"Was this the cafe where you confessed to Sica, Jae?" Taeyeon asked the moment we sat down at the table.

I nodded my head and was just about to say something when Sooyoung intercepted me.

"So we can eat for free if we performed on that stage right?" Sooyoung pointed on the stage where I performed on previously.

"We have to check with the waiter if that offer is still applicable." Jessica replied as Sooyoung quickly raised her hand to call a waiter over.

After checking with the waiter and finding out that the offer is still valid, Sooyoung got excited as she quickly suggested for me to perform on stage.

"Mworago? Anni, anni... I can just pay for the cakes. My treat." I replied, protesting against Sooyoung's suggestion but when I saw Sooyoung smiling cheekily at Jessica, I panicked. "If you're going to use Sica against me, I'm going to kill you."

"Jaegi, even if Soo didn't do that, I would still want to see you perform. You know I'm your biggest fan, right?" Jessica smiled sweetly at me. "But if you don't want to do it, I'm not forcing you. Especially since...." Jessica paused as she looked straight into my eyes.

I knew she was referring to the earlier incident in the toilet. "Unless Soo and Taeng help me out, then I'm not performing." I said as Sunny and Tiffany quickly forced their girlfriends to do likewise, causing me to laughed out loud.

After the naggings and the protests, Sooyoung and Taeyeon had no choice but to help me out as the 3 of us walked towards the stage.

"Taeng, we're not going to be singing. I can't sing since my voice is not in a good condition." I said as both of them looked at me.

"So what are you planning to perform then? Magic trick?" Taeyeon asked me with a confused look.

"Do you still remember the dance that we like to do during the school break when we were 15?" I asked Taeyeon who frowned before she started to nod her head. "Let's perform that."

"Are you crazy? It's embarassing. Anni, anni.. I'm not going to do that in front of the people here." Taeyeon waved her hands at me, while Sooyoung just continued looking at us with a confused expression.

"It's either that or I'm going to tell Fany that you were drooling over her when she played the racing machine in the arcade earlier." I smirked at Taeyeon who had her jaws dropped.

After Taeyeon finally agreed, I turned to Sooyoung and asked her to help us to borrow 2 caps from anyone in the group, failure to do so will result in no performance which means no free food. Faster than you can say 'hello', Sooyoung went off to borrow two caps. After she came back, me and Taeyeon took a cap each and I told Sooyoung to play a certain song from my phone, once me and Taeyeon were ready on stage. Without having to be asked, Sooyoung walked up to the stage to inform everyone about our performance. When Sooyoung was about to end her speech, me and Taeyeon walked up to the stage and got ready. Giving the signal to Sooyoung, the music then started.

Meanwhile at the table, the girls were busy looking through the menu book and discussing about what to order when they heard Sooyoung's voice. The 3 of them looked up towards the stage as they saw Sooyoung grinning when she introduced the next performance. 

Tiffany's POV:

As I watched Sooyoung talked, I noticed two familar faces walking up on stage and stood behind Sooyoung. Since when did the two of them wore a cap? When Sooyoung ended her introduction, I noticed Taetae pulling down her cap lower and covered her head with her hoodie. Are they going to sing while standing since I didn't see any chairs near them? When the music started, I literally had my jaws dropped. OH MY GOSH!! I can't believe that my Taetae is dancing on stage. Seems like she and Jae had been dancing to the song for sometime as they were totally in sync with their dance moves. I got so excited looking at both of them that I started to cheer them on. With my loud excited voice, everyone in the cafe started to join in. They dance for almost 2mins before the song ended as they bowed to the crowd and walked down the stage. That was super hot coming from my Taetae.

Jessica's POV:

 I wasn't really concentrating to what Sooyoung was saying as I was looking around for Jaegi. Is that her wearing the cap? How come she and Taeng are suddenly wearing a cap? Why would they need to wear a cap anyway when they're just going to sing? I saw Jaegi looking at our table as Sooyoung ended her speech before she stared back at the floor. The moment the music started, I had to cover my mouth quickly since I don't want to give out my dolphin scream. I saw Tiff practically had opened and moments later, she was cheering them on loudly. For me, I just continued staring at Jaegi who obviously was enjoying herself as I saw her smiling away and at times grinning at Taeng. Jaegi-ah, you're always full of surprises.

As I followed Taeyeon down from the stage, I couldn't stop giggling as I saw Taeyeon murmuring to herself. She kept trying to cover her face as she pulled down the cap. When we reached the side of the stage, Sooyoung was practically grinning from ear to ear. She informed us that even before we ended the performance, the waiter had informed her that we've managed to get the offer since the crowd was already cheering us on by then. The waiter would be coming to get our orders soon as we walked to the table after passing the caps back to Sooyoung for her to return it.

I saw Tiffany still excitedly clapping her hands and opened up her arms to welcome Taeyeon. Sunny was smiling while my forever icy girlfriend was just staring at us. I kind of like her cold yet clueless stare. It makes you wonder what exactly is going through her mind right now.

"Taetae!!! That was so hot. Since when did you know how to dance?" Tiffany gave Taeyeon a big hug when the girl sat down beside her girlfriend.

"It's so embarassing. I would've never expect that I'll be performing that dance on stage one day. It was suppose to be a dance that me and Jae used to just do it for fun at home when we were 15yrs old. Aaaarrrhhh... So embarassing and it's all Jae's fault." Taeyeon covered her face once again.

I just chuckled at Taeyeon as I pulled in my chair nearer to the table. I wasn't expecting for Jessica to have the same reaction as Tiffany since both of them are like polar opposites but I was shocked when she turned to face me. Putting her right elbow on the table and rested her chin on her palm, she pointed at me with her left hand.

"Park Hyun Jae, you never cease to surprise and amaze me. What other tricks do you have up your sleeves?" Jessica broke into a smile as she poke me at my shoulder.

"As long as my tricks can put a smile on your face, I think I'll keep showing you until you grow tired of me." I smiled at her as she arched her eyebrows at me and rolled her eyes.

"Yah, both of you. Stop with the cheesiness" Sooyoung said as she sat down beside Sunny. "Bunny, why do you keep smiling at Jae and Taeng?"

"They were so hot. Did you see how they dance? It was awesome. If only you could dance like that." Sunny replied which caused Sooyoung to pout. 

I saw Sooyoung's reaction and she looked a bit upset. When the waiter came over, she only ordered a slice of cake, just like the rest of us which to me was not normal since she can practically eat 3 slices by herself. Sunny didn't seem to notice any difference with Sooyoung as she continued to chat with the rest of us until it was time to leave.

It was a lazy Sunday morning. I was the first one awake so I decided to prepare some breakfast for the rest. While I was cooking the pancakes, Sooyoung walked in with a dishevelled hair. She grabbed a glass of water before taking a seat at the dining table. I noticed that she looked moody. As I placed the plate of pancakes and also additional empty plates on the dining table, I asked Sooyoung to have breakfast with me.

"It's okay, Jae. I'm not hungry. Maybe I'll just skipped breakfast. I'm going back to my room to continue my sleep." Sooyoung finished up her drink, left the glass at the sink and walked back into her room.

I frowned as I continued watching Sooyoung's abnormal behaviour. 15mins later, Yuri woke up and joined me at the dining table while Taeyeon joined us about 10mins after Yuri. While we were eating, Taeyeon suddenly looked up and kept turning left and right as if she was looking for something. By then, I was already done with my breakfast.

"Hey, where's Soo?" Taeyeon looked at both me and Yuri.

"No wonder I felt something amiss. I'll go and wake her up." Yuri said as she was about to stand up when I stopped her.

'"She's already awake but she said that she's not hungry and will skip breakfast." I told them.

"Mwo?" Both of them were shocked by my words as I just nodded my head.

"Is Soo sick? This is the first time that I've heard her say that she was not hungry." Taeyeon said.

"Let's go and check on her." Yuri suggested as I just followed the two of them who had walked towards Sooyoung's bedroom door.

Yuri knocked on the door before turning the knob and pushed the door open. The 3 of us took a peek inside and saw Sooyoung lying on the bed while staring at the ceiling. All 3 of us walked in as Sooyoung slowly realised our presence.

"Hey, what's up?" Sooyoung asked, trying to sound cheerful but her tone of voice said likewise.

"Jae told us that you didn't want to have breakfast. Are you feeling unwell?" Yuri asked with a concern look.

"Or did you missed my kimchi fried rice for breakfast? I can cook for you if you want." Taeyeon grinned dorkily.

Taeyeon's remarks brought a smile to Sooyoung's face as we sat down near her bed while she sat up. Sooyoung then said that she doesn't feel hungry that's why she's skipping breakfast.

"But it's not good to skip breakfast, Soo. You're upset about something, right?" The shocked look on Sooyoung's face proved that I had guessed correctly while Yuri and Taeyeon just had a confused look on their faces. "I think Sunny didn't really meant it in a bad way."

I saw Sooyoung sighed as I explained my observations about what happened yesterday between Sooyoung and Sunny to Taeyeon and Yuri.

"But yesterday was not the first time that I got upset with her words. Sometimes it made me feel like I'm not good enough for her. The way she admires other girls makes me feel insecured. Most of the time, I'll just laugh it off but inside, it hurts. Bunny is good at her observation skills but when it comes to me, it seems like she couldn't care less."

"The problem is, you're keeping all this in your heart and you're starting to make your own assumptions of Sunny." I said as Taeyeon and Yuri just listened. "Tell her how you feel about all this, Soo. She won't know that she's hurting you if you don't tell her. If she knew that she's hurting you, the person that she loves, she'll feel upset too."

I was about to continue talking when we heard the doorbell rang. It seems that Sunny, Tiffany and Jessica had arrived at our dorm. All of us went out to invite them in except for Sooyoung who stayed in her room. When the 3 girls entered, I pulled Sunny aside to talk to her while Jessica joined Tiffany at the dining table. While I talked to Sunny about Sooyoung, I noticed that Jessica was watching the both of us. After I ended the talk, Sunny quickly went to Sooyoung's room while I walked to the dining table.

"Have you all had your breakfast?" I asked as Tiffany and Jessica shook their heads. I then told them that I'll make some pancakes for them to which Tiffany clapped her hands in excitement while Jessica just folded her arms.

I made my way to the kitchen and was getting the batter ready when Jessica walked in. She stood beside me and was just about to open to talk when I intercepted her. "Soo is having some problems with Sunny." I saw Jessica closed before she nodded her head slowly and walked back to the dining table. I put all the pancakes on one plate and did a separate one for Jessica.

"Here you go, Fany-ah." I placed the plate in front of Tiffany as Taeyeon passed her an empty plate. "And this is specially for my Sicababy who was feeling jealous earlier." I smirked at the pouting Jessica as I sat beside her.

"How come only Jessi gets the heart-shaped pancakes and we get the normal ones?" Tiffany asked.

"Because someone was jealous when I ignored her earlier and talked to Sunny instead." I laughed as Jessica slapped me onn my arms.

While all of us continued chatting, we were shocked when we heard shoutings and soon after, Sunny went out from Sooyoung's room and ran out from our dorm. All of us were left speechless as Yuri quickly when to Sooyoung's room while the rest of us followed her.

"What happened, Soo?" Yuri asked at a sobbing Sooyoung who was crouching near her bed.

"Mianhae, Bunny. Mianhae.. I didn't mean it that way. " Sooyoung said in between her sobs.

I frowned at Sooyoung and tapped Taeyeon's shoulders. "Help me to take care of things here. Get the whole story from Soo. I'm going to look for Sunny." Taeyeon nodded her head as I grabbed Jessica's hand and dragged her out of our dorm.

As we walked to the girls' dorm, Jessica asked me what actually happened so I told her everything that I knew of about yesterday. We reached their dorm as I ended the story and Jessica opened up the door.

"Sunny!!" Jessica screamed from the door but there was no answer. "Lee Soonkyu!!"

I almost wanted to laugh when I see Jessica screaming out Sunny's real name but it was not a time for laughter as we walked to Sunny's room. Seeing that there was no one there, we looked at each other and frown.

"Sicababy, do you have any idea where Sunny would be right now?"

"Let's try the cafetaria." Jessica replied as she walked towards the door.

"Cafetaria? That would be the place where Sooyoung would be, not Sunny." I said as we left their dorm and walked down to the lobby.

"Trust me, Jaegi. An upset Bunny is a hungry Bunny. She's a mini shikshin and she likes to eat ice-cream whenever she's upset. Let's go there and have a look." Jessica replied as I just nodded my head.

Just like what Jessica had guessed, we found Sunny at a corner of the cafetaria with a bowl of ice cream in front of her. She was too busy stuffing herself with it that she didn't notice the both of us approaching her.

"Hey, can we join you?" I asked as Sunny looked up. Her eyes was watery but she was not crying. Sunny just nodded her head as Jessica sat beside her while I sat in front of Jessica.

I just sat there quietly as I waited for Sunny to talk but I guess Jessica was getting impatient when she pinched my hand that was on the table. I pouted at Jessica before turning to look at Sunny. "What happened back there, Sunny?" I asked softly, trying not to aggravate the situation.

Sunny put down her spoon and looked at us. "Why didn't she tell me about it before? She says that she has been feeling insecure since 6months ago. And all this while, I thought she was okay with my jokes. How can she thinks that I meant everything I said? She makes it sound like I'm doing it on purpose to hurt her feelings and the words she used earlier was far more hurtful than whatever that I've said of her before." At last, Sunny broke down as Jessica quickly patted her on her back, trying to console her.

I was trying to think of what to say when my phone vibrated. It was a message from Taeyeon.

To Jae:

Did you manage to find Sunny? Soo had told us what happened and now Fany is giving her a scolding. Seems like Soo said some harsh words to Sunny and feeling regret at the moment.

To Taeng:

Me and Sica are at the cafetaria with Sunny. She's a bit upset at the moment and is crying. I'll update you again once I get the full story from Sunny's side.

I put my phone aside as I noticed that Sunny had stopped crying. Jessica was watching her with a worried expression as she kept Sunny's head to calm her down.Seeing Jessica's warm side made me smile as I momentarily admired my girlfriend. It's only when Jessia turned to glare at me, that I snapped back to reality.

"Sunny-ah, what exactly did Soo said?" I asked.

"She said that since I admire other girls more than her, I can go and flirt with them. She won't care anymore." I saw Sunny biting her lips, maybe to suppress her anger. "How can she say it like that? I do admit I admire other girls sometimes but that doesn't mean I want to flirt with them. It's just purely admiration, nothing more. I can't believe she can just say all that to me non-chalantly. I'm not a to be flirting with everyone." Sunny ended her sentence with a lot of anger in her tone of voice.

"Hey, hey, hey.... Relax. I don't think Soo was trying to say that you're a . Look, sometimes when you're angry or upset, you tend to say things that you don't exactly mean it. I believe Soo's regretting whatever that she had said to you but maybe you can try to see the situation from her point of view too." I said as I smiled at Sunny. "Soo is feeling insecure because she's afraid to lose you. She thinks that she's not good enough for you to admire. She's been keeping it all in because she thought that after sometime, she would be able to adapt to your jokes and get over it. She's trying not to look petty over all this but sometimes some words might strike a cord right at the heart and it hurts"

"I think both of you are at fault. Soo, for keeping her insecurities to herself and you, for not being sensitive about her feelings. Even if Soo didn't show that she mind when you showed your admirations for other girls, you should at least try not to make her feel small. How do you feel if Soo suddenly commented about a tall girl with a nice figure and said to you that she wish you were taller? That would hurt right?" Jessica said as Sunny slowly nodded her head. "It's not wrong to admire others, Sunny but you need to do it tactfully without comparing them with Soo.

Sunny sighed as she began to see the whole picture. She said that when she commented and admired other girls, she thought that Sooyoung would understand that it was just an admiration. She didn't realise that her words had made Sooyoung feel inferior. "No matter how much I admire other girls, my tall Shikshin will always be number 1 in my heart. Maybe I've not been letting her know about how I feel about her lately, which is why she's having all these insecurities. Thanks Jae. Thanks Sica. For making me see the whole picture." Sunny gave Jessica a hug as I typed a message to Taeyeon.

I had asked Taeyeon to tell Sooyoung to look for Sunny at the cafetaria and to talk things through properly. Once Taeyeon received my message, I told Sunny that Sooyoung will be coming soon and I told her to clear all the misunderstandings. Sunny nodded her head as me and Jessica excused ourselves.

While walking back to the dorm, we met Sooyoung who was rushing as if she was late for classes. She stopped in front of us and bowed down her head. I just patted her head, reminded her to stay calm and think of her words properly before saying it. Sooyoung nodded her head and waved us goodbye as she continued to the cafetaria.

"Jaegi, can I ask you something?" I nodded my head to Jessica. "Will we have problems like them? First it was HyoHyun, then TaeNy and now is SooSun."

"We will." I said as Jessica frowned at me. "There's no relationship in this world that doesn't have a problem. We're not born perfect, Sicababy and we're not identical so problems and conflicts will always be around. But... we're going to face it together. You and I will work hard to find a solution to any problems we will face one at a time. Is that okay with you?" I asked as Jessica nodded her head sheepishly.

We arrived back at my dorm as we saw TaeNy and Yuri gathered around at the living room. I sat at the dining table to accompany Jessica to finish up her leftovers pancake. While Jessica was eating, I updated the rest of the girls with whatever that had happened at the cafetaria. They also told me what happened after I left with Jessica. Once Jessica was done eating, I followed her to the kitchen as she washed her plates before we join the rest of the girls at the living room. It was already 4pm so we decided to watch a movie while we waited for SooSun to return.

An hour later, we were halfway watching the movie when we heard the dorm's door opened. Sooyoung and Sunny entered with entwined hands as all of us just smiled at them. Sooyoung apologised for causing trouble to everyone and said her thanks for helping her to clear things out. I asked them what took them so long to come back and Sunny revealed that both of them had actually talked things out between them while eating at the cafetaria which brought laughter to everyone. Taeyeon then teased Sooyoung that Sunny would soon be jealous with Sooyoung's love for food but Sooyoung replied by saying that her love for Sunny was greater than her love for food. The two of them then joined us to continue watching the movie.

Me, Sunny and Seohyun managed to pass the criteria for the dual degree application so we thought of having a mini celebration in the dorm. We bought some food and snacks from the cafetaria and brought it to my dorm where the rest of the girls were waiting for us. We were having fun playing games and chatting around when my phone rang. Since Jessica was seated in between my legs, she had to move aside for me to take out my phone from my front pocket. I saw Appa's name on my phone screen as I quickly excused myself to the kitchen. I didn't want to answer the call at the living room as it was quite noisy.

Appa: Hi, Jae. How have you been doing?

Jae: Hi, Appa. I'm doing fine. How about you? Have you eaten?

Appa: It's almost 5am here, Jae, I'm getting up to get ready for work.

Jae: Oooppsss. Sorry, Appa. I forgot to count the time difference. Anyway, I managed to pass the application for the dual degree so I'll be taking that from next semester onwards. Appa, did you read my email yet? The one where I ask if it's possible for you to celebrate Christmas with me here.

Appa: I called to talk to you about that actually. I think it's better if you come back here to the States to celebrate Christmas with us. Going back there to celebrate Christmas will only remind me of your Omma.

Jae: But Appa, we can celebrate it at the orphanage with the children. It'll be much livelier and it'll create new memories for you here.

Appa: That orphanage is where your Omma grew up in, Jae. I don't think I'm ready to be back.

I can feel myself getting frustrated with the way things were going right now as I stole glances at Jessica who was in the living room.

Jae: Appa, you'll never be ready if you choose not too. It's almost 4yrs already since Omma left us.

Appa: You don't understand, Jae. I love your Omma a lot and thinking of her makes me sad. I just can't bring myself to go back there.

Jae: Then what about me?! I love Omma as much as you do. I miss her as much as you do. But here I am, by myself, surrounded by her memories and I've even visited her at the crematorium at least once a month. I know I choose to be here and I'm not asking for you to move back here. I just want you to come back to celebrate Christmas at the orphanage just liked what Omma would have wanted.

By then, I didn't realise that my voice had been raised as the girls quickly walked towards the kitchen. Jessica was the first one to stand in front of me.

Appa: Park Hyun Jae! You're coming home for Christmas and that's final.

I heard the line ended as Appa hang up his phone on me. I stared at the floor as I bite my lips, suppressing the frustration and sadness in me. I felt Jessica placing her hands on my waist as she tilted her head to look at my face.

"Jaegi, don't be angry at your Appa." Jessica said softly.

I took a deep breathe before looking up. "You won't understand." I removed Jessica's hands from my waist and walked to my room, slamming the bedroom door as I stepped in.
