Mrs. Jeon POV

“Is she okay?” The doctor smiled.

“She’s okay, Mrs. Jeon. Her wound isn’t deep, it will recover by time. But there’s something weird I needed a confirmation for you.” I took a breath.

“Is she having depression?” The doctor asked.

“I don’t think so. She always cheerful and smile when she’s with me. And her members also didn’t say anything.” I answered.

The doctor exhaled. “I found small cuts on her wrist. That wasn’t for commit suicide but it more likely her way to feel better. There are some cases similar to this. They attempt to hurt themselves to make their mind distracted from some depressing thought.”

I gasped. “But she…”

“Maybe she have some inner problems and never tell anyone.”

“What can I do?”

The doctor smiled a bit. “I don’t think her condition is serious. But to prevent it become worse, try to talk with her. Don’t force or push her to tell her problem but make her out of her misery.”

I nodded. “I will try.”

“As I know, she’s a singer right?” I nodded.

“I will give a month leave for her. By this time, you should help her.”

“Neh.” Jiyoon…what happen to you?

Author POV

Jiyoon opened her eyes slowly. The light struck her eyes.

“Hmmnn…” She groaned when pain stung in her waist area. Soon, the incident came into her conscience.

“Noona, are you awake?” Jiyoon turned. Her eyes opened completely and she saw Dongwoon.

“Woonie…” Her voice cracked.

“I’m glad you’re awake!” Dongwoon said happily. Jiyoon just curved a smile.

“How long I have been here?”

“One day. Your members went back to the dorm just now. They will come later.”

The door opened.

“Hyung.” Dongwoon said. Doojoon entered the ward. Jiyoon bit her lips when she saw Doojoon.

“Doojoon oppa…” Doojoon smiled.

“Are you okay?” Jiyoon nodded slightly. Doojoon came closer to her.

“Jiyoonie, gomawo for saving me.” Jiyoon looked at him.

“The officer showed us the recording and explained that the attacker targeted Doojoon hyung, but you save him. Thank you noona.” Dongwoon said.

Jiyoon bit her lips. “Actually Woonie, oppa…”

“No need to say anything.” Doojoon smiled. Jiyoon stayed silent.

She was hoping that the attacker wouldn’t get caught.

After three days staying in the hospital, Jiyoon could go home. Her mother brought her home and gave a notice to the Cube for Jiyoon’s one month hiatus. Even though Cube asked for explanation, Mrs. Jeon just said about her wound. Jiyoon also weird with her mother’s decision but after some talks, Jiyoon just agreed.

The case also closed as Jiyoon wanted it like that. She wanted to tell the truth but she wasn’t strong enough. And now, the truth just buried like that.
