We were reading through some of the emails sent for SooTae's radio show when Taeyeon suddenly started to laugh out loud. Her ahjumma laughter could be heard throughout our dorm living room.

"Yah, Kim Taeyeon!! Why are you laughing out loud so much? What's so funny?"

"Soo, this confession reminds me of you." Taeyeon continued laughing as she showed us the email.

To DJ Soo and DJ Taeng,

I've been liking this guy for some time now. The only problem is that he seems more interested in food than me. He will only ask me out to accompany him to go to some new restaurants to try out the food. He will be more focus with the food on the table than me. He did say that he enjoy being in my company but I'm not really sure of his feelings towards me. I'm afraid to confess because of this uncertainty.

"Yah!! How is that similar to me?" Sooyoung threw a pillow at Taeyeon as the rest of us laughed at the whole situation.

It's been a month since Sooyoung and Taeyeon started their radio show and it has seen a steady increase of confessions from students. But due to time constraint, both of them can only read about 10 confessions per day. They had to pick out the best confessions to be broadcast every week so me and Yuri are helping them to sort it out for tomorrow's show.

Me and Yuri was resting in the living room when Yuri's phone rang. After answering it, she told me that there's an emergency at the radio station and Taeyeon had requested for both of us to rush down there. I quickly grabbed my shoes and ran behind Yuri. It took us about 10mins to reach the station as we went to meet Taeyeon and Sooyoung. Trying to calm our breathing down, we asked Taeyeon what's the urgency.

"Big problem. The IT guy from the radio station said that the CD player system is down so we won't be able to play any songs at the moment."

"Can't they do anything about it?" I asked.

"They're still trying to figure out the problem now. " Taeyeon sighed as she flopped on the floor.

"Only the CD player system is down is it? Which means you both can still hold the show but without playing any songs. Why don't you both just continue talking on the show while they try to fix the problem?" Yuri tried to give a suggestion but both Sooyoung and Taeyeon shook their head.

"It'll be boring, Yul. You don't expect both of us to just be reading out the confessions without any songs." Sooyoung replied.

I looked into the broadcast studio room and saw that there was a guitar, a drum and keyboard in it. As Sooyoung and Taeyeon discuss with the IT guy, I came up with an idea. I approached them and asked the guy, how long will it take to fix the problem. He replied that it'll take around 45mins or lesser. SooTAe's show is supposed to start in 15mins time.

"Taeng, it's now 7.45pm. They can only fix it by 8.30pm. Why don't we perform live for the first 30mins of your show?"

Both Sooyoung and Taeyeon looked at me and their eyes brightened up when they heard my suggestion. For the next 15mins, the four of us did a rushed discussion and decided that we'll take turns with the guitar since me, Yuri and Taeyeon knows how to play with it. Sooyoung will play the drums and I'll play the keyboard too. We went through the list of confessions for the night and decided on a few songs to play which were familiar to us.

"Who's going to sing then?" Sooyoung asked as me and Yuri turned to look at Taeyeon.

"Me? But I can't be singing all the way. I don't have that much stamina. Jae, why don't you sing some too especially the english songs?"

I looked at her and wanted to reject but Taeyeon gave me her puppy eyes that she knows is my weakness and I had no choice but to agree. I told Taeyeon that I will sing on one condition which is for her not to reveal my name to the listeners. I told her to just tell them that we are invited anonymous guests on the show. Once Sooyoung and Taeyeon agreed, the four of us went into the studio room. Sooyoung and Taeyeon started off the show and explained to the audience about the mishap that happened. They both apologise with regards to the matter but informed that they will be having  a live performance instead until the problem is fixed.

I sat at the keyboard stool and tried to recall the chords for the songs that I was suppose to play. Yuri came up to me and passed me some music sheets for the songs. It seems that she had asked the help of the station coordinator to help print out the music chords. As Sooyoung started reading the first confessions, Taeyeon got ready to sing the first song.

After Taeyeon finished singing, she quickly drank some water while Sooyoung continue reading the next confession. Taeyeon looked at me and asked if I wanted to sing the next song but I shook my head. The truth is, I wasn't prepared to sing and the fact that my korean is still not that good makes me nervous. I told Taeyeon that I'll sing the 3rd song which is an english song and she agreed. As soon as Sooyoung finished reading the 2nd confession, Taeyeon started singing again while I calm myself down to play the keyboard.

As the song almost came to an end, I felt myself getting nervous again as I knew that it's almost time for me to sing. While Sooyoung was reading the 3rd confession, Taeyeon went to check with the IT guy about the problem. It seems that the problem is almost fixed but I still need to sing the last song. Since Yuri has been playing the guitar fro the past 2 songs, I told her that I'll just perform with a guitar solo so that she can take a break too. Sooyoung then introduce me as the anonymous guest that will perform the next song.

The IT guy came into the room the moment I ended the song to inform us that the problem had been fixed. All of us sighed in relieve and started to prepare the CDs for the next few songs. Both me and Yuri stayed behind as we watched Sooyoung and Taeyeon doing their show. When everything was over, the four of us walked back to the dorm, chatting about the whole incident and how well all four of us performed. We teased each other and ended up laughing until we reached our dorm.

During the radio show

Three girls were busy listening together to the radio broadcast, all thanks to Sunny who wanted to listen to Sooyoung's voice. Tiffany also seems to be interested in listening too while Jessica was just laying down on the couch in their dorm living room, When they heard that they'll be live performance due to a technical problem, Sunny increased the volume a bit higher. As they listen to Taeyeon's voice singing the first song, no one said anything as they were mesmerised with her voice. When the song ended, Sunny realised that Tiffany had shifted herself nearer to the radio while Jessica was almost dozing off.

"She's got an amazing voice. Don't you think so, Sunny?" Tiffany looked at Sunny who nodded her head.

Jessica was almost falling asleep when she was suddenly awaken by the strumming of the guitar. She found herself sitting up straight, listening to the voice that was singing at the moment. Tiffany saw Jessica's reaction and nudged Sunny who turned and looked too. Jessica was so engrossed listening to the song that she didn't realise that her two friends were observing her. When the song ended, two pairs of eyes with a smirk on their faces, were staring straight at Jessica.

"This is the first time I saw Jessi looked so interested in something besides sleeping. What do you think Sunny?"

"I'm amazed too. She actually woke up from her sleepy mode to listen to the song. Daebak!"

"Yah!! Can the two of you stop teasing me? Anyway who was the one singing?" Jessica looked at her two friends.

"It's Taeyeon." Sunny replied as she grinned at Jessica who rolled up her eyes.

"I knew the first two songs were sang by Taeyeon. I meant the 3rd song."

"You mean the song that was able to grab your full attention, is it Jessi?" Tiffany asked as Jessica gave her a cold stare. "We are not sure either. They introduce the person as an anonymous guest."

Jessica sighed as she slumped back to the couch. Her hopes of listening to that voice again vanished when Sooyoung announced that the technical problem has been fixed and they will continue the show as per normal.

That weekend, I had informed Yuri and Taeyeon about my plan to go to have dinner with Uncle and Aunt Kim. The two of them agreed to join me. When the 3 of us were getting ready, Sooyoung came out from the room with her messy hair.

"Where are you guys going?"

"We are going back to my place to have dinner with Taeyeon's parents."

"Your place? Taeyeon's parents?" Sooyoung was clearly still in a daze. "Oh yes. Taeyeon told me before that her parents work for your family. Can I join you guys? I'll be bored here all by myself."

"Of course!" Me, Yuri and Taeyeon replied her at the same time as we burst into laughter.

Since I've already informed Uncle Kim beforehand that he didn't have to fetch us, the four of us walked towards the bus stop once everyone were ready to go. We took the bus to my place and as we enter the gates, I chuckled at Sooyoung's reaction as she just stood rooted near the entrance.

"Hey Soo, why are you still standing there? Come on in." I called out to her as I walked in with Taeyeon.

"Yuri-ah, how rich is Jae actually? She told me that her dad owns a family busines like your dad and I thought that she was as rich as you. I've been to your house before but this is way too much different. And is that a Bentley car?"

"Family business like mine? That's so typical of Jae to summarise her wealth so briefly. Soo, Jae's family is 10 times more richer than mine. Her grandparents own a chain of hotels in the States. Her dad is currently managing a few of it. Her dad also have some investment in properties in Korea and if I'm not wrong, is a major donor to an orphanage and one of the shareholder to a private hospital but I can't remember the name of both. That car belongs to her dad."

Sooyoung had her jaws dropped listening to all of Yuri's explanation. She didn't imagine your wealth to be that much, looking at how humble you've always act in front of her. It makes Sooyoung suddenly feel ashamed of herself since she like to boast a bit about her family. Sooyoung entered the house and greeted Taeyeon's parents. She has met them when they had gatherings outside before. Aunt Kim then informed them that dinner is still in the process so I suggested for us to go to the music room.

I keep on laughing at Sooyoung's reaction as she seemed totally shocked at whatever that she saw. When we went to the music room, I could see that Sooyoung's eyes almost pop out. She keep saying how awesome my house is as she walks towards the drum set.

Taeyeon and Yuri then took a guitar each as I sat in front of the keyboard. The four of us took turns to sing as we played the songs that we are familiar with. We teased and joked about the incident where we had to perform live for SooTae's broadcast and I said that all four of us should have sang together since our voices are not that bad. While we continued playing around, Uncle Kim called us down to have dinner.

After dinner, we went to the poolside to chill and I commented that since I've been to Yuri's house before, the next gathering should be done at Sooyoung's house. I noticed that Sooyoung suddenly became awkward and nervous as she looked down for a short while before looking up.

"But Jae, my house is not as grand as yours. I feel embarassed to show it to you."

"Yah, Soo!! If you feel embarassed, then how about me? My family practically lives in Jae's house." Taeyeon suddenly became sensitive over the matter.

"Kim Taeyeon! One more time you looked down on yourself or your family, I'll pack my bags and return to the States." I didn't mean to threaten her that way but I got mad, hearing her looking down on herself and her family.

Taeyeon saw how angry I was and she couldn't control her tears. She didn't mean to allow such words to be said. She just felt inferior again and accidentally blurt out nonsense. Seeing how awkward things were, Yuri had no choice but to stepped in.

"Taeyeon-ah, both me and Jae has never looked down on you or your family background ever since we got to know each other. So why are you torturing yourself in that way, over and over again? I believe Jae treats you like a sibling and your family like her own. Being harsh on yourself is hurting her too. By the way Soo, we don't judge a friend by how rich her family is. Both me and Jae are not like that. So you don't have to feel embarassed about anything."

"Jae, I'm sorry. I promise not to ever do it again." Taeyeon looked at me with her puppy eyes. I sighed and hugged her.

"So our next gathering place will be at Sooyoung's house." I said as the rest of them nodded in agreement.
