Yoona and Tiffany were smiling widely at each other while Sunny and Seohyun sighed. Jessica gave them a confused look as she raised her hands to get the attention of everyone.

"Wait. Why are the two of you so excited? You mean you both are happy that you'll be sponsoring the 3 of us?" Jessica said as everyone reacted slower than expected to her sentence but soon Sunny and Seohyun started to laugh while Yoona and Tiffany pouted.

"Yah!! Are you telling me that Jae really told you about it?" Tiffany asked as Jessica nodded her head. "So what's with the sad expression that you showed us earlier?"

"I need the recorded audio of the conversation. There must have been some prompting done by you. I don't think Jae will voluntarily said it to you, knowing how jealous you are." Yoona said as she held out her hands to ask for Jessica's phone.

Jessica took out her phone and placed it on the table before pressing the play button.

(Recorded conversation in the car)

"How was the movie that you girls watched earlier? Was it nice?"

"The movie was not bad. There was romance, comedy and even action in it. All the girls seem to enjoyed the movie. How was the performances at the dancing school?"

"The performances were great. The dancers were really talented and energetic. We even learnt some dance steps from them."

There was silence for about 2 minutes.

"As I was saying, it was a learning experience for all of us. After the performance, we hanged out at the pub where Ailee was working. It was the nearest to Hyo's dancing school and Taeng suggested to go there to save us travelling time. There was a situation at the pub earlier and to help Ailee out, me, Taeng and Yul actually performed two songs on stage."

The next 2mins were spent on Jae explaining to Jessica about what happened in the pub before Jae stopped talking and silence filled the car again.

"Are you okay, Sicababy? You've been quiet ever since I finished talking about the incident at the pub. You were actually quite calm, not like what I expected."

"How were you expecting me to react? Knowing how jealous I can get, why did you still decide to tell me? You could have just kept quiet about the whole situation. Aren't you afraid that I might blow up, knowing how I'll react to these kind of situation?"

"That's because I don't see the need to hide it from you since I only treat her as a friend. Hiding it from you will just make you feel suspicious of me. I can't stop you from being jealous but I would rather you hear it from me than anyone else. About you being jealous, I think I can handle it after experiencing your HellSica mode for a few times."

A soft slapping sound was heard followed by the sound of Jae giggling.

"Please always remember that I only have you in my heart, Sica and now, we've reached our dorms."

A kissing sound was then heard coming from the phone.

"Yah!! Can't you at least stop the recording when you guys are kissing? That's so gross." Tiffany said as the others gave Jessica a scrunched up expression.

"It was just a kiss on my temple from Jae. She was undoing my seat belt and gave me a kiss at the same time. I didn't expect it so obviously I didn't have time to react." Jessica replied as she glared at the girls before they bursted out laughing.

"But how come there was a pause in between Jae's speech? Did you do something that we can't see?" Yoona squirted her eyes at Jessica, trying to find any possible ways of turning the situation around.

"Jae had to make a turn for the car to enter the school gates so she paused to concentrate on the road." Jessica replied as Yoona showed a defeated expression.

"So this means the 3 of us will earn a free meal from them." Sunny said as she pointed at Tiffany and Yoona. "Assa.. Let's get some sleep then. I've got a morning class tomorrow. We'll discuss again about the date of our prize redemption. Nights, everyone."

As Sunny stood up to walked to her room, Tiffany and Yoona also followed suit. Just when Jessica was about to do the same thing, Seohyun softly grabbed her wrist and followed her. A confused Jessica didn't asked much until both of them are inside her room.

"Seohyun-ah, why did you follow me to my room?" Jessica asked as she sat down near her bed.

"I'm not sure if I'm right about this but are things okay between you and Jae?" Seohyun's question brought a frown on Jessica's face. "I mean on the outside, everything looks fine but I can't stop the feeling that you're supressing something inside you. Seems like you're holding back some emotions when you're around Jae."

"Seohyun-ah, are you sure you're taking the right degree at the moment? I think you'll do very well if you took up a degree in psychology studies." Jessica smiled a little. "Frankly, I'm hiding my true feelings about certain things with Jae. But I just don't know how to talk it out with her."

"Did you at least try to do so?" Seohyun asked as Jessica shook her head. "I believe that no matter how difficult it is for you to express it out, Jae will be there to listen and help you out. Don't you feel guilty hiding your feelings when Jae has always been honest with hers?"

Jessica bite her lips as she realised the truth in Seohyun's words. But how can she say it all out, everything that is on her mind if she's afraid of the consequences? Jessica stared at the floor with a blank look.

"Why don't you tell me first about your true feelings and maybe I can try to help you out in any way." Seohyun offered as Jessica looked up.

"Remember Uee?" Seohyun nodded her head. "I know that Jae doesn't want to have anything to do with her anymore but after hearing both sides of the story, I've got the sudden urge to meet her up. I know that there's still a possibility of Uee holding on to her feelings for Jae but I can't help thinking about the misunderstandings that happened between them. Knowing Jae, she must have felt a little bit of regret too with the whole situation but Jae will never think of meeting her to rectify it."

"Was it because of my question that night?" Seohyun asked as Jessica nodded her head slowly. "Mianhae. I didn't mean to place both of you in a difficult situation. It was something that I accidentally blurted out when I was thinking about it. But do you really think it's necessary for Jae to meet up with Uee? And how about Ailee?"

"Ailee? What do you mean?" Jessica asked Seohyun with a confused expression.

"Aren't you afraid that Ailee might develop feelings for Jae with the way Jae is always helping her out?" Seohyun literally took the words out from as Jessica gasped and covered .

"How... how did you manage to read my mind?" Jessica asked before she sighed.

"I was observing you when we were listening to the audio conversation. During the part where Jae was explaining what happened at the pub, I noticed that you sighed for a few times. I've got a feeling that you didn't really agree to Jae's action of helping Ailee out." Seohyun said.

"Anni, anni... I'm fine with Jae helping Ailee out. No matter what, Ailee is still our friend. But...." Jessica stopped in the middle of her sentence and sighed again.

"You're afraid that Jae's kindness will cause another misunderstanding like how it was between her and Uee?" Jessica looked at Seohyun before slowly nodding her head. "So what do you plan to do about it? Stop Jae from befriending Ailee?"

"Won't that be unfair to both of them? I mean Jae has already said that she only sees Ailee as a friend and I'm not even sure if Ailee really has feelings for Jae. I guess all I can do is just to follow the flow first. About Uee, I'm still unsure about what I actually wants." Jessica said as she lied down on the bed and yawned.

"I guess we should get some rest now. You're already sleepy. But my only advice to you is, don't keep things from Jae. Let her know what's on your mind. At least she's aware about your feelings." Seohyun said as she bid Jessica goodnight and left the room.

I had just finished showering and was sitting on my computer table to organize my school work for tomorrow classes when my phone beeped. Looking at the phone, I saw a new message from Ailee.

To Hyun Jae:

Once again, thank you so much for the help today. I forgot to tell you that you were great during the performance especially when you were playing the drums while singing. Looking so cool and charismatic. By the way, school will start tomorrow so Hwaiting! 

I smiled while reading her message and was about to type a reply when Taeyeon's words came to my mind. 

"Don't make Ailee become another Uee."

I sighed as I placed my phone on the table. 'What did Taeng really mean by that?' I thought hard about it but can't figure anything out. I looked at the clock in my room and walked to my door.

"Hey, Taeng. Are you already asleep?" I held my head in between Taeyeon's door as I saw her on her bed, playing games on her phone.

"Anni.. Waeyo?" Taeyeon answered but her eyes were still fixed on her phone.

"There's something that is bothering me and I was wondering if you could help me out." I said as I stepped into her room and closed the door.

"Sure but give me one more minute. Let me clear this level first." Taeyeon replied as I took a seat at her computer table and waited.

After about 5mins, Taeyeon finally put her phone aside as I yawned in front of her. "Mianhae.. I know I took longer then expected. It was a difficult level. So, what's bothering you?"

I looked at Taeyeon who was already sitting up straight and facing me. "It's about what you said earlier. About not turning Ailee into another Uee. Honestly, I don't really get what you mean."

Taeyeon looked at me for a while and frowned. "Let me ask you something first. You've heard Uee's side of the story from me that night at the pub. Has your opinion of her change at all or is it still the same?'

"Uee?" I asked as Taeyeon nodded her head. "I have to admit, it seems that there's a lot of misunderstandings between us but that doesn't mean I agree to what she had done. I mean if she's doing all that just because I rejected her feelings, then it's not fair to me. I was just being honest with her."

"Have you ever thought about how she could have develop feelings for you?" Taeyeon asked again as it made me frowned. "This is just my point of view. It may not be correct though. What I feel is that Uee started to have feelings for you ever since both of us declared to her about our uality. Frankly, it's not that difficult to have feelings for someone like you."

"Me?" I pointed to myself.

"You've got good personality, talented and also a very good family background. You were always there to help Uee out no matter what the situation is. She felt protected and assured whenever she's with you." Taeyeon explained further.

"So she's indebted to me?" I asked as Taeyeon shook her head.

"I'm not sure if it's a feeling of indebtness or if she's really got feelings for you. What I'm trying to say is if you're too nice to someone and always there for them, they might get the wrong idea." Taeyeon added on.

"I'm nice to you and the rest of the girls too but I don't think any of you have such feelings for me right?" I asked as I scratched the back of my head.

"Yah!! Pabo!!" I almost fell off the chair when Taeyeon raised her voice at me. "You don't expect me, Yul, Hyo and Soo to fall for you right? That's so...." Taeyeon shook her whole body and gave me a funny expression.

When I thought back about what Taeyeon said, I shook my body too and both of us laughed.

"What I meant is girls like Uee and Ailee who are vulnerable and have the need to be protected. Just look at the gestures that Ailee gave you. The glances, the short stares and how you're always the last one that she'll hug so that she can take her own sweet time to do so without having to rush for the next person." Taeyeon's words surprised me. "You thought no one will notice it right?"

"I didn't really think much about her gestures though. Do you think Sica can notice it too?" I asked as I bite my lips.

"Maybe. It could be just a woman instinct." Taeyeon replied.

"Aissshhh.. woman instinct again. How come I don't have it?" I asked as I folded my arms.

"Because you're a pabo." Taeyeon laughed her ahjumma laughter as I shook my head. "Anyway, stop brooding over it. It's time to sleep. I've got an early class tomorrow."

After Taeyeon shooed me out from her room, I lied down on my bed. Feeling more burdened than I initially was, I didn't really had a good night sleep.

School work was getting on my nerves as I was still struggling with both degree courses. It's only been a month after the summer break but I'm already feeling exhausted with all the assignments and school activities. I was at the library, almost dozing off when I felt someone tapped me on my shoulders.

"Yah, I thought you'll be busy doing your assignments." Sunny whispered as she took a seat beside me. She had just finished her classes. "Where's my shikshin?"

"She went to get some drinks and snacks. Her growling stomach has been disturbing my concentration." I grinned dorkily as Sunny just giggled. "Quick. I need your help with this assignment. I still can't get to balance my ledger." I sighed as I showed Sunny my paperwork.

"For someone who has a lot of money, you really when dealing with them." Sunny commented as I just meronged at her.

For the next 30mins, both of us teased each other around until two students came up to us and commented that both of us looked cute together. That comment froze us immediately. After they walked away, both of us looked at each other and gave a scrunched up expression.

"What's with the faces?" Sooyoung said as she suddenly appeared at the table.

"Some random students came up to us and said that we looked cute together." I said with a teasing tone while Sooyoung had a shocked expression as she sat down beside Sunny.

"Look cute together? They should have seen us." Sooyoung pointed to herself and Sunny. "We look great together." Sooyoung smirked as Sunny covered her reddened face.

"Yah, yah, yah!! I'm trying to study here. No cheesiness allowed." I said as I looked down on my book. "If only Sica was here."

"Why didn't you ask her to join us?" Sunny asked. "I thought she finished class early today.'

"She and Fany had to do some research for their fashion design assignment. Both of them had went to the mall to have a look around on the lastest trend. Taeng is with them since she borrowed Soo's car to drive them there." I explained to Sunny as Sooyoung quickly reminded me that the car actually belonged to Sunny.

"My car is your car too, Soo. What's mine is yours too." Sunny replied as Sooyoung just grinned dorkily and nodded her head.

"Aigoo, all these cheesiness is making me loose interest in studying." I said as Sunny quickly apologised and the 3 of us continued with our revision.

4hrs later, we decided to wrap up everything and head back to the dorm. It was almost 9.30pm and Sooyoung was already hungry. We decided to head over to the cafetaria and asked the other girls to join us. Sooyoung called our dorm while Sunny called theirs. After about 10mins, Sooyoung said that Yuri, Taeyeon and Hyoyeon had agreed to meet us at the cafetaria while Sunny said that only Yoona and Tiffany would be joining us.

"Fany said that Seo is already getting ready to do her meditation while Sica said that she's too tired to move around. She's already on her bed anyway." Sunny said as I just smiled and nodded my head.

I was a bit disappointed when Jessica didn't want to join us. Part of me was hoping to be able to at least spend time with her but part of me understood that she must be tired after her mall trip. Even though our dorms are just beside one another, I felt that it was getting more difficult for me to meet Jessica. With me having to attend additional classes, the free time that I usually have would be spend on revisions and assignments. Sometimes, I do envy Sunny. Sooyoung would always find the time to spend with her. Just like today, she was willing to sit at the library for 3hrs to just accompany Sunny and that is not the only time that she had done so.

Jessica did accompanied me twice but she ended up sleeping on both times and it made me feel uncomfortable seeing her sleep in an awkward position at the library table. So nowadays, I would rarely ask her to accompany me. I would rather she sleep comfortably in her own bed since my revisions sometimes will usually ends around 11pm or later.

"How come you guys finished early today? Usually you will only reach the dorm at around midnight." Taeyeon asked as she sat down at the table. Hyoyeon, Yuri, Yoona and Tiffany then took their seats.

"It's Thursday, Taeng." I said as Taeyeon nodded her head. We always end our revision early on Thursday since we'll have futsal practices tomorrow. We agreed that we need to at least rest more before our practices on every Friday.

Yoona and Yuri then volunteered to order the food for everyone as we chatted while waiting for them.

"How was the mall trip earlier? Did you guys manage to have enough research materials for your assigment?" I asked Tiffany who nodded her head.

"Even though it was kind of difficult but I think we should be able to manage. If only we were not assigned to design for couple clothing line, I think it would have been much easier. Jessi had volunteered to be the female model so all we need is to find a guy to be our male model." Tiffany said as she pouted.

"Couple clothing with Sica as the model?" I asked with a shocked expression. "And did you just said a male model?" I wasn't aware of it at all.

"You were not aware?" Taeyeon asked as I shook my head. "Sica must have forgotten to tell you since both of you rarely meet each other and also busy with schoolwork."

"I guess so." I replied with a short answer as Yuri and Yoona came back with our food.

Everyone continued to chat while eating but I wasn't really taking part in most of their conversation. I would just laugh occasionally at the jokes they made and just sat there listening to everything. It was almost 11pm when we decided to head back to the dorm. I packed food for Jessica and asked Yoona to pass it to her just in case she's hungry and even if she's already asleep, she can heat it up tomorrow and have it for breakfast since I knew that her class would only start at 10am on Friday.

"Don't you want to pass it to her personally?" Yoona asked when I was still in front of their dorm.

I shook my head and just told Yoona that I need to get some rest since my class will start at 8am tomorrow. I just told Yoona to send my regards to Jessica.

Jessica's POV:

I was lying on my bed, looking through my phone at all the photos that I had taken at the mall earlier when I heard someone knocked my bedroom door. After giving the permission for the person to come in, Yoona's head popped out between the doors.

"Sica, are you hungry?"

"Wae?" I asked. I knew the girls had went off to grab some dinner earlier but I was too tired to join them.

"Jae packed carbonara spaghetti for you from the cafetaria." Yoona asked as she showed me the packed food.

"She did? But where is she?" I asked as I sat up, hoping that Jae would surprisingly appear behind Yoona's back but my hopes were dashed when Yoona replied saying that Jae had went back to her dorm. Feeling a little disappointed, I told Yoona to just leave the food in the fridge first as I wasn't that hungry at the moment.

After Yoona left my room, I slumped back into my bed. 'Can't she at least give me the food personally? Doesn't she miss me at all?' I thought by refusing Sunny's invite for dinner earlier would prompt Jae to at least try to persuade me to join them but there was no message or call from her. Maybe she thought that I was really tired. I was a bit upset about it but when Yoona told me that Jae had bought food for me, it made me feel a bit better knowing that she would still think of me when I'm not around. 'But why didn't she pass me the food personally?' Our dorms are just beside each other. It doesn't take long for her to meet me for a while so that I can at least see and hug her for a minute.

My phone beeped as I saw a message from Jae.

To Sicababy:

Are you already asleep? Did Yoona pass you the food? Eat it if you're hungry. If not, heat it up for breakfast since your class starts at 10am tomorrow. Sorry that I didn't give it to you personally. Feeling exhausted at the moment so I'm going off to sleep now since my class is at 8am. You have a good night rest okay. Saranghae, Sicababy. <3

Reading Jae's message made me felt guilty all of a sudden. 'She must have been really tired.' Her classes were really packed from 8am to 5pm almost everyday ever since the restart of school. At least, I have 2 days in a week where my class starts at 10am and 2 other days where it ended at 3pm. After typing a reply, I walked to the kitchen and heat up the spaghetti.

Jae's POV:

After a quick shower, I walked back into my room and checked my phone. 'No messages? Is Sica really asleep?' I looked at the clock and saw that it was already 11.30pm. 'Should I just message her?' While I was in the shower earlier, I kept contemplating my actions of not giving the food personally to Jessica. The truth is, I was kind of upset with her. Firstly because she chose to rest instead of joining us for a short dinner and secondly because she didn't inform me anything about her design assignment.

Well, I wasn't that upset with the first reason as much as the 2nd one though. I mean if she's really tired, I shouldn't force her to join us right? But why didn't she inform me about her being a model? Even Taeng is aware of it. Was it really because she had forgotten about it or because she thought that it was of no importance to me? The worst part is that she'll be modelling with another guy to show off a couple clothing line. I sighed as I slumped into my bed.

'Maybe I'm just overthinking about it. Maybe she really had forgotten about it or like what Taeng said, maybe she didn't had the chance to inform me yet since both of us had been busy. But then...' Once again I sighed as I grabbed my phone and stared at it.

Typing a quick reply, I put my phone at the side table and prepared to sleep as I stared at the ceiling. A beeping sound bolted me up from bed as I grabbed my phone to read the incoming message.

To Jaegi:

I'm going to heat up the food now. Mianhae for not joining you guys earlier. You should rest well too. Nado, saranghae and Jaegi, I really miss you a lot. <3

I had a wide smile on my face after reading the message as I grabbed my bolster and switched off my table lamp.
