"That girl punch me and make my lips bleed. Appa, I want you to sue her and make her pay for all my injuries." Taecyeon informed the elderly man who had just walked into the room.

"Mwo? Punch you. Who does she think she is? How dare she hurt my only son. She's going to pay for this. Which one is she?" Mr Ok asked Taecyeon who quickly pointed to Taeyeon but the moment his dad turned to face all 5 of us, he was shocked to see me. "Ms Park, how come you're here too?"

"The girl that punched your son is my best friend. I'll pay for his injuries and I apologised for her rash behaviour." I said as I saw Taecyeon smirking at me.

"Pay for my injuries? You must be kidding. I'm going to sue her too. Do you think you can afford that?" Taecyeon shoved me suddenly, causing me to fall down. He was about to laugh when his dad shouted at him.

"Yah!! Are you crazy?" Taecyeon received a smack on his head by Mr Ok who shouted at him. "Why did you do that to her? Do you even know who she is? Do you know how influential she is in the business world? She can buy our company with just a snap of her fingers and it won't even affect her bit. Aigoo, this idiot." Mr Ok sighed as Yuri and Hyoyeon helped me up. "Ms Park, I apologised for the actions of my idiotic son. I assure you that I'll deal with him properly at home. Please don't take any actions against us and please don't let this affect our business proposals to you."

I saw the surprised look in Taecyeon's face when his dad bowed slightly to me and even pushed Taecyeon's head down along to apologise.

"Appa, what are you doing? Why do we have to apologise to her?" Taecyeon asked the moment he stood up straight.

"You, idiot. We have business proposals made to her. Don't you know who she is? She's the current director of Park Group, one of the leading conglomerate in Korea. They're a multi-industry company even though their parent company is the hotel business. This hotel we're currently at belongs to her. Buying out our company is like using less than 1% of their revenue. After she took over from her dad as the director, the company expanded further into the Asian market." Mr Ok explained to Taecyeon whose eyes was wide open and his jaws dropped. "Ms Park, please accept my apologies once again. My son only knows how to fool around without any care to others."

"If I was not present here, I believe you would have defended his actions too, Mr Ok. You almost wanted my best friend to pay for all this mess." I said as I saw him looking more guilty than he already was. "I'm not going to say anything about how you handle your son or your family matters but I don't like to work with arrogant people who thinks that money can make them look down on others. I would have to reconsider my decision on your business proposals that you handed over to me earlier. For now, if you don't mind. Please excuse us."

I called the restaurant manager to usher both Mr Ok and Taecyeon out from the room as the rest of us took our seats. We saw how Mr Ok kept nagging at Taecyeon on the way out as he continued to smack his son's head. No one said anything for the next 10mins until I smirked and started to giggle.

"Did it feel good when you punched him, Taeng?"

The rest of the girls burst into laughter as we started to chat about the reason for the gathering while we enjoyed our lunch.

Jessica's POV

"Congrats, Jessi." Tiffany arrived with her famous eye-smile and gave me a hug. "Where's the rest of the girls?"

"There are at the table in front. Near the stage." I pointed to Tiffany who then brought Miyeon to the table.

"Relax, Sica. Me and Soo will take care of everything. You just need to smile and do your presentation well." Taeyeon said as I sighed.

"I didn't realise that it'll be this big. Where did you and Soo even find this place?" I asked as I pointed to the whole hall as we stood near the stage.

"You wanted to have 400 guests and also to serve them food while they watch the launch of your fashion brand on a runway. This place is able to cater to that." Sooyoung replied with a grin.

"By the way, why is that side covered with black curtains? It made the atmosphere a little dimmed." I asked as I pointed to the left side of the hall.

"Where's Jae?" Taeyeon suddenly asked as I told them that she was on her way.

"Aren't you suppose to go and change to your dress for tonight, Sica?" Sooyoung asked me as I quickly nodded my head. Walking away, I couldn't help but feel that both Taeyeon and Sooyoung were hiding something up their sleeves.

When Sooyoung and Taeyeon had sent me their reply for my proposal for today's event, I thought that everything was done moderately. But looking at the scene today, it seemed that they had really put in a lot of effort in preparing for all of these.

After changing into my black/red dress, I was doing my make-up when I heard a beep from my phone.

From Jaegi:

What color is your dress?

I smiled before typing a reply to her and also asked about her whereabouts.

From Jaegi:

Black/Red? Okay, noted. I'm on my way.

Reading the message, I frowned. I thought she said she was on her way 20mins ago. Brushing aside that thought, I met up with Sooyoung and Taeyeon again at the side of the stage once I was ready. The two of them kept telling me that I looked great and reminded me to remain calm while we waited for the guests to fully arrived before the event would start in 30mins time.

"Hey, look who's here." Taeyeon nudged me and pointed to the entrance.

I smiled when I saw Appa Park walking in with Boa Unnie and Yunho Oppa. As I continued watching them walking towards the table where my parents were, another frown appeared on my face when I realised that Jae was not with them.

"Sica, the show will be starting soon." Sooyoung informed me as I nodded my head and stood at the side of the stage.

"Ladies and gentlemen, please get to your seats as the show will start in 10mins time. Thank you." Taeyeon's voice echoed through the hall as everyone started to move.

As I listened to Sooyoung and Taeyeon hosting the event, I continued my search for Jae among the crowd from where I was standing. There was no sign of her from the table where the other girls were and also from the table where our parents were seated. I took out my phone and typed her a message, asking her again about her whereabouts but there was no reply until it was time for me to come on stage.

I had to address the crowd about my upcoming fashion line and also talked about the new projects that my company would be handling in the near future. The first part of the presentation took about 45mins before Sooyoung and Taeyeon took over while the guest were then served with some light snacks and beverages. A live performance was introduced as Sooyoung and Taeyeon went to the side of the stage where I was standing.

"Did you both received any messages from Jae? She's not here yet and not even replying to my messages. I'm worried that something might have happen." I said as I bite my lips and looked at Sooyoung and Taeyeon.

"Jae? I thought I saw her earlier." Taeyeon replied as I noticed her nudging Sooyoung's elbow.

"Oh yes. I think.. hhmmm.. Maybe she went to the restroom. It's a little dimmed in the crowd so maybe you didn't notice her." Sooyoung's answer didn't sound convincing to me.

"Then why isn't she replying my messages?" I asked as I squirted my eyes at both of them.

"Messages? hhhmm.. I'm not sure. But the signal here is not that good. Even my phone is not receiving any signal." Taeyeon took out her phone and pretended to look at it while showing it to Sooyoung. "How about yours, Soo?"

Sooyoung quickly took out her phone and showed it to Taeyeon. "Mine too. Maybe Jae didn't get your messages."

I frowned and stared at them who were grinning dorkily at me. I looked at my phone and was about to show them that I had a full signal on it but the two excused themselves by saying that the second part of the event would be starting soon.

Both of them went back on stage after the live band ended their 15mins performance as Sooyoung and Taeyeon talked for another 15mins before they welcomed me back on stage for my second presentation. Calming myself down and keeping a professional image, I walked to the stage as the screen lit up to show the view of the runway. As the models walked down, I had to explain the details of my designs to the crowd who were listening attentively while they continued eating.

"Everyone. Let's give Jessica another round of applause for her great presentation. The event is coming to an end but before that, we have one more thing left to do." Taeyeon said as she gave a thumbs up to Sooyoung who had walked to the other end of the stage.

Pressing a remote, the black curtain slowly opened up to reveal an open view of the sky behind long panels of glass windows. As everyone took their time to adjust their eyes to the brightness, Taeyeon brought me along to stand beside Sooyoung.

"Everyone, please keep your eyes on the sky." Sooyoung pointed upwards.

Just at that moment, a small airplane flew by with a banner attached at the back. On it was written 'Jessica Jung Sooyeon'

Automatically, everyone in the hall turned to look at me who clearly had a clueless expression. Taeyeon had to repeat the instruction before their attention were brought back to the sky. Soon, another small airplane flew by and slowly, everyone realised what the airplane was doing.

Everyone started to clap and was amazed with the aerial performance. As the airplane flew by and the words slowly disappeared, everyone turned to the stage again. I was about to ask Taeyeon and Sooyoung when the lights on stage were dimmed out with a video popping out on the screen.

Jae's POV

From the song that was playing, I knew that the video was coming to an end as I heard a loud applause coming from crowd. I took a deep breathe as I waited at my hiding place.

"Thank you everyone for the applause. Anyway, Jessica. Are you feeling a bit confused at the moment?"

I heard Sooyoung's voice over the mic as Jessica answered with a yes. Instantly, I smiled when I heard her voice.

"Did you enjoy the aerial performance and the video?" Taeyeon asked as Jessica answered with the same reply.

"After watching all these, is there a certain someone that comes to your mind right now?" Jessica must have nodded her head as I didn't heard her reply. "Would you mind saying out loud the name of that person?"

"Park Hyun Jae." Jessica answered with a little shyness in her voice.

That was my que to come out from behind the stage which was the opposite side to where Jessica has been standing all this while. I saw how shocked Jessica was with my sudden appearance as I just smiled at her.

"Hi." I chuckled a little when I saw how confused Jessica was at the moment.

By then, it was total silence in the hall as everyone had their focus on us. Taking both of Jessica's hand, I took a deep breathe before saying my speech.

"Jessica Jung Sooyeon. 20yrs ago, I met you for the very first time when we were only 7yrs old. Even though it was a very brief moment, I couldn't stop thinking of you, my leopard print angel. I didn't see you again after that. 12yrs later, when I saved you during your cheerleading practice, you landed on me and stole my heart away. I really thought an angel had fallen on me. Since we got together, we went through a lot of heartaches and separations. But our love remain strong. Sicababy, I love you with all my heart and I'm sorry I took so long to do this. Thank you for being understanding and patient with me all these years. Thank you for loving me and always there by my side." I smiled as I went down on bended knees and took out a red box form my pocket. I opened it to show it's content to Jessica.

"Jessica Jung Sooyeon, will you marry me?"

The moment Jessica started to nod her head repeatedly, I stood up and gave her a tight hug. The crowd cheered and gave us a thunderous applause.

Jessica's POV

I couldn't explain the happiness that I was feeling right now. The things that Jae had planned out today, really took me by surprise. I couldn't stop smiling by myself.

"Are you that happy, Sooyeon?" Omma asked me.

My parents were with me as we stood at the exit door to say our thanks to the leaving guests for attending the event and they also congratulated us for the good news.

"Of course I am, Omma. By the way, did you and Appa knew about Jae's proposal plan?" I asked as I noticed that my parents were not as shocked as I was.

"Of course. She came to us to seek our blessings." Appa replied. "Even though she knew that we'll agree to it no matter what, she did it as a form of respect."

I smiled and instantly felt proud of Jae. Frankly speaking, she's really a gem. Someone of her status could choose to be snobbish but she's almost like an angel. Appa Park and Omma Park had really taught her well and sometimes, I wished I had the opportunity to meet her Omma. She must have been a great lady.

"A penny for your thoughts." The familiar voice whispered to my ears, brought a smile on my face as Jae gave me a backhug.

"I was just thinking about everything that happened today and suddenly your Omma came to mind." I said as I saw a glint of sadness in Jae's eyes when I tilted my head to the side to see her face. "I wished I could tell her what a great person you've become and that she's the reason as to why I'm going to have a wonderful partner for the rest of my life."

A smile appeared on Jae's face as she leaned in and kissed me on my cheeks. "Saranghae. Thank you for accepting me."

"Nado, saranghae. Thank you for being you." I returned her kiss on her cheeks and was greeted with a disapproving sound from our left side.

"Yah!!! You two lovebirds. Stop being cheesy and touchy in front of us. There are kids around." Taeyeon said as she tried to cover Miyeon's eyes.

"By the way, did the two of you plan to wear the same colored outfit?" Tiffany asked as I told them about Jae's messages earlier.

"Why does Jae look so dashing in suits?" Sunny suddenly said with a dreamy voice as Tiffany, Seohyun and Yoona joined in to agree with her remarks.

"Yah!!!" Sooyoung, Taeyeon, Yuri and Hyoyeon shouted at the same time, causing everyone else to laugh.

4hrs ago, Jessica and I had exchanged our wedding vows in the presence of only our family members, close friends and their families as we wanted it to be a private ceremony. Once that was over, all of us drove to the post wedding reception that was held at my hotel which was about 20mins drive away for the rest of our guests.

By the time we arrived at the venue, most of our guests were already seated. Our family members entered the hall first as they took their seats. It was a que for the host to inform the guests of my arrival.

"You should go first since you're the oldest amongst us." Sooyoung pointed to Taeyeon who shook her head.

"Andwae. I want to walk beside Jae since I'm her best man." Taeyeon exclaimed as Yuri stepped in to join in the argument while Hyoyeon just watched with a poker face.

"Guys." I called out to them but there was no response. "Guys!!" The 4 of them turned to look at me as I folded my arms. "All of you are my best men and would be sitting with me later at the table. But for now, you will need to walk into the hall with your own wives."

As they nodded their heads, I told them the arrangement of how they would proceed. TaeNy would be leading the procession, followed by YoonYul, SooSun and HyoHyun. Kyungsan, Manse and Miyeon were appointed as the flowerboys and girl so they would be standing in front of me and Jessica. As they walked, they would throw the flowers on the ground.

Once TaeNy started to enter the hall, I could hear the loud applause from inside. Suddenly, I felt Jessica clinging on to my right arm as I turned to face her.

"Nervous?" I asked her as she nodded her head. "Don't be. I'm always here beside you. Just like how I said in my vows earlier, I'll make sure that I'll hold on to all my promises to you."

"I've never had a doubt on that." Jessica smiled at me. "I can't believe that I'm finally married to you."

"Well, you better believe it. Because it's real." I said as I leaned in to kiss her lips.

"Look, look. Jae Omma is kissing Sica Omma."

I heard Kyungsan's voice as the both of us immediately turned to look at 3 pairs of curious eyes before I broke out into a giggle when Jessica slapped me lightly on my shoulders. I knew she was blushing in front of those kids as she told the kids to prepare to walk forward into the hall.

When it was our turn to enter the hall, I was mesmerised by my surrounding. I had engaged the help of a wedding planner to handle my post wedding reception and truthfully, I was impressed with their works. It was elegantly decorated with a white/gold theme just like I requested. I could see that Jessica was also stunned with the hall deco. Walking down the hall towards the long table where the other 8 girls were already seated, both of us smiled at the guests who congratulated us.

Taking a seat at the centre of the table, the host continued with her prepared speech. Taeyeon was seated on my left, followed by Yuri, Sooyoung and Hyoyeon. On Jessica's right was Tiffany, followed by Yoona, Sunny and Seohyun. The host informed that dinner would be served shortly while we would all be entertained by a live band.

30mins later, Taeyeon tapped me on my thighs as I saw her giving me the eye signal to which I nodded my head. Soon, I saw Hyoyeon calling the host over and whispered something to her. After the host nodded her head, I took the napkin and cleaned my mouth.

"You're done eating?" Jessica saw my actions and looked at me with a worried expression.

Before I could answer her, the host already intercepted me by asking the bride to stand up for a while. Jessica followed the instruction eventhough she looked very confused.

"I'm sorry to disrupt your dinner for a moment but it seems that there's going to be a surprise event for you. But you'll need to step forward and sit at this chair." The host pointed to the chair that was in front of the stage.

Jessica looked at me as I just gestured her to go over to the chair. The moment she was seated, the host informed the guests to turn their attention to the stage for a while as the lights in the room, dimmed for a minute. When the lights were back on, me and the other 4 girls were already on stage.

As the song ended and I was pointing to her, I saw Jessica biting her lips with tears flowing down her cheeks. Taking quick steps towards her, I kneeled down and wipe her tears.

"Waeyo? Why are you crying, pabo-yah?" I asked as I smiled at her even though my heart hurts seeing her in tears.

"Why do you always surprise me like this? Even if you don't do all of these, I knew how you feel, pabo-yah." Jessica bite her lips again as she tried to control her tears. "You keep giving me so many things and showering me with so much love non-stop. What am I suppose to do?"

I finally understood the reason behind her tears. Jessica must have felt bad that I've always been the one giving while she's only been on the receiving end in our relationship. I realised that I did a lot of surprise events throughout the years just for her but that was what I wanted to do.

"Sicababy, I understand how you feel. You don't have to feel bad because this is what I wanted. Everything I do comes from my sincere heart." I said as I pulled her up to hug her.

"There are moments that you're suppose to give and moments that you should receive." Jessica mumbled the words on to my chest as I her back. "I know you're sincere. I've never had a doubt about that too."

"Arraseo. I understand. Saranghae." I said as I kissed her on her forehead.

"Nado, saranghae."

Suddenly, a loud applause erupted as I didn't realise that all along, I still had the small mic that was attached to my cheeks from the performance earlier.

"Pabo-yah, Park Hyun Jae." Jessica pinched my cheeks before burying her tomato-colored face into my chest as I just chuckled and bowed slightly to the crowd.

Dinner resumed as everyone mingled around after they were done eating. 30mins later, Appa Park stood up and walked to the stage. Taking the mic from the host, he tapped the mic to grab everyone's attention.

"Thank you for the attention. I'm standing here to give a wedding toast to my one and only daughter." He smiled as everyone clapped. "Park Hyun Jae, do you know how proud I am to have you as my daughter? You've exceeded my expectations and even Omma's expectations. Deep down inside, I know that you would have wished for her to be right here, right now. Trust me when I say she's here. She's always here with us."

I saw Appa looking straight into my eyes as he pointed to his heart. I bite my lips as I nodded my head while trying to control my tears from falling. I felt a hand on my thighs as I placed my hand over Jessica's hand.

"Losing your Omma at a young age of 16, having to migrate to a new place and leaving your friends behind, these are major changes in your life. With my heavy workload, I was actually scared that I won't be able to guide you well in your upbringing. I was scared that you might turn rebellious or even isolate yourself from others as I couldn't always be there for you. But you prove me wrong. Independantly, you took care of yourself, abiding with the teachings that your Omma and me has taught you which was no matter where you are, stay humble and always be thankful. I still remember when you hid your difficulties in coping with life in the States from me because you didn't want me to worry about it. When you asked my permission to return to Seoul to finish your studies, I was reluctant at first. But when I finally agreed to do so, I think that was the best decision that I've ever made for you. You had friends to accompany you here. You had found your true love here. Your happiness was meant to be here. Hyun Jae, after today, a new chapter of your life will begin. You'll have to be responsible for another life. You have to learn to share, to accomodate, to forgive and to accept the other person as who she is. Be truthful to one another. It's okay to be hurt and to hurt as long as you remain honest with your feelings towards each other." Appa paused for a while as he smiled at me.

"Sooyeon-ah, my daughter is not perfect. She has flaws too but I hope that you could accept them all. Even though I'm not always with her, I can assure you that my daughter loves you a lot. But just in case if she bullies you, don't be afraid to complain to me. I'll make sure that she behaves." Appa's remark caused a loud laughter from the crowd as I pouted while Jessica giggled beside me. "Lastly, all I have to say is this. Relationships last long not because they're destined to last long. Relationships last long because two brave people made a choice.. to keep it, to fight for it and to work for it. Thank you." Appa bowed his head as I quickly stood up and walked towards him.

I gave him a tight hug and thanked him for his words as I saw his watery eyes. I knew he was holding back his tears as I his back to calm him down. For the next 5mins, the whole hall was silence as everyone just smiled towards us. Jessica came up and squeezed herself in to be hugged by us as I chuckled at her actions.

The crowd resumed their activities while enjoying their dinner as Appa followed us to our table. The rest of the girls took turns to hug Appa as I stood aside with Jessica beside me.

"Hyun Jae, there's something that I wanted to give you. Hold on for a while." Appa said as he walked to his table and returned with a paperbag.

"When did you even get this?" I asked the moment he handed me the bag.

"It's been in my car ever since I arrived in Seoul 3 days ago." He smirked at me as I squinted my eyes at him.

"What's inside?" Jessica asked as she grabbed the bag.

I knew that something was not right when Appa tried to stop Jessica from taking the bag but it was too late when she took a peek inside. From her blushing face and the way she shoved the bag back to me, I knew Appa was up to his mischief. Taking a deep breathe before looking into the bag, I could feel my ears and cheeks becoming warmer when I saw the content.

"Appa!!!" I half-shouted at him as I closed my eyes, trying to supress the embarassment that was building up in me.

"Wae, wae? What's wrong?" Appa replied with a poker face as I glared at him before he broke out into a laughter. "I'm expecting some grandchildren soon."

I turned to face Jessica who was totally blushing beside me as I gave her an apologetic look while letting out a deep sigh.
