"Wallet?" 

 

"Oh..." Jongin's face fell slightly 

 

"What would you do without me" Kyungsoo laughed as he moved to put Jaejoong in his car seat 

 

"Well I've never been without you darling so I really wouldn't like to find out" Jongin kissed his boyfriend's cheek before ducking indoors to grab his wallet. 

 

"Umma am I going to see Mei today?" Jaejoong asked hopefully and Kyungsoo beamed at him widely in response 

 

"Of course, you'll be seeing everyone today"

"LUHAN" Sehun shouted frustrated "UNLOCK THE BATHROOM DOOR ALREADY I NEED TO PEE" 

 

"Just wait a second baby I'm almost done!" 

 

"LUHAN WHAT ARE YOU UP TO? WE HAVE TO LEAVE SOON" 

 

"Calm down already!" Luhan swung the door open and Sehun took in his rather 'pink' husband 

 

"Why is your hair pink?" 

 

"Just hurry up and have a shower" Luhan said slyly "we have to leave in an hour" 

 

"I've been yelling at you for the past hour" Sehun rolled his eyes "I've fed Mei breakfast, she's really excited to see Jaejoong for some reason" Sehun narrowed his eyes 

 

"Okay I'll make sure she's dressed to impress!" Luhan winked slapping Sehun's on the way out of the bathroom 

 

"Hey! I'd prefer she's dressed in appropriate clothes!" Sehun feebly called after Luhan shaking his head slightly "Aish that kid" 

 

Oh wait 'that kid' was his husband

"And remember Dara's scarf and gumboots and drink bottle, and-" 

 

"Baekhyun chill" Chanyeol laughed slapping his husband on the back earning a yelp from the shorter "we already went through this around twenty times last night" 

 

"I know it's just our first proper holiday with Dara... Well actually at all so you know really nervous" 

 

"Don't worry Baekhyun it'll be fine, all the boys together taking on the world" Chanyeol laughed 

 

"Just like old times" Baekhyun murmured 

 

"You know... I know you think that we've done badly all of us as friends to each other, but you know I disagree we've each done the best we can, we don't like each other sometimes but we all come from the same roots and those roots are so deep they're impossible to break, I can't say things will always be the same, hell I'm the most unpredictable person on the planet, but I think we're on the right track" 

 

"We're still young Chan haha not even close to thirty" 

 

"I know haha and we have a school aged daughter, how scary" 

 

"We'll be young grandparents" Baekhyun laughed and Chanyeol's eyes widened 

 

"Hopefully not too young... I don't think I could handle it" 

 

"Honey you can handle anything" 

 

"My daughter slash niece, well yeah daughter I guess I adopted her so... Anyway not the point, is not going to have babies for a long long long long long long long long-" 

 

"I get it, long" 

 

"Long long long long" 

 

"Pabo get in the car already we need to pick up Suho hyung" 

 

"Where is he?" 

 

"Oh, he stayed the night at Jinki's" Baekhyun shuddered "don't want to think about it" 

 

"I have an idea" Chanyeol smirked 

 

"Shoot" 

 

"Just get Yixing to pick him up"

 

"That's your brilliant idea?" 

 

"Well yeah I'm sure they'd both love it!" 

 

"True... Okay I'll do it for the sake of my hyung's relationship... Non existing relationship" 

 

"Relationship in progress?" 

 

"We'll work it out later"

"Youngdae what the hell?!" Jongdae screeched as he chased his son round the living room 

 

"Dad shut up!!" 

 

"No! Tell me what's behind your back!"

 

"It's a secret, go away!" 

 

"Min! Youndae's keeping secrets!" Jongdae pouted 

 

"What secrets could a five year old possibly have?" Minseok rolled his eyes pulling all the bags into the lobby "Youngdae stop messing around and help Mindae put on her shoes" 

 

"Okay Umma!" Youngdae said angelically skipping over to his little sister 

 

"Aish that kid" 

 

"You think it's bad now... Wait till puberty" 

 

"I'd rather not to be honest..." 

 

"I dibs giving them the talk"

"LU ING HAN" Sehun stormed out of the bathroom wanting to throttle the live out of his husband 

 

"Yes sweetie?" Luhan smiled fluttering his eyelashes "pink really suits you" 

 

"What is this?! Why is my hair pink?!" Sehun wailed "Chanyeol and Jongin are going to rip the out of me" 

 

"Relax honey, don't worry about it you look perfect just embrace the pink- say you were supporting cancer or some " 

 

"A gay man supporting cancer..." 

 

"Yeah?" 

 

"I could just say that Luhan put pink dye in my shampoo bottle" 

 

"Yeah that's about accurate" Luhan beamed 

 

Sehun sighed in resignation before glancing at Mei. 

 

"Luhan, what the is Mei wearing" 

 

"NO SWEARING IN FRONT OF MY BABY" 

 

"Our baby" 

 

"Yes, NO SWEARING IN FRONT OF OUR BABY"

"Hey I guess I'll be heading off now" Lay glanced over at his wife warily "Are you sure you don't want to come? Luna would really like her mother to-" 

 

"Xing you know I don't do road trips, just go" 

 

"Oh alright then, well I'll see you next week then?" 

 

"Yeah, I have a business trip on the 25th though" 

 

"Oh really? Where?" 

 

"Busan" 

 

"Ah I see well I'll see you when we get back, Luna say goodbye to your mother" 

 

"Bye Mummy!" 

 

"Bye sweetheart be good okay? Have fun" 

 

"Bye Vic" he coughed "love you" 

 

"Love you too" the response was automatic, robotic, stiff it was anything but love. 

 

The door softly shuts and Victoria can't quite understand why she feels hollow.

"It's just one week you'll survive without me" Joonmyun sighs as he packs his toothbrush 

 

"Please just don't go, stay with me" Jinki pleads 

 

"No, I promised them I'd go, they're my best friends"

 

"Joonmyun, do you love me?" 

 

"What?" Joonmyun chokes out hoarsely 

 

"Do you love me?" 

 

"I- I- I guess" 

 

The slap across his cheek that follows is harsh and raw, he clutches his face wincing 

 

"Don't lie" Jinki snarls "Fine, go on your lame trip- I'll see you when you get back" 

 

Joonmyun decides he never wants to come back
