something?" I nodded my head to Appa. "Do you think Sooyeon know a lot about your past? The people in your life? I don't think she knew. So in this case, you can't blame her. To her, Jiwon unnie is just another beautiful lady who had hugged you in front of her eyes. Which I think she has every right to be jealous of."

I sat up to say something but I paused and leaned back as I realised that what Appa said was true.

"You agree with me right, Jae?" I nodded my head slowly. "By the way, does Yuri still entertain those girls who will randomly approach her once a while?"

"Anni... She stopped doing so after Yoona almost broke up with her." Seeing Appa with the shocked expression, I started telling him about what happened to YoonYul a few months back. I even told him about what happened to HyoHyun. "Appa, do you think Sica is having all these insecurities after watching our friends going through all that?"

"Maybe. A piece of advise from me. Try to counter her insecurities early. Because in the future, you'll be meeting more beautiful ladies and even good looking men when you're taking over some of my business. So if you can't make Sooyeon feel safe and secure right now, you'll have a bigger problem in the future." Appa patted me on my head as he suggested us to go back to the apartment since we've spend almost an hour by the poolside.

I saw Boa unnie watching the TV when me and Appa arrived at the apartment. Asking her about Jessica's whereabouts, she just pointed to our room while her eyes were still fixed on the screen. Appa went to take a seat beside her while I walked to the room. Knocking on the door softly, I twisted the doorknob and peeped inside.

"Sicababy?" I called out softly as I saw her already asleep on the bed.

Closing the door as quietly as I could, I tiptoed to the side of the bed to take a better look at her. After I was sure that she was really sleeping, I covered her with the blanket and walked to the bathroom to wash up quickly before climbing on the bed to lie down beside Jessica.

"I'm sorry if I made you upset in any way. I don't know what I should say to prove to you my love and that you're the only one for me. I hope you will trust and have faith in me. I love you." After whispering softly to her, I kissed her on the forehead and just continued staring at her angelic face.

Suddenly, Jessica stirred in her sleep and soon, her arms were wrapped around my waist as she snuggled closer to me. "Jaegi, saranghae." I heard Jessica said softly as I stared at her closed eyes but after a while, I smiled as I realised that Jessica was sleep-talking. Pulling the blanket over myself, I joined her to dreamland.

"Good morning, my angel."

Jessica rubbed her eyes as she slowly lifted up her head. Her arms were still wrapped around my waist as she covered while yawning. "Morning, Jaegi." She replied as she snuggled closer to me with her head resting on my chest.

I smiled as I kissed the top of her head. "I'm sorry. For making you upset yesterday." I felt Jessica's arms slipping away from my waist as I quickly grabbed it and placed it back. "Are you still angry with me?" Jessica didn't lifted up her head but I could feel her nodding her head. "Is there anything that I can do to stop you from being angry with me?"

Jessica lifted up her head and looked at me before sighing. "You're not in the wrong. I'm just angry with you because you make me feel vulnerable. And I hate it. I hate the fact that I became possesive when it comes to you. Otteoke?" She pouted and frowned at the same time.

I leaned forward and kissed her pout. "Then just continue to be possessive but have faith in my love for you. Remember that time at the beach when you accused me of flirting, I was actually hurt with your words. Even so, I try my best to understand where you're coming from. The jealousy and the possessiveness is because you love me and I'm thankful for that. But please don't ever doubt the fact that I only have you in my heart."

"Mianhae, Jaegi. I was just really unhappy at that time so I just said out whatever that was on my mind. I should try to learn to control my jealousy." Jessica replied as she leaned her head back to my chest

"Gwenchana. You've always been honest in expressing yourself." I said as I smiled at her. "But I agree that you need to control your jealousy. Appa said that in the future, I'll be surrounded by more beautiful ladies and good-looking men in my line of work."

"Appa Park said that?" Jessica asked as I nodded my head. "In that case, can you don't take over his businesses?"

I chuckled when I heard Jessica's question as she tried to give me her puppy eyes. "Like I said earlier, have faith in my love. No matter how many beautiful ladies or good-looking men comes into my life, they can't have my heart since I've given it to you. Trust me, Sicababy. Please?" I pleaded with sincerity.

"I trust you, Jaegi but I can't say that I trust the people around you. Especially in the future. I don't know.. I... I'm just scared of losing you." Jessica bite her lips and hugged me tighter.

For the first time that day, I saw how vulnerable she was. Hugging me tight as if she's afraid that I'll disappear. "I'm not going anywhere, Sicababy. I'm always here. By your side."

Both of us stayed in that position in silence as we just enjoyed being in each other's embrace. I was about to shift my position when I heard light snoring coming from Jessica. I smiled as I pulled myself away from her slowly. Our flight back to Korea will be in 6hrs time so I decided to get get ready first and let Jessica continue her sleep a little longer.

At Incheon Airport,

"Thanks Hyo. For picking us up." I said as I took a seat beside Hyoyeon who was in the driver seat. Jessica was already seated at the back since she went inside the car while me and Hyoyeon were putting the luggage in the car boot.

"No worries. Anyway, my car is the only one that can fit us. You don't expect Yul or Taeng to pick you up with their sports car right. And Soo is still not back yet. She's been spending time at Sunny's home since a week ago but I think they'll be back this evening." Hyoyeon replied as she drove of from the airport carpark.

"How come Seohyun didn't accompany you along?" Jessica asked.

"She's been at her parent's place since 2 days ago." Hyoyeon answered as the rest of the journeys were filled with stories about our summer break.

I carried Jessica's luggage and brought it to her room when we reached her dorm. Hyoyeon told us to gather next door since most of the girls were there. I told her that I'll go over once I'm done helping Jessica unpacked and Hyoyeon volunteered to carry my luggage to my room. After about an hour, me and Jessica went over.

Greetings were exchanged as everyone was excited to see each other again. We took turn to tell our stories and shared the goodies that everyone brought. We were caught up with the storytelling that we didn't realised it was already 5pm until Hyoyeon's phone rang. It was Seohyun who was asking Hyoyeon to pick her up.

Then Taeyeon suggested for us to have dinner outside since nobody was in the mood to cook so we asked Hyoyeon to bring Seohyun to the mall after picking her up. We also called Sooyoung to ask about her whereabouts. Since Sooyoung was driving, Sunny answered the call and we told them to meet us up at the mall too.

At around 7pm, the 10 of us gathered and had our dinner at a Korean BBQ restaurant. It was chaotic since everyone was excited to talk about what they did during the summer break. Even so, we still managed to finish our dinner after almost 2hrs in the restaurant.

"Are we going back to the dorm now?" Taeyeon asked as we all gathered outside the restaurant.

"How about a late night movie?" Yuri suggested but most of us disagreed on it since there was no good movie to watch at the moment and some were afraid they might fall asleep in the cinema after the heavy dinner.

"How about a cafe with great ambience and live performances?" I suggested. When everyone agreed to it, I gave them the address and all of us drove to the place.

We were ushered in to a big table at the corner of the cafe. It actually looked more like a pub to me but the high-end kind of pub. After taking our orders of drinks, the waiter left us as some of the girls looked around.

"This place is nice. Quite cozy actually and I think the live performance will be held there." Hyoyeon said as she pointed to the stage that was at the other end of the pub.

Everyone turned to look at where Hyoyeon had pointed to and saw a grand piano, a drum set and 2 guitars on a stand placed neatly on the stage. At the same time, the waiter came back with our drinks and light snacks.

"Hey Jae, how did you find out about this pub? I thought you said that it was a cafe?" Yuri asked.

"That's what she told me." I said as everyone had a confused look.

"Who is she?" Jessica asked but before I could reply her, loud thunderous claps were heard as a light lit up on stage. Everyone turned to look with a shocked expression including mine when I saw Ailee standing on the stage.

No one said anything as everyone was giving their full attention to the stage. The moment Ailee ended her performance, another round of loud applause was heard. Sooyoung and Hyoyeon even stood up and clapped while waving at her. I facepalmed myself as I watched their behaviour. I guessed Ailee saw the two dorky girls as I saw her giving them an 'okay' sign.

"You knew Ailee was going to perform here?" Sooyoung asked as she sat down and took a sip of her drink.

"Anni. She only told me that she's working part time here. I didn't even know that she can sing so well." I replied just in time as Ailee walked up to us.

"Hi everyone.... I didn't expect to see you all here." She said as she smiled at us. Tiffany took a chair and placed it beside her for Ailee to have a seat. "How did you all find my performance?"

A few 'daebak's and 'great' could be heard as Ailee just smiled and said her thanks for the compliments. She explained that her schoolmate recommended her the place and all she had to do was sing, maybe about 2 or 3 songs per night.

"That was actually my 2nd performance for the night. If there's no request from the audience, I can finish work by 11pm." Ailee explained as she said that she started work at 8pm with breaks in between performances. "Sometimes, the customers can also use the stage to perform.

As all of us continued talking, I noticed that Jessica was spacing out. Placing my arms around her waist, I must have startled her when I felt her body jerking from my touch. I smiled at her and asked her what's on her mind. She gave me a small smile and shook her head, saying that it was nothing. I suspected that she's upset about something and the fact that she's trying to hide her feelings from me, I'm not sure if it's a good thing or not.

"Have you and Ailee been contacting each other? Because you said that Ailee told you that she's working here." Taeyeon asked as she pointed at me with a smrik on her face.

"Yah! What's with that smirk." I said as I slapped her fingers away. I then told them what happened during the summer break where Ailee contacted me. "If you don't believe me, I can show you the messages." I said as I took out my phone from the pocket and placed it on the table.

"Talking about messages, guess who I met in Busan." Taeyeon suddenly asked as she looked at me and Yuri. "Kim Yu Jin."

"Mwo??!!" Both me and Yuri had the same expression.

"Kim Yu Jin as in Uee?" Yuri asked as Taeyeon nodded her head. "What does she got to do with messages?"

"To cut it short, Uee asked if Jae was still angry with her. She said that she's been sending well-wishes to Jae every year but never once had Jae replied her." Taeyeon answered as both her and Yuri looked at me.

I stared at my phone and remembered all the messages from an unknown number that I received on Christmas, New Year and Valentine's Day which is also my birthday. Suddenly, I could feel my anger building inside me as my body tensed up. Releasing my arm from Jessica's waist, I excused myself to the toilet.

Jessica's POV:

'Control your jealousy, Sica. Stop being paranoid.' Those thoughts kept running through my mind as I didn't realise Jaegi was wrapping her arms around my waist. Due to the shock, I jerked my body slightly as she asked me what's on my mind. I told her that it was nothing when in fact, I was a bit upset. 'Is Jae keeping in contact with Ailee behind my back?' My question was answered when Taeyeon asked Jae about it. Hearing Jae answering her confidently and even placing her phone on the table, I felt slightly better but that feeling was shortlived when Taeyeon suddenly mentioned about Kim Yu Jin or Uee. I've heard that name before but I can't really remembered. I was about to ask Jae about it when I felt her releasing her arms from my waist. For the first time, I saw anger in Jae's expression. Her frown was deep and her smile was gone. I saw her clencing her fist as excused herself to the toilet. 'What had triggered her anger?"
