Year 12- November
"My last day of freedom" Lay chuckled to his best friend, they were at Xiumin and Chen's house getting ready to go to his stag party
"Make the most of it then" Suho said smiling, his eyes curving into crescents as he handed Lay a mug of coffee
"Thank you Suho, for everything" Lay said seriously looking Suho in the eyes
As long as I'm part of your life, I'm okay
"Oh, come on I didn't do that much" Suho chuckled getting off the sofa and straightening Lay's collar
They looked into each others eyes Lay felt a spark of electricity pull through him so strong it was painful, he looked into Suho's eyes once more
He saw pain, he saw longing, he saw sadness
But Suho didn't let him see anything else, he quickly let go of Lay's shirt
Did he see me?
"C'mon lets go! We don't want to keep Baekhyun waiting"
"Oh okay"
Lay followed Suho out into the car

It was midnight and everyone was drunk as , except for Chanyeol and Baekhyun, for some reason, maybe they just didn't want to drink
"Drinking makes me feel sick" Baekhyun said to Kris who was looking at him like he was an idiot, mind you he was drunk so... It wasn't that unusual
"Just have one" Kris passed him over a glass of wine
Baekhyun rolled his eyes
"One" he took the glass
Chanyeol's phone rang so he went outside to answer it
"Hello?"
"Are you Mr. Park Chanyeol?"
"Uh yes? Is something wrong"
"You need to get to the hospital immediately"
"How come?" Chanyeol asked confused
"I'm so sorry" was all the caller said before hanging up
"What?" Chanyeol asked himself before going inside to get Baekhyun
"We have to go"
"Hmm? Why what's wrong?"
"I'm needed at the hospital"
"Oh? Okay"
The pair walked over to Lay who was chatting with Suho, Luhan and Sehun
"Hey guys, we're off, we'll see you tomorrow" Baekhyun waved
"Oh?" Lay got up to hug them both "Thanks for coming"

The drive was silent
Chanyeol gripped the steering wheel hard
Why was he needed?
